so...like i said...i am on summer break so my updates won't be as often but i will try to updat at least once a month at least until school starts in August. on Thursday i will be going to New York so i don't know if i will be able to update but like i said i will try!
these next chapters are kinda based off of the song "Kimi to Kare to Boku to Kanojo to" (Fairy Tail ending 15)

Lucy's POV:

"Hey Lucy, can I borrow Natsu for a moment?" I want to talk to him for a minute…alone." I looked up and saw Lisanna.

"Sure go ahead." I said.

"Just talk to him, he'll probably understand." Natsu said before following Lisanna outside. When he left I started to think about the conversation we just had.

*flash back*

I was sitting at the bar when Natsu came up to me.

"Hey Lucy." He greeted.

"Hey Natsu. What's up?" I asked.

"Well…I was wondering if I could ask you something." He said.

"Of course you can!" I said.

"Well I was wondering how I could break up with Lisanna without hurting her feelings too much." He stated. I just blankly stared at him. "Hello…earth to Lucy." He waved his hand in front of my face.

"Oh…sorry Natsu…but wouldn't this be a better question for Mira?" I asked.

"Yeah but if I ask her she'll wonder why and if I tell her why she's gonna flip…plus it's her sister so I don't want to ask her…" He explained.

"Oh…well…if you don't mind…can I ask why you want to break up with her…I mean you both seem so happy." I asked.

"You see…I think we just fell in love with the memories of our childhood. I don't think I actually like her that way anymore." He explained.

"Hmmm…well just talk to her and explain just that. Tell her you only fell in love with the memories. I mean she's nice. She'll understand, trust me." I said.

"Your right…I'll try that." He said.

"Now how do I put this with Leo." I mumbled but thanks to his dragon hearing he heard it.

"Huh? What do you mean?" He asked.

"Well you see…I don't think I like Leo as much as I thought I did." I explained.

"Well why did you think you liked him?" He asked once again.

"Umm…well…" I started. 'I don't want to tell him that it's because Leo reminded me of him.' I thought. "Let's just say I liked someone before but before I could tell them I had to leave for camp and when I met Leo he reminded me of that person." I said.

"Can I ask who that person is?" He asked again but this time in a playful manner.

"You can ask but I won't answer." I said in the same manner.

"Aw c'mon Lucy…please…I won't tell anyone?" He whined.

"Nope! You'll find out sooner or later anyway." I said. "Back to the topic…how am I supposed to explain that to him?"

*end of flash back*

And that was when Lisanna came.

I was looking around the guild for Leo and I found him in a corner by himself.

"Hey Leo." I said but he didn't answer. "Hello…earth to Leo." I waved my hand in front of him.

"Oh hey Lucy, what's up?" He asked.

"Can I talk to you in private?" I asked. He nodded and followed me to the infirmary which was surprisingly empty.

Leo's POV:

I walked into the infirmary with Lucy and sat in one of the chairs while Lucy sat on one of the beds.

'I guess it's now or never' I thought. "Listen Lucy-" I started but she cut me off.

"Before you say anything I want to say this," she paused and took a deep breath. "I think we should break up."

I just stared at her with a blank face.

"Now don't get the wrong idea, I still like you but not that way." She tried her best explaining.

"Haha…haha…hahahahahahahaha!" I started laughing while Lucy just looked at me like I was crazy.

"I just said we're breaking up and you're laughing. This isn't a joke you know." She said.

"Haha…I know it's just that…I was gonna say the same thing…I just wouldn't have said it so bluntly." I said calming down.

"So friends then." She asked.

"Friends." I said. "Now you can finally have your chance with Natsu."

She blushed 50 shades of red and started to stutter, "W-what do y-you m-mean by t-that?"

"You know exactly what I mean." I said smirking. "You think I didn't notice how you looked at him? Plus I have a feeling that he might return the feelings you have."

"I don't know what you're talking about." She said. Then she walked out the door, face still red.
