Here is the new update! It's a little late where I am, but as promised, here it is! Hope you guys like it :)

"Erin, do you think that was a good idea?" Voight questioned her.

"It doesn't matter if it was a good idea." Erin looked around as she said that, it didn't make sense, "Obviously it matters but what I mean is that it doesn't matter what I say as long as Jay is back unharmed."

Antonio nodded, "What do you want us to with her?"

Erin shrugged, "Leave her here until we get Jay back. If he isn't here in two hours then we will kill her." Erin looked over at Alice.

"You won't actually kill me." Alice called Erin's bluff once again.

Erin looked away and started to go up to the station.

"Erin" Alice called out, "Jay is already dead."

Erin shook her head and continued up to her desk. She passed Sargent Platt without another look.

"What's up her ass today?" Platt asked Voight.

Voight walked up to the desk and leaned in close, "Jay is missing. We are handling this in house."

Platt nodded her head, "Have a good day, Detective. Be safe."

Voight nodded his head and continued to follow Erin up the stairs.

Olinsky stopped Ruzek before following behind Voight, "Someone needs to find Jay. If Liam is willing to call Erin's bluff we need to be ready to save Halstead, got it?"

Ruzek nodded his head, "Of course. What do you want me to do?"

Olinksy paused, "Just head over to Liam's place. See if there is anyone there. Pose as the cable guy or phone guy or something. I don't care."

Ruzek nodded his head, "I'll call you if I find something."

Olinsky continued up the stairs while Ruzek headed out to the car. He thought for a second. Should he put on a disguise? He thought back to what Halstead had once said, "Sometimes the badge is more powerful." Adam made up his mind. He wasn't going to put on a disguise.

Erin sat at her desk and pulled up call logs of Liam's phone.

"What are you doing?" Antonio questioned her.

"Checking his call logs. I want to know who he has talked to in the past forty-eight hours."

Voight shook his head, "That could be a lot of people Erin."

"I know that. That's why I am narrowing it down to the top three numbers he has called and received calls from."

Voight nodded his head and thought to himself, wow, she has come a long way from the girl she was on the streets.

Voight went into his office and continued to think, if they really wanted to be together he could get Halstead transferred to another unit. A unit where he can be the good, straight cop he wants to be.

"Voight, I got something." Erin called out.

"Yeah?" He stood and looked at Erin's computer.

"Look familiar?"

Voight looked and saw one name coming up over and over, Mike Lindsay.

"What is your brother doing with Liam?" Voight questioned Lindsay.

She shook her head, shocked, "I honestly have no idea. They had some contact back when I was on the streets for real, but I made sure that when I went undercover he had no contact with him. Then he went" Lindsay paused, "away."

Voight nodded. He never knew what Erin meant when he said her brother went away, and he never pushed her for an answer. One day he might, but not now.

Ruzek had pulled up across from Liam's apartment about fifteen minutes ago and still nothing. Boring. Adam fiddled with the radio a little and was about to pull out his phone to call Al, asking if Jay had been found when a blue SUV pulled outside the apartment. Ruzek pulled out binoculars and saw Liam get out of the passengers side and the driver opened the door behind him. Jay came out with his hands behind his back. He looked like he was struggling. Ruzek pulled out his phone as fast as he could and dialed Al.

"Al, you have to get over here. Come in your gear and bring everyone else. Jay is here. There are two guys I don't know how many more could be inside or coming."

"Great work, Ruzek."

Al turned to Voight, "Liam's apartment. They're there."

Voight nodded, "Alright lets suit up and get ready to go."

It took about five minutes for them all to roll out. Ruzek had said he didn't know how many men were in the apartment, so they brought quite a few backup men to be prepared.

Voight walked into the apartment building and the team followed behind him, "On my count."

They got to Liam's door and Voight counted down from three. He kicked and the door, "Chicago PD stay where you are!"

The rest of the team ran through the room, there had to be at least ten men, including Liam and Erin's brother. Jay was in the middle of the room tied to a chair. Erin ran right to him, he looked like he was okay, but the duct tape over his mouth must be hurting.

She took it off gently, "Jay…"

He shook his head, "Erin…you were going to sacrifice my life."

She paused, "It wasn't like that…I knew Liam wasn't going to kill you."

"Really?" Jay was upset, "Because they were sitting her talking about how they should kill me just to prove a point that they aren't afraid of the police."

Erin shook her head, "But we got you."

"And I have Ruzek to thank for that. I saw him here. I owe you nothing, Erin. You were supposed to have my back. Remember, always?"

Erin felt some tears coming to her eyes, she knew he was right, but she wanted to prove that she loved him.

Voight interrupted them, "Jay, we have to get you to a hospital. I'll be downstairs waiting for you."
Jay nodded his head. Erin started to follow him. Jay stopped short, "I don't want you with me, Erin. They can use you here."

Erin, for the first time in her life, was at a loss for words.
