"Sookie, darling. Wake up."

Sookie stirred but kept sleeping. Pam rolled her eyes and shook her roughly on the telepath's shoulders. The same manner two sisters would to wake each other up. Sookie got up, clearly irritated but it faded immediately when realized the only person who would do that to her.

Pam smiled back at her friend's sleepy grin. The blonde vampire opened her mouth to say something before she was kicked off the bed and fell on her backside. At least the rug helped a bit in cushioning her fall. "Bitch." She snarled playfully before standing up quickly.

Sookie laughed and sat up. "I can't believe it took you weeks to come see me!" Her voice held neither accusation nor any bitterness, only a cheerful greeting.

"I had to clean up after Eric and the faeries' scents were getting me high. We couldn't risk it." She explained. Pam moved to sit next to her on the bed again, but thought better of it and took the recliner seat instead. Sookie watched her movement in anticipation to prank her again but Pam already was expecting her tactics. The vampire smirked, "What have you been up to then, little Tinkerbelle?"

The moment of playfulness had ended when Pam had called her own childhood nickname. "Did you know that I was a faerie? Is that why you've been calling me that?" Her voice held no anger, only gentle curiosity.

Pam's smile had faded once she had asked her. "Yes."

And there it was.

The three of them knew and had kept it for so long.

For her safety.

For her family's lives; both vampire and human.

Sookie understood the reason why she had to go and hide but knowing that even Pam had hidden these from her made her feel left out and a little betrayed. There was the prickling feeling that pushed against her heart. What else have they been hiding from her all these years? What else have the people that she had cared and loved and known for all these years kept from her?

It stung even more, the mere thought of the three of them hiding these things from her after all that they had been through...after all she and Pam had been through together.

The first time Sookie met Pam was when Godric had taken her to New Orleans to live. Sookie couldn't live in the nest, even though they had treated her warmly and were nothing but kind to her.

But Godric still couldn't trust them; no he could never risk it. When he had moved to their new home, Godric had asked Pam to take care of her in the meantime as he took care of their living arrangements and paperwork in his Area. Sookie was already eight years old by then and insisted that she was old enough to take care of herself. Godric merely smiled and said that it was Pam who needed the babysitting.

Sookie fought off her smile, knowing that Godric was playing a trick on her, but nonetheless agreed, as long as Godric would buy her Mcdonald's when he gets home.

Godric then introduced Pam to little Sookie. Pam patted her head condescendingly and sat on the stool chairs near the counter right after Godric had left.

Pam had shown her reluctance throughout the beginning of the night, by ignoring Sookie the whole time.

Eventually, Sookie grew bored and decided to host a tea party. Sookie didn't invite Pam, since she seemed busy with her nails and phone.

The little blond telepath tore through her closet and changed her dress to a more formal one.

Sookie 'borrowed' some of the make-up that Pam had left on the counter and began playing with it. She tied her hair just as nicely as Pam (which was in an elaborate bun) but ended looking insane. Given in her young age, she didn't know any better and smiled at her own reflection. She walked around the room on her tip toes to try and look as if she was walking in heels and spoke in her best British accent with her stuffed toys and her guests of honor; Barbie and Ken.

Pam had walked into her room, already fuming. "What the hell did you do to my make-up, child?"

Sookie looked at her wide-eyed and almost apologized before Pam had doubled over and laughed. Pam had never seen anything like it, the little girl had her hair sticking out in different angles and her make-up made her look like a mad clown.

The young girl scowled and huffed with her hands on her hips. "If you can't behave, I think you should leave!"

Pam laughed some more, as she heard Sookie's southern drawl mixed with a terrible British accent.

At that moment, Pam had felt herself instantly melt at how adorable this girl was. Sure, she found babies and children annoying and a bit repulsive due to their stench and crying, but this one was amusing. "You look dumb."

"I do not!" Sookie pouted and sat down. "We're at a tea party. You're not invited."

Pam snorted and turned away. But as she did, she saw a moment of sadness from the girl's face. A look that she knew all too well. When she was a child herself, she had it too. It was the feeling of loneliness, her upbringing consisted of adults and booze. Clearing her throat, she asked, "May I join the tea party if I behave myself then?" Adding her own British accent.

Sookie smiled and nodded eagerly. The movement of her head made her hair look and move like an octopus having a seizure. Pam resisted the urge to laugh again.

Pam used her vampire speed and grabbed a cloth and wet it with warm water. She appeared in front of Sookie in a flash. "But before I do, I have to do your hair and make-up…like a little young lady should."

Sookie closed her eyes as Pam wiped off her make-up. Pam also undid the child's hair and brushed it several times before the tight knots and messy strands were smooth. She gathered Sookie's long blond hair and braided it. "I'm only going to do this for you once." Pam told her.

The little girl nodded and kept still as she felt Pam's delicate and fast hands braid her hair effortlessly. "There. All done." Pam smiled as Sookie turned around to look at the mirror.

"Wow, it looks beautiful." Sookie gushed as she touched her hair in awe. "Thank you Pam!"

"You are welcome."

"What about my make-up?" Sookie asked gently and excitedly.

Pam tilted her head, her eyes warm. "A little young lady shouldn't wear make-up until she's old enough. But you look wonderful. You don't need it."

They had their tea party for a long hour, enjoying their conversation. Pam continued to speak to the child in her usual sarcastic manner, while Sookie replied with her brutal honesty that most children had at her age. In short, they both liked each other instantly.

Godric came home seeing them and he swore not to tell Eric of what he witnessed to Pam.

After that night, Sookie and Pam had gotten closer and closer. They were inseparable. They were sisters.

Sookie looked at Pam, hiding her inner thoughts. She wanted to question what was really happening and if there were any secrets between them besides this one. Sookie felt a bit of a bitch by doubting their trust. But she had to ask.

Before she could have spoken, Pam took Sookie's hand. "I wish you could read my Sookie, just this once and acknowledge the fact that I wanted to tell you. I wanted to be honest with you, but you were too young to understand what all of this had meant. You were living with your ancient enemies for Fuck's sake! I agreed to keep this quiet because I was afraid that you might not trust me anymore. I kept calling you Tinkerbelle because it was the only hint I could've given you. Godric and Eric accepted the innuendo because it fit you." She smiled lovingly, knowing that Sookie and she had watched the movie several times together.

"I believe you, Pam. I'm not mad, just curious."

"Alright. Meet us in the library. But shower and change before you join us. You smell of sweat and dirt. Burn your sheets while you're at it. It seems that it may have been stained by your clothes covered in grime." She deadpanned before pursing her lips and walking away for the door.

Sookie laughed. "I've missed you, Pam.

Pam looked over her shoulder, "I've missed you too, Tinkerbelle." Her voice was warm and Sookie threw a pillow at her in jest. But she was too fast and left the room in lightning speed.

Sookie lied back down, and sniffed herself. I don't smell that bad.

Today's training was strenuous on her mental and energy capabilities. Sure Preston and Claude taught her the basics, but putting up a wall around her head and shooting light balls were exhausting as hell. Preston explained that it could help her concentrate but also hide my thoughts from any other telepath or faeries.

She groaned, thinking of the trainings she had to take again tomorrow. Put your big panties on and suck it up.

When the warm water hit her, she sighed in relaxation. She felt a whole better, and drifted to her thoughts. From Godric and Eric, to her new found family, her faerie cousins and now Pam. These issues were getting harder and harder to process.

Eric and Godric, they're still mad at her and she couldn't blame them. She jeopardized their locations and safety.

Check.

Her human family was happy without her, showing up would just complicate that.

Check.

She was training with faeries and strengthening her powers. She sees Claudine's last moments vividly and she can't seem to control it. But thankfully, she just passes out of exhaustion before even remembering her dreams.

Done and check.

Pam told her the truth, she should trust that. Of course she trusts them. Totally. Done.

But no matter how much she classified these issues with the word 'Done' and 'Check' she knew they were far from it. They were just the beginning.

Just the like her issue with Warlow.

Would she ever live without always looking over her shoulder? Her enemy was the most powerful creature that she had ever heard of. And it scared her, almost to a paralyzing point.

She was scared of what Warlow would do the others if he had found out. But from what she had remembered from Godric's description, he would be willing to convince her to come to him.

Along with Sookie's training, she was taught how to profile different people by a retired FBI Agent and profiler. It was different as to how he sees things, almost like his natural talent. To retrace a scene from just one glimpse and to know a person entirely from a few notes of their actions and personality traits. He taught her a lot about profiling people from serial killers to average joes.

She used those trainings and lessons to her advantage. She considered Warlow's past actions. His few known interactions around Gran and what she had told Godric from before. But unfortunately, the evidence wasn't enough to convince her from anything sure.

And what was she thinking? That she could somehow unlock something by herself without Godric or Eric.

She folded her sheets and dumped it unto the laundry basket for her to clean tomorrow. Maybe if she gave herself to Warlow instead? She could somehow convince him to let her family live. All of them.

Oddly, the thought didn't scare her as much as she expected. Instead, the hope in her began to stir.

She felt useless and even a liability, because maybe Godric accepted adopting her for the reason that her Gran asked him. Maybe Godric had mostly felt sorry for them.

Another thought gave her despair that maybe Godric just saw her as his salvation and that was why he opted to take care of her. Even though his love for her was genuine and true, Sookie still had her insecurities and felt that maybe they were forced to take care of her and that they didn't know the danger she was really in.

Those kinds of thoughts made her sadder than the rain did to her.

Sookie wore another sundress from Pam. This time it was a sleeveless pale blue chiffon dress that fell below her knees. She walked around the underground home of Godric barefoot, heading for the library. As she got there, she walked in on Eric reading a book. He was completely oblivious of her presence as he flipped through pages with his fast reading eyes and fingers. Sookie watched curiously from afar.

Eric was suddenly in front of Sookie. His eyes were blazing and he brought his face close to her, if she could just tilt her chin a bit, their lips would have touched. But she forced her not to. No Sookie! No!

"Are you alright?" Eric whispered as he wrapped his arms around Sookie's waist. She didn't know what to do, she was surprised. He slowly brought his hands down to her lower waist and pulled her closer, causing her to take a few steps towards him. Slowly, their bodies melded together. This was weird. But weird in a good way for me.

"I'm good. What about you?" Sookie croaked.

Eric smiled genuinely and chuckled. "I am very very fine." He rubbed his nose against her jaw. "Thank you for asking."

Sookie shuddered at Eric's brazen move and wondered what the hell was going on. "Eric? What are you doing?"

Eric stopped at her clavicle and faced her once again, "Isn't it obvious?" His eyes were burning into her, his lips an inch away from hers.

"She gulped. "Where's Pam?"

Pam chose that moment to walk in looking amused. "My dear little Sookie, Eric here is about to teach you something very important."

Sookie looked at Pam, avoiding Eric's gaze. She gently pushed him away, but only accomplishing in putting an inch of space from each other. "What is it?"

Eric chuckled and kissed her outstretched neck before whispering to her ear, "The art of Seduction."

A month later…

"Are you ready?" Godric whispered to Sookie as he carried her to Bon Temps.

Sookie sighed and nodded. As they landed, Godric gently placed Sookie on her feet. She brushed the dust off of her skirt and grinned widely at him. "I don't know whether to be excited or scared."

Eric and Pam landed a few seconds after them; all of the vampires were quiet and somber. After a few more moments, a larger group of vampires had followed, some had run and other older ones flew out.

Godric placed his hands on both sides of Sookie's face before kissing her forehead. "This is it. We believe in you greatly." He let her go before he sped to the house of Adele, he knocked three times before stepping back.

All the vampires heard Adele's soft voice saying that she will be right there. They all listened to her small and hurried steps coming from the kitchen. As the footsteps stopped to the door, she opened it and smiled at the stranger. "Well hello there. How may I help you all?" Her eyes focused on Godric, then to Eric and then finally to Sookie.

Godric smiled at Adele when her eyes met his. "It's time for you to remember Adele."

A/N: I know I promised the lesson with Eric, but there were so much elements to be considered first, and I didn't want to rush it too much. But I will be putting up flashbacks of those scenes in the next chappies.

Thank you for reading. Please let me know what you guys think. Mwah.
