Hey! This is my first "In Plain Sight" fic, but I'm really excited about it! Ok, here we go!

Disclaimer- I do not own "In Plain Sight"

(3rd person POV)

"I'm a ….."

"What?" Raphael turned to face Mary, surprise etched on every one of his features.

"I just told you, now…leave me alone!" Mary turned on one heel and stalked back into the house. Raphael followed slowly, his mind filled with the past couple years. It all made sense now. Poor Mary, keeping that all inside. He walked through the door, but heard her slam her bedroom door.

He knew that it took Mary a lot of courage to say that one simple thing to him. His fiancé was finally beginning to learn some trust. He was selfishly glad that she told him, and not anyone else. He went to the computer, and typed in "U.S. Marshall for Witness protection Program". He read as much as he could, and felt like he could understand her better.

When Brandi got home from her joy ride, she immediately asked where Mary was.

"Shhh. She's in her room, don't disturb her," he cautioned. "How was the new car?"

"I absolutely love it! You should drive it sometime, it has amazing speed, and all the features you showed me were absolutely fantastic!" she squealed, throwing her arms around him.

He patted her blond hair, wishing Mary would hug him like this. He knew it was just part of her nature not too, but he wanted her to gain more trust with him. Just as he was thinking this, Mary walked into the room. He could tell she had been crying, something rare for her. She just needed some alone time.

Mary glanced at Brandi, and then shifted her eyes to her future husband. Their eyes locked, and she gave him a small smile. He returned it with a big grin, and motioned for her to come closer. As she approached, Brandi waved and backed out the front door.'

"I'm going to take another ride; you guys just hang out…" As she left, Mary took a step closer to Raph.

"Hey," she said, slowly, drawing out the word.

"Hey," he said back, waiting. She didn't say anything else, so he kept talking. "Mary thanks for telling me about your work. Now we can both be happy, because we both now a little bit more about each other."

Mary smiled, and he leaned down and gave her a passionate kiss. "I love you," he whispered.

Mary nodded. "I know, "she whispered back. "Me, too."

The next day

As Mary walked into work, she smiled at Marshall, and walked to her desk. He stared after her, his mouth hanging open. Mary was happy? That's impossible!

When Eleanor walked by to grudgingly give Mary a cup of coffee, she was astounded. Mary actually smiled at her! She asked Marshall what the heck was happening, and he had the same concern. They held a huddled conference, and Marshall decided to go and talk to the unusually happy girl.

"Uh...Mary…, what's up?"

"Nothing' much, you?" she responded, looking up at him.

"Well, you seem…happy. Too happy." He said quietly.

"Oh, yeah, Well, Raphael and I talked, and now we are on good terms! That training video really helped me," she said without looking up from her computer.

Marshall walked back to his desk, amazed. This was a first. Mary was…happy.

It was not my best, but please review…
