ok so i know i said i'd update the same day or the day after the last time i updated but well i was busy packing to go to New York. and since it's summer i'm kinda busy so i can't update as much...but i'll try to when i can.

Lucy's POV:

After I walked out of the room, with my face still red, Lisanna ran up to me and said, "He's all yours now."

"What are you talking about?" I asked

"Well I know you still like Natsu, and I know that you just broke up with Leo, and I just broke up with Natsu so this is gonna be a whole lot easier…" She rambled on but I interrupted her.

"I still don't get what you're trying to say Lisanna…"

"I'm saying Natsu said he wanted you to meet you by 'The Tree'. He said you'd know what he means. I may not know but I get the feeling he's gonna confess so be ready!" She said squealing at the end. Then she ran off.

'Is Natsu really gonna confess? If he is I better go now.' I thought then ran out of the guild towards the tree.

Natsu's POV:

'Calm down. There's nothing to be worried about. No need to be so nervous.' I repeated over and over again in my head. Ah who am I kidding? I'm nervous as hell. I mean, c'mon who wouldn't be? I've decided since Lucy is leaving tomorrow, I'm gonna tell her how I feel before she leaves.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard someone call my name. "Natsu!" I turned to see Lucy running towards me.

"Hey there Lucy…did you run here?" I asked looking at her panting figure.

"Umm yeah…I didn't want to keep you waiting." She said. "So what did you to tell me?"

"Yeah…well…umm…I…umm…" I stuttered.

"Just say it Natsu, its okay." Lucy said with a cute/innocent look. Talk about making things harder.

"Right…well umm…what I wanted to say was…that…Ireallyloveyou!" I said really fast.

She looked shocked and just stood there.

"You know…nevermi-"I was interrupted when Lucy hugged me and we fell to the ground.

"I love you too Natsu." She said into my chest. It was muffled so I wanted to make sure I was right.

"What was that?" I asked as we both sat up.

"You're not getting me to say that again you know." She said.

"No really Lucy…I didn't hear you. Your voice was kinda muffled." I said.

"Still nope." She said

"Oh c'mon Lucy, please?" I pleaded. She just shook her head. "Fine…" I pouted but it turned into a smirk as I got an idea.

"What's with that smirk of yours?" Lucy asked

Instead of answering her I kissed her. When we broke she had a really red face that I was trying not to laugh at. I leaned in close to her ear and whispered, "I really do love you Lucy."

"I love you too Natsu." She whispered into my ear.

I smiled and helped her off the ground as we walked back to the guild hand-in-hand.

"I just have one question though." She said as we walked.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Why now, on the day that I have to leave, why now." She asked.

"Because I wanted to get it off my chest." I said. "And to make sure nobody takes you away again" I muttered quietly but she still heard and started to giggle.

She hugged me and said, "Nobody is gonna take me away Natsu. Besides, what makes you think that I would do that, I mean if I liked you so much I wouldn't just date anybody. It had to be either someone who reminded me of you way too much or…" she paused a bit. "You yourself." She finished.

"Well I'm glad." I said kissing her once again. Then we walked back to the guild, still holding hands.
