Wow two months and I haven't updated? I am so sorry. Summer just came and went so quickly, but now that school is started again I am hoping to update every couple of weeks. I know it's frustrating to not have an update to read, so I will try my best to update every other Wednesday. I hope you guys like the update! :)

Erin had trouble falling asleep. She tossed and turned for a while. Soon a nurse came in and Erin was relieved.

"I need sleeping pills." Erin was tired and annoyed.

"Sorry, we can't give those to you."

Erin was confused, "Why not?"

"We were told not to, by your boyfriend. He said you have an addiction to pills. That's why you don't have an IV."

Erin was baffled, "I don't have a boyfriend."

The nurse shrugged, "Liam, his name is Liam."

Erin was mortified, "Where is my phone?"

"Your phone? I don't know. We didn't take it away from you…it must be around her somewhere…" The nurse began to look around, getting closer to Erin.

Before Erin knew it, the nurse was coming at her with a syringe with liquid in it. Erin dodged the nurse and elbowed her in the face. The nurse fell to the ground instantly and Erin ran outside her room. There was an officer standing outside.

Erin was panting, "That nurse…she tried to drug me…she…she had a syringe. Give me your phone."

The officer handed Erin his phone and took his gun out and entered the room. Erin dialed Voight's number.

"Voight." He answered after two rings.

"Voight, it's me. I can't stay here. A nurse tried to attack me."

"Make sure that nurse is detained but keep her in your room. I'll be there in five minutes."

Erin looked at the clock hanging on the wall, it was one in the morning, "What are you doing up at one in the morning?"

Voight was silent for a minute, "I'll be there soon, Erin."

The officer came out of the room, "Detective, I can bring her down to the station once someone comes to relieve me, in order to keep an eye on you. I am so sorry…I thought she was just a normal nurse…I didn't think…"

Erin shook her head, "You didn't know, Luke. Is she detained in there? Voight is on his way. I think he will be discharging me, I cannot stay here after that." Erin tried to give the officer, Luke, a reassuring smile. It didn't really work.

"Yes, she is detained, and it looks like she has a broken nose. You got a nice punch in there huh?"

Erin smiled a real smile this time, "I hit her like my life depended on it."

Luke smiled back at her, "Detective, I'm sorry…again."

"Call me Erin." The officer nodded at her. Erin walked back into her room.

"Who are you?" She asked the nurse.

"Screw you! You broke my nose!"

"Who are you?" Erin was raising her voice.

"You don't need to know who I am, but Detective, I know who you are."

Erin took another step towards the "nurse", "Who the hell are you?!"

The nurse started to laugh at Erin, "Erin, Erin, Erin, don't you remember me?"

Erin looked at the girl harder, trying to remember where she had seen her.

"Why would you show up here again? What about your kid, Alice. Why are you back? Are you back for Liam?"

The girl, Alice shook her head, "I'm back for my revenge on you."

Erin looked at the girl, "Alice, please. You know I didn't do this to you."

Alice's face got red, "It's all you fault!" She yelled at Erin, "You…you took Liam away from me. He loved me. Then you came into our lives and ruined it. He thought you were an angel on Earth. He loved you more."

Erin shook her head, "That isn't my fault, Alice."

Before Alice could reply Voight came storming into the room. He didn't say a word to either of the ladies. He instead, unlatched the part of the handcuff that was attatching Alice to the bed and cuffed her other hand behind her back.

"You are under arrest for the attempted assult of a police officer, Erin Lindsay. You have the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one, one will be provided to you. If you decide to answer any questions now, without an attorney present, you will still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to an attorney. Knowing and understanding your rights as I have explained them to you, are you willing to answer my questions without an attorney present?"

Alice nodded her head, "I will answer your questions. I have nothing to hide."

Voight nodded his head and walked out of the room, leaving Erin and Alice alone again.

"Luke, will you make sure they are alright in there?" Voight asked the officer. Luke nodded his head and went into the room. Voight walked up to the closest nurses station.

"I want to discharge Erin Lindsay."

"She could have left at anytime, but sure, just sign these papers."

Voight was confused, "We were told she and Jay…"

Voight's voice trailed off…Jay. He took off running down the hallway into Jay's room. Jay wasn't there.

"Where the hell did he go?" Voight screamed to no one in particular.

A few nurses came running down the hallway and Erin stepped out of her room, "Voight what's wrong?"

"Halstead…he's gone."

Erin rushed back into her room to talk to Alice, "Where is he?" She screamed.

Alice smiled at her, "If Liam still loved you, maybe he wouldn't have taken Jay."

Erin shook her head, "Where the hell is he?!" She screamed even louder.

"Liam has come and gone with Jay. I was supposed to take you too. But things didn't work out that way. What are you willing to bargain for his life?"

Erin shook her head, "His life is not a game to me."

Alice smiled an evil grin, "You love him. You should do anything to save him."

Erin stormed out of the room, unwilling to play games.

She walked up to Voight, "You better try your hardest to find him, do you understand me?" Voight nodded.

Erin didn't want her last words with Jay to be a fight.
