SATQFTCE CH. 12

Right, okay, sorry about the wait. I have recently released my review of Sonic 06, which is the main thing that ate up my time. Other than that, how about we get the fanfiction back going again, eh?

Oh, yeah, he had to be back. I thought I told Eggman to stop him! Just what the hell is he doing right now?

Oh, right, the villain in front of me. Better take care of that first, otherwise things could get messy. I don't like messes, they're difficult to clean.

"Alright, question one. How did you get here without being confronted by any of the robot guards here? I'll admit, I'd take the human ones any day, but these guards are at least competent!" I said. I had both Alot and Mira beside me. They're my friends, I need to protect them from...whatever Nega Eggman's got up his sleeve.

Nega Eggman chuckled. "Oh, you impudent little hedgehog. How little you know of my vast intellect. You see, I knew of your goal to get the Chaos Emeralds since the beginning, and since they were scattered by my ancestor's little time incident, it was only a matter of time before you needed something that could get in the air. And what better place to find an aircraft carrier than Soleanna?" Damn, he got us down to a T.

"That still doesn't explain how you got in here. I've heard of Soleannan guards, and while you're from the future, you still have a spitting image of Eggman!" Alot explained.

"Heh, got yourself some friends, did you Silver?" Nega Eggman sighed. "I will certainly miss the alone times we once had. Anyways, getting in was actually quite simple. I only needed one robot, and getting behind a single one is easy. Honestly, one-man patrols, how primitive IS this city? Maybe if they had a smarter princess..." Not arguing with him there. The princess in this city isn't exactly known for her intelligence or her...deep personality.

Come to think of it, why WAS she made a princess?

"But back on topic. Once I got the robot, it was a simple process of rewiring, sending out a signal to cancel whatever signal the robot initially sent out to call for help, and then send it off to completely erase any sort of photos that they had of Ivo." Nega Eggman explained. You see, THIS is why I don't insult his brains. The guy's good on that part.

"So...what do you plan to do to us now? Kill us?" I asked.

"Well, I would have had Metal Sonic 2.0 to do that job for me, but unfortunately that bumbling fool of my grandfather seems to be getting in his way. Almost as if he was HIRED to do such a thing." He complained. So THAT'S what he was doing. Huh. Not bad. "However, I can still take you. Come on out, DARK GOLIATH!"

That's when I felt the ground rumble. Whatever was coming was coming out of the ground, and it was gigantic. Nega Eggman had somehow vanished, leaving a weird, tiny, circular device on the ground. It was a hologram projector. Damn, he was completely ready for this in every way!

But that's when the ground in front of us began to break, and Dark Goliath was free. The robotic beast had giant horns, and had it's entire face covered by a robotic looking faceplate, save it's eyes. It was muscle bounded, with a sword attached to one hand and another hand having a giant crossbow right on top of it. It took up an entire building's size, about as big as an apartment complex.

"Alright guys...you ready for some more action?" I asked.

"I've already got the plane started." Mira said. Huh. Funny how she's completely unfazed by the giant robot creature. "I've seen worse than this beauty."

Alot hopped onto the wing. "Let's take this monster down."

And then the fight began.

On a cliffhanger! Sorry, but fight scenes take me a bit to think out, and this chapter...well, it kinda came outta my head. Granted, I do think the ideas themselves are good, but...gimme time, I'll get it done. I promise. I do have a Youtube project, but it's priority isn't as high as the 06 review.
