Chapter 8
A/N I am soooooo sorry about not updating in 3 months I do apologize to all my faithful readers. Anyway here we go.
"Will someone please tell me what is going on!" shouted a very unhappy Caroline. Milly and Dewey were too caught up with trying to figure out what to do. Well Dewey anyway Milly just wouldn't stop circling Caroline.
"Yes please tell us what's going on here." Tavin who was getting fed up with what seemed to be stalling that he was about to burst. Dewey finally turned to face the two young pixies.
"Well you see as you know there are some fairies who are born of the same laugh."
"Like Tink and Peri." Tavin said.
"Precisely. Well Tink and Peri were born of the same laugh but came on different cotton puff seeds. Well in a rare case that has happened recently two fairies born of the same laugh came in on the same leaf. You see the leaf landed in the middle of the border then broke. Thus these two fairies are identical. Though they have no wings it is thought that the leaf breaking is the cause of this." Caroline stood up and walked over to where Milly stood by Dewey's side.
"So you mean to tell me Milly here is my sister. How can that be? I'm an Autumn fairy and she's a Winter fairy."
"As I said the leaf landed on the border. We believe that's why."
"Ok so do we have a way to know for sure or do we just have to take your word?"
"There is a way. Come. Stand on this ice." They both did so and the ice began to rise. It ascended to the aurora at the ceiling. "Now all you have to do is place your win- Oh right um. Place your hand in the aurora." They did so and a scene began to play. It started split and the two were seeing to different images. They were both arrival days but Milly saw a sparrow man and Caroline a fairy. They saw the two pixies age and then eventually meet. They saw them dance and fall in love. They saw the sparrowman's wing break and the two separated. They saw above them as they separated, two humans. The humans fell in love just as the pixies did. It showed the humans having a baby and the baby laughing sending a leaf flying towards the second star. They saw the humans again and they morphed into the two pixies. They again saw the leaf and it landed on the border, two pixies stepped forward, Caroline recognized Tavin. Just as they were about to pour the dust the leaf shook and broke. Then it shifted to split again and each fairy saw their arrival day and heard the gasps once again as people saw they had no wings. The images stopped. The ice floated back down and they were confronted by Dewey. "There you have it. It is said when the humans whose laughs created a fairy or sparrowman that the baby of theirs which produces a fairy means that that pixie or sparrowman is the new arrivals parent. I mean that's how it happened with Terence and Fairy Gary. And that's what happened with you two girls and-"
"Queen Clarion and Lord Milori!" the two girls exclaimed. Dewey nodded. Tavin stood wide eyed.
"And that's what happened with Tavin here and Tink and Terence." Replied Dewey.
"Wait what!?" exclaimed Tavin.
