Aye. Do me a favor and review, favorite and follow if you don't mind. That would make me particularly happy. If you don review why don't you answer a couple of the questions that I have at the bottom. un-beta'd.

Jace

"Jace did you have to hit her so hard?" Magnus asked from the front seat.

"In my defense she did hit me first. She busted my freaking lip dude." I responded while looking out the window.

She hit me first, did she really think I wouldn't hit her back?

Isabelle ran her hand across Poppy's cheek where a faint bruise was beginning to form.

"Well you did do a number on her face. She might hit you again dude, maybe knock some sense into you." Isabelle said pushing my shoulder playfully.

Kaelie sat in the back with her arms crossed over her chest. She was obviously pissed off but I couldn't figure out why. The same thing happened with her except I didn't ask her (or make her) come. She just begged till I couldn't take it anymore and had no choice but to take her with me.

The car came to a stop on the bumpy driveway leading to the house that would be considered home for the next year or so.

"Home sweet home." Magnus said before kissing Alec on the cheek and sliding out of the car, moving towards the trunk to get the bags. They're really sickening.

"Alright Pop, up we go." I said propping her on my shoulder to get out of the car. An angry Kaelie purposefully bumped my shoulder before stomping into the house, slamming the front door.

"Please let me kill her. They called off the search because everyone thinks she dead anyway. She won't even be missed!" Isabelle begged with a look of excitement in her eye. I turned around quickly accidentally slamming the car door shut with Poppy's head.

"Oh shit." I muttered, making sure there wasn't a dent on the door.

"Dammit! I think if the punch didn't kill her that shot to the back of the head probably did." Isabelle said.

"Isabelle how many times have I told you? We steal we don't kill." I said. My palms were beginning to sweat with the memory forming in the back of my head.

"Easy Tiger. I was only joking, well half way." Isabelle said winking and going into the house.

I brought up the rear, after Magnus and Alec.

"We have one more room; it's across from Isabelle's." Magnus said nodding his head toward the room.

I nodded taking her to the upstairs bedroom and placing her on the bed. The bruise on her face was now a dark shade of purple- almost black really. I was too nervous to feel the lump that was probably on the back of her head.

Even though I would love to be here when she comes to, the guys and I still had business to attend to.

I made my way out of the room, locking the door behind me and hopping to God that she is calm when she wakes up.

I walked down the stairs into the living room thinking that we could put everything else behind us and address the matter at hand.

"Someone just couldn't leave Little Miss Poppy alone." Magnus started as soon as I walked in the room.

"Are we ready to count and separate? It is your job you know." I said to Magnus, he's a money launderer turned bank robber; we meet him when we were still into petty crimes. We put him through the disappearing process and gave him a spot on the team- well he took a spot on the team.

"Oh my dearest apologies sweetheart. Do you want me to pour you a drink? Why don't you prop your feet up while I massage your shoulders. If you're lucky I may be able to arrange a blow job." Magnus said while picking up one of the two black duffel bags that was at his feet

Before I could respond Alec pushed pass me to kissed Magnus on the cheek "Mag try not to get upset. I know Jace is an asshole and you know Jace is an asshole so this whole argument is just a waste of your time and energy."

"How come I always get blamed every time Magnus decided to go off on me? I am a very likeable person if you haven't noticed, and I would like to again point out that she hit me first!" I said sitting next to Alec who had begun sorting through the bills before handing them to Magnus.

"Jace you sound like a jackass when you say that." Isabelle asked as she came in the room.

"She's a little thing you need to be careful be careful or you'll send her into a shock of some kind." Magnus said

"Did you at least check and see if the poor girls still breathing? If not I know some people who can take care of a body." Isabelle said licking her thumb and counting the bills.

"I think she's breathing, I didn't hit her hard enough for her not to be. You guys should have a little more faith in me." I said, finally getting annoyed with the situation. "I brought her here, she's locked in the upstairs room, and now it's over. Now leave it alone."

"At least let me go check on her." Magnus said holding his hand out to me for key. I let out a heavy sigh before pulling the chain over my head and handing it over.

"Try not to talk too much. Don't want to freak her out." I said as he stepped over me, heading up stairs

"Justin case because being kidnapped after a bank robbery didn't freak her out enough." Mag said rolling his eyes.

I ignored that comment and got back to more pressing matters.

"Alec I need you to clean her up if you don't mind."

Magnus

When I walked in the room the shower was running. I had no idea what to expect when I walked in the room, but one thing I certainly didn't expect was a black wig to be sitting on the bed. I knew her hair wasn't natural but I had no idea it was a full-out wig. I shut and locked the door before grabbing the wig and sitting in the chair across from the bed and waited patiently for her to come out.

I tried to think of what her natural hair color could be. If she was blonde she would be washed out. Well she might actually have dark hair- but then what would be the point of the wig? I asked myself.

The shower finally stopped and at that point I was beginning to get antsy. I never liked not knowing things; I've been that way since I was a child.

When she opened the door we just stared at each other with wide eyes. She looked down at the wig then back to me, while I looked at her fiery red hair and green eyes, trying to find something to say to her. For once I'm speechless.

"So you're the infamous Clarissa Morgenstern.I'm Magnus first of all. Your family is apparently a legend of some-'

"Do not speak of my family. Are you going to give that back to me?" She asked motioning the wig that was on my lap. I picked it up and tossed it to her,

"I don't understand why you have to wear it." I said shrugging my shoulder.

"I figured you would know that seeing as though Alec is so obsessed with my family." She said sitting in front of the mirror of the vanity. She comb through her hair with her fingers,

"My brother and I lost our parents right in front of us. It wasn't an accident, whoever did this was hopping to take out the family but they settled with my parents for the time being. The day they died they knew it was coming so they couldn't take me and my brother out to do their rounds. The house was shot up and my parents were killed before they could go out. We could have lived normal lives if it weren't for the fact that we were already marked, so we had to be put in protective services. I haven't seen my brother in four years." She said letting out a shaky breath and tying her hair into a bun.

"What do you mean marked?" I asked, watching her put her wig back on.

"Inappropriately high on my inner thigh is the Morgenstern Crest, a crown with three stars alone the bottom. My mother use to say no one would find out unless I was doing something I had no business doing."

"When are you going to tell Jace?" I asked standing and preparing the leave, she looked at me like I slapped her in the face.

"Jace? I don't have to tell Jace a damn thing. He kidnapped me. I was just minding my damn business standing in a bank. It's not enough that the bank was wiped out and I couldn't get my check cashed but then he has the nerve to hit me in the face. This bruise is going to be here for weeks! I realize I hit him first but I didn't knock him out! He's lucky I don't castrate him!" She said. I thought her head was going to start spinning around.

"I don't know what possessed Jace to bring you here, but you have to know since he took the time, he won't let you go so easy."

"What does he expect me to do here?" she asks throwing her hands in the air exasperated.

"I haven't the slightest clue; you'll probably have to ask him about that. You know he'll be up here to check on you a little later." I said moving towards the door.

"Wait, I don't think I can take being in the room any longer." She said dropping her towel, slipping back into her cloths.

"Well your secrets safe with me. But, I 'm going to have to tell Alec, we don't keep secrets from each other." I said opening the door so I could follow her out.

"Well now that you know. Can I ask you something?" she said, turning to me running her hands through her 'hair'.

"Of course, dear."

"Is my wig straight?" she asked, insecurity in her eyes and curiosity in her voice. I shook my head slightly before leading her back down the stairs and into the living room.

Poppy

It felt good to finally tell someone about what was going on in my life. I'm a couple of weeks from being twenty-one so I'm about to be on my own. It's been long enough that I'm sure they've called the search off.

"Jace, you sure do have a special way of pissing people off." Magnus said when he walked in the room.

"Well you know it is my speac-' he stopped speaking when I walked into the room, his eyes lingered on the dark mark on my face.

Looking around I realized this was the same group the bar.

"Hey asshole, feel like explaining why there is a knot the size of Texas on the back of my head?" I said crossing my arms over my chest.

He dropped the stack of cash he had in his hand and stood, walking to me attempting to touch my head.

I slapped his hand away.

"Don't fucking touch me." I said through my teeth.

"You were being extremely difficult and I had to do what I had to do and you were holding up the job, we had a time limit and you were pushing it." he said crossing his arms over his chest.

"I didn't ask you to bring me here, buddy." I said poking him in the chest.

"Then why don't you just leave?" a nasally voice said behind me.

Before I could actually comprehend what I was doing I had her by her throat and pushed up against the wall.

She struggled against me with fear prickling in her eyes. "You do not want to try me sweetie. I will rip you apart limb by limb and bury you in various parts of the country. I don't know what your problem is with me but get over it now because I do give even a fraction of a damn. Get over yourself." I said pushing of the wall, using her throat as leverage.

I turned around, nose to chest with the dark-haired girl who was before sitting on the other side of my room.

She holds her hand out to me "Hi I'm Isabelle and I think we are going to be best friends." She laughed nodding towards the blonds that was still clutching the wall for dear life. I shook her hand once before turning back to Jace.

"I would like to go home." I said crossing my arms over my chest. Everyone in the room stiffened slightly while Jace became tense.

"Complications are going to make that difficult. For one you've seen my face and for two you're family probably has an Amber Alert out on you, we can't risk that." He said in a calm voice.

"I don't have a family and I don't have any friends so I think I'll be okay." I said making my way towards the front door.

Saying I didn't have a family burned my tongue and left a nauseating feeling in my stomach.

I have a family. One that I know is still looking for me.

I was able to open it a crack before his large hand whipped passed mine, slamming the door before I could get out of it,

"Okay obviously you didn't understand. You can't leave." He whispered into my ear. I whipped around to see that he was closer than expected.

"I understand what you said; I just thought that me doing the opposite would make you understand that I don't give a fuck."

What made me think dealing with her would be easy?

"If you won't let me go home then at least let me go to the store." She said crossing her arms over her chest.

Such a nice chest.

I sighed out deeply, already knowing this would be a bad idea.

"Fine. Isabelle go with her- to make sure she comes back." I said looking over my shoulder at Isabelle.

"I do not need a baby sitter. If I say I'm going to come back I'll come back!" I could see the fire in her eyes.

"Pop, I have some shopping to do so it's more like a little girl time." She said getting her purse out of the closet that was next to the door.

"Well if it's a group thing I do have a list of things I need. Alec doesn't like shopping with me." he said making his way to us.

"Do whatever you want, as long as you bring her back." He said walking away from me and back to the sofa.

Magnus hooked arms with me before the three of us walked out the front door together.

I small part of me felt happy.

I've never really had friends before.

Jace

I watched as she walked out of the door. Something about her has nagged, me ever since she told me off in the car.

"Jace you can put your eyes back in your head now- she's gone." Alec said with an annoying smirk on his face.

"Shut up Alec, no one asked for your opinion." I said rolling my eyes and walking up stairs, towards my bedroom.

Magnus would probably consider it storming out- but whatever.

Something about her just seemed so familiar.

I dismissed the thought, and went into my room shutting and locking the door behind me.

I turned around to find, Kaelie siting crossed legged on my bed with a deep scowl on her face.

"Jace what the fuck are you doing?" she asked through clenched teeth,

"Breathing, blinking, wondering why you're in my fucking room; you know the usual." I said, walking towards my bathroom.

"You know what I mean Jace. Why the hell did you bring her here!" she yelled, running into the bathroom after me.

"I don't know, maybe the same reason I brought you here, because I could and because I felt like it."

She grabbed me by my shoulder, roughly turning me around to face her

"Jace, I have a bad feeling about her; I think she's going to fuck us over!" she said, digging her nails into my arm.

I grabbed my hair in frustration "Kaelie I am not doing this with you. I just want to take a shower and figure something's out."

Her eyes light up, a small smile played at one corner of her mouth

"Do you need any help with that?" she asked, hooking her fingers through the loops of my pants.

I rolled my eyes and moved her hands away from me,

"How many times have been over this one Kaelie?"

"This would be over if you would stop lying to yourself; you know you want this just as much as I do." she said, her fingers started to run across my chest.

I grabbed her hand from my chest, and the other one that was hooked through the loop of my jeans

"Kaelie, if I wanted it I could have it. Now get out of here, don't you have anything better to do?" I said, pushing pass her and walking towards my closet.

She stomped after me "Jace why are you doing this to me?" she was becoming more whiney than usual. I turned to face her,

"Kaelie, you're doing this to yourself. I've told you for at least two months, that it's over. You just won't take no for an answer." I turned and started unbuttoning my jeans, so I can wash them later.

"This isn't over Jace. You know you're just gonna come back, like you always do." she said, crossing her arms over her chest, a smirk of determination, painted on her face.

"You are free to have whatever dumb-ass opinion you want. You know where the door is Kaelie." I sighed out, pushing pass her towards the bathroom again.

I didn't wait to see if she left or not, I stripped from the rest of my cloths, and jumped in the shower, turning the water on as hot as I could stand.

In the shower my thoughts were filled with thoughts of Poppy- and not in the good way.

When I couldn't take it anymore I cut the shower short, snatched a towel around my waist and made my way to Alec and Magnus's room.

"Alec, do me a favor." I said as soon as I walked in.

"Is knocking against your religion or something?" Alec asked with his back still turned to me.

"Alec, make some calls, talk to your friends figure out who she is get me what you know on this girl; something's, just not right about her." I said, recounting everything that had happened between us since we met.

"What do you mean?" He asked, spinning around to face me, taking a sip out of his cup and walking towards his computer.

"She doesn't even seem fazed by any of this." I motioned hoping he could understand what I was trying to say.

"Are you wondering why she isn't fazed by this-' he motioned around himself in the same manner I did '-or why she isn't fazed by you." He pointed towards me.

"Alec just do it will you? Shesh!" I whined.

Something wasn't sitting right with me.

Is anyone confused?

Well if you haven't already figured it out, the bank robbers are Alec, Magnus, Kaelie, Isabelle and Jace- the same group from the club. Poppy is actually Clarissa who is under Protective Services. She and her brother are two years a part, she was sixteen when her parents were killed. Now she's twenty and her brother is twenty-two.
