Once Ikki finished tending to the girls wounds they thanked him and tried to walk away.
"Ikki's nice but he's so... weird." Lisanna thought. Ikki took a swig from his canteen and called after the two girls.
"Where do you two think your going? Gonna leave me behind?" he said jokingly. His face turned serious and both of the girls stopped dead in their tracks. Ikki had appeared right behind them. "You two hate me..." The man weeped. Lucy rolled her eyes and continued on walking with Lisanna in tow. "Fine then it's settled I'll come with you." he beamed.
By the time the group had returned to town the sun had set. They walked down the poorly lit streets trying to find an inn or tavern to stay at for the night. All of the windows were dark. The entire town seemed to have shut down. Once they reached the last street they saw a seedy looking tavern. The night air caused the temperature to drop. The three travelers, , tired and frozen, walked into the bar.
Hardened faces of sailors and criminals met them as they walked in. Not a smile or hello, they were greeted instead with intense glares of lust and contempt.
They walked up to they bar quickly and got a room, Ikki decided to stay and have a drink.
The girls both fell into a deep sleep.
Chained to a cross Mira opened her eyes, her vision was blurred. The room was poorly lit etaking it even more difficult to see. Her arms were completely numb from the chains constricting her circulation. Her body heaved with tension, what she wanted most was to be cut down.
Searching her memory she tried to think of where she was. The last thing she remembered was her attacker. The bruise that his punch left still ached. After what seemed to be an hour, the man guarding the room opened the door and walked out. A minute later Mira's attacker entered the room, her body grew rigid with fear.
He faced her and opened his hand, a seal appeared and Mira flinched expecting the worse. The chains disappeared and she fell to the ground.
She looked up at the man in the black cloak realizing it was a different person all together. They extended a hand down towards Mira, she grabbed the hand and tried to stand. Her legs couldn't support her own weight. She tried three times before getting frustrated and crying. The cloaked figure, touched her calf with three cool fingers. They muttered three words in an unknown language and Mira felt a shot of pain run from her heel to her neck.
Mira attempted to stand again and was able to with ease. "How did you do that and who are you?" Mira questioned. The figure didn't respond but mearly grabbed her arm and led her to the door, he broke the magic seal and led her through. Once in the hallway they broke into a run stopping at every corner to check the safety of the hallway. Only once did they run into guards but they avoided them by hiding in a storage closet. Once they reached the last door the cloaked man threw a grenade behind them and opened the door.
The outside was beautiful, multiple floating islands under a red sky, grass greener than any she had ever seen, the building that was dark and evil on the inside was a lavish white marble on the out.
It was different than anything that the girl had ever seen. The man ushered her down through the yard in front of the prison. The tried to mve quickly but Mira was still walking awkwardly. After making it halfway across the field two magic powered automobiles cut them off, Mira tried to turn but another two cars, drove up behind the two, encircling them. Mira was scared but knew that she had to put her life on the line if she wished to escape.
Her accomplice removed his hood, it was Ikki. Mira recognized his face from Diamond's description and took a deep breath for the first time in a while.
"Alright here we go!" Mira shouted, "satan soul mark two." The woman turned into her satan form with longer horns, sharp teeth and red eyes. Men funneled out of the cars carrying guns.
"Fire!" A man shouted in a captains uniform. Mira grabbed the back of Ikki's cloak, and shot up into the air with Ikki in tow. Holding on to the back of Ikki with on hand she used her other hand to create a seal, dark magic flared out of the seal and ravaged the land below destroying the cars as well as the people.
