As the UA School Festival approaches, Midoriya got permission to give Eri a tour at UA Academy as a way to prepare her for the school festival in order for her to smile again. Upon meeting Kendo, Eri took a liking to her as a sister, and after learning Eri's circumstances, Kendo began to act as a big sister to her, wherein she helps Midoriya, and the two teens slowly fall in love.

After the events at I-Island, Class 1-A returned to Heights Alliance, where some of them accuses Izuku Midoriya of SCORING A HIT on Melissa Shield. Momo Yaoyorozu finds herself puzzled when she developed feelings toward Midoriya and wondered if she should pursue it or not given that she is also aspiring to become a pro hero.

Izuku knew he had a quirk, despite what Kacchan said. He doesn't know what yet, but he knows he does! But, as Kacchan's fist hits Izuku in the face, like he has for the past year since his quirk came in, something cracks. And then it's Kacchan who cries out in pain.
