Here's the one a lot of people have been waiting for: Ashley Tisdale's "Kiss The Girl"! I've been hoping to do this one for a while. I just hope you all like it. I can't wait!
A brief summary of this scenario is that Drew and May get caught up alone during a tense situation (thunderstorm, maybe?), and the scenario is PERFECT for a kiss. Unfortunately, Drew is nervous about it, as is May, and Drew tries working up the courage to kiss May. Whether or not he succeeds… Is up to me! ^_^ Enjoy!
It was a beautiful, sunny day in the world of Pokémon. Specifically, in Petalburg City, in the Hoenn Region. There was a specific event going on in the city: there was the grand opening of the newest amusement park, Poké-Land. It was made for Pokémon, Pokémon Trainers, and such of all ages and such.
The park had roller coasters, food stands, game booths, the entire nine yards and beyond. The other perk of the park was that it was completely allowed for patrons to let their Pokémon out of their Poké Balls to play and enjoy the fun, too.
There was one girl in particular amongst the crowd. She was a blue-eyed brunette wearing red attire that consisted of blue shorts, a yellow fanny pack, and it had white accents, including a red bandana with a white Poké Ball on it. She was also wearing blue fingerless gloves with white wrists. She was holding a large lollipop in hand and was licking it. The girl also had a Beautifly atop her head.
The girl's name was May. She was a Pokémon Coordinator, and a local in the town. She was also the daughter of the Petalburg City Gym Leader, Norman Maple.
"Isn't this fun, Beautifly?" May asked, as she licked her lollipop.
May's Beautifly merely nodded, and then the girl gave her Beautifly some liquid Pokéblock.
"Does it taste good?" May asked; Beautifly nodded and made some cheerful noises. "That's good."
May then petted her Beautifly's head and then she giggled happily.
However, also in the crowd was someone May would least expect. A boy who secretly liked her with a passion, and was about to reveal to May just how much… Albeit his method would be a tad questionable.
"Hey, May." A masculine voice said.
May turned around and saw a boy with emerald green hair and matching green eyes. He was carrying a cotton candy cone and his Roserade was by his side. This boy was Drew Hayden, May's main rival from LaRousse City; he was visiting in Petalburg, and decided to go to the park, too. He was secretly in love with May, but he had a cocky and arrogant air around him that prevented him from getting the message across.
"Drew." May said, with a mild look of discontent on her face.
"How are you doing? Having fun, like any small child would?" Drew said, teasingly.
"Shut up," May said. "I may be having fun, but I think that my good time turned bad now that you've come along."
May turned around and was about to leave when Drew cut off her path, with a smirk and a cocked eyebrow looking at her.
"What do you want?" May said, as she stepped back a bit. "Can't a girl treat her Pokémon to a little fun?"
"Of course she can," Drew said, as he backed May into a wall and put his hand on it, with a smile and wink. "She just can't grow up and mature if she goes to an amusement park without a date."
"Date? I don't need a date!" May said, as she blushed and turned her face away.
"Then why are you here alone with no one but your Beautifly? Or your family?" Drew said, seductively.
"Excuse me for wanting to go it alone!" May said, as she tried to leave. "Come on, Beautifly."
As she was making some distance, Drew was walking behind her, but the look on his face was not as confident; in fact, his eyes were a little more bugged, his face was red, and he look like he was nervous about something.
'Damn it,' Drew thought, embarrassed. 'That was a major mess-up. How can I get the girl if I keep causing her to go?'
'What was that about?' May thought, a little angry.
"So, May…" Drew said, about to make conversation. "How about we grab a bite to eat?"
"What do you mean 'we'? I already ate a lollipop and some popcorn." May said, crossing her arms.
"I thought you would be hungry for lunch." Drew asked, rubbing the back of his head; he was still a little embarrassed, and his face showed it.
"Not hungry," May said. "Leave me alone."
Drew then groaned as he soon found himself in a bit of a bind; he tried flirting with May, but it backfired.
"May, I really like you." Drew said, as he caught up with May and stood beside her as she waited in line for a darts game that had a stuffed Torchic as a prize.
"Are you lying to me?" May asked, as she waited.
Drew, seeing that May had her eye on the Torchic, then waited for his turn in the line.
"Alright, sir, are you here to win a prize for your girlfriend?" The booth man asked.
"Yes, I am." Drew said.
"Wait, he's not my…" May said, but Drew put his hand in front of May, motioning for her to leave the situation to him.
Drew paid the fee and then threw darts like crazy; he popped all of the smallest balloons, which scored him more points.
He won the Torchic, and then he turned to May, only to find her gone. Drew then ran off to find May.
Drew checked the pretzel stand, but May was not there; he tried a few rides, but May was not at any of them. None of the other game booths, none of the arcades and such. May was nowhere to be seen.
Drew was about to give up and leave, but out of the corner of his eye, Drew saw May; she was sitting at an ice cream stand, licking some ice cream. Her face showed she was not happy with the situation. She had her Beautifly next to her, drinking some liquid Pokéblock.
"There you are, May!" Drew said, as he sat down, and then handed May the stuffed Torchic. "I won the Torchic. Here you go."
May gently took the Torchic toy and then she put it in her backpack, that she brought with her to the park.
"I wanted to win it by myself," May said, as she finished eating her ice cream. "What's wrong with that?"
"Nothing's wrong with that at all, May," Drew said, as he stood up as May began to leave. "But why are you being so evasive with me?"
"I'm questioning whether or not you're being genuine," May said, as she kept walking away. "I'm not sure if you actually like me, because I'm getting mixed messages with your body language and your words."
"Mixed, how?" Drew inquired.
"You act all cocky and arrogant one minute, the next, you're going out of your way to to impress me or make me happy," May said. "I don't get what you're trying to tell me."
"I really like you! I like you a lot, May!" Drew insisted.
"I don't believe you," May said, as she began to leave. "I'm going."
"Hey, wait! May, please!" Drew said, as he took off after her; his face had a pink tint. "May, I'm trying to be honest here."
"You're not doing a good job of it." May said, turning a corner, trying to make some distance.
However, Drew kept chasing May around, trying to convince her of his intentions, but she was not having any of it. She would not believe a word that Drew was telling her.
"No! I…" May began, as she tried to avoid Drew's advances.
However, as Drew kept trying to talk to May, he and May unintentionally wandered into a ride that was closed off: The Tunnel of Love, which was titled in French, which said, "De tunnel l'amour". Drew was the only one who knew French between the two of them, but he was so busy trying to talk to May and convince her of his feelings that he did not notice the title on the ride and the fact that the ride was closed.
"May, just listen to me!" Drew begged of her.
"Would you leave me alone?!" May shouted, but she stumbled into a Swanna boat and ended up falling on her rear end.
"May!" Drew shouted, as he ran over to help May. He got into the boat, and he unintentionally flipped the switch to turn on the ride; this was something he did not pick up on. "You okay?"
"I'm okay," May said, as she tried to stand up. "Let's go before we…"
However, just as Drew was about to help May get out of the swan boat, but without warning, the seat belts strapped both May and Drew into the boat. The lights then turned on out of the blue and then the boat started to move.
The lights came on, and music started to play. The song itself was easily recognizable: Ashley Tisdale's "Kiss The Girl".
'Oh, crap, I know this song…' Drew thought.
"Kiss the girl (kiss the girl)"
Drew looked over to May, who heard the song, and went red in the face.
"There you see her. Sitting there, across the way."
May turned away, the situation getting awkward; Drew was feeling the same way. Drew looked at May, but she was not saying anything. Seeing her silent and tense, Drew knew that she was not about to tell him anything.
"She don't got a lot to say, but there's something about her."
As the ride kept going, the atmosphere was getting more romantic within the duo. May looked at Drew with her blue eyes, filled with concern and confusion; Drew's green eyes were also sparkling with love.
"And you don't know why, but you're dying to try, you wanna kiss the girl."
May then looked away, feeling a little embarrassed. Drew took May by the shoulder, and turned her around to face him, and he was blushing, red in the face, while the look on his face was embarrassed, which was obvious.
"Yes, you want her. Look at her, you know you do."
May was looking at him with a shine in her eyes and she cracked a small smile with a blush, and Drew got motivated to move in for a kiss.
"It's possible she wants you, too. There is one way to ask her."
Drew started to move in and kiss May, but she was not saying anything to get him to stop. Drew started to pucker up subtly, but May did not notice this, as she blushed even deeper.
"It don't take a word. Not a single word, go on and kiss the girl (Kiss the girl)!"
Drew backed off all of a sudden, out of embarrassment; he felt really freaked out about trying to kiss May. He was intimidated. May noticed this, and she pouted, as she turned away, upset.
"Shalalalala, my oh my, looks like the boy's too shy, ain't gonna kiss the girl!"
Drew face-palmed himself as he looked and saw May, really sad, as she turned away, her hands rubbing her shoulders sadly.
"Shalalalala, ain't that sad? It's such a shame, too bad."
Drew groaned quietly as he tried to make sure to get a kiss. He took out a breath mind and ate it before turning to May to try again. He put his arm around May's shoulder, but she still refused to say anything.
"You're gonna miss the girl. Go on and kiss the girl (Kiss the girl)"
Drew was about to make conversation, but soon, the Swanna boat made it to a makeshift lake in another part of the tunnel. Drew sweat dropped at how aptly-timed the scene change was.
"Now's your moment. Floating in a blue lagoon."
Drew took another breath check before eating a few more breath mints and doing a body odor check before he began to make his next move to try kissing May once again.
"Boy, you'd better do it soon, no time will be better."
Drew then turned to May, who was still not saying anything; she felt a little uncomfortable about the situation. Drew coughed in his hand to try getting to May's attention. Drew then leaned in to try kissing May once again, and May mirrored this behavior, about to kiss Drew, as well.
"She don't say a word, and she won't say a word until you kiss the girl (Kiss the girl)."
Drew's conscience then overtook him once again, and he backed off from the kiss once more. He was not very happy about it, either. He groaned and grit his teeth out of embarrassment and he felt frustrated from not being able to kiss May once again.
"Shalalalala, my oh my, looks like the boy's too shy, ain't gonna kiss the girl!"
May was about to cry as Drew was frustrated with himself about no kiss. He tried to calm down and he felt really concerned that he would not be able to kiss May at all.
"Shalalalala, ain't that sad, it's such a shame, too bad, you're gonna miss the girl!"
Drew then shook his head and then his facial expression became determined and he was prepared to kiss May with all of his might. He turned back to May and looked at her with determination and passion in his eyes.
"Shalalalala, don't be scared, you'd better be prepared, go on and kiss the girl!"
Drew leaned in and did not stop this time. He tried to show May how much he loved her no matter how embarrassed he was. His dream to kiss May was about to to come true, and he was not about to stop.
"Shalalalala, don't stop now, don't try to hide it, how!"
Drew leaned in closer and was slowly starting to pucker up, as was May. He was not about to stop any time soon, and he felt really passionate about the kiss.
"You wanna kiss the girl… Go on and kiss the girl… (Kiss the girl. Oh… Kiss the girl, kiss the girl)… Lalalala, lalalala, go on and kiss the girl. Lalalala, lalalala, go on and kiss the girl."
Drew was leaning in closer, and May was relaxing, as both teenagers were about to pucker up and share a kiss. Drew snaked his hands onto May's shoulders, and May felt better about it.
"Shalalalala, my oh my, looks like the boy's too shy, ain't gonna kiss the girl. Shalalalala, ain't that sad? It's such a shame too bad, you're gonna miss the girl!"
However, Drew stopped for a second, pondering over whether or not May would like the kiss, but May was worried Drew would chicken out again.
"Lalalala, lalalala (go on and kiss the girl), go on and kiss that girl! Lalalala, lalalala, go on and kiss the girl!"
Drew refused to chicken out again, and let the pressure of the moment keep him from stoping right where he was. He kept going, and they were so close to each other. Drew would not stop from there, he would not let up any more. No more playing coward, he decided.
"Go on and kiss the girl… Kiss the girl (kiss the girl)… Go on and kiss the girl."
Drew and May finally locked lips with each other and the moment was so magical… Both were blushing, their lips together, Drew holding May by the shoulders, May relaxing with Drew in such close proximity. They were in heaven...
Only problem was, the ride was over, and soon, Drew and May found themselves face to face with the manager of the park.
"Um… Did we do something wrong?" May asked, as they broke the kiss.
"The ride is broken," The manager said. "It seems like you two didn't notice. Some of the plumbing was broken in the middle of the construction. That lake in the middle of the ride was the result of a pipe leak. I'm gonna have to ask you to get off the ride."
"We're… Sorry…" Drew said, as he took May's hand and then he led May off the boat.
They left the area, and then the park, both relieving the kiss, and then they looked at each other, before blurting out to each other, "I love you!"
Both teenagers blushed, and then Drew hugged May, saying, "I thought I'd never hear you tell me that."
May blushed and then she relaxed, before kissing Drew on the cheek.
May and Drew then left to go for an actual date between the two of them.
"I really think that next time we go on a date, it should be somewhere other than the amusement park." May said.
"I agree with you… Ma cheri." Drew said, blushing at the last two words.
May blushed and then she and Drew kissed once more.
I think that's the best I can do for this one… Sorry if it was too short, and like the last one, I was winging it. Sorry… I also hope that I can get some help for some more ideas. Hope you guys can provide me with some inspiration. Um, please…?
In all honesty, the only thing I can think up is a chapter based on the episode "Really Scent" - yes, another Pepe Le Pew cartoon…
