Ah a new update! well, I hope you guys like this one...hope it's enough to hold you guys over for a couple of weeks...if I have the chance to write I might update next week...but the next update with happen in two weeks for sure! :) enjoy!

Erin got changed into a new set of clothes and Voight knocked on her door.

"Ready?"

Erin nodded her head and followed Voight out of the hospital into his car. Alice was sitting in the back of the car, handcuffed.

"Alice, where is Liam?" Erin repeated herself, once again, calmly.

"I already told you, I cannot reveal that information." Alice spoke calmer too.

Erin nodded her head, "The cage."

Voight looked at her out of the corner of his eye, "Erin…"

"I said, the cage. Take us to the cage."

"What is the cage?" Erin could hear the worry in Alice's voice.

"What are you willing to bargain for your life?" Erin threw Alice's own words back at her.

"This isn't fair! I have rights! You read them to me!" Alice was screaming her words.

Voight shook his head, "You lost your rights when you became an accomplice to kidnapping."

Alice drew silent. Erin smiled to herself, glad that Voight was on her side. The pulled up to the garage of the station and threw Alice into the cage.

Olinsky was the first one to come down, "What's going on? Erin, are you okay? Is Halstead with you?"

Ruzek and Atwater followed Olinsky down, eager to hear the answers the questions.

Voight was silent for a minute, "Halstead is missing, again."

Ruzek was confused, "Again? How is that even possible? Wasn't there an officer watching him too?"

Voight nodded, "Luke should have been watching both of then, but there was so much going on, there were multiple ways this could have gone down."

Atwater nodded his head, "How do you think it went down?"

Voight looked at Erin, she nodded her head, "Well, what I think happened is that Alice, who is in the cage, was supposed to be a distraction. The whole point was to get Luke into the room, so Liam could go into Jay's room and get him out without being seen."

Ruzek shook his head, "How did Liam get Halstead out of the hospital without anyone being suspicious?"

Erin shook her head, "I really don't know."

Alice laughed from the cage, "You really think we didn't have more than one man getting Jay out of there?"

Erin got closer to the cage, "What are you talking about?"

"Your idea of what happened is almost on point, except for the fact there was more than one person getting Jay out. I can tell you how we did it, that doesn't matter."

"Tell me, and maybe you'll get out with your life."

"Your right up until the point of Liam getting Jay. We had two men, both dressed as nurses. One drugged Jay, and the other made sure they got out okay. It was simple."

Erin was getting angry, she walked into the cage and bent down to eye level with Alice, "I will make sure you scream until you die."

Erin stood up and got out of the cage.

Voight looked at her differently than he ever has before, "You love him."

Erin looked at Voight and then to the other men in the room, "What?"

"You love Halstead."

Erin shook her head and leaned close to Voight, "Not here. Not now."

Voight nodded his head, "We have to talk to Detective Martin."

Erin nodded her head in agreement when her phone started to ring, "Lindsay."

"Erin?" She heard Jay's voice on the other end.

"Jay? Where are you?"

"You have to let Alice go."

Erin shook her head, even though she knew Jay couldn't see her, "I can't. She is our one piece of leverage."

Jay swallowed hard, "Erin, listen to me, the only way I am going to get out alive is if you do everything I tell you."

"Where's Liam?" Erin demanded. She could see Voight signaling to give him the phone. The other boys started to crowd around her as well.

"He's here. But, you need to listen to me."

"Can he hear what I am saying?"

Jay paused, "Yes."

"Tell him that the only way Alice lives through tonight is if we get you back in the next two hours. We aren't playing games." Erin was about to hang up the phone when she heard a yell come from the other end of the phone.

"Jay?!" Could she have just ended his life?

"No." Erin knew Liam's voice right away.

"Liam."

"Erin."

"What do you want? You heard what I said to Jay."

Liam paused, "Is she okay?"

Erin looked over at Alice, who besides a bloody nose, was doing just fine. "She's okay, for now."

Liam paused again, "I want you to hold up the end of our deal."

Erin shook her head, "That deal ended when you took Jay."

"I could have let Jace kill you. I had to pretend like I actually loved you."

Ouch. That one hurt Erin more than she thought, "When you were on the phone while I was at your house…you said you loved someone…you meant Alice and not me."

"Erin…I never really loved you."

It was like an emotion switch was shut off when Erin heard that, "I will kill Alice in two hours and drop her dead body off outside of your apartment if Jay is not returned to us by then. And Jay better not have a new scratch on him."

"Erin- I swear if you hurt her-"

"You now have one hour and fifty nine minutes. Goodbye Liam."
