"And here I thought we were going to be one big happy family, I guess I was mistaken." Douglas states with no emotion.

"You're sick." I spat, disgusted with the man that raised me.

He shrugs his shoulders, "I've been called worse."

I feel my anger rising with his indifference.

Before I could do something I would regret Chase says, "Just give us Adam and we wont hurt you."

He's bluffing.

"You and what army?" Douglas called his bluff.

I place Caitlin on the ground and Bree hovers over her, probably feeling useless and worried without her bionics.

"We don't need an army to take a sick old man." I state.

"I'm not old." Douglas whines.

He then composes himself, "I finished the trident app and was just about to field test it, care to join me?" Douglas asks with an evil smile suggesting we're the field test. It also means that Adam is now just a mindless bionic waiting to attack us.

"Why don't you guys meet the new and improved Adam?" Douglas says as one of his robots open the door to Adams cell.

Adam walks out, but he's not the same. He lacks the goofy smile, carefree attitude, and the childlike innocence. Instead he walks with confidence and his eyes are void of any emotion. He looks ready to kill, and we're the victims.

"Adam!" Bree sounds relieved to see her brother, but no one else greets him.

"Bree that's not Adam." Chase says. Calm, cool, and collected like always.

"He's being controlled by Douglas." I fill in before she asks.

"Now that the family's reunited, lets get started shall we?" Douglas asks, none of us answer preparing to fight for our freedom.

Not a moment after Adam runs toward us and punches me in the face, I tried to block him but without my bionics I wasn't strong enough. The momentum of the hit threw me into the wall, and I hear plaster crack behind me. It takes a second for me to comprehend what's happening, Bree is protecting Caitlin from robots, Chase is fighting off other robots, Maya is just standing in shock, Douglas is smirking, and Adam is heading straight for me. I see his eyes turn red meaning he's going to shoot lasers at me.

I scramble up the wall, ungracefully, but I'm fighting for my life. Anyway I dodge his attack just in time for the wall behind me to get the full brunt of it. I run toward Adam and dodge his attacks so I can jump on his back to put him in a headlock.

I succeed and disable him. I don't know what to do from there, but luckily the cavalry arrives. It looks like Chase got my message hidden in my chip to contact Donald.

I see police and Donald rushing in, Robots turning to fight them, and Douglas running away but not before he gets his revenge by throwing a knife at me.

I feel it enter under my third rib on my right side, causing me to gasp in pain and fall off of Adam onto the floor. I hit hard and blood starts pouring out of me.

The next thing I know Chase disables Adams trident app discreetly so the police wont know about their bionics, Bree is hovering over Caitlin, and Maya is holding my left hand telling me that I'll be alright.

Once Adams, well Adam again, Chase rushes over to me while screaming for help. I'm starting to see black spots in my vision and my breathing becomes shallow.

"Can't we give him what he gave you earlier?" Maya asks, squeezing my hand reassuringly.

Before Chase could answer I say, "He can't without exposing his bionics." I then start to cough violently because of the fluid entering my lungs.

I hear people running over to us. "Chase make sure you get your chip back before they bring me to the hospital." Blood is flowing freely from my wound and mouth.

Chase nods getting my message before they are both pulled out of the way as paramedics try to save me. I see Chase and Maya being held off to the side by police, Adam dazed as Donald talks to him, and Bree is standing by Caitlin as she gets help from paramedics.

Brees eyes connect with mine, and I see worry in her eyes, before unconsciousness takes me. The last thing I see is a tear flow from her eye before blackness takes over.

A/N Hope this wasn't to graphic for K+, if it is can someone please tell me so I can bump up the rating. Also I'm not sure if I got the medical stuff right.

Don't worry this isn't the last chapter, one more to go and a possible epilogue.

AwesomeWriter2013: Thanks for the magnificent review! Don't worry it took Chase (self proclaimed smartest man alive) awhile to understand too, but basically Marcus was telling Chase to switch chips with him so he could contact Donald under Douglas' nose and so he could have bionics.
