I hate writers' block. It's hell. It's honest to God, true, utter hell, and nothing else otherwise. Piece of advice, should you ever get writers' block, talk to a writer of fanfictions, it helps. Or at least, it did with me. I talked with a friend of mine, and he said that he had a chapter idea for my story. I listened in, and now I'm taking his advice to some good heart.

Really sorry about the lack of updates, but instead of dreading over the nothingness that once again took this place over, let's review what happened last chapter. Silver and Alot began heading towards the first Emeralds' location when they ran into Dr. Eggman. Silver, using his intelligence, tricked Eggman into helping them collect the Chaos Emeralds by slowing Nega Eggman's efforts. Other than that...that's pretty much it. SEE WHAT WRITERS' BLOCK DOES TO YA?!

It took a while, but we're near the first Emerald. Me and Alot traveled for a good couple of days now, and I have to say, he can be pretty handy. He doesn't exactly eat a whole lot, and hell, he can even hunt. Though neither of us actually know how to cook. Anyways, we were heading up to a forest when Alot suddenly held out his hand to stop me. "What is it?" I asked.

"This forest is dangerous. Can't you feel it?"

Er...no, Alot. I'm afraid that my telekinesis is not some sort of "hedgy-sense." Though I can't say I haven't tried. "What do you mean? What's in there?"

"...most of the residents from Grayley know about this forest. It's something they tend to avoid. It's earned the nickname of 'The Twisted Forest.' Not only is it filled with dreadful creatures, but it's also difficult to navigate. Plenty of mapmakers and adventurers went in, but none came out. It's called Pesill Forest, officially." Alot said. Well, didn't know I had an encyclopedia for anything bad traveling with me. Big wolves, evil forests, what's next? A mysterious floating world with deserts, snow, and volcanoes?

"Is there a way around this forest to the Emerald?" I asked. Alot looked at my radar for a brief moment.

"The Emerald's on Pesill Beach. The only way to the beach is through the forest. Figures."

Well, nothing we can do about that. Me and Alot began our trek through the forest, which was really, really, really dark. Let me put it in perspective. It was 3:00 PM when we were outside the forest.

It was 3:00 AM when we went in the forest. I was using my telekinetic powers to shed some light, but it wasn't much. All I could do was illuminate my body. Even then, that took some energy to do, so I had intervals where I would just stop using it to recharge. To put it simply, dark forests suck.

The forest didn't have a path, and the radar didn't exactly show anything of the sort on its map. All we could do was keep pressing forward and hope we were going the right way. Trees were everywhere, but I couldn't here a single bird. In fact, it was hard to hear anything that wasn't the sound of our own feet shuffling. Which is...odd.

"Stop." I stopped Alot from walking. Something's up.

"What? What is it?" Alot asked.

"Listen." I clued Alot into what I was hearing.

"...dude, I don't hear anything."

"Exactly. You said this place was swarming with deadly creatures earlier, and so far, the only ones making the sound was us." I said. "Either these deadly creatures all left this forest, are incredibly silent, or all got wiped out."

I lit my hand near Alot's face to see his reaction. It looked somewhat shocked, but then turned incredibly cautious. He looked around for a bit, then grabbed my wrist. "Turn it off." I was a bit surprised, but I did what he said. "We have to move. Now."

"W-woah! HEY!" Alot, still gripping onto my wrist, started running straight forward without stopping. I won't say Alot's the fastest thing alive, but he's fast enough to make me feel like my hand was going to pop off my arm. We ran for a good five minutes, when Alot stopped dead in his tracks.

"Wh...what's wrong?" I said. "G...getting tired?"

"No...we're trapped. They found us and are now currently encircling us, as we speak."

"What do you mean? Who trapped us? Nega Eggman?"

"No, it's...SILVER! BEHIND YOU!"

I turned around, just to see a steel pipe smack me right on my head. Then everything went black.

Alright, things are going smoothly so far. I have some ideas as to what I want to do with this part of the story, and you'll definitely get to see them in due time. Major thanks to my friend for helping me with this.

Now, to clear up a few things, I'm not going by the comics. At all. I'm going strictly by the games. I would also like to say I have never played Lost World, much as I would like to. So Zavok and the Deadly Six are not going to be integrated in this story, nor in Shadow or Sonic's story. (Which will be made once I finish this story. Patience, my friends, you'll see them.)

Anyways, I should update with Chapter 8 pretty soon. Sorry for the delay, that's writers' block for you.

With all that said, I'm the Silver Keyblade, and I'll see ya next mission!
