Chapter 17

Xia Ling sat in her room holding a pink charm bracelet in her hand.

"Today is going to be a good day." She said while shoving the thing in her school uniform.

She headed out of her room and went to join her parents in the Cat Cafe'.

"Good morning!" She said enthusiastic.

"Woah some one sounds happy." Moose pointed out.

"Yeah today is going to be a good day." Xia Ling said while eating her rice.

"Why good day?" Shampoo asked a bit curious.

Xia Ling smirked.

"It just is."

She got up and headed out the door.

"Bye bye." She said waving her hands.

"She looks pretty happy." Moose said.

Cologne took a sip of her tea and then looked up.

"Something is going to happen today." She said and took another sip.

Yoshiho was walking along with Ayako and Kyoya, they had all ready dropped Saya off at school.

"You look like a zombie whats wrong?" Ayako asked Yoshiho concerned.

"I don't know I feel like I did not sleep much." He said while dragging his feet.

They arrived at the school gates and saw Hana, Ruki, and Uta . The girls where selling blown up pictures of Yoshiho.

"3500 Yen!" All three girls shouted.

A hoard of girls where gathered around buying a bunch of pictures, it was pretty chaotic.

"Mine!" One girl yelled.

"I saw it first!" Another yelled.

"No! Its all mine!" A girl said grabbing the picture.

All the girls took a hold of the large photo and stated to pull.

"Let go!"

"Mine!"

"I saw it first!"

Everyone started to shout.

"Oh my god these girls are crazy." Kyoya said.

"It's the real thing!" A girl yelled out while pointing at Yoshiho.

"KYAAAA!" They all yelled while running towards him.

"Hey hands off he's mine!" Xia Ling said suddenly in front of Yoshiho.

"Right Yoshi-kun?" She asked turning to face him.

"Yes." He said in a monotone voice.

Xia Ling hugged Yoshiho while the other girls stood there with their mouth opened.

"How do we know its true?" One girl asked.

"Last time he said he was dating someone it turned out to be a lie!" Another girl pointed out.

"Yeah!" They all said.

"Move out my way!" Hana yelled out with her mega phone.

She walked right up to Xia Ling.

"What do you mean he's yours?" She asked in an aggravated tone.

"It means he's mine!" Xia Ling said now in Hana's face.

"Woah Woah girls I'm not anyones-"

"Yes you are!" Xia Ling said turning to face Yoshiho.

"You're my boyfriend!" She said yelling.

As soon as Xia Ling said those three words Yoshiho's eyes became lifeless he looked like a slave under her influence.

"Lets go Yoshi-kun." Xia Ling said while grabbing his hand and leading him into the school.

"Wow that was weird." Ayako said while watching the two teens retreating form.

"Sure was." Kyoya agreed.

"Something is going on and we gotta do something." Hana said while heading for the school entrance.

"Oh Yoshi-kun you are so cute." Xia Ling said while poking his cheek.

It was lunch time and Yoshiho and Xia Ling sat on the roof alone.

"You know we should go on a date right now." She said while laying her head on his shoulder.

"Yes we should." He replied in a monotone voice.

" Let's go then." She said holding on to his hand and jumping off the roof.

"We gotta follow them." Ayako said from her hiding spot.

"Right behind you sista!" Hana said while following Ayako down the stairs.

"Do you see them?" Hana asked Ayako while looking around the city.

"No...Wait look!" Ayako pointed to a window.

"Its them!" They both said while heading closer to the window to get a better look.

"What are they doing?" Hana asked.

"Looks like they are eating ice cream." Ayako said.

"I can't belive this." Hana said while clutching her fist.

"Can you here anything?" Ayako asked.

"No I think we should go inside." Hana said while heading for the ice cream parlor's door.

The two girls stepped in and were greeted by a waitress.

"Smoking or non smoking?" She asked.

"Non smoking." Ayako said.

"Right this way." The waitress said while heading to the tables.

"Exscuse me can we have this booth?" Hana asked while pointing at a booth not to far from where Yoshiho and Xia Ling were.

"Sure no problem." The waitress said while handing them two menus.

"I'll be back when you both are ready to order." She said and then walked away.

Hana and Ayako sat down next to each other and pulled a menu in front of their faces.

"Can you here them?" Hana whispered.

" A little." Ayako replied.

"I'm having so much fun Yoshi-kun. Are you having fun?"

"Yes." Yoshiho said still in a monotone voice.

"It's like he is under some kind of spell." Hana whispered over to Ayako.

"Spell." Ayako whispered to herself.

"It would not be suprising if he once told me about Xia Ling's mother and let me tell you that woman used all kinds of spells to seduce guys." Ayako told Hana.

"So you think he is under one?"

"Its most likely I mean look at him he would never go along with this no matter how nice he is. There must have been something that Xia Ling did to get him to become some sort of slave." Ayako said.

"Maybe it was the ramen." Hana said.

"No he coughed that all out it must have been something else."

As if on cue Ayako noticed the charm on Yoshiho's bag and the charm on Xia Ling's bracelet.

"The charm." she whispered a bit loudly over to Hana.

"Shhh! Do you want them to notice us?"

"Sorry." Ayako said in a normal whisper.

"It's the charm that she gave him when we were sitting under the tree. This explains why she had got mad when I tried to look at it." Ayako said.

"Hello ladies may I take your orders?"

The girls looked at each other before both saying "A double chocolate fudge sunday with extra sprinkles."

"Coming right up." the waitress said before leaving.

"How are we going to stop her?" Hana asked.

"Well it seems like it only works when the charms are close to each other."

"How do you know that?"

"Well this morning when we were walking to school he looked normal just a bit tired and this all started when Xia Ling got close to him with her charm." Ayako informed.

"So we gotta get those two charms away from each other." Hana said.

At that moment the waitress came back with the two sunday's.

"But after we dig in." Ayako said eating a spoon full of ice cream.

an hour later Ayako and Hana were still following them just this time Saya and Kyoya were with them.

"So my brother is under some love spell and the only way to get him to snap out of it is to separate those two charms." Saya confirmed making sure she understood what was going on.

"Well we don't know if it will work but its worth a try." Ayako said.

"It better work." Hana said.

"So what's the plan?" Kyoya asked.

The four of them huddled up and Ayako told them the plan.

"Got it?" She asked.

"Got it!" Saya,Kyoya,and Hana replied.

"Lets go!" Ayako said.

The four of them ran into different directions.

"Were coming Yoshiho." Ayako said while running.
