Ember is kicked out of her twoleg home, she is forced to live in the wild. She meets a handsome tom that teaches her how to hunt and fight. But he is dead, in StarClan. Only their love can make him come back to the living.

2. Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

"Lily, have you ever thought about, um, living in the forest." Ember asked her friend quietly.

"Uh, no way. Why do you ask?" Lily answered.

"Well uh, tell my mother that I'll be gone tomorrow. Don't look for me, I'll be fine." Ember mewed bravely.

"Well, okay. I guess so, where are you going? And when are you going to be back?" Lily's dappled gray pelt shone in the sun.

"I'm just going to the forest, and I won't be back." Ember whispered.

"What?" Lily yelled. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, and stop freaking out. I'll be fine." She turned around to look back at her Twoleg house. "I'll go tomorrow, say that the Twoleg kicked me out." She meowed.

"I don't like lying, you know that. But sure, I will, just for you." She looked a little tired now.
