Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans. Ever since I put up the ending I've wanted to improve it, but I never got around to it until now. So, let's try this again. Hopefully it's better.
"Dudes." Beast Boy says joyfully, overlooking the city from the tower's roof. "I'm am so glad that's over."
"Join the club." Robin chuckles. "It's tough having a teammate down."
"I thought you wanted BB back to normal 'cause Star kept fawning over him." Cyborg whispers to the detective. Robin reddens in slight embarrassment while fervently denying the accusation.
Starfire herself flutters around their heads, not having much to say but being joyful nonetheless.
Raven, on the other hand, hangs back from the group. Despite Beast Boy being more affected by Mumbo's spell, this entire fiasco was incredibly hard on her. She did have someone running around in her head for several hours after all, though it did make her find out that her powers weren't as volatile as they used to be.
She still needs to talk to Cyborg about those pictures though...
"-and then she told us a story about a beetle and a doughnut and-" Beast Boy chatters on excitedly.
"Woah, woah, woah." Cyborg says, holding up his hands. "Hold up; you mean to tell me that Happy told you a random story, inside a giant tower-shaped maze, with floating waffles?!"
"Yep!"
"I kinda wish I was there to see that..." The metallic teen laughs. "Sounds like you had one hell of a time!"
"Dude, you don't even know the half of it!, you should have seen Rude's place! It has everything you could ever want: snacks, comfy furniture, and video games!" Beast Boy recounts ecstatically.
"Nice! I kinda wish I could have gone now." Cyborg says, still grinning.
"My mind isn't some amusement park." Raven snaps, walking over to the group. "No one is going back in if I can avoid it."
"Awww..." Beast Boy whines. He gives the empath a pleading look, but she remains fixed in her decision.
"Sorry Beast Boy, but our teammate's mind isn't a place to play around in." Robin says sternly.
"But why is it so awesome then?! Why have an arcade if you don't share it!?" The changeling argues. "And Happy, Brave, and all the other are bound to get bored if they never get visitors!"
"Don't remind me." Raven mutters, massaging her temples. "They never shut up about it."
"See!"
"That doesn't mean I'm going to let you mess around in my mind!"
"No fair..."
"What? It's not like you'd want me messing around in YOUR mind."
"Actually, that might be kinda fun. Ever since I found out about Nevermore I've wondered what my mind would look like..."
"That's aside from the point!"
"Not really."
"Okay you two, cut it out." Robin says, butting in. "Have his discussion some other time, we have work to do." The detective points to his communicator, which is flashing.
A mission.
"Fine..." Beast Boy huffs. Most of the Titans run into the tower to get the T-Car and R-Cycle but Raven quickly snags the back of Beast Boy's collar before he can follow.
"Rae, we got to go." The changeling says, pointing to the door.
"I know." The empath says hurriedly, "I just need a moment with you without the others around."
"What is it?" Beast Boy asks, suspicious and curious.
The empath leans forward and gives the surprised changeling a peck on the cheek.
"That's from Affection." Raven says quickly. "Something about not mocking her appearance and giving a compliment." She gives him a hard stare. "From her, not me."
The half-demon quickly swirls about and dashes down the stairway, leaving Beast Boy on the roof.
The shapeshifter lets a grin steal over his face as he begins his own descent. "Silly Raven." He thinks happily. "I know your emoticlones are a part of you, I'm not that dumb, so a kiss from Affection is still one from you."
Happy at his deduction, but deciding not to rub it in Raven's face, Beast Boy swiftly makes his way to the garage and to his impatient teammates.
Chapter 16/epilogue complete. I hope this was better than the original ending, I was fairly disappointed with it.
