The Cobra's Bite

The Southern Isles

May 22, 1789

Even though Hans got what he wanted regarding ruling a kingdom, he found that running one wasn't as easy as he thought. There were so many duties he had in order to maintain it and keep his people well. Although these duties were a struggle for him at times, he did enjoy the power that came with ruling, so he wasn't complaining too much. The only downside about all of this was that nothing was being done regarding his revenge on Arendelle. Almost a year has passed since he first made his deal with the demon Bagan, and still nothing happened. He was starting to wonder if the demon was double-crossing him. He didn't have time to think about since he was discussing a situation that was far more important. Recently, there had been a large increase in the number of elderly deaths in the Southern Isles, and this was causing concern among his people. Hans knew what, or "who" in this case, was causing this, but he didn't dare stop it for fear of upsetting Bagan. He knew the demon had to regain his power as soon as possible, but he had to do something before someone figured out everything. At the moment, he was in his throne room talking to his Governor General about the problem, making up some bogus excuse for what the problem was. Suddenly, a familiar feeling came over him and he caught sight of slight movement in the shadows coming from the corner of the room. This talk would have to be finished later. "I'm sorry, but can we discuss this matter after a little while? I think I need to clear my head before I start thinking about how to deal with this problem."

"Of course, your majesty," the Governor General said. With a bow the man left the room, not knowing his Prince wasn't all alone.

Once the man was gone, Hans turned to the corner of the room he spotted movement in and spoke up. "I was just talking about your handiwork." Hans started walking to his throne.

A black snake slithered out of the shadows and stopped in front of the stairs leading up to Hans' throne, reforming itself into Bagan once the Prince sat down. "Good things, I hope," he said with a chuckle, wiping what appeared to be freshly spilled blood off his hands; a sign that yet another person had been killed in order for him to harvest their soul.

"Not quite. Too many of the elderly here are dying, and now my people are getting suspicious about it. You need to stop harvesting souls from here and go elsewhere. I know you can do this because you've done it before," Hans said. Although he looked strong and firm on the outside when he said this, Hans was quite nervous about Bagan's reaction to this order, but he couldn't let the demon see that.

"Who the hell cares if your elders are wiped out?" Bagan said with a total lack of care. "It's not like they're needed anymore. Besides, it's much easier and faster for me to gain my powers back when I harvest souls here."

"Speaking of your powers, when will you get enough of them back in order to make a new giant body? It's been almost a year and you still have not honored your part of our deal regarding Arendelle," Hans said, giving the demon a rather stern look.

Bagan's face contorted into a look of annoyance. "And you have not honored yours. Have I fought and killed Gigantis? No. You seem to have no patience, which I believe is something necessary in your line of duty. It takes time to recreate a body as big as mine. I will destroy your little problem once my old body has been remade. I never lie about death and destruction. Anyways, my recent...power boost, has finally allowed my powers to reach levels high enough to expend some of it without setting me back too far behind in order to create three simple tests for Gigantis."

Hans gave Bagan a puzzled look. "And what exactly can you conjure up that is more of a challenge than the creatures Gigantis has already faced?"

"Oh, you shall see," Bagan said with an ominous chuckle as part of his body began splitting itself apart from him. Hans' look of disturbance at the rather sickening sight made Bagan chuckle in amusement. With a wet popping sound, a small (in terms of height) eighteen-foot long piece of black, shadowy flesh separated itself from Bagan and fell to the throne room floor, taking the shape of a king cobra the moment it landed..

Hans had never seen a creature like this before. Snakes weren't common in Norway, and even if he had seen a king cobra before, this one was most certainly different from the ones that lived in the wild. The scales on its backside were purple with black dots scattered all around while its underbelly was a light-brownish gray color. It had a much larger head than regular king cobras had, but this was mainly due to its menacingly large jaws that had two spike-like objects coming out of its chin. The only teeth in its mouth were four fangs, two on the top and two on the bottom. The creature's eyes were light yellow and had no pupils, signifying its demonic nature. The neck area where the hood connected to the head was the same sickening blue color as its head, but the hood was differently colored. The top part and the sides were a slightly darker shade of purple that contrasted with the lighter shade of purple its body was, but the areas where the yellow spiked tips that stuck out of the hood were a much darker purple. On its neck were four green ovals that were the same green color that the curved veins in between the spaces of its hood were. Hans cringed and nearly jumped when it looked right at him with its pupil-less eyes and flicked its forked tongue out to taste the air. This creature was a truly disturbing one. "What is that beast?" Hans asked, pressing his back against the throne as it slithered closer to the stairs and away from Bagan.

The fact that his creation made Hans nervous made Bagan laugh with amusement yet again. "This is a creature that is not found around your area. I have seen many of the creatures living on this planet in my time, and this is one that I believe is ferocious enough to test Gigantis' strength. I've made it so that instead of delivering a lethal dose of poison into Gigantis' blood stream it'll cause him to enter a state of paralysis that will leave him vulnerable for King Cobra to make the kill; if fate allows it, that is. I truly hope not, so that I may have the pleasure of killing him."

"Have it do whatever you need it to, just...get that thing out of here," Hans said, eyeing the snake carefully. After hearing what its bite can do, he didn't want it to even be in the castle.

"Is someone afraid of such a little snake?" Bagan asked with a smirk. "King Cobra may be a living organism, but it is still a part of me, meaning that I am the one holding control over its actions. The only thing you need fear from it is if you get on my bad side, so I would watch yourself and your tone with me as long as it's around if I were you." Bagan began petting the snake's head, causing it to close its eyes in pleasure.

"As fearsome as it sounds at this small height, I don't think it can poison something as big as Gigantis no matter how lethal its bite is," Hans said.

"I'm going to increase its height, you imbecile," Bagan said in annoyance. "I'm going to do that once I find him. Unless you want me to do it right here inside your castle."

"No, no. No need to do that," Hans said nervously. "Just go test it on Gigantis now."

"Fine by me." Bagan began moving towards the shadows, but King Cobra stayed exactly where it was.

"Wait, aren't you going to take that thing with you?" Hans asked.

Bagan stopped and turned around, smirking evilly at Hans. "Nah. I think you need some bonding time with it. Have fun," Bagan laughed. Before Hans could reply with how outraged he was, Bagan disappeared into the shadows.

The Prince of the Southern Isles turned from where Bagan had just been over to the snake. It looked at him with its pupil-less eyes, never taking them off him for one second. Hans was getting nervous by this thing staring at him. He let out a nervous chuckle and started pulling his legs up onto the throne with the rest of his body. "Um...nice snake..."

Arendelle, Norway

Inside Jason's room, it wasn't as dark as one would figure it to be around the middle of night, aside from the Moon's light shining in through the window. Even though the light from the TV screen joined the Moon in lighting most of the room, there still some areas covered in darkness scattered around. Bagan silently emerged from one of those areas, the bottom left corner of the room to be more specific, but quickly darted back inside it when he saw that all of Jason's friends were in the room. Fortunately for him, none of them noticed his arrival or presence since all of their attentions were focused on Jason's magical box that was strangely given the name 'TV'. Bagan didn't know that they were watching CNN, which was showing live footage of a strange, insectoid-looking monster with enormous wings attacking an airport while Anderson Cooper's voice was describing the situation.

"This is coming to you live from the Honolulu International Airport where the strange creature that was tracked via radar coming from the Japanese mainland has landed," Anderson Cooper narrated the creature walked on top of a monorail track and attacked the train stuck in its path. "The US Air Force engaged the creature earlier, but it managed to take down the jets and helicopters with what appeared to be some sort of electro-magnetic pulse. After discovering this startling ability, it's unsure what their next move will be." Suddenly, the creature turned to something that was out of the camera's frame and got into a defensive posture, letting out a menacing roar. The camera sharply turned to where the creature was looking and saw Gigantis charge out of a gigantic portal which closed behind him. "And now the monster Gigantis has arrived on the scene and is now engaging the creature," Anderson narrated as Gigantis stopped in front of the monorail track as the winged creature took to the air.

Bagan tried to study the monster Gigantis was engaging, but he was having a difficult time since the camera recording the battle was shaky and caught only fleeting glimpses of it. From what he saw, it had a slim, black-colored body with a long, arrow-shaped head ending in a beak-like mouth. Two enormous wings connected to its back, and it had a set of four arms that ended in curved hook-like tips and two hoofed feet. The two arms closer to its head were longer and larger than the explicitly smaller arms located directly underneath them. It was smaller than Gigantis with a height of only 144 feet tall.

The winged creature swooped around Gigantis and slammed into Gigantis' backside, clinging onto him with its larger arms. Gigantis roared as he shook his body around violently in an attempt to dislodge the strange thing while it clawed his body with its hooved feet. With a powerful body thrust, Gigantis threw the creature off of him, causing it to slam into the ground. With a mighty flap of its wings, the creature propelled itself off the runway and into the air as Gigantis came charging towards it. Before it could get too high into the air, Gigantis threw a couple quick sucker punches that struck the creature's face, but they weren't powerful enough to send it crashing back to the ground. The blows did knock the aerial beast backwards, however, but a couple powerful wing flaps kept it airborne. It flew over to Gigantis and slammed one of its large arms across the front of Gigantis' chest, knocking the saurian over on his side. The creature flew over Gigantis and fell downwards, slamming its body weight on top of him.

Gigantis let out a roar once the creature pushed off and flew back into the air, but when he started to push himself back up, the creature slammed into him again, sending him back to the ground. Instead of jumping on him again, it stabbed its hooked appendages into his flesh, causing him to let out a yelp. The creature flew off the saurian's body and began dragging Gigantis' body across the runway, stunning Jason's friends and whoever else was watching the broadcast. As the creature dragged Gigantis over to the aircraft stand where several airplanes were parked, it slung Gigantis across the runway and flew overhead as Gigantis slammed into a couple of planes. The resulting explosion consumed Gigantis and the flames spread out to the other airplanes, causing them to explode as well. From the air, the winged creature watched as the explosions consumed the aircraft stand and spread out to other areas of the airport before it flew away into the night.

All of Jason's friends watched this with utter surprise and began looking at each other as if to see if anyone else around them witnessed the same thing. "Oh my god, is he going to be okay?!" Elsa asked, obviously worried about her boyfriend.

"I'm...sure he's fine. He's taken numerous explosions when he was younger and survived those," Gzilla said. Although what he said was true, the explosions Gigantis dealt with weren't as big as this one was turning out to be, but he didn't want to worry Elsa more than she already was.

True to Gzilla's word, Gigantis emerged from the smoke and flames, unharmed but quite irritated, judging from the look on his face. As Anderson Cooper began wrapping up his report, Gigantis sniffed the air for a brief moment before heading out to the ocean; possibly to track the mystery creature. As the live footage of Gigantis heading to the ocean ended and Anderson began doing a report about news on ISIS, Gzilla switched off the TV.

"What was that thing and where did it come from?" Anna asked.

"I don't know," Gzilla answered. "I've never seen that kaiju before."

"You can probably guess that it was disturbed by something humanity did," Mephiles said in a derogatory manner. "That's usually how monsters show up in our universe."

"How long do you think it'll take for him track that thing down so he can get rid of it and come home?" Elsa asked.

"Considering that hardly any of us knows anything about that creature, it's hard to say. Could be a couple days or a week," Gzilla said. He patted her shoulder in a reassuring way. She was probably missing him already right now. "Don't worry about him. Jason always wins in the end, and it won't be long before he's back here and doing whatever he does with you."

"That's not why I asked. I mean, I do miss him, but I'm more concerned about something attacking Arendelle while he's gone," Elsa said.

"We'll just have Mephiles get him back here," Gzilla said. "I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a hassle for Jason."

"But what if he can't get Jason back?" asked Elsa.

No one had really thought about that happening. Elsa could create another giant ice warrior as a back-up like she did when Ebirah appeared, but the amount of magic it took to create it really put a strain on her, and more importantly, Anna didn't want her doing that again after she found out that Elsa was nearly killed by Ebirah. Also, Elsa didn't have the fighting experience that Gigantis had. Gigantis truly was Arendelle's only defense against kaiju, and with him gone, it wouldn't be hard for one to make a mess out of Arendelle if one showed up. "We'll just have to hope that doesn't happen," Gzilla replied.

Seeing no point in staying there any longer, Bagan returned to Hans' castle using his shadow teleportation ability. Upon returning, he saw Hans sitting on his throne, holding his legs close to his chest while fearfully looking at King Cobra. "It isn't going to hurt you, so stop being a pussy around it, or I'll make it give you something to be afraid of," Bagan said as he stepped out of the shadows. To make his point, Bagan mentally commanded the snake to hiss at Hans while making a mock lunging strike in his direction, causing the Prince to jump a little. "And you better get used to it because it'll be here for a while."

"What?! Why is that thing staying here?" Hans asked angrily, pushing himself out of his throne. "I thought you were going to send that thing to fight Gigantis today!"

Bagan did not appreciate Hans' disrespectful outburst and had King Cobra lunge at him, landing on the steps leading up to his throne. Hans pushed himself back into his throne fearfully. After Bagan mentally commanded King Cobra to slither back to his side, he spoke to Hans with a fierce glare. "You would be wise to control your temper. To answer your question, Jason isn't there. He's chasing after a creature in some place that clearly isn't in this universe, and his friends don't seem to have any idea of when he's coming back." Bagan turned his back to Hans and began moving back to the shadows in the corner of the room with King Cobra following him. Before the demons left, Bagan and his "pet" stopped and turned back around to face Hans. "The next time you shout out me, I will make sure you never even think about doing so again," he threatened. "You think that I need you? Think again. I could kill you right now and it wouldn't affect me in the slightest. Remember that the next time you're frustrated or angered with me about something that doesn't quite work out the way you want it to." Bagan and King Cobra disappeared into the shadows, leaving a quite scared Hans alone to contemplate what Bagan told him.

When the citizens of Arendelle woke up the following day, they had no idea that their defender was gone. Elsa didn't want her people worrying about something bad happening with Gigantis being absent, so she didn't inform them. Nothing happened in the first 24 hours Jason was away, though, but that didn't mean it would stay that way. Jason's friends wondered if he was alright since they hadn't heard from him ever since he left last night. Everyone missed him, but Elsa missed him the most. She kept Mephiles' iPhone near her at all times just in case he called. Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff were experienced enough with the technology from Jason's universe, so Elsa knew how to use the device well enough. This made Mephiles a bit mad since she wouldn't let him use it despite her knowing that he would answer the phone if he called, but she wanted to be the one to talk to him first since she was his girlfriend in addition to being the Queen. Mephiles argued about this with her for a while until Gzilla and Anna convinced him to let her have it until Jason came back.

At around 10 am the next morning, Elsa was busy doing her Queenly duties at her work table when Mephiles' iPhone went off. The heavy metal song that Mephiles set as the ringtone for whenever Jason called started playing, which took Elsa completely by surprise and caused her to yelp in surprise and nearly fall out of her chair. She snatched the cell phone off the work table quickly and pressed the answer button on the iPhone's screen. She didn't see who the caller was, but at the moment she didn't care who it was as long as it stopped that awful sounding noise Mephiles and his friends called music. "Hello?" she spoke into the phone.

"Hi, Elsa."

"Jason! Oh my god, I'm so happy it's you," Elsa said happily. She heard him briefly chuckle before he gave his reply.

"Who'd you think would be calling Mephiles? It's not like he has that many friends. Speaking of him, how'd you get his iPhone? He usually doesn't let other people touch it."

"I told him that I wanted it in case you called, and if he didn't give it to me I'd freeze him solid," Elsa replied. "I was worried something might have happened to you. Are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm okay."

"Then why didn't you call and tell us that?! Everyone's been wondering if you were alright!" Elsa shouted.

"I'm so sorry, hun. I would have called sooner, but I didn't have any cell service out in the open ocean, and I've been swimming ever since the MUTO left the airport so I wouldn't have even had a chance to use it even if I had service. I just now ran into the Navy fleet that I'm supposed to meet up and head to San Francisco with. They let me on one of their ships when I told them I needed to check in with my friends."

"Now it's my turn to say sorry. I didn't know any of that." Then, the new information Jason just mentioned to her reached her brain. "Wait, what? Muto? San Francisco? Navy fleet?"

"I take it CNN or any other news station hasn't told anyone what exactly is going on yet?"

"Aside from the fact that another weird creature has popped up in some state place called Nevada, no not really. What is going on?"

"That thing I fought at the airport has been given the name MUTO. It's an acronym that stands for Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism. Apparently, the one from the airport is a male, and the new creature that emerged in Nevada is a female. Both of them are now making their way toward each other, and it's estimated that they'll reach each other in the city of San Francisco. This fleet of Navy ships is taking me there where Godzilla and I will battle the MUTOs with the help of the various US military branches. Godzilla's been released from Monster Island just for this," Jason explained.

"Wait, where did these Muto things come from, and why exactly are they heading for each other?" Elsa asked.

"I can't say too much over an open line, but they're prehistoric creatures that were awakened by us; us as in mankind. The male came from Japan while the female was in some coccoon thing that was apparently stored in some mountain which holds nuclear material. Some scientists on board this ship believe that they're heading for each other in order to mate. Like I said before, that's about all you're allowed to know for the time being." Then Jason whispered. "Until I come back to Arendelle, that is."

"Please promise me that you and your father will be safe, or at least will try to be. That's all I want to know right now," Elsa told him.

"I promise that dad and I will do everything we possibly can to stay safe, but just know that if worse does come to worse, we'll do everything we can to keep those two things from getting it on and dooming mankind."

"I know," Elsa said with a sigh. She hoped it wouldn't have to come to either of them to make any scarifices.

Hearing the sadness and worry in her voice, Jason tried to cheer her up. "Hey, I'll come back to you. I always will, no matter what. I promise this with all my heart and soul."

That brought a smile to Elsa's face. "With all your heart and soul?"

"With all my heart and soul."

"I'm gonna hold you to that one," she said, still smiling. Then she realized that the others haven't gotten a chance to talk to him. "Oh, do you want to talk to the others? I'm sure they'll all want to hear from you and your adventure."

"I can't right now. I haven't slept in a really long time, and I'm super tired. I called before I went to sleep because I wanted to let one of you know that I was okay so they could tell the others. How is everyone doing, by the way?"

"Everyone's keeping you in their thoughts. I'm sure they'll be glad to hear this news. Ever since you left, Olaf has been hanging out with G and Meph so that he can try to fill in your position among them in your little group by keeping them company," she said with a chuckle. "It's quite cute, really."

"I'm sure Meph is enjoying that," Jason replied with a small laugh which suddenly turned into a yawn. "I'm gonna go get some sleep now. I'll try to call you when I wake up if things aren't starting to go down. I've heard that we'll be at San Francisco by evening, so tell everyone I might be coming home around night time."

"Okay," Elsa said, sounding a bit sad that he had to go. She wanted to talk to him longer, but she didn't want to keep him from resting. "I love you."

"I love you too, Elsa. Take care now." And with that, the phone call ended.

Elsa turned off the iPhone, grateful for the time she was able to talk to Jason even though it wasn't for as long as she wanted. At least she can tell the others that he's alright. With the device in hand, Elsa left her throne room and went to tell Gzilla and Mephiles the news. They were Jason's best friends, so it was only fitting that they be the first ones to know.

As Elsa walked into the hallway that lead to their rooms, she heard sounds that could only come from a video game being played coming from Jason's room. Figuring that they were most likely inside, Elsa knocked on the door, opened it up, and walked right in. She saw Mephiles and Gzilla sitting in chairs in front of Jason's TV while Olaf sat on the floor with the Gamecube controller. Olaf was playing the Wii while Gzilla and Mephiles watched. Gzilla had an amused look on his face while Mephiles looked annoyed with a hint of frustrated thrown in. Elsa didn't know exactly what game was being played, but she knew it was a Super Mario game due to recognizing Super Mario and Bowser.

She noticed that Mario had some sort of strange device on his back that sprayed water out of it and that the Italian plumber was battling Bowser on what appeared to be a giant bathtub in the shape of a sun which was filled with green water. Bowser was breathing fire at Mario while strange black things were flying at him.

"What do I do?! What do I do?!" Olaf paniced, pressing lots of buttons on the controller in hopes one would be the solution to all of this hecticness. "There's black things coming at me from everywhere, and that big turtle guy is attacking me with fireballs, and everything's going way too fast!" the little snowman shouted, obviously not knowing what to do.

"Ugh, go over to the edges of the tub where painted images of red fireballs are, use the water jet pack to rocket up into the air, and then ground pound images," Mephiles told Olaf. "If you didn't know what to do, then why did you want to play the final boss fight so badly? This wasn't going to be easy for you since you've never played this game before!"

"I thought it would be fun to be the hero," Olaf said as he made Mario run all around, dodging fireballs and Bullet Bills. "I never thought it would be this hard!" He had a hard time remembering which controls did what, but somehow he managed to get Mario over to one of the fireball images that Mephiles had mentioned, but just as he was figuring out how to use the Rocket FLUDD, a Bullet Bill slammed into Mario. The force of the impact caused the plumber to plummet off the edge of the stage to his death. "Awww, I died," Olaf said.

"Oh for the love of God, give me the damn controller and watch how it's done!" Mephiles shouted. He floated out of his chair, snatched the controller away from Olaf, and started the boss fight from the beginning.

"Mephiles, be nice. Olaf tried his best," Elsa said, which got everyone's attention. None of them heard her knocking or opening the door, or even notcied she was in the room with them.

"When did you get here?" Gzilla asked her.

"A few moments ago," Elsa replied.

"What do you want?" Mephiles asked, his focus completely on the game.

Elsa crossed her arms and glared at the demon, clearly annoyed with the demon's lack of respect for her. "I came here to tell you that I just got off the phone with Jason."

"That's great," Gzilla said happily. "Wait, why didn't he want to talk to any of us?"

"He told me he needed to get some sleep because of everything he's gone through regarding that giant creature, which is apparently called a MUTO now. He sounded tired, so I let him get some much needed rest. He asked about all of you, though," Elsa said.

"When is he going to come back home?" Olaf asked.

"He said that he and this Navy fleet would be in the city of San Francisco by evening, so he guessed that it'd be anytime tonight. He and his father are going to be fighting two MUTOs there."

"Thank you so much for telling us that important bit of information," Mephiles said, never once taking his eyes off the screen while speaking He continued playing his game as he continued speaking. "I am glad that my friend is alright and that he'll be kicking some ass tonight, but you are really breaking my concentration."

Gzilla punched the demon's arm, causing Mephiles to grunt in pain. "Be nice!"

"Hey, believe it or not, I was being nice," Mephiles replied, pausing the game to rub his arm.

Elsa just glared at him, annoyed by the fact that he wasn't showing much care for someone he called his best friend. She was very tempted to freeze the Wii solid with her ice magic, but the fact that it was Jason's stopped her. "You should be lucky you even have friends, Mephiles. Jason cares about you, so it wouldn't hurt to show that you cared about him every now and then." With nothing more left to say, Elsa left the room and closed the door behind her so she could find her sister and Kristoff in order to tell them this news.

"I care about him, I just know that Jason can handle himself!" Mephiles shouted as she left the room.

"Yea, you sure showed her that," Gzilla said sarcastically.

"Oh shut the hell up. At least the room is at peace once again," Mephiles said before returning to the game.

"I think you should be nicer to Elsa," Olaf said to Mephiles. "She is the Queen, and your bestest friend's girlfriend, and lets you live here in the castle with us, so you should show her that you appreciate her for everything she's done."

"I'll show her some appreciation when she lets me do whatever I want and doesn't harp at me for it," Mephiles said, making Mario smash the final fireball logo, winning the boss battle. He turned to Olaf. "And that is how you beat Bowser."

No one said anything as the final cutscene began playing. It stayed that way until the part where Bowser talked to Bowser Jr about Princess Peach. When Bowser Jr said the word 'mama', it made Olaf remember something specific about Mephiles. He looked at the demon and asked him a rather personal question. "Hey, what happened to your mother that made her a ghost? Is it why you're so bitter and mean all the time?"

Mephiles cringed a little from hearing this and sent a glare at Olaf that one could describe as extremely unpleased. "I don't want to talk about it..."

"But why not? If you're worried that G and I will judge you, you shouldn't be. We're both here for you won't judge you or anything. It'll probably make you feel better too," Olaf insisted.

"I am not going to tell you, and telling anyone this won't make me feel better. Just drop it or I'll drop you out of that window," Mephiles threatened.

"Pleeeeease, Mephiles. I really think it might make you feel better because we can help you get through your pain," Olaf continued.

"Olaf, I really think you should just stop," Gzilla told him. "It's not a happy one."

The little snowman turned to Gzilla. "You've heard it?" The six-foot saurian nodded, but that only made things worse because Olaf was now more determined than ever to get Mephiles to tell the story. "You told him, so why can't you tell me?"

"Because he's someone I trust, and I don't trust you! You'll blab it to everyone in the damn kingdom, and I don't want anyone here knowing this and feeling sorry for me! I hate it when people feel bad for me! It's not like they can change anything about it, and telling me the fact that they feel bad for me just pisses me off because it doesn't do anything. What good can come from telling me they feel bad for me? Can ANYTHING come from telling me they feel bad for me? No, not a thing!" Mephiles took a breath of air after his angry rant ended.

"Please?" Olaf asked. It was like he didn't even hear anything Mephiles said just a few seconds ago.

No," Mephiles replied, trying to keep himself from exploding into complete rage. The fact that Olaf was still trying to convince him to tell this story even after he explained some reasons why he didn't want to pissed him off even more.

"Please?"

"No!"

"Please?"

"No!"

"Please?"

"NO!"

This continued for a couple more minutes with Mephiles getting more and more pissed off. Another reason, this one more secretive than the others, for why he really didn't like telling people the story about his mother's death was because it brought back some rather horrible memories, and he didn't want anyone aside from his closest friends seeing him get emotional. That's why only Jason and Gzilla have heard the story. Finally, Mephiles couldn't take anymore of Olaf's constant prodding. He grabbed the snowman by the neck and shouted in his face. "FINE! I'LL TELL YOU THE GODDAMN STORY JUST AS LONG AS YOU SHUT THE HELL UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!" Mephiles released the snowman's throat and shoved him away.

At first Olaf had a shocked look on his face, but he was happy once again, forgetting that Mephiles had just screamed in his face only a few seconds ago by the fact that he'll be able to help Mephiles deal with the obvious pain he felt when talking about this, and ultimately bond with the demon. "Okay!" He sat on the floor in front of Mephiles like an expectant child waiting for a story. "Just know that me and G will help you through this emotional experience."

Mephiles rolled his eyes upon hearing that. "Whatever."

Elsewhere in the castle, Anna and Kristoff were walking through the hallway, heading straight for Elsa's throne room. Anna was wearing her winter outfit, minus the magenta cape, with her hood down while Kristoff was wearing his black and light blue vest with his black pants. They were planning on going to visit Kristoff's troll family today, and they wanted to let Elsa know that they were about to leave. When they stepped into the hallway where their bedrooms were, they saw Elsa leaving Mephiles' room. "Oh, Elsa!" Anna said upon seeing her sister.

"Anna! I have some great news," Elsa said happily.

"Same here," Anna replied. "Me and Kristoff are going to visit his family for the day, but we should be back before nightfall. We're gonna have so much fun!" she said with enthusiasm."

"Oh yeah, it's gonna be so much fun," Kristoff said with playful sarcasm. "Especially when my mom asks us when our wedding is and my dad asks if you're pregnant."

"Oh, I doubt they'll ask about those things," Anna said as she waved him and his claim off with a scoff, although she secretly wasn't too sure about those odds. Kristoff's troll parents could get rather inappropriate at times.

Elsa looked at both her younger sister and her boyfriend with an arched brow. "Are you pregnant, Anna?"

"No, I'm not pregnant, Elsa!" Anna replied.

"I'm just checking. I don't know what you and Kristoff do all the time."

"Me and Kristoff have never even had se-"

"Annnnd I don't feel comfortable with this conversation," Kristoff said, deliberately interrupting Anna. "I think your sister had some news to tell us, Anna, so lets hear what she has to say."

Elsa silently thanked Kristoff. She didn't want to know about her sister's sex life just as much as Kristoff didn't want it revealed to everyone. "I just got off the phone with Jason. He's doing okay, aside from being really tired."

"That's great to hear! Wait, why is he really tired?" Anna asked.

"He's been tracking that one monster that got away when he was at the airport place through the ocean ever since we saw it leave last night," Elsa explained.

"Wow, he really must have some great endurance if he can swim for almost two days straight," Kristoff remarked. "So when's he coming back here?"

Elsa shrugged. "He didn't know for sure, but guessed that it would probably be after he and his father defeat those two monsters in a city called San Francisco."

"I'm glad to hear that he's okay. I know how worried you were about him," Anna said before giving her sister a big hug. "You know how I am when it comes to my family, and I'm pretty sure he'll be a part of it in the future," she said with a playful giggle.

That made Elsa's cheeks blush bright pink. "Anna, you don't know what will happen in the future. We might just end up being really good friends in the end…" She really hoped that wouldn't happen, but it was a possibility.

Anna rolled her eyes. "Pfft, yeah right. You two will be together forever! I've got a hunch about it."

Elsa chuckled. "I'm sure you do. Now you better run along because it looks like your boyfriend is getting impatient."

Kristoff, who was looking down at the floor in deep thought while the sisters chatted, looked up upon hearing his name being spoken. "What?"

The sisters just laughed at his reaction, both of them finding it a bit cute. "Nothing, nothing," Anna said as she grabbed his arm. "Let's go find Olaf and see if he wants to go with us before we leave."

"He's in Jason's room playing video games with Mephiles and G," Elsa said, moving away from the door so they could enter.

"Thanks!" Anna said before pulling Kristoff into Jason's room and saw Olaf sitting on the floor in front of Mephiles while Gzilla was standing close to the door. "Hi!" she said happily. "What are all of you up to?"

"Hi, Anna! Hi, Kristoff!" Olaf said happily, waving to both of his friends. "Mephiles was about to tell us a story about his mother."

"Really?" Anna asked, looking at Mephiles with a bit of surprise. "I never thought you'd open up about something that seemed so personal to you."

Mephiles turned to her. "You'd be surprised at the things he," he pointed at Olaf, "gets me to do just for him to leave me the hell alone."

"He's just trying to be friendly," Anna said in defense of her snow friend. "Being friendly isn't a bad quality to have. It certainly is better than being such a grouch all the time."

Mephiles just rolled his eyes, not really caring about the faults in his personality and how she saw them.

"Anyways, me, Kristoff, and Sven are going to visit Kristoff's family, and we were wondering if Olaf wanted to come with us," Anna said.

"I would love to go, Anna, but I really want to hear Mephiles' story," Olaf said. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," Anna said with a smile. "We'll see all of you later," she added before leaving the room with Kristoff. Once they left, Gzilla started leaving too.

"Where are you going?" Olaf asked him.

Gzilla turned around as he grabbed the door knob. "I don't want to hear this story again," he said with some sadness. "It's really tragic, and I think once is enough for me. Besides, I think I'm gonna tag along with Anna and Kristoff to make sure nothing bad happens to them on their trip." He left the room and began heading after Anna and Kristoff.

Olaf looked at Mephiles. "I guess it's just you and me, then."

"Before I start, I need to ask you something. Why the hell do you want to hear this story so badly?" Mephiles asked. "You just heard G say it was tragic, and it is."

"I wanted to hear it because I wanted to bond with you a little. I've bonded with your other friends at least some ever since all of you came, but I've never bonded with you. I thought this would be a good time because I'm so happy a lot and thought I could help you get over this and put it behind you if you opened up to someone about what happened to your mom," Olaf said.

"I don't need any help getting over this. I never even brought this matter up. You were the one who wanted to know about this, so don't be saying that I need help with it."

"It might help a little," Olaf said.

Mephiles was growing tired of this pointless conversation and decided to end it. "Whatever, just let me tell the damn story so I can get this over with and get some peace and quiet around here," Mephiles said. And with that, he began the story.

'The year was 1964. The Boston Strangler was captured, the Vietnam War was nearing its second decade, and Beatlemania was sweeping America. I never did understand the popularity with those guys. Anyways, I was only thirteen years old at this time, and my sister Mercilla was only ten. I dunno how old my mother was; my guess would be around her forties. I lived in Bellevue, Washington, but I doubt you even know where that is. The day my mother died started out like an average day just like every other one in my life. While my sister and I went to school, my mom went to her cashier job at a convenience story called Circle K. Now I really don't know what exactly happened to her, so this is only my interpretation of it from what I've heard after the everything already happened.'

Olaf interrupted the story. "Wait, you've never used your power to go see what happened?"

"Why the hell would I want to go watch my mother die with my own eyes?" Mephiles asked, clearly aggravated by discussing this.

"You could have stopped it from happening," Olaf answered.

"True, but it would only create an alternate timeline where she survives and nothing ever happens to me. I'd never become a demon, and I'd never meet Jason or G. None of the other Mephileses I've come across have ever done something like that, so if all of us are this way why should I create a Mephiles who's happy? Besides, I already got my revenge on the ones who killed her. Anyways…" Mephiles started going back to his tale.

'I figure my mom was doing whatever it was that cashiers do when a teenage street thug came into the store.'

As Mephiles' mother, Rose, was cleaning her cash station when a group of eight teenagers gathered around outside the store. She noticed that they were all wearing gang clothing, which made her slightly nervous. Gangs were starting to become big trouble across the nation, and the gang these teens were from was one of the more troublesome gangs. The image of a cobra killing a mongoose on the front of their shirts meant that they were from a local Washington gang called The Cobras. It was a new gang that was formed not too long ago to oppose another gang that called The Mongooses. Apparently, the leader of The Cobras was an ex-Mongoose gang member who had some bad blood with the other members and formed a new gang to take them out. From what Rose heard, The Cobras weren't the ones to be trifled with when it came to withholding things from them, and they could get very violent with the people who were brave enough to do so. Although she didn't look it, Rose was a strong-willed woman who had a hard life, so she knew how to defend herself if trouble arose and wasn't to be underestimated.

One of the boys, a sunglass wearing Caucasian male who appeared to be seventeen or eighteen years old, entered the store with a confident look on his face. Judging by the way he acted around the other boys outside of the store, Rose figured that he was their leader. She kept an eye on him as he walked around the store. If he would happen to try anything funny, Rose would defend herself with the baseball bat that was cleverly hidden out of eyesight from anyone behind her counter, but she hoped it wouldn't have to come to that. "Hello, need help finding anything?" she asked him.

"Naw, I'll get what I want," the teen said as he started randomly grabbing food from the shelves. Once he had an armful of potato chips and other assorted junk food items, he started walking to the door where the other members of his gang were waiting.

"Hey! Come back here and pay for that," Rose said in an authoritative voice that only a mother had.

This caused the teen to stop and turn around. "Or what? You'll preach to me? Call the cops on me? Listen lady, let's just save us both time and hassle, and just let me walk out with this here food. That's what all the other cashiers do."

"Well, I'm not like other cashiers. Either pay me for the food or get the hell out of here with nothing," Rose demanded.

The teen got a smug grin on his face and began laughing, finding the situation comical. "You're new when it comes to this, aren't you? I'll just let you off with a warning this time, but the next time I come here for food, you better remember to show me some respect. You'll live a lot longer." Thinking that this conversation was done, he continued towards the door.

Rose slowly reached down for he baseball bat in a way that wouldn't make him suspicious. "Now it's my turn to let you off with a warning. When I say come back here and pay for what you have, I mean it. I am not going to tolerate shoplifting when I'm on duty, and I most certainly will not stand to be disrespected by you. I don't care who you are or where you come from; you pay for your food like everyone else in America."

Getting aggravated with this persistent lady, the gang leader sharply whipped his body around and began walking to her cash station. "You're not too bright, are you, lady?" he said, throwing the food to floor. "I guess it's time for you to find out what happens to people when they don't listen to me." He fished out a knife he had hidden in his right pant pocket and broke out into a sprint, unaware of what was waiting for him at the cash station.

With her mind instantly going into defense mode, Rose pulled the baseball bat from behind the cash station and swung it as hard as she could when he closed the final two feet that separated him from her station. The bat struck the teen's chest hard, sending him sailing backwards to the ground. He simply laid on the floor with the wind knocked out of him and a look of surprise on his face. He wasn't expecting anyone to actually fight back against him after what happened to the last person who defied him. The other members of his gang came rushing over to their leader's side seconds later and helped him up, all of them glaring daggers at Rose.

"Does anyone else want a taste of this bat, or are all of you going to leave?" Rose asked. She was standing in a batting stance just in case one of them tried to something against her.

Once the gang leader regained his wits, he joined his boys in glaring at Rose. One of his boys spoke to him. "You want us to take her now? We've got her outnumbered."

The sunglass wearing teen shook his head. "No. We'll let her have this one little victory. It'll be the only one she ever has once we're through with her." With that, he got back on his feet with the assistance of his boys. "No one does this to me and lives to brag about it." With that, the gang members left the store.

Even though Rose didn't take his threat seriously, she didn't say anything further as to not provoke him even more. After they left, Rose lowered the bat onto the floor and rubbed her hands across her face. She began trembling a little, wondering just what mess she got herself into. She had a family, and now she might have caused something that put all of them in danger. Once she was sure they were long gone, Rose called the police in order to tell them what happened and to hopefully get some sort of comfort in knowing that something will be done in order to keep her family safe from the rash action she just did.

'Although she drove them off, they weren't done with her. My mother got off work at 2 in the afternoon and drove home so that she could get home before us in order to start making us food for when we came home. She didn't know that the gang members from before trailed her car, and when she got home...' Mephiles closed his eyes tightly, trying to fight back the urge to tear up or cry in front of Olaf. He muttered a swear word under his breath and growled in an attempt to show dominance over his sadness, but it barely helped him.

Seeing that Mephiles was being overwhelmed by his pain, Olaf got up and gave him a hug. "It's okay, don't be afraid to cry."

"Quit hugging me," Mephiles said with clear irritation. This got the snowman to cease hugging him almost immediately. "I don't need a hug. I can get over this on my own, and I can handle this on my own. I don't need your help. Got it?"

Olaf nodded. "I won't hug you unless you tell me to."

"Good."

'Anyways, my mom got home, and then those assholes…came to our house and…beat her to death. When me and Mercilla got home, we saw police cars around our house.'

Marcus and Mercilla were walking home from school on the sidewalk in their small suburban town just like they did everyday, unaware of what happened only a few hours ago. "What do you think mom made us to eat?" Mercilla asked, swinging her Flipper lunch box as she happily skipped beside her brother, making sure to keep pace with his walking speed.

"I don't know, what do I look like, a psychic?" Marcus replied. His mother didn't like Mercilla walking home from school all by herself, so she made him walk her home in order to keep her safe. As Mercilla began replying to his sarcastic response, Marcus noticed a crowd of people around the front of their house and the flashing lights of police cars in the driveway. He interrupted her and pointed to their house. "Merce, something's up."

Mercilla stopped skipping and silently stood by her brother, looking at the scene before them. "What's going on at our house?"

"I don't know," Marcus replied, grabbing her hand. Together, they ran over to the cop cars, and when they got closer, they saw the coroner's vehicle was among them. Suddenly, the crowd of people began moving around, making a path for a gurney that was coming out of their house with a body covered with a white sheet resting on top of it. This made Marcus worried as he began thinking of who the body was and what exactly happened here while he and Mercilla were at school.

"Marcus, who's being taken out of our house?" Mercilla asked as Marcus pulled her over to the nearest police officer, but her brother didn't answer her.

"What's going on, and where's our mom?" Marcus asked the police officer. He hoped with all of his heart that it wasn't his mother, but some nagging feeling inside of him knew that she would be the only person in the house around this time of the day.

The police officer heard Marcus and turned to the two worried children. Figuring that they were the children, he knelt down to their eye level and placed one hand on the boy's shoulder in a comforting manner before telling them the news as gently as possible. "Son, some gang members broke into your house and took your mother by surprise. I'm sorry but...she's gone."

Just as the officer finished giving them the terrible news, both Marcus and Mercilla burst into tears. They ran over to the crowd of people that were now around the coroner's vehicle where the gurney carrying their dead mother was being placed inside and pushed their way past them, running over to the gurney. "Stop! We want to see our mother!" Marcus shouted, causing the coroner's assistant to lower the gurney back down onto the ground. Marcus pulled back some of the sheet covering his mother and was horrified by the sight of her. She had bruises and blood all over her body that looked like they were from sharp blows from blunt-force objects and fists. The worst-looking one was on the left side of her head, and it looked like it was caused by a baseball bat. In random places across her body were both bullet and stab wounds.

The sight of her mother in this state caused Mercilla to scream in both fear and sadness as tears poured from her eyes. "Mommy!" she wailed.

Marcus laid his face onto the sheet and cried hard. With his mother gone, he and his sister were truly alone. Their father left when Marcus was only 3 years old and Rose was pregnant with Mercilla, their grandparents on both sides were dead, and none of their other relatives lived near them, and Marcus seriously doubted that any of them would willingly fly out here just to get them. He felt truly alone in the world.

The memory of that event came rushing into Mephiles like a runaway freight train. His body started to shake as he tried to contain his emotions, but this time he just couldn't do it. It was just too much for him. With a shout that could only be described as one of total loss and rage, Mephiles darted over to the section of wall closest to him and began punching it as hard as he could, roaring his rage as tears ran from his eyes. He continued this for a couple minutes until his rage was gone and all he did was cry. Olaf slowly approached him, unsure of what Mephiles was going to do after witnessing his emotional explosion, and gave him a comforting hug. Olaf was quite surprised when Mephiles actually hugged him back. For the moment, Mephiles was that little thirteen year old boy again. "Why did they have to kill my mommy?" the demon said quietly.

"I don't know," was all Olaf could say. "I guess some people in your universe are just as truly evil as some of the people in mine." He gently stopped hugging Mephiles, figuring that the demon was probably starting to feel uncomfortable now. "What did you do after that?"

The question made the same rage and anger that eliminated the sadness Mephiles felt long ago come once again as he continued the story.

'Somehow, I managed to hear a police officer mention that The Cobras were the gang most likely behind this in his radio over the various noises at the crime scene. The threat their leader made to my mother earlier, along with a torn piece clothing of a section of their gang logo found in the house, were enough evidence to pin the crime on them. The section of the logo that was found was of the mongoose that was being killed by the snake. The police guessed that it was left there to fool the police into thinking that The Mongooses did this so that they would get the blame, but the piece was big enough to notice a small part of the cobra's head which was killing it. The officer on the radio gave the address of The Cobras' hangout so that all available cops could go to their hangout and arrest them, but they didn't know that I heard it and knew exactly how to get there. I didn't want The Cobras to be arrested, though. I wanted them dead. The police officer told me and Mercilla that we needed to get only our personal belongings because he was going to take us to the nearest orphanage, but I wasn't going to follow his plan when I had one of my own.'

When Marcus led his still crying sister into their house by the hand he took her into the kitchen instead of upstairs where their rooms were. This confused Mercilla. "What are you doing, Marcus?" she asked with a sniffle after wiping the tears from her eyes.

"I'm going to go get those guys who killed mom and make them pay," Marcus said as he grabbed a knife from the silverware drawer and placed it in his pocket.

"Marcus! You can't do that! You don't know where they are, and we should leave that to the police," the ten year old girl protested.

"Mercilla," Marcus said, grabbing his sister's shoulders while locking his eyes with hers. "The police are just gonna put them in jail. They need to die and go to Hell!"

The swear word her brother said made Mercilla gasp. "Marcus, you aren't s'posed to cuss!"

"That isn't important right now! What I do care about is making sure that those men pay for destroying our family."

Mercilla shook her head. "No, I don't want you to do this, Marcus! I don't want to lose you too." She began crying again at the thought of being all alone.

"Then come with me. This is something we need to do together anyways, sis. She's our mother, and if anyone should make sure her killers are brought to justice, it's us." Marcus pulled out the knife he had in his pocket and placed it on the table before hugging her. "I'll do everything I can to make sure that no one hurts you. You're my sister, Merce, and you're all I have left."

Mercilla sniffled and wiped her eyes before nodding. "Okay. I'm with you, brother."

Marcus smiled and handed her a knife and put the knife on the table back into his pocket. "Come on, I have one last thing to get before we sneak out." He led her upstairs to their mother's room, more specifically to her closet. Marcus opened the closet door and tried to reach the box that was kept out of reach on the high shelf. Unable to reach it, Marcus got Rose's nightstand and pushed it close enough to the closet.

"Marcus, what are you doing?" Mercilla asked.

"Getting mom's gun," Marcus replied. Rose kept a gun hidden in her closet so that if something happened she could defend herself. Unfortunately, she didn't have enough time to get it before she was assaulted by The Cobras. Once Marcus had the box in his hands, he brought it down and got off the nightstand. Upon opening the box, he pulled out the gun, a 357 Magnum, and carefully placed it in his other pocket. He didn't know if it was empty or loaded, if the safety was on or off, and he didn't know how to check either of them.

Mercilla watched this with wide eyes. "Marcus," she said in a fearful voice. "Mommy told us to never play with the gun."

"I'm not playing with it, I'm going to use it properly. I've watched enough cop shows and movies to know how to safely use a gun, sis. We've got everything we need, so let's go before someone finds out what we're doing." With that, Marcus led his sister downstairs and out the backdoor without the cops outside ever suspecting a thing.

Traveling through the forest about a half mile away from Arendelle were Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Gzilla. Anna and Kristoff rode on Sven's back while Gzilla followed beside. The reindeer trotted along so that his saurian friend could keep pace and not get left behind. Ever since they left Arendelle, Anna, Kristoff, and Gzilla talked about the reason for their visit to the Valley of the Living Rock. A couple days ago, a troll messenger arrived at Kristoff's cabin and told him that the other trolls, especially Cliff and Bulda, wanted Kristoff and Anna to come visit them for the day. After a couple moments of silence that followed, Anna started a different conversation. "So G, is there anyone special in your life," she asked, winking suggestively at him.

Gzilla's face turned slightly red since he knew what she was implying. "No. I seriously doubt any girl would want me."

"Don't say that. I'm sure there's someone out there for you," Anna said reassuringly.

"She's right, you know," Kristoff added. "I used to think that I would be alone with trolls for the rest of my life, but hey, look at me now. I'm dating the most beautiful girl in the kingdom."

"Awww," Anna said, blushing. "You are way too kind." She kissed Kristoff's cheek before turning back to Gzilla. "You've just got to believe it."

"But who could ever love me? Look at what I am," Gzilla said, motioning to his body. "I'm not a normal human, and I doubt there's another person, let alone a woman, who is even remotely like me physically. I don't think any woman in an universe would be able to handle my repulsive body," he said with a rather sad tone, looking at the ground.

"Now you don't know that for sure. I truly believe that there is some wonderful, beautiful woman somewhere who will love you for the person you are on the inside rather than how you look on the outside. I've known you for a long time now, and I think you're a wonderful, kind, and caring person, G. If I can see that, I just know someone else can see it too," Anna said.

Hearing that brought a smile to Gzilla's face and raised his spirits. "That..that really meant a lot to hear someone say that."

"Hey, I would never lie to a friend," Anna said.

Unbeknownst to them, something, or someone in this case, was watching them from the forest shadows. Bagan slowly emerged from the shadow of a tall tree, making absolute sure that he wouldn't be noticed by the group of Jason's friends who were traveling nearby. He heard everything that they were talking about, which disgusted him. To him, love was a waste of time and it served no true purpose aside from self pleasure. At least that's what he thought. After waiting for the past few days, Bagan decided that now would be the time he begun the first test whether Gigantis was here or not. If he was, wonderful, but if not, Bagan was sure that he soon would be once King Cobra began causing trouble. He turned from Jason's friends to the shadow he just emerged from and spoke to it quietly. "To me, my pet."

Seconds later, King Cobra emerged from the shadow and slithered over to its master. After petting its head affectionately, Bagan began speaking to it. "The time has come to prove Gigantis' worth to me as an opponent." The demon motioned to Jason's friends. "You will scare and chase them back to Arendelle and terrorize the people there in order to draw Gigantis out, but do not destroy any part of the kingdom. I wish to do that myself once I am physically capable." Once the snake acknowledged his orders, Bagan led it back into the shadows and teleported away.

When the two demonic entities emerged from the shadows of another tree located far ahead of Jason's friends, Bagan began infusing more of his power into King Cobra, causing it to grow and grow until the beast was 652 feet long and 40 feet tall in regards to the distance from its belly to its backside. "Now go, King Cobra!" Bagan mentally commanded. With a hiss of acknowledgment, King Cobra slithered through the forest, pushing aside and snapping trees as it moved towards its prey. Bagan smirked in satisfaction before returning to the shadows.

Just as Anna was in the middle of telling Gzilla about the way she felt back when Hans broke her heart in order to relate to him, but the sound of trees being uprooted, snapped in half, and any other sounds that an enormous creature clearing its way through a forest would make. The ground began rumbling and shaking as something large was getting closer and closer to them. "What's going on?!" Anna shouted, clinging to Kristoff as Sven let out some confused sounds and came to a screeching halt. Then the ground stopped shaking and the noises went away as soon as they started.

Gzilla and the others looked all around in order to figure what was going on when they all saw the enormous head of King Cobra rise into the air over the trees. Everyone froze at the sight of such a fearsome looking snake as it scanned the area for its prey.

"Oh this is so not good..." Gzilla muttered.

"RUN!" Anna shouted.

"Go, Sven, go!" Kristoff shouted, making Sven gallop back to Arendelle with Gzilla running after them as fast as he could. King Cobra spotted the movement and saw his prey retreating back in the direction his master wanted them to go in. With a loud hiss, King Cobra lowered its upper half and began chasing after them, smashing its way through various trees. Although it didn't appear to be doing anything other than chasing after them, King Cobra was actually releasing invisible waves of dark energy from its hood that was causing intense fear in Gzilla, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven.

"Oh my god, what are we gonna do?!" Anna shouted, too afraid to look behind her from fear of seeing the snake's awful face again.

"We need to get back to Arendelle and have Mephiles bring Jason back," Gzilla shouted. "Let's just hope that we can get there before that thing gets us."

'Me and Mercilla snuck into The Cobra's hangout, which was actually just a rundown apartment building,' Mephiles monologued. 'There were a couple of sentries keeping watch out for the cops, but somehow we managed to sneak by them and get inside the building without too much of a hassle. It felt so easy, and at the time I thought that it would be just that; easy. I thought that me and Mercilla would catch them by surprise and I'd kill them with my mom's pistol, but I thought wrong. Everything went downhill once we found them.'

Inside the rundown apartment building, Marcus and Mercilla were pressing their bodies against a wall in a small T intersection hallway. The hallway's appearance was quite evident to how rundown the building was, what with some rooms missing entire doors while some had plywood blocks fashioned into X's blocking their doorways. Small pieces of furniture such as radios and chairs lay broken and weathered on the floor. Marcus and Mercilla had just found where the gang members were, but they had a problem: there were way more people than they expected to be inside the room. The room was just a few feet from where they were at, so Marcus quietly crept over to the doorway and peeked inside to do a second head count. Sixteen people; just like before. He quickly pulled his head back before anyone could spot him. "Sixteen people, just like before," Marcus whispered to his sister.

"Marcus, what are we gonna do? There's too many of them," Mercilla whispered, looking at her brother with scared eyes.

"Then I guess we'll have to take out as many as we can," Marcus whispered back. He was scared out of his wits, but he wasn't going back out now. The anger that was consuming him wasn't going to allow him to run away and let someone else handle what he had a right to do.

Mercilla began having doubts about their plan. "I don't think I can kill someone, Marcus," Mercilla quietly whined. She didn't want to do this. It seemed wrong, and she was terrified about losing her brother and her own life to the sixteen criminals in the next room.

Marcus gently grabbed her shoulders and looked her right in the eyes. "Then find someway to get over that because we can't back out now. Don't chicken out on me now, Mercilla. This is for our mother."

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" came a voice from behind Marcus. It caused the two children's eyes to widen in fear as they turned around and saw that one member of The Cobras had found them. "I thought I heard some whispering coming from out in the hallway," the seventeen year old white male with a tattoo of a king cobra on his right arm said. Before Marcus or Mercilla could make a run for it, the gang member grabbed them both by the arm and dragged them into the room where the other gang members were. "Hey boss, look what I found snooping around outside in the hall." The tattooed teen shoved Marcus and Mercilla to the floor with a laugh as Mercilla began crying.

The gang leader, the same sunglass wearing teen who threatened Rose earlier that day, looked at the children in amusement. "I was expecting police officers, not two members of the Munchkin Patrol."

Marcus pushed himself off the floor and helped his sister up before giving her a brief comforting hug before he looked the sixteen teenagers with a hateful glare. "Which one of you slime balls was the one who killed my mother?"

This caused the gang members to laugh, finding it amusing what Marcus said amusing. The gang leader, who was also laughing, raised his right hand, silencing his boys. "I never knew the broad had children."

"That 'broad' was my only family!" Marcus shouted. "Which one of you killed her?!"

The gang leader looked at Marcus with mock surprise at his rage-filled outburst. "If you must know, I was the one who killed her. No one tells the leader of The Cobras what to..." He was interrupted by Marcus' rage-filled howl of complete and utter hatred as the thirteen year old boy charged at him. None of the other gang members did anything because they thought their leader could handle some punk kid, but they were very wrong. Marcus avoided the right hook that the gang leader threw at him, grabbed the knife in his pocket, tackled the teenager to the ground, and plunged the knife's blade straight into his heart.

"I hope you go straight to Hell," Marcus hissed at the dying gang leader before yanking the knife out and tossing it aside. The second after he killed their leader, the other gang members began rushing at him, causing him to pull out his mother's gun.

Marcus' courage had managed to inspire Mercilla into overcoming her fear. She wasn't going to let any of these gang members get her brother no matter what. Mercilla charged at the closest gang member and threw all of her weight into him as she tackled him from behind, knocking him to the ground with her on top of his back. She pulled out the knife in her pocket and stabbed the teenager through the back of his neck. The blade struck his spinal cord, but her thrust wasn't powerful enough to cause the blade to break it, but it was enough to leave the teenager paralyzed on the ground. She left him there as she went after another one.

Fortunately for Marcus, his mother's Magnum was both loaded and had the safety off. What he wasn't ready for was the kickback and the noise. When Marcus fired the gun, he shot one gang member in the shoulder, sending the gang member to the ground in addition to causing Marcus to fall on his butt from the recoil. "Ow, my ears are ringing," he said, finding it hard to hear his own words. Luckily, the fact the Marcus fired off a gun caused the other gang members to be hesitant about making a move on him. Marcus quickly recovered as adrenaline began flowing through his blood as bloodlust began setting in. He wanted all of them to die for what they did to his mother. He fired off two more shots, one hitting a gang member through the throat, killing him, and the other hit another gang member's chest, wounding him. Marcus fired off another shot, wounding yet another gang member when the bullet went through his stomach. Just as he was about to fire off another bullet, he heard something that made his heart skip a beat.

"Marcus, help!" It was Mercilla. She had been easily subdued by a gang member, who was holding against the wall by her throat while he held her knife against her stomach in his other hand. She looked at him pleadingly.

"Drop the gun and she'll live, punk!" shouted the gang member holding her hostage.

Marcus looked at the scene before him with wide eyes. Everything about getting revenge for his mother's death suddenly became unimportant in the face of his sister's life being threatened. "Okay," he said. Slowly, he leaned over and placed the Magnum on the ground. "Now let her go!" Marcus shouted as another gang member picked up the weapon and three others grabbed Marcus.

"You know what, you kids have both caused us a lot of trouble today!" shouted the gang member holding Mercilla. "All we did was kill your stupid mother, yet you kill our leader and harm a couple of our boys! I think it's time both of you saw your mommy." He nodded at the gang member who held the handgun. The gun was aimed at Mercilla, who began crying loudly.

"Marcus, help me!" But it was too late for her. The gang member with the Magnum shot her through the skull, killing her instantly.

"NO!" Marcus shouted, tears pouring from his eyes at the sight of his own sister's death. The rage he felt from losing two people he cared about and loved deeply to these hoodlums, along with the fact that he failed to keep his promise to his mother about keeping Mercilla safe, gave him the strength to break free from the gang members holding him and tackle the one who just shot his sister. Marcus wrestled with the teenager to get his mother's gun back. During this struggle, the only thing on his mind was the pleasure he would get from killing all of them, which gave him the strength he needed to get the gun out of the gang member's hand. He shot the teenager through the head and turned around quickly to see the remaining Cobra gang members coming right at him. He fired the handgun three more times, each shot killing a gang member. Unfortunately, he didn't know that he fired his last three shots. Marcus pulled the trigger again in order to kill some more, but nothing happened. The remaining gang members realized that he was out of bullets, so they rushed him at once and pinned him to the floor. As one teenager retrieved the knife that killed their leader, Marcus looked at all of them with hate-filled eyes. "I'll kill each and every one of you. I promise this. No matter what it takes, I will find and kill you for what you've done."

"Yeah, I highly doubt that," said the gang member holding the knife. The teenager plunged the knife into Marcus' heart, killing him.

Mephiles closed his eyes as he remembered how that pain he felt when it happened all those years ago. "I've...never forgiven myself for what happened to Mercilla." He opened his eyes slowly. "When we were sent to Hell because of everything we did, she said that all of it was my fault and that she would never forgive me. After that, I've protected her from whatever mess she got herself into so I could redeem myself and keep my promise to my mother."

"I'm so sorry, Mephiles," Olaf said sadly. "Do you and your sister still talk to each other?"

"Yeah, she still talked to me. At least, until I was banished from Hell. We stayed close, but that was only because we were still family. She separated herself from me very quickly when we first came to Hell and over time changed into someone who was very different from the girl she used to be. Technically, I made her become who she is today. I've only seen her three times in the past three years ever since the banishment, but that's only because Satan allows her to visit me once per year," Mephiles said, looking out the window.

Olaf was silent for a few moments before speaking again. "Did you keep your promise to the bad guys?"

Mephiles chuckled in amusement. "Oh yes. The moment after I was out of Hell I began searching for them with help from the Internet. I found the ones that were still alive and slaughtered them as brutally as I could." He began laughing evilly, but it was interrupted by the sound of a loud hiss. "What was that?" He opened the window and floated outside. The noise sounded like it came from behind the castle, and once he floated to an area where he could see the forest behind Arendelle, he saw an enormous snake chasing Gzilla, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven into the village. "Oh you have got to be kidding me," he muttered under his breath before floating back inside.

"What's going on?" Olaf asked.

"There's a big snake coming here," Mephiles said as he floated back into the room. As quickly as he returned, he floated out into the hallway.

"Oh my gosh!" Olaf shouted and ran after him. "Where are you going?"

"To find Elsa so she can give me my iPhone to call Jason with. I just hope I can reach him," Mephiles said. Suddenly, the demon stopped and turned to face the snowman. "Oh, and Olaf. If you ever tell anyone you saw me cry, I will rip you apart limb by limb and portal your body parts into a volcano." He gave Olaf a serious look to show that he wasn't kidding.

Olaf nodded and smiled. "I won't tell anyone. I promise."

"Good." And with that, Mephiles darted off to find Elsa. It didn't take him too long because he nearly ran into her when she was running to Jason's room in order to find out what that noise was.

"What's going on?" Elsa asked. "I heard this loud hiss and..."

Mephiles interrupted her. "There's a big snake outside. Give me my iPhone so I can call Jason. Hopefully I can reach him."

Elsa quickly handed him the device and watched as Mephiles dialed Jason's number. "What do you mean 'hopefully'? He should still be on that Navy ship."

"I hope you're right," Mephiles muttered as he held the phone to his face. It rang a couple times before it went through.

"Hello?" came Jason's sleepy voice. It sounded like he been woken up from a peaceful sleep.

"It's Mephiles. There's a giant snake monster here, and I need to know where you are so I can bring you here to fight it."

"I'm on the USS Saratoga."

"You're gonna have to be more specific than that since I've never been there before. I can't just..." The phone call ended right as Mephiles was about to explain the rules of his portals, causing him to growl angrily. "I hate it when he hangs up on me mid-sentence!" Seconds later, Mephiles received a text message from Jason which had a picture of the berthing space he was in aboard the ship. Without saying another word, Mephiles handed his iPhone back to Elsa and opened a portal.

"You know where he is?" Elsa asked.

"Would I be going into a portal if I didn't?" Mephiles retorted before entering it.

As the portal closed behind him, Elsa scoffed. "You didn't have to be such a jerk about your answer."

USS Saratoga Berthing Space

September 24, 2014

Jason was sitting on his bunk that was located inside one of the Saratoga's berthing spaces as he waited for Mephiles to arrive. There wasn't much space to move around in regards to the close proximity to the two stacks of bunks on either side of him. Fortunately, everyone was too busy running around the ship in preparation for their arrival in San Francisco later that evening to be there with him. He didn't know the military had so much to do behind the scenes when it came to setting up an assault against a giant monster. He just thought that they simply deployed military vehicles without much hassle. Before he could think about it for too long, the sound of Mephiles' portal opening in front of him caught his attention. He watched as Mephiles emerged from the portal and started looking around the room.

"This is where they said you could sleep at? I would have thought that they'd give someone like you a VIP room rather than stick you in the same room where the soldiers on the ship sleep," Mephiles said.

"Stop criticizing the place I've slept at for only one hour and just get me to Arendelle. I don't think everyone here would like it if they came here and discovered I was missing, so I don't have much time," Jason replied as he went over to Mephiles.

"Pfft, don't you remember that I can just portal you back here five minutes or so after we've left once you're done taking care of the snake?" Mephiles asked. He opened up another portal once Jason morphed into Gigantis, but stopped him just before the six-foot saurian entered. "Hey, just so you know, for some reason this thing has as a demonic presence around it, so just be careful."

Gigantis nodded. "Thanks for telling me and for being concerned. I'll keep that in mind." With that being said, Gigantis rushed into the portal with Mephiles following behind. When they exited the portal, they were a few miles outside of Arendelle, behind the village to be more specific, and only a few yards away from an enormous and rather demonic-looking king cobra. Seeing as how it looked somewhat similar to his universe's King Cobra, Gigantis decided to call give it the same name. Its head was raised 246 feet off the ground and appeared to be searching for something. Gigantis watched Mephiles head to the forest without King Cobra spotting him. Knowing he didn't have much time before it realized he was there, Gigantis quickly grew to 190 feet.

King Cobra was badly startled when it saw Gigantis come out of nowhere so close to it, which caused it to draw its body away so quickly that the raised portion of its body came crashing down on the ground while the rest of its body slithered off to the side in order to put some distance between itself and Gigantis. Once it was back up, King Cobra got into a threatened position with its hood fully extended, hissing aggressively at Gigantis. Somehow, it sensed that this was the being its master wanted it to fight. King Cobra eyed its smaller opponent carefully, waiting for him to make the first move.

Gigantis eyed King Cobra as well. He knew how dangerous the King Cobra in his universe was, as well as regular-sized king cobras, so he had to be very careful about how he launched his attacks. His dorsal plates started flashing blue, but before he could even start charging his Atomic Ray, King Cobra's upper body lunged forward with lightning-fast speed. The demonic snake headbutted Gigantis in the chest, sending the saurian falling to the ground. Not wanting his dorsal plates to be embedded into the ground like they have been in countless other battles, Gigantis twisted his body around so that he landed on his side when he crashed onto the ground. Just as he was getting up, King Cobra shot its head toward him with jaws wide open. Gigantis shoved himself off the ground and away from King Cobras as its jaws snapped shut where he had been only seconds earlier. King Cobra lunged forward again seconds after its first strike, causing Gigantis to push himself away once again. As the demonic snake let out a hiss that sounded very much like sadistic laughter, Gigantis snorted irritatedly and got back on his feet. King Cobra was pushing him back towards Arendelle, so he needed to back King Cobra up before their battle reached the village.

With a plan in mind, Gigantis started charging up his Atomic Ray again, hoping that King Cobra will try to stop him again like before. Just as he expected, King Cobra lunged its jaws at Gigantis, but Gigantis leaped back while he swung his right fist downward, causing King Cobra's bite to miss while he was bashed over the head with a powerful blow. As King Cobra shook off the daze it received seconds before, Gigantis quickly dashed over and delivered a powerful uppercut to its lower jaw.

The blow made the raised portion of King Cobra's body fall back onto the ground as he hissed in pain and irritation. Then Gigantis began slamming his fists against its body. These blows were very different compared to the ones it felt from before. That was because Gigantis was channeling his nuclear energy into his fists, enhancing the damage his physical attacks caused. After three nuclear-charged punches, King Cobra thrashed its body in an attempt to get away, causing a section of its body to slam into Gigantis with the force of a powerful whip. Gigantis roared as he was sent crashing to the ground, allowing the demonic snake to turn around and slither back to the forest, putting some distance between itself and Gigantis once again.

Not too far away from the battling titans, Bagan watched the fight from the forest. He saw that the recent blow that Gigantis took knocked the wind out of him, providing an opening that King Cobra could take advantage of.

"What the hell are you?!" Mephiles shouted at Bagan right before he could give King Cobra the mental command. Right after he and Gigantis returned to Arendelle, Mephiles sensed the presence of another demon. Wanting to check this out, Mephiles followed the energy trail the new demon was giving off, which was how he found Bagan.

Unfortunately, Bagan didn't want any of Jason's friends finding out about him this early, so he dissolved his body into black liquid which quickly reformed into a pony-sized scorpion. "Nothing you need to concern yourself with!" Bagan shouted in a voice that wasn't his own. He swung one of his pincers at Mephiles, knocking the humanoid-hedgehog demon to the ground.

Mephiles grunted in mild pain as he pushed himself up. "Oh, you've just messed with the wrong guy." Although he talked tough, Mephiles didn't have the chance to do anything when a now cow-sized scorpion Bagan grabbed Mephiles by the throat with one of his pincers and began closing it.

"I'm soooo scared," Bagan said, continuing to use a false voice. He began chuckling sinisterly as he squeezed his pincer shut more and more, intending to slice Mephiles' head off. While he did this, Bagan sent out his mental command to King Cobra, but what he didn't know was Mephiles bought Gigantis enough time to recover.

King Cobra let out a confused hiss of pleasure as it wondered why its master wanted it to lunge at a now charging Gigantis, but still did as ordered. The demonic snake sprung its head at Gigantis with its jaws wide-open. This caught Gigantis completely by surprise since the snake hadn't done anything while he was getting back up. King Cobra's jaws snapped shut on the saurian's left shoulder blade, causing him to let out a howl of pain as King Cobra began pumping its paralyzing venom into his systems.

Alarmed at the fact he was already starting to feel the effects of the venom, Gigantis unleashed a Nuclear Pulse from his body which blasted King Cobra away from him, leaving a nasty gash in his shoulder from where the snake's fangs were forcibly ripped away from his flesh. Gigantis growled in pain as disorientation began setting in. Knowing he didn't have long to finish the snake off before he collapsed, Gigantis charged over to the fallen snake. King Cobra was hissing and writhing around in pain from the force of the Nuclear Pulse and the burns it left on its body and mouth, Gigantis slammed his right foot on top of the demon snake's body, pinning it to the ground.

Bagan looked at Mephiles gasp and squirm with pleasure. He had never killed another demon before, which was exciting for him. Although demons were pretty much immortal to anything, they were weak against angels and other holy creatures and other demons. Fortunately for Mephiles, Bagan wouldn't get the chance. King Cobra's pain-filled hisses caused Bagan to slightly ease up his pincer's pressure on Mephiles' throat as he turned to find out what was going on in the battle. What he saw intrigued him. Gigantis had King Cobra pinned down on the ground and was pulling the snake's mouth open. Bagan tossed Mephiles against a tree as hard as he could. The lack of oxygen in addition to his body's impact against the tree briefly knocked Mephiles unconscious moments before he landed on the ground in a heap. Bagan watched with interest as Gigantis fired his Atomic Ray down King Cobra's throat. After a few moments of the beam continuously firing down its throat, the demonic snake's head was severed from the rest of its body, which became a lifeless heap of flesh.

Instead of erupting into rage, Bagan simply chuckled in amusement at the sight. "Very creative. You're turning out to be a very promising opponent, Gigantis."

Mephiles groaned slightly as he forced his eyes open. "That was pleasant," he said sarcastically as he got back up. "Now where is that bast..." Just as he said that, he watched the mystery demon dissolve into the shadows and just disappear. After uttering a rather nasty swear, Mephiles looked over at Gigantis to see if he was okay. To his surprise, King Cobra's dead body was gone, and Gigantis was kneeling on one knee to keep his body from falling over. Seeing that something was wrong with his friend, Mephiles portalled himself over to him. "Are you okay?"

Gigantis shook his head. "No. King Cobra bit me and injected its poison into me. Portal me back to the Saratoga so they can get some anti-snake venom inside me," he said. "Tell everyone that I'll be fine and that I'll be back as soon as the MUTO are dead."

Mephiles nodded and waited for Gigantis to shrink down to six feet before portalling him back to the Saratoga. Once Gigantis left, Mephiles opened a portal to the castle, wondering who that mysterious new demon could be and if it would be back anytime soon.

The Southern Isles

Upon Bagan's return to Hans' castle, Hans got up from his throne and walked over to the demon, seeing as how King Cobra wasn't with him. He was a bit hesitant to ask the demon how the battle went since he didn't know how he would react to the question. Almost as if Bagan read his mind, the demon gave him the answer.

"King Cobra failed; Gigantis won."

"That's good, right?" Hans replied.

"Of course, but it was only the first test. The next one will be much harder, though," Bagan said with a smirk as he was already beginning to plan the next test in his twisted mind.

Arendelle

It wasn't until later that evening that Jason's friends saw him again, but it was through the television. Everyone aside from Mephiles had been worrying about him after witnessing him getting bitten by King Cobra and heard from Mephiles that its venom was in his body. The fact that Mephiles encountered a new and incredibly violent demon that could be lurking anywhere in Arendelle didn't make things better. After what happened today, Anna and Kristoff decided to hold off going to visit his troll family until Jason came home out of fear that they'd run into another giant monster. Elsa and the others were all relieved when Mephiles told them that Gigantis appeared to be alright when CNN began broadcasting their live footage of him battling the MUTO alongside Godzilla. From the look of things, Gigantis seemed much better than he did before he left, meaning that the venom had been taken care of. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf were surprised by how Godzilla looked. The figured that he would look like an older version of Gigantis, but he and Gigantis had some significant differences.

Godzilla was 196 feet tall, only six feet taller than Gigantis. His head was slightly slimmer and his snout was a bit longer than Gigantis' snout. His skin was a darker green color with some gray mixed in and he had a gray underbelly. He had much more dorsal plates running down his neck from the top of his head than Gigantis, and the plates running along his tail got a slightly forward-curved hook shape to them as they reached the end of his tail. Other than those minor details, they looked almost the same.

The female MUTO seemed to be a little under the height of Gigantis but much taller than its mate, coming in at 177 feet tall. The female had the same overall body shape as the male (arrow-shaped head with beak-like mouth, two tiny arms connected to its chest, and two hoofed feet), but instead of wings, it had two additional sets of hooked limbs.

In the battle's begnning, the MUTOs used their EMP attacks to put a stop to any and all military interference. It was only when Godzilla and Gigantis appeared that the battle got intense due to the MUTOs fiercly protecting their nest from the two saurian kaiju. For a little while it seemed that the two MUTO would overpower them, but the destruction of their nest by a group of soldiers captured their attention, allowing Godzilla and Gigantis to turn the tides of the battle.

As of now, Gigantis was dealing with the male MUTO while Godzilla dealt with the female. The male managed to get out of Gigantis' choke hold by flapping his wings and thrashing about, knocking the saurian over. As the male MUTO lifted up into the air, it caught sight of its mate being pummeled by Godzilla. Gigantis scrambled back on his feet so that he could stop the male from performing a double-team on his adopted father. The male didn't get too far before he was yanked out of the sky by Gigantis, who swung the MUTO around by the foot, slamming him against the nearest skyscraper. Unfortunately, Gigantis didn't really think out that action through because the skyscraper came tumbling down on top of him and the male. Seconds before the building fell on them, Gigantis managed to do an important position shift. The sound of the crashing building got the attention of both Godzilla and the Female MUTO, putting an end to their grappling scuffle as they disengaged from each other and went over to check on their loved ones.

In Arendelle, everyone looked at the TV in shock as the CNN helicopter that was broadcasting this footage flew over the debris-strewn area. Suddenly, the area where Gigantis and the male MUTO were buried under massive amounts of debris exploded outward as Gigantis smashed his way out. The male MUTO was impaled on his dorsal plates since Gigantis cleverly positioned the male behind him before the building fell on them.

As Gigantis shook his body in an attempt to dislodge the dead MUTO from his back, the female MUTO roared in outrage and sadness at the death of her mate before charging at Gigantis like a rhinoceros. Godzilla charged after the female so he could intercept her in time to prevent her from reaching his adopted son, but he wasn't fast enough. The female MUTO plowed into Gigantis head-on, sending the saurian's body sailing a couple yards across the ground while at the same time dislodging the male's body. After taking a few seconds to recover his wits, Gigantis started pushing himself off the ground, but the female slammed her massive body into him once again when he was halfway up, sending him crashing through a couple of buildings. Gigantis roared in mild pain as she rushed him and began stabbing and slamming her four front hooked limbs into his body repeatedly until Godzilla came to his rescue.

Godzilla slammed his shoulder into the female's back, grabbing her two right arms with his arms while he sunk his teeth into her shoulder. This caused the female to elicit a roar of surprise and pain, but Godzilla ignored it as he released his jaws' grip on her shoulder so he could forcefully turn her around to face him. He slashed her face with his claws as he got into a skirmish with her to get a grip on her beak-like jaws. Using his superior strength, Godzilla was able to get a firm grip on her jaws, pried them open, and unleashed his Atomic Ray down her throat. A few moments, her head was severed from her body which fell to the street with a sickening thud.

Elsa watched the screen and chuckled. "Looks like Jason taught his dad the new move he did today." She watched Gigantis' fight with King Cobra from a safe distance once Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Gzilla reached the village.

Jason's friends cheered at the sight of Gigantis getting up to join his father in a victorious roar. As the news anchor monologued over the heartwarming scene of Godzilla patting Gigantis' shoulder before returning to the ocean. Mephiles opened a portal. "Better bring him back," he said before entering it. A few minutes later, Mephiles and Jason exited the portal.

Everyone gave Jason a hug, which was followed by applause and cheers from his friends. Jason went over to Elsa and hug her tightly. "Toldja I'd be back," he said, winking at her.

Elsa playfully rolled her eyes and shook her head before pulling him in for a kiss. Once they stopped, she smiled and said "Welcome home".

He smiled at her. "I'm glad to be home. The past couple days have been really exhausting, and I could really go for a long nap." Fight a giant prehistoric insect, swimming after said insect from Japan to the coast of America, and then fighting a giant demon snake followed by two prehistoric insects with hardly any rest inbetween really took a toll on him. Jason nuzzled into Elsa's cheek before laying down on his bed.

Elsa kisses his head and stroked his hair. "Sweet dreams." Everyone left the room so that he could rest peacefully.

Once Jason turned off the TV, he closed his eyes and went into a deep sleep.

A/N: I do have an announcement to make regarding this story. I have started planning (more like getting a firm idea of what I want to happen) a sort of sequel for this story. I say "sort of sequel" because it is actually a big crossover story involving characters from this story with characters from my other stories (Jason's Journey, Sonic Gets Tangled/Hedgehog and Bow) and a story that I have developed but decided not to do (a Transformers G1/Frozen crossover). Not gonna give away too much about it, but there will have something to do with the Rise of the Brave Tangled Frozen Dragons fandom. Hopefully this time I'll have the next chapter up on time.
