Double Trouble

Unknown kingdom, Europe

July 15, 1789

In the interior of Europe's land there lay a small kingdom surrounded by dense and forbading woods. In the past, this was a peaceful land, but recent events were starting to change that. For the past few days, something began killing villagers one-by-one in the dead of night. Whenever their bodies were found the next morning, they were horribly mutilated in a way that no human being should be. Their bodies were covered with claw marks and their faces had looks of pure fear frozen on them. The darkness that came with night covered the kingdom like a blanket would a young child. Everyone laid in their beds, fearful of the fact that if they go to sleep there might be a chance they would never wake up again. Inside a small cottage, an elderly woman sat up in her bed holding onto a knife for dear life. She thought that if she was awake she'd have a better chance of defending herself if whatever was behind the killings decided to come to her cottage, but in her old age she wouldn't be able to stay awake forever. She was already starting to get tired, but her fear was the only thing that prevented herself from giving in to the urge to slumber.

Suddenly, she caught some slight movement in the moonlight that shone in through her window. Her heart began to race as she slowly reached for the oil lamp that was on the nightstand beside her bed, praying that her mind was playing a trick on her. Slowly, she turned the knob that ignited the oil inside the lamp and did a full sweep of the room. Seeing that she was all alone, she sighed in relief before turning off the lamp. Seconds later, she heard what sounded like deep breathing and felt hot breath on the right side of her neck. Although she had a strong feeling that it was the killer's doing, she needed to make sure in the desperate hope her mind was playing tricks on her again. With trembling fingers, she turned the lamp back on and looked to her right.

Bagan let out a ferocious snarl that made the elderly woman scream in pure fear once she saw him. The woman swung the lamp at his head, but it wasn't fast enough. He halted the swing by grabbing her wrist and gave her a twisted smirk. With relative ease, Bagan crushed her wrist with the squeeze of his hand, causing the woman to drop the oil lamp out of her hand, causing it to fall onto the bed. Fortunately, the lamp didn't shatter once it hit the mattress. The woman tried to grab it with her other hand, but Bagan prevented her from getting too close by increasing his grip on her wrist. As she groaned in pain and tried to pry his fingers off, Bagan grabbed the lamp. As soon as he released his grip on her wrist, he smashed the lamp against the far end of her bed, catching it on fire.

The elderly woman screamed in fear as tried to get away from the flames that were slowly spreading on and around the left side of her bed while clutching her shattered wrist. The sight made Bagan laugh in amusement. As if she could actually escape the fate he had in store for her. "Your time has come, old one. Now you will spend all of eternity as fuel for my power!" Bagan said to her. With the fire spreading around her and a horrible demonic killer in front of her, the woman knew escape was impossible. She closed her eyes and hoped that he killed her before the fire reached her body. Bagan slashed the front of her chest with his razor sharp claws, piercing her flesh and turning her white bed sheets red with spilled blood. In an act of pure sadism, Bagan backhanded the elderly woman's face, knocking her into the fire that was now consuming half of her bed. He watched the woman writhe in glee until he could sense her life force was fading away. Now it was time for the finale. Not bothered at all by the flames, Bagan reached into the woman's chest and yanked out her soul. With her soul gone and the fire consuming her body, the elderly woman's life faded away as the fire began to engulf the room and spread throughout the rest of the cottage. Bagan shadow teleported out of the bedroom and emerged in the shadows of the the forest. For a short time, he watched as the flames began spreading to the cottage's exterior. Fire always fascinated him due to it being beautiful yet deadly at the same time, and he would always gaze into it whenever he had the time. It was the only thing he could ever find true beauty in. The arrival of other villagers snapped Bagan back to reality. As they began to try to put out the fire, he decided it was time to go on his way. "And now it's time to start phase two," Bagan said before disappearing into the shadows once again.

Arendelle, Norway

Bagan appeared in Jason's bedroom, but stayed in the darkness so he could make sure no one would see him. The only light in the room came from the moonlight that shone in through the open window, but with his night vision, Bagan saw that Jason was fast asleep in bed. Seeing that he was in no danger of being spotted, the demon slithered his body out from his hiding place and began searching for the book detailing Jason's universe.

Many months earlier, Bagan came to Jason's room when Jason and his friends weren't around and discovered a book containing information about the universe Jason came from and all the giant creatures that inhabit it. Upon seeing King Cobra's biography page, it inspired Bagan to create his own version of the snake kaiju. Like before, he was going to create his own version of a previously existing monster, but this time he would have to be more careful in his selection. Once he reached the book shelf, he pulled the book out silently and placed it on the ground. As he silently flipped through the pages, he judged which kaiju would be the lucky ones he would create to test Gigantis.

Instead of just making one giant monster to test Jason's abilities, he was going to make two. Bagan knew that doing so on his own would really set him back in terms of regaining his power, but fortunately he wasn't going to be the one creating them. After a few moments of looking, Bagan stopped on the page with a four-legged monster named Baragon that had big floppy ears, a small nasal horn, huge claws, and a big tooth-filled mouth. This one had potential, but Bagan would have to make some big changes to his version of it. He continued looking for another monster and found it when he came to Krystalak. It was bipedal, had a white underbelly with purple spikes covering almost every inch of its body, and had a crystal beard. Seeing that this one wouldn't require too many changes, Bagan decided that this would be the first creation.

With his two choices in mind, Bagan put the book back on the shelf and began heading for the door. Now it was time to create them. He began dissolving his body into black liquid and slid through the crack out into the hallway. There was only one other person around that could create sentient life other than him, and that person was Elsa. Using her ice magic, he would make his monsters. Bagan slid into her room and went up the side of her bed. He saw that Elsa was sleeping somewhat peacefully in her bed, but looks were deceiving. He knew when someone was having a nightmare when he saw one, so this was the perfect opportunity to gain control over her. His black liquid form spread out all over her covered up form and seeped inside her body without waking her.

Seconds after doing this, Bagan found himself in Elsa's dream. He looked around and saw he was standing among a crowd of people in the courtyard in the middle of the day. Elsa was standing in front of everyone and looked quite nervous. Bagan knew about everything that was going on in the dream, such as the fact that it was tomorrow; the anniversary of her coronation, along with the fact that Elsa was terrified of causing a repeat of freezing the kingdom like last year.

Instead of going through with possessing her in her sleep, Bagan decided to hold off on his current plan. Why have her create his monsters right now when he could have her do so tomorrow in a way that could cause death and destruction? Not wanting to leave her body just yet, Bagan decided to have some fun while he could. Using his demon powers, Bagan began influencing her dream in a way that suited him.

Elsa was having full control over her powers and was making it snow when all of a sudden, a dark feeling came over her that made her flip out. The snow became sharp icicles that started raining down on the crowd. Elsa backed away and began panicking as her powers involuntarily lashed out by making a huge ice wave shoot out towards the crowd. "What's going on?!" Elsa shouted as she looked down at her hands in fear before an evil-sounding laugh made her look up and watch the wave of ice slam into the crowd, freezing all of them solid. "NO!"

The dream world around her began to fade as Elsa forcibly ripped herself from it in order to wake up and escape. Her eyes shot open and she looked around the room with a light gasp. Seeing that she was in her bedroom, which was a bit snowy since her ice magic was activated based on her fear, Elsa sat up slowly and took a couple of deep breaths. "Please let this not be happening again," she whispered to herself as she pressed her knees against her chest. She looked down at her hands and hoped that it was all just a nightmare and not a glimpse of what will happen tomorrow. Not wanting to sleep by herself after that, Elsa got out of bed and went to Jason's room.

Elsa quietly went into his room and gently shook his shoulder once she was at his bedside. "Jason," she whispered, shaking his shoulder until he woke up.

"What?" Jason asked sleepily as he was torn away from his dream. He saw it was only Elsa, so he wasn't too upset since she wouldn't wake him up unless it was absolutely important. "What's wrong, hun?" he asked sleepily.

"I had a nightmare and I don't wanna sleep alone, so I was wondering if you would let me sleep here with you tonight," Elsa said.

"Yeah, you can sleep with me, snowflake," Jason said, moving over to the other side of the bed so that Elsa had some room to sleep.

"Thank you, Jason," Elsa said as she crawled into bed. She laid on her side facing him and snuggled into his body. "I really appreciate this." She kissed his lips softly a couple of times.

After returning her kisses, Jason smiled and wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "It's okay. Good night, snowflake," he said before closing his eyes.

"Night." Elsa closed her eyes and nuzzled her face against his chest. Now that she was with her love, she hoped the nightmares would go away. Unfortunately, Bagan was still inside her, and he wasn't about to let her have a good dream any time soon. Her dream started out the same as the last one, with her performing ice magic in front of her people. Everything was going good, she had everything under control, she felt happy and warm inside, and everyone was loving her magic. Then came that evil laugh. Like before, it seemed to make her magic go out of control and start hurting people. No matter how hard she fought to control and stop it from hurting others, she would always fail. The worst part was when she heard Anna calling out to her. "No! Anna, please stay away! I can't control it!" Elsa shouted to her sister. She held her hands away and curled up into ball as Anna came running over to her with Kristoff and Jason following behind. "Get away from me, all of you! Please, just listen to me!" Suddenly, Elsa's right hand began moving away from her body involuntarily, almost as if some other force was taking control of it. Elsa grabbed her hand and tried to pull it back to her side, but that cruel, evil laugh came again and before she knew it, a beam of pure ice shot out from her right palm. All she could do was watch in horror as the beam shot through Anna's chest, destroying her heart. "NO!" Elsa shouted as her sister fell to the ground motionless as everyone gathered around her fallen form, all while that laugh continued, but was more gleeful than before. The laughing was interrupted by Jason's voice calling her name, but she didn't know where it was coming from. "Jason, please stop! Don't come near me." Seconds after hearing his voice, Elsa began getting a warm feeling coursing through her body. Knowing that love will end the madness, Elsa focused on the warmth as much as she could, which pulled her out of the dream.

Elsa's eyes shot open and saw that she was back in Jason's room. The warmth she felt in her dream was him kissing her, which he was still doing at the moment. Feeling warmth and protection from it, Elsa closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck to hold him in place. The warmth from their love began making the ice on the bed and the nearby walls melt away until they were gone.

Jason softly pulled away from her after a few more moments and looked at her with concern. "What were you dreaming about? You were moaning 'no' and 'stay away' in your sleep."

Knowing that their love for each other would be warm enough to prevent Jason from being frozen by her magic, Elsa pressed her body against his and closed her eyes tightly. "I had another nightmare just like the one I had before I came to sleep in here. I was doing tricks with my ice magic before everyone like I'm supposed to today, but all of a sudden everything just turns into chaos and I...I start losing control of my magic and begin hurting people with it. I can't let that happen again. I'm going to have to tell everyone that I won't be doing my ice magic before the celebration."

"Elsa, it was all just a nightmare created by your nervousness about today," Jason said as he stroked her hair. "You've done your ice magic in front of people before enough times for me to know for sure that you've got it under control."

Elsa looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "I killed Anna, Jason," she said softly, trying to hold back her tears. "I shot an ice beam straight through her heart when she came to help me get under control. I can't let that happen." She pressed her face against his chest and wiped her eyes on his T-shirt. "And that awful voice was laughing the entire time."

"What awful voice?" Jason asked. He was starting to get suspicious that maybe something else had caused Elsa to have a nightmare.

"There was this awful voice. It was deep and evil-sounding, and it was laughing the whole time my powers were hurting people." Elsa pulled her body away from his and looked at him. "Why do you ask?"

"I think we need to tell Mephiles about this. I have a feeling that something he stumbled across about a couple of months ago is back," Jason said as he got off the bed and led her out of the room.

Not wanting to be discovered, Bagan emerged from Elsa's body quietly and appeared on the back of her left leg in his liquid form. Before she could feel anything, Bagan pushed his liquid form off of her leg and dashed under Jason's bed to hide in the shadows. Fortunately for him, neither of them noticed. For now, Bagan would just have to wait until the anniversary ceremony before his kaiju would receive life.

Jason knocked on Mephiles' bedroom door. "Mephiles, come out here. I need to see you."

After a few seconds of silence, Jason knocked on the door again, causing Mephiles to groan loudly and what appeared to be the sound of a pillow hitting the door. "Whaaaaaaat the hell do you want, asshole? It's almost 7:30 in the damn morning, and I am not in the f'ing mood to be up at this hour," Mephiles groaned from inside.

"I think that demon you came across in the forest is in Elsa," Jason said. After Jason was rested from his battle with the MUTOs, Mephiles told him and the others about his encounter with a mysterious new demon while Gigantis was fighting King Cobra, and Jason believed that it was now inside her based on what she said about her dreams.

Elsa looked at him with a rather horrified look. "W-what?"

Before Jason could say anything, Mephiles' door opened and the demon floated out to his friends. "What makes you think it's possessed her? She doesn't look or act any different. As far as I know, that is."

Jason explained Elsa's dream to him. After hearing it, Mephiles was still a bit unconvinced, but Jason wasn't taking any chances. "Just please get inside Elsa and make it leave."

"...Shouldn't you be the one getting inside her? She is your girlfriend after all," Mephiles said.

Jason facepalmed and Elsa's face turned bright red, knowing what Mephiles was implying, as the demon laughed at his own joke. "Oh you know what I meant! Just...do it," Jason said.

"Fine, fine," Mephiles said, finishing his laugh. He lunged at Elsa, turning his body into black liquid that splashed against Elsa's clothes and skin before fading into her body. Elsa began shivering and involuntarily moving parts of her body as Mephiles began taking control. It only last for a few moments though, and it wasn't long before Mephiles emerged from her, back in his regular form. "It may not be there now, but it was in there sometime during the night."

Elsa hugged Jason tightly with fright as she pressed her face into his shoulder. "Oh my god..."

Jason held her. "Is it still here?" he asked Mephiles.

"I doubt it. It probably left the moment it suspected that you knew about it being in her and returned to wherever it came from," Mephiles explained.

"But what if it's still around here?" Elsa asked, looking up at him. "If it got into me before it can do so again. I just...can't risk the lives of everyone with my ice magic show."

"Elsa, everything will be alright," Jason said, cupping her cheeks in his hands as he looked into her big blue eyes. "I believe in your ability to control your magic no matter what happens around you or inside you, and just to make sure, I'll be by your side, as will Anna."

"No! I don't want you or Anna to be around me if something were to happen," said Elsa. "And I don't want you mentioning a word of this to Anna because if she knows she'll do everything she can to be around me to make sure I'm in control. I can't lose both of you. You're the two most important people in my life, and I would never be able to forgive myself if I was the reason you two are taken from me." She paused, but only momentarily. "I do have an idea who can be my lookout, though," she continued while looking in Mephiles' direction.

"Oh yeah, let the person you care the least about watch out for you. Who cares if something happens to him?" Mephiles said in annoyance. "Gee, thank you so much, your majesty," he said with sarcasm dripping from his voice.

"I think you would be the best choice because not only can you protect yourself with your powers if I do start to go out of control, but you can also track this new demon and fight it off if it comes to possess me again." Elsa looked at him. "Please do this one thing for me. It'd mean a whole lot."

Mephiles silently floated and thought about his answer. "Fine, but only because you're dating my best friend and you're Anna's sister."

Elsa hugged Mephiles tightly. "Oh, thank you so much."

"Stop. Touching. Me," Mephiles commanded.

Elsa quickly released him from her arms. "Sorry."

Everything continued on schedule despite the fact that Bagan may or may not be lurking about in Arendelle, but no one knew about that aside from Jason, Elsa, and Mephiles. Later during the afternoon, everyone in the kingdom assembled themselves in the castle courtyard. Most everyone wasn't worried about a thing since they had confidence in Elsa and they had seen her using her ice magic without problem ever since she unfroze Arendelle a year ago, but some were still hesitant to be there.

The castle doors opened and Elsa and her friends stepped out into the courtyard. "Are you sure you don't want me up here with you, Elsa? I can do a little dance or anything you want so you'll have some company up there," Anna said, doing everything she could to convince Elsa to let her be by her side.

Elsa looked at her sister and smiled warmly. "I already told you, I want you to be with everyone else so you can get a crowd experience of my magic. It's not like you're gonna miss anything if you aren't by my side." She placed her hands on Anna's shoulders and looked her sister square in the eyes. "I wanna try to do this on my own. This would really mean a lot to me, and after this I'll spend the rest of the day by your side doing whatever you want."

Anna giggled at this. "Elsa, I can't tell you what to do today, it's your special day." She gave Elsa's shoulder a loving squeeze. "But thanks for the offer."

As Anna, Kristoff, Gzilla, Sven, and Olaf began walking over to the crowd, Jason started speaking to Elsa. "I know you can do this."

"I know," Elsa said with a slightly nervous grin. "I just hope Mephiles can handle that thing if it decides to come after me. I wonder why it was inside me, though."

"I dunno." Jason reached out and gave her hand a loving squeeze. The kingdom was still in the dark about Jason and Elsa's relationship so they couldn't be too affectionate in public.

After returning his affectionate hand squeeze, Elsa took a deep breath as he walked toward her sister and their friends. She took another nervous breath of air before looking over her shoulder at the castle. Mephiles was hiding in his black liquid form, watching everything that was going on around him without anyone noticing he was doing so. Turning to face the crowd, Elsa stepped forward with a grin on her face. "Are you all ready?"

The crowd answered her question with resounding cheers and applause. Taking in a collective breath of fresh air, Elsa started thinking about the love her sister and Jason had for her in order to keep calm before she released a wind of visible snowflakes into the air. Using her cryokinesis ability, Elsa made the snowflakes dance around in the sky, doing figure eight patterns and other neat tricks that made the crowd 'ooh' and 'ahh'. Unknown to her, something sinister was watching her act.

From one of the windows facing the courtyard, Bagan watched Elsa's little show in his shadow form. Knowing that the time had come for his kaiju to receive life, he dissolved his body into his liquid form and slid up the window and out through the crack. Once he slid down to the courtyard, he hurriedly slithered his way over to Elsa, unaware that he wasn't as unnoticed as he thought.

Sensing Bagan as soon as he began making his way down the side of the castle, Mephiles waited for the right opportunity to launch his ambush, and now was that time. Mephiles' black liquid form darted out from the shadows and collided with the black liquid that was Bagan, causing the two liquid masses to start flowing over and colliding with each other. It didn't take long before the crowd of people noticed the battling liquid masses, which soon came to Elsa's attention.

Knowing that he didn't have time to fight Mephiles now that he was spotted, Bagan quickly broke away from the other demon and shot his liquid body towards Elsa like a bolt of lightning. He entered her body before she even had time to react. He quickly possessed her body and took control of her actions. The snowflakes high in the sky fell to the ground below as hail stones, causing the crowd to disperse.

"Elsa, what are you doing?!" Anna shouted in alarm.

Elsa turned to look at Anna and spoke in a deep, dark voice that didn't belong to her. "Elsa's not here." Then, snow magic with a purple tinge to it began forming in between her palms that was growing larger by the second.

Anna looked at her friends in shock. "What is going on with my sister?!"

Jason knew that he could no longer keep what he knew from the others so he told them everything. "The demon that Mephiles fought a couple months ago is possessing your sister."

"What?!" Anna shouted. Then she realized something. "How do you know that?"

"Because..." Jason sighed and looked down, having a feeling that Anna would be pissed at him after hearing what he had to say next. "It possessed Elsa sometime last night and was giving her nightmares."

"You knew about this and didn't tell me?!" Anna angrily shouted at him.

"She didn't want you or anyone else besides Mephiles knowing. She was afraid that her nightmares about her hurting us and the people would come true so she wanted us to be away from her when she did this."

"And where is Mephiles right now?!" Seconds after Anna asked that, Elsa released the now 10 foot tall orb of demon-and-ice magic into the crowd, causing them all to scatter away from it. Upon hitting the ground, the orb began taking on a different form; that of a quadruped creature. As it began growing larger by the second that to Elsa and Bagan's magic, Mephiles quickly shape-shifted back into his regular form and lunged towards Elsa. He disappeared inside of her seconds into colliding with her body. For the next few moments, Elsa's body began convulsing and the quadruped creature began shrinking as Mephiles and Bagan fought each other for control over her. Because Mephiles was actually holding off Bagan, it allowed Elsa to regain some control over her body. She ceased using her ice magic and used all of her willpower to assist Mephiles in forcing Bagan out of her body.

Moments later, Bagan was flung out of Elsa's body and fell to the ground in his shadow form. He was unable to give Krystalak a life force before he was expelled from Elsa's body, so as he turned into his liquid form, Bagan telepathically instilled Krystalak with his demonic powers, giving it life.

Mephiles emerged from Elsa's body in his regular form and watched as Bagan's liquid form began retreating to the closest shadow it could find. Elsa, feeling weak from the spiritual battle that took place inside her body, fell to one knee and let out a groan of exhaustion. As Jason and the others rushed over to help her, Mephiles gave chase after the fleeing demon, blasting it with his purple energy beams. Bagan dodged every blast, but just as he was about to reach a shadow, one of Mephiles' energy beams struck the end of his liquid mass. Bagan hissed in extreme pain, but that didn't stop him from entering the shadow and transport himself back to the Southern Isles.

"Elsa, are you alright?" Jason asked as he and Anna helped lift the Snow Queen back on her feet. The sound of snarling from behind him interrupted her answer.

The people of Arendelle who stuck around to watch what was going on with their Queen now began to flee as the quadruped monster that was created mere moments ago began moving about and snarling at them. It was only 3 feet tall and 6 feet long, but its appearance was quite ferocious. It was slender and had a dog-like body with a white underbelly and purple-crystal spike covered back that extended all the way down to a medium-sized spike on the tip of its tail. The crystal spikes also covered its hands, the front of its arms, the front of its legs, and most of its face, giving it a crystal beard. The beast's eyes were yellow and pupil-less, and it had razor-sharp and powerful-looking teeth lining its mouth.

Krystalak roared aggressively at the humans who were all around, swinging its spiked tail like a blade to keep them from getting too close. When it saw Gzilla, it only saw a potential hostile adversary and began menacingly advancing towards him and the humans next to him. When it had gotten too close for comfort, Gzilla and one of the male humans protectively got in front of the other humans, but before it could finish crouching down in an attack position, a mysterious voice began talking to it in its head. Krystalak straightened its body up and let out a low growl of confusion as it tried to figure out where the voice was coming from. The voice explained that it was Krystalak's master and that Krystalak needed to leave this place and go search for an energy source to use in order to fuel itself and grow larger. At first it was hesitant to do so, but all of a sudden it got this insatiable urge for more power. Krystalak immediately turned away from Gzilla and began running off in the direction of the forest, knocking over and trampling anyone who was unlucky enough to be in its way.

With the help of Anna and Kristoff, Elsa gets back on her feet. "What...what happened?" she asked them weakly.

"Well, the demon that you forgot to tell me about made you create some weird-looking dog monster," Anna said, not holding back her feelings of annoyance for being lied to once again by her sister.

"That wasn't a dog monster," Jason said. "It was a monster that resembles one from my universe called Krystalak. If that demon was able to create it, then that means it was in my room at some point and looked through my kaiju guidebook so there's no telling what other monsters it could try to bring to life." Jason looked over at Elsa and saw that she was still weakened from earlier, meaning that he was now in control of the situation. "Anna, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf. Help Elsa get inside her room so she can rest. Mephiles, at least try to find out where that demon went. Me and G are gonna track down Krystalak and destroy it before it causes too much damage wherever it's going." With his orders given, the group of friends split up in order to do their appointed tasks.

Krystalak was covering ground as it ran through the forest. It was already a mile outside of Arendelle and it already was on the trail of an energy source. Krystalak wondered if the mysterious voice in its head planted the energy there just for it. A couple of fallen trees were now in Krystalak's path, but the monster cleared both of them in one extraordinary jump and kept running at full speed once its feet hit the ground. Little did Krystalak know, it was heading straight for the Valley of the Living Rock.

Anna opened the door to Elsa's bedroom for the others as they helped Elsa inside. She was able to walk, she just couldn't stand on her own two feet so she had to lean on Kristoff and hold onto one of Sven's horns. Once Elsa was laying on her bed, Anna went over to Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. "Can you let me have a few minutes alone with my sister?"

"Ohh boy," Kristoff said, knowing what was about to happen. "Come on guys, let's give them some space."

Anna rolled her eyes at him and his comment as they left the room, and she closed the door behind them.

"Anna, I'm sorry I didn't tell you," Elsa said as her sister turned to face her and started walking over.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Anna asked, ignoring her sister's apology. "Why do you always keep things like this from me? We're sisters, there shouldn't be any secrets between us."

"I did it because I didn't want you to get hurt, Anna," said Elsa. "That thing had me kill you in my dream, and I didn't want that to happen for real. I don't want to keep things from you, I really don't, but I'm just so afraid that you'll do something to protect me that winds up getting you killed. If that were to happen I'd never forgive myself." She looked at Anna with a look of sorrow. "Please don't be too upset."

Anna gave her sister a teary smile and went over to her side. "Oh, Elsa, I can never stay mad at you," she said as she gave her sister a heartfelt hug. "I know you're just trying to protect me, but you should at least trust that I'll do the right thing. I'll always help you whenever I can, no matter what's going on. I'd never forgive myself if something happened to you and I could have done something to prevent it. I just need to remind myself that there are now others around who are better at dealing with these kinds of situations than I am and care about you as much as I do. Just promise me you won't keep secrets from me anymore."

Elsa looked directly into Anna's eyes once their hug ended and nodded. "I promise that there will be no more secrets about anything between the two of us."

Anna smiled. "Great! Now you get some rest. You look like you need it after all you've been through." She walked away from her sister and gave her a wave before leaving, closing the door behind her.

It was about a half hour after Krystalak came to life when it came across the Valley of the Living Rock. Krystalak took a brief pause to take in its surroundings. It was near the center of the valley, standing on a tall edge which overlooked it. Underneath and along the sides under the edge were sections of the ground that stuck out from the rock wall which resembled primitive stairs. Krystalak sniffed the air, detecting that the energy it was looking for was somewhere at the bottom, and since it didn't see another way down it would have to take the rocky stairs. As the demonic creature began heading downwards, it didn't notice that some of the rocks it passed began to slightly move.

Once Krystalak reached the bottom, it followed the scent through the valley. It led to an area with three different mines which led underground. These were crystal mines. The trolls living there harvested them for use to perform and enhance their magical powers. Having finally found the energy it was looking for, Krystalak hungrily bounded toward the mines. Unfortunately, it wasn't alone.

Deep in the mines were a large group of trolls hard at work mining the crystals imbedded in the walls. The noise of their pickaxes chiseling away at the rock wall and large crystals covered the sound of Krystalak getting closer and closer until the demonic monster was practically in the area. The sound of footfalls and animalistic breathing caused the trolls to stop working and turn to the entrance to see what was coming. The sight of Krystalak charging through the tunnel made the trolls scream while some even dropped their pickaxes in shock.

The sight of the strange rock creatures made Krystalak come to a stop, get into a defensive posture, and snarl at them. It didn't know what these things were, but if they thought they would get the energy here for themselves they had another thing coming. Some of the trolls began to pick up their axes as a stand-off began to take place. Krystalak lunged at the trolls, causing many of them to leap back while some charged forward with their axes raised. Even though the trolls were smaller than Krystalak, that didn't mean some of them were going to willingly back down without a fight.

As the fleeing trolls rushed past Krystalak on both sides of the creature, it remained where it stood and swung its tail at the trolls who decided to attack. Globs of crystal shards were flung from the crystal spike on the tip of Krystalak's tail, striking some of the trolls with explosive results. The exploding crystal shards caused some of the trolls to fall to the ground in pain from the detonations while others shrugged it off. Since that didn't deter most of them, Krystalak opened its mouth and let loose a Crystal Prism Beam. The beam of crystal shards struck the ground in front of the trolls, causing them to stop in their tracks. Krystalak unleashed another Crystal Prism Beam, striking the lead troll in the chest. The blast sent the rock creature sailing into his cohorts, knocking them to the ground once he landed on them. After this, all of the trolls began fleeing to the exit since none of them wanted to risk their lives by challenging it further.

Krystalak kept its guard up as these trolls ran by, making sure it was ready to defend itself should any of them try to launch an attack as they fled. Just to make sure they didn't come back or stick around, Krystalak chased after them while roaring ferociously until the trolls ran into the tunnel. Seeing that it was now alone to feed, Krystalak ran deeper into the mine shaft until it came upon a huge chamber filled with crystals of various colors such as red, blue, purple, green, white, etc. Having found its energy source, Krystalak began to break the crystals. After doing this for a few moments, its body began to glow purple and both broken and intact crystals began shooting towards it, attaching to Krystalak's body.

With an unknown creature that was giving off a suspiciously large amount of dark energy inside of their mine, the miner trolls ran to the only one among them that could figure out a way to solve this problem. "Pabbie, Pabbie," quite a few of the trolls shouted once they reached the large mound where Pabbie rested.

Hearing the distress and urgency in their voices, Pabbie unfurled himself out of his boulder form and looked at them. "What's wrong?"

"We were just mining and then all of a sudden this big monster came inside and was roaring and attacking us! It was really scary and it reeked of dark magic energy," one of the trolls explained.

Pabbie's face became serious and grim upon hearing this news. It had been a long time since dark magic came to Arendelle and he wasn't about to let things turn out like they did long ago. "Notify our warriors of this and lead them to the mine where the beast is." He looked at the two trolls closest to him. "You two, come with me to Arendelle so we can get the aid of their protector, Gigantis." With the plan set, the trolls curled their bodies into their rock forms and began rolling off to do their appointed tasks.

Meanwhile, Gigantis and Gzilla reached the edge that descended into the center of the trolls' valley. "I didn't know the trolls lived this far into the valley, or that it was even this enormous," Gigantis said.

"It's a valley, of course it's going to be big," Gzilla said matter-of-factly.

"I know, but Frozen really didn't show that much of it." Gigantis peered over the edge, making sure to stay as far back as possible due to his fear of heights. "There's some step-like structures jutting out of the wall sides that descend to the bottom, but I dunno if they'll hold our weight." He carefully approached the edge and stepped onto the structure to test its weight.

Seeing that nothing happened after Gigantis stood on it for a couple of moments, Gzilla walked over. "See, it'll hold."

"Yeah, well, let's do this one at a time just to make sure. I really don't want to fall to my death," Gigantis replied as he took slow, gentle steps over to the next rock step.

Gzilla rolled his eyes and began following Gigantis, but when he stepped onto the first step, the sound of cracking was heard, causing Gzilla to freeze in his place and Gigantis to turn to him.

"I guess it can't hold you. Did you gain weight or something since we've been living here?" Gigantis asked teasingly as he continued down the steps.

"Ha ha, so funny. Want me to jump over to your step and see if it can handle that?" Gzilla asked.

"No, that won't be necessary," Gigantis replied. The two continued down and once the reached the bottom they began heading into the valley until they saw three self-propelled rocks rolling toward them. "What the...?"

The rocks came to a stop once they were within three feet of the Gojirans and unfurled themselves into trolls. "Look, it's Gigantis and G!" one of the trolls said with relief.

Gigantis looked over at Gzilla. "They know you?"

"When we all came here, me and Meph were with Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf while you were with Elsa," Gzilla said.

"Oh yeah, I forgot." Gigantis looked down at the trolls. "Where are you three going in such a rush?"

"Gigantis, there is a monster who was created by dark magic inside one of our crystal mines and we need your help in defeating it," Pabbie explained.

"So that's where it's hiding," Gigantis said. Seeing the confused looks on the trolls' faces, he explained to them. "A demon, not Mephiles, possessed Elsa and her ice magic, and apparently its own dark magic, to create a monster that resembles one that lived in my universe. We tracked it here after it fled Arendelle. I guess it must have picked up your crystals' energies and came here to feed on them."

"We must stop it before that can happen," Pabbie said. "Nothing good can come from dark magic, and it will only get worse if it's able to increase in strength. Come, we'll lead you to the mine." Pabbie and the two other trolls curled back into rocks and began rolling away with Gigantis and Gzilla following closely behind.

When they arrived at the mine's entrance, a large group of trolls was gathered around it. "Pabbie's back with Arendelle's protector and G!" shouted one of the trolls, causing them to happily cheer. Several trolls who were standing in the front of the crowd approached Pabbie and Gigantis. "We'll give you support if the battle becomes too intense."

"Thanks for the consideration, but me and G can handle this on our own," Gigantis replied.

Pabbie looked at Gigantis and shook his head. "They need to come with us. The mine is unstable in certain places and enough damage to one of them could bring the whole mine down on top of you, so we need to defeat it quickly. Light magic is the best thing that can effectively defeat dark magic, and myself and these individuals before you are skilled in light magic."

"This is your land, so whatever you say goes," Gigantis said with a shrug. "How deep does the mine go?"

"All the way to the mountain's core, which is where the greatest amount of crystals are. If the beast is still in there that's where it'll be," Pabbie said. He and the several troll warriors curled up into balls and began rolling inside. Gigantis and Gzilla followed them inside, and once they reached the mountain's core they were surprised by the sight that greeted them. In the center was an enormous crystal mass that was 20 feet tall and growing as various crystals were uprooted from the ground and walls and attached themselves to the crystal mass. It was glowing and pulsating with purple energy.

"What is this monstrosity?"one of the trolls asked with a look of horror on its face.

"It appears to be a crystal cocoon of sorts," Gigantis replied, studying the crystal structure. "Krystalak's probably inside it and is using it to absorb the energy from the crystals it's made up of."

Pabbie turned from the mass of crystals to his trolls. "Use your magic to disassemble the cocoon." As one, the trolls held the crystals attached to their bodies and closed their eyes. They were channeling their light magic through their crystals. After a few minutes, nothing happened and the trolls stopped. Pabbie looked at Gigantis with a frown. "It's too powerful to counteract with light magic. Do you think you could break it with your strength?"

"I can try, but I doubt I can. It looks pretty solid and rock hard." Gigantis grew to 40 feet in height, making sure he didn't bang his head against the rock ceiling. He slammed his fists against it a couple of times as hard as he could, but all it did was hurt his hands. "Scrap!" he shouted, waving his hands to get the pain out of them. He sharply turned his body around, slamming his tail against the crystal cocoon, but it didn't crack in the slightest. With physical strength not working, he decided to try his Atomic Ray. The blue beam washed over the crystal cocoon, but like everything else before it, it didn't work. Gigantis shrunk back down to 6 feet and returned to the others. "That thing just won't break."

"Then we'll have to seal it in here," Pabbie said. He and his trolls led Gigantis and Gzilla out of the chamber before they began using their light magic to cause a barrier to form around the entrance and the chamber itself. "There, that should keep it from escaping should it emerge from its cocoon and prevent anyone from freeing it." Once they returned to the mine's entrance, Pabbie addressed his people. "The monster in the mines is trapped and won't be causing anyone harm, but unfortunately it's in the mountain's core." The worried murmurs made Pabbie continue. "Do not worry about the supply of crystals. There are still plenty of crystals still unmined so there we won't be running out of them any time soon. Once the creature emerges from its cocoon, Gigantis will come back and defeat it."

To help confirm Pabbie's statement as being true, Gigantis nodded his head in agreement. "I'll make sure it's gone so your crystal chamber can be yours once again." That seemed to calm the gathered trolls because they began leaving to return to their lives. "We better return to Arendelle to tell Elsa about this."

Pabbie nodded and gave the two saurians a wave. "Goodbye you two. May the next time we meet be under better circumstances." He curled his body into his rock form and began rolling back to his mound. Gigantis didn't know how important he was to the kingdom of Arendelle, or this universe as a whole, more than Pabbie did, and the troll leader hoped Gigantis would be capable of handling the dark challenge that would eventually rear its ugly head.

When Gigantis and Gzilla returned to Arendelle it was around mid-evening judging by the fact that it was almost dark outside. Elsa was feeling better and was well-rested when they got back. As expected, Mephiles was unable to find Bagan, but with the information she received about Krystalak, Elsa was able to address her people and inform them about everything being safe in Arendelle. Although it was unsure where Bagan was at the time, Elsa told them that the demon was gone and left out the fact that she nor any of her other friends knew when it would return. All they could do was hope that it would stay away, but the likelihood of that happening was very slim according to Mephiles. When it was time for bed, Elsa slept with Jason again since she wasn't ready to go back to sleeping alone in her bed.

At around 2 am, black liquid emerged from the shadows in Jason's bedroom and took the familiar shadow form of Bagan in the moonlight shining in through the window. Although Krystalak was growing inside of its crystal cocoon, Bagan still needed Elsa in order to create his second monster. After seeing that both Jason and Elsa were fast asleep in his bed, Bagan silently made his way over to them. His body dissolved back into black liquid which began sliding up the bed and onto Elsa's sleeping form. Upon entering her body, Bagan took control of her and made her wake up. Elsa pushed herself out of bed quietly as to not wake Jason, but somehow it still managed to happen.

"Bay, where are you going?" Jason asked sleepily as he slowly pushed himself up to a seated posture. Elsa turned to face him and did nothing aside from give him an evil-looking smirk which only left him more confused at her strange actions. That is, until she used her ice magic to freeze his body to the bed. "Hey! What the hell, Elsa?!" In that split second he realized what was happening. "Get out of her body you twisted freak!"

Elsa finally began speaking to him, but it in her own voice; it was Bagan's. "You can have her back once she's done helping me free my creation. Although, you might not survive long enough to speak with her again." After laughing cruelly, Elsa moved into the shadows, allowing Bagan to use his shadow teleportation to leave the room.

Seconds later, knocking came from the other side of the door. "Jason, what's going on in there? Is Elsa alright?" It was Anna.

"No, that demon freak came back, possessed her, froze me to the bed, and is now probably going to the troll's crystal mine to free Krystalak," Jason replied as he struggled to move.

The door flew open as Anna rushed in. "Oh my god, she really got you good," she said upon first look at Jason.

"Wake up G and Meph so they can help me get out and find her before it makes her free Krystalak," Jason said.

"I'm going with you," Anna said.

"No, you'll be safer here."

Anna crossed her arms and gave him a determined look. "She's my sister and I think I can help her get control over her body again, so I'm going to make sure she's safe whether you like it or not."

Figuring that she wouldn't help him get out of the ice if he didn't, Jason sighed in defeat. "Fine, you can come, but just promise me that you'll do everything you can to stay safe. If anything were to happen to you under my watch Elsa would never forgive me."

"I'll be careful, Jason. After this is over and Elsa gets mad at you for allowing me to go I'll make sure to explain that you had no choice," Anna said. Happy with her little victory, Anna quickly ran to wake up Gzilla and Mephiles. Once she got them up and explained what happened, they all returned to Jason's room.

Gzilla and Mephiles went over to Jason's side of the bed upon entering the room. "Why can't you just break yourself out by turning into Gigantis?" Gzilla asked.

"Because the dorsal plates will ruin my bed..." Jason replied.

Gzilla rolled his eyes with annoyance. "Oh my god..."

"Hey, I like my bed and I don't want puncture spots in it."

"You know, I'd be very interested to know what you'd do if we weren't here to free you. You'd probably just wait until the ice melted due to your need to preserve your bed," Gzilla said as he started smashing the ice with his fists.

"If you weren't here I would have to break free myself even though it would damage the bed," Jason replied as the blows weakened the ice, allowing him to pull himself out. "Luckily, I don't have to worry about that."

"If you two are done with your pointless conversation can we just get this thing over with? I would like to go back to sleep some time tonight," Mephiles said, feeling rather grumpy about being woken up this early. He snapped his fingers, opening one of his portals in the center of the room.

Jason nodded. "I know where they might be so just enter it at the same time I do." The group entered the portal at the same time, causing it to close behind them.

In the Valley of the Living Rock, a couple of trolls were stationed outside the mine's entrance in order to defend the area as best as they could in case the demon who created the beast showed up. Unfortunately for them, it was. Elsa emerged from the shadows and began walking up to the entrance. "Queen Elsa, how did you get here?" one of the trolls asked. "I didn't even know you knew where this..." The other troll never got to finish his statement since Elsa froze both trolls with her ice magic under Bagan's orders before entering the mine.

Upon reaching the center of the mountain, Elsa/Bagan looked upon Krystalak's cocoon. It filled the entire chamber due to its colossal size. Elsa began laughing in Bagan's voice before speaking in it. "I think it's time for you to come out and play." There was a slight problem though: how to get the beast out. Bagan sensed the powerful light magic barrier that sealed Krystalak inside the chamber, so the only reason he had Elsa enter the mine was so that he could see how it was doing. Unsure if Elsa's ice magic could break through the barrier since his own dark energy was now flowing through it, Bagan would have to go with Plan B.

A purple portal opened nearby and Jason along with his friends stepped out. The first thing they saw was Elsa putting the finishing touches on a 147 foot tall and 169 foot long monster. It was too late to stop the creation of this kaiju, so all they could do was watch as life entered the beast and it let out a ferocious roar.

The monster was a quadruped like Krystalak, but its appearance was completely different. Its underbelly was light gray while the rest of its body was blue. A large spike made of light-blue ice rested on its nose while three smaller ones rested behind it going up its skull. More ice spikes ran down its back while a single spike rested on the shoulders of its front legs and the cheeks had four smaller ones jutting out of them. Its red eyes caught the sight of Jason and his friends and glared at them before letting out another roar.

Elsa let out a Bagan chuckle. "Oh, you'll get a chance to kill them, Barugon, but first you have a far more important task." Bagan sent a mental command to the monster, causing it to move toward the mountain and begin tearing at the side with its claws.

"It's going to free Krystalak!" Jason realized. "Mephiles, get that thing out of Elsa while I fight Barugon." As Jason morphed into Gigantis and Mephiles dissolved into black liquid, a flurry of ice magic struck the ground in front of the group, stopping them instantly.

"Oh, I don't think so," Elsa said in Bagan's voice. "You can have your fight once Krystalak is free, but until then you aren't doing anything!"

"Get out of my sister's body!" Anna shouted.

"I rather like it in here, so I might just stay here permanently," Elsa replied in Bagan's voice.

"You won't be for long. No matter what kind of control you have over her, I know Elsa's willpower is strong enough to overcome you!" Anna shouted.

"Then why hasn't she done so already?"

Anna was silent for a few moments as she thought about that herself, but she shook it off. She knew what Elsa needed and she knew how to get it. "Elsa, I know you're in there somewhere. You can do this, I know you can! Fight him!"

Realizing what she was doing, Gigantis joined her. "She's right, Elsa. You can do this! You're the strongest and most independent woman I know, hun. If anyone can overcome the influence and control of a demon, it's you!" He looked over at Mephiles and motioned at Elsa with his head.

Understanding the silent command Gigantis gave, Mephiles darted over to Elsa, but the demon-influenced Snow Queen froze him solid.

"Try all you like, but I am the one in control over this body. Your weak-willed sister can never overcome my dark influence," Elsa said with a laugh using a combination of her own voice and Bagan's. She shot another blast of ice magic at the group, causing them to lunge to the right in order to dodge the blast, which created a clump of ice spikes upon impact with the ground.

Gigantis realized that in order for Elsa's voice to have been used in the last thing her body spoke, the demon inside her must have let her have some control. This was his and Anna's chance! "Elsa, you can do this. Fight him! Me and your sister are here, and we both believe in you. He's trying to hurt Anna, Elsa! Don't let him hurt your sister!" Gigantis shouted.

"Help me, Elsa!" Anna shouted. "Help!"

"You think that will actually wor..." Bagan's statement was interrupted as he felt something from inside Elsa's body begin to force him out. Whatever it was, it was strong. "Urgh! What is this?!" Elsa shouted in Bagan's voice as her body began to shake. "Get! Out!" Elsa shouted in her own voice. "Leave Anna alone!" Her body began to hunker down slowly. "No! You will not best me!" Bagan shouted. "And I won't let you hurt my sister, my boyfriend, or my friends! You may be some powerful demon, but the love I have for them is more powerful than you could ever be!" Elsa shouted. "Now get...OUT!" Elsa's body shot up into a standing position and arched outwards sharply as Bagan's shadow form was forcibly pushed out of her body.

Bagan struck the ground hard and let out a groan. This had never happened to him before and he was furious. Unfortunately, he didn't have much time to do a thing about it since he was too busy dodging ice blasts that Elsa was firing at him. Unable to keep this up for much longer, Bagan disappeared into the shadows, planning on reappearing somewhere close but out of the sight of Jason and his friends.

Anna and Gigantis ran over to Elsa and the three embraced each other in a loving hug while Gzilla used his Atomic Ray to start thawing out Mephiles. "Thank you so much for helping me, you two," Elsa said.

"You were the one who did it, Elsa," Anna said.

"We just gave you encouragement," Gigantis added.

At that moment, the sound of Barugon smashing the side of the mountain reminded the group of its presence. "Stay here and I'll take care of it," Gigantis told his friends.

"You aren't going to be able to do it alone," Gzilla said, causing Gigantis to stop and turn to him.

"What do you mean? It's just one monster."

"When Krystalak emerges it'll be two-against-one," Mephiles, who was now unfrozen and back in his regular form, said as he floated beside Gzilla. "These aren't your regular kaiju who act on instinct, these are demonic kaiju who are being controlled by a sadistic being. They'll most likely rip you to shreds."

"I'll help him," Elsa said, stepping forward so she would be beside Gigantis. "He helped me so I'll help him."

"Your magic won't have any effect on them. They were both created using some of your magic, so any attack made by you would be useless and not worth the effort," Mephiles said.

Tired of this pointless conversation, Gigantis ran towards Barugon and increased his height to 190 feet once he was a safe enough distance from his friends. The more they discussed about him getting help the more time it gave Barugon to free Krystalak. If he could defeat Barugon fast enough none of them would have to worry about Krystalak.

Gzilla sighed in minor annoyance at his friend's rash action. "I just love it when he just runs into situations head-first."

"He's giving us time to get him some help before that other creature wakes up," Elsa said. "Do you have any ideas on who to get?"

"How about his father?" Anna suggested. "From what I saw when they fought those weird-looking monsters in San Francisco they make a good team."

"Yeah...but Jason's rather self-conscious about asking his father for help. To Jason, it kinda makes him look weak. I don't know why he does that, I mean Godzilla doesn't find him weak for doing that. Maybe he's just trying to prove to himself that he's strong like Godzilla, I don't know. What I do know is that he'll get upset with us if we bring Godzilla here. I kinda already have someone in mind, though," Gzilla said.

Elsa sighed. "Sounds more to me like he's stubborn when it comes to asking for help. Anyways, who or, should I ask, what are you going to bring into my kingdom?"

"Just an old friend of Jason's family," Gzilla said.

"Ultraman?" Mephiles asked.

"No, he's on Nebula M78, and I have no idea where that is."

"Who's Ultraman?" Anna asked. "Is he an ultra man?"

"No," Gzilla said with a small chuckle. "He's a good alien from the Land of Light who defended our universe's Earth from aliens and kaiju for a short while. Who I'm talking about is like that, but the difference is that I can reach him. Mephiles, open and portal."

Knowing who Gzilla was talking, Mephiles did so and watched with Anna and Elsa as he entered the portal. He hoped that it would be enough in the upcoming fight. "Come on, we need to get to a safe distance." Mephiles opened another portal to a part of the valley that was away from the two combatants but would allow them to see the action, and they all entered it.

Barugon was too busy hammering away at the mountain's side to notice Gigantis charging toward it until it was too late. The giant saurian tackled Barugon, sending both kaiju to the ground, rolling away from the mountain. When they came to a stop, Gigantis was on top of Barugon and started pounding away at the demonic monster's face. Barugon screeched and flailed its limbs, using the sharp claws to slash at Gigantis' body, but the saurian ignored it. Suddenly, the demonic beast opened its mouth and an extremely long tongue shot out. The tongue struck Gigantis in the throat, causing the saurian to fall off and allow Barugon to get back on its feet as its tongue retracted back into its mouth.

With Gigantis on his hand and knees while clutching his throat, Barugon charged at him and rammed Gigantis with his body. Gigantis was sent rolling across the ground until he forced himself to a stop. He began to slowly push himself off the ground, but Barugon wouldn't have it. The demon kaiju's mouth opened and the long tongue emerged again, but instead of ramming into him like before, it started spraying a black-colored icy mist that began freezing Gigantis. The chilling mist made Gigantis yelp and leap backwards to get away from it, but he lost his balance and fell on his side. It was too late to get away by then. Barugon's icy mist sprayed all over Gigantis, freezing him in a thin, but hard sheet of black ice. Seeing that Gigantis no longer posed a threat to it, Barugon returned to its appointed task of freeing its fellow demon kaiju.

"Oh no..." Elsa said upon seeing her boyfriend frozen. She looked down at her hands and an idea came to mind. She looked at Mephiles and started speaking to him. "Hey, you said that those things had some of my magic in them, right?"

Mephiles looked over at her. "Yeah, why?"

"I can probably destroy them by myself by thawing them like I can with the snow and ice I create, can't I?"

"You probably can't destroy them entirely using that thawing thing you do since that demon's powers are in them as well, but you can probably thaw Jason."

Elsa closed her eyes and started concentrating as hard as she could on the love she had for Jason, which began thawing him out. Once she sensed that the ice on him had melted away, she opened her eyes and was happy to see Gigantis up and about again.

Barugon hadn't noticed Gigantis' thawing, so it was taken by complete surprise when a blue beam slammed into its side, sending it away from the mountain and causing it to roar in extreme pain. When Barugon got up, another beam slammed into its again, sending it rolling away while leaking purple blood and roaring in pain. Gigantis charged over to the monster and struck its face with a powerful kick and rushed around behind it. He grabbed it by its tail, but was met with a chilly surprise. Barugon's body was ice-cold. He let go of the tail and waved his hands around to shake off the cold, but he would have to suck it up. Grabbing the tail once again, he ignored the freezing touch and showed off his impressive strength by lifting the monster high up into the air before slamming it against the ground. He did this over and over, unaware that hundreds upon hundreds of self-propelled rocks were rolling into the area. The trolls unfurled themselves and cheered Gigantis on as he swung Barugon around, slamming the monster against the mountain side a few times before letting go of its tail. Barugon's body slammed into the mountain and slid down the side in a daze. Gigantis let loose another Atomic Ray and held his hands close to the beam in order to warm them up as it continuously struck Barugon's backside, causing the ice monster to roar in extreme pain once again.

Watching from a distance, Bagan knew Barugon didn't stand much of a chance by itself, so he needed to free Krystalak on his own. Closing his eyes, Bagan began charging the crystal cocoon with his energy. Inside the mountain, Krystalak's cocoon began flashing with purple light before exploding a few seconds later. The explosion caused an explosive chain reaction in the other crystals located throughout the mountain which resulted in the mountain exploding. The blast and falling debris sent the trolls scrambling for cover and buried Barugon under rubble, and the shockwave from the explosion sent Gigantis sailing backwards a couple of yards.

From within the dust cloud, something began stirring. Krystalak leaped from the remains of the once impressive mountain and let loose a terrible sounding roar. The beast was now 144 feet tall and 216 feet long. Following a mental command from Bagan, Krystalak began digging through the rubble for its half-brother. Once it found Barugon, the ice monster let out a menacing roar at Krystalak and was about to attack it until Bagan sent it a mental command to assist Krystalak in fighting Gigantis. The two demon kaiju searched for their foe and saw him slowly rising to his feet. They began advancing on him menacingly.

Gigantis shook off the daze he was in from the shockwave once he was fully upright. He figured that Krystalak was probably out of the mountain, so he mentally prepared himself for a tough two-on-one fight. He saw the two monsters coming toward him, so he unleashed his Atomic Ray at them. The beam struck the ground in front of Barugon, causing the ice monster to scurry backwards to avoid it entirely while Krystalak dashed around it and made a run at Gigantis. Gigantis waited for Krystalak to get close enough, and when it did, he quickly swung his tail and smacked the crystal monster away when it lunged at him.

Krystalak was sent sailing back and slammed into the ground in front of Barugon. Bagan growled in frustration. He figured that these two dimwits probably would fail against Gigantis even if they were fighting him together unless he took control of them and gave them strategy. He did just that, and both Krystalak and Barugon looked at Gigantis, who was charging up his ray. Krystalak dashed towards Gigantis and got the saurian's attention by launching its exploding crystal shards from its tail. As the shards struck Gigantis and exploded around his upper torso, he fired his Atomic Ray at Krystalak, but the monster was able to dodge it. While Gigantis was trailing his Atomic Ray after Krystalak, Barugon charged Gigantis from the opposite side and slammed into him.

Gigantis was floored by Barugon's attack, which allowed Krystalak to rush over and leap on top of him. The crystal monster's claws slashed Gigantis' chest, causing his blood to leak onto the ground. Barugon joined its half-brother by slashing at Gigantis' body as well. A Nuclear Pulse erupted from Gigantis' body, sending both demon kaiju off of him and to the ground as smoke poured from their bodies. Barugon rolled around on the ground, screeching its pain from the heat released. Krystalak was already back on its feet at the time. Suddenly, an Atomic Ray whizzed past Krystalak and struck Barugon's underbelly, causing the creature even more pain. The beam appeared to be melting the area of Barugon's body it was striking. Krystalak had to act fast in order to save its half-brother.

From Krystalak's mouth came its Crystal Prism Beam while exploding crystal shards were flung from its tail. The attacks struck Gigantis' chest, causing him to cease his attack due to the attacks being close to the chest wounds which were starting to heal. Gigantis roared in slight pain as Krystalak charged at him, still firing his mouth beam. Krystalak leaped into the air and tackled Gigantis, knocking him to the ground with the crystal monster on top of him. Krystalak began slashing Gigantis' chest again, but the attack wasn't for long because the saurian charged up his fist with nuclear energy and punched Krystalak in the face. The physical strength of the attack was doubled, causing Krystalak to feel more pain than it normally would. The blow sent the monster off Gigantis' body, but Krystalak's tail spike stabbed into his leg.

Howls of pain came from Gigantis' mouth as he could feel exploding crystal shards being injected through the spike into his leg. Before the pain could get any worse, he ripped the tail spike out of his leg and began unleashing his Atomic Ray on the base of Krystalak's tail in order to sever it from the rest of its body. Unfortunately, Gigantis didn't know that this whole attack was just a distraction. A rainbow struck his chest, causing Gigantis to experience immense physical pain while his mind was subjected to constant memories of tragic events in his life that caused his emotions to go wild. The rainbow came from the back of Barugon, and it caused whoever was unlucky enough to be caught in it were given extreme physical and emotional pain. Krystalak got back on its feet and saw that Gigantis was being taken care of, so it went to Barugon's side and reveled in the saurian's suffering as Barugon continued to pour on its Darkness Rainbow.

At this time, Gzilla came out of the portal Mephiles opened for him earlier, but he wasn't alone. With him was a Japanese male with black hair who appeared to be in his mid-thirties wearing clothes any ordinary Japanese guy living in modern day Tokyo would be wearing. This wasn't just any ordinary guy, though. It was Hikari Sakimori, or better known to most of the world as the alien hero Zone Fighter! Although he has been alive ever since the 1970s in Jason's universe. Hikari was from the planet Peaceland, and their life span and aging process was a lot longer than regular humans' were, which is how he was able to stay nearly the same age.

How Gzilla got Zone Fighter to go there was simple. He explained to Hikari about the trouble going on in the universe he just came out of and that the adopted son of the present day Godzilla, who was related to the Godzilla who was an ally of the Sakimori family back when the Garogas tried to take over the Earth in the '70s, was having trouble against two demonic and powerful monsters. Unwilling to let a family member of Godzilla go against those kinds of odds alone, along with the fact that he couldn't turn his back on anyone who needed help, Hikari agreed to help.

Both individuals saw the situation Gigantis was in the moment they exited the portal. "Oh no, he's being attacked by a…a rainbow?" Gzilla said, puzzled at how a rainbow was able to make his friend go through so much pain.

Suddenly, they were surrounded by self-propelled rocks that rolled over to them. Hikari got in a defensive position, ready to defend himself and Gzilla if these things decided to attack.

"It's alright, they're friendly," Gzilla said, raising his hand to calm Hikari.

The trolls all unfurled their bodies and looked at the new arrival curiously. "Who's he?" one troll asked.

"This is Hikari and he's going to help Gigantis fight those two monsters," Gzilla said.

"Hello," Hikari said in Japanese, giving the trolls a nod of his head and a wave.

The trolls looked at each other in confusion. "What did he say?" a couple of them murmured to each other. They had never heard the language of Japanese before.

"He's not from around here. He said hello," Gzilla said.

"How is he gonna fight those two giants? He's tiny compared to them," one of the child trolls asked.

The trolls began making a path as Pabbie made his way over to Gzilla and Hikari. The elder troll looked up at the Japanese man. "If you are here to fight the two demon monsters then I wish you the best of luck."

Hikari nodded, understanding what the troll was saying. He began walking toward the two monsters and stopped. After doing a couple of arm poses, he shouted loudly in Japanese. "Zone Double Fight!" Suddenly, his body was adorned with a costume befitting of a super hero and began growing in height until he was 131 feet tall.

Zone Fighter had a silver head with large yellow eyes and a head crest on his forehead. His chest was silver like his head, as well as blue, but two red lightning bolts jagged down his chest horizontally until they met in the center of his chest. On his waist was a red cross with a blue timer-like object on it. He wore silver gloves and his boots were red and green.

The sound caught the attention of everyone in the area. Krystalak turned to the source of the shout while Barugon stopped firing his Darkness Rainbow and did the same. Elsa, Mephiles, and Anna looked at Zone Fighter with awe. "I guess he's who G went to get," Elsa said. "Oh cool, a giant human in neat clothing!" Anna shouted excitedly. "He isn't a human, he's an alien. He just happens to look human," Mephiles corrected. Bagan swore as he wondered just what exactly Zone Fighter was and what it was doing here. Gigantis was relieved that Barugon stopped its rainbow beam and that Zone Fighter was here. Although he didn't like receiving aid in monster fights, he was grateful to have it this time around.

Zone Fighter let out a heroic shout and began firing energy arrows from his fingertips at the demon monsters. The arrows struck Barugon and Krystalak in several places, causing them to roar in irritation and mild pain as they began running to either side of Zone Fighter. Once they were almost right beside him, Zone Fighter leaped into the air and flew up, causing the kaiju to crash into each other. Barugon shoved Krystalak away and opened its mouth. Its tongue shot out and extended as far as it could and began releasing its black ice mist. Zone Fighter managed to avoid the mist and started firing energy arrows down onto the kaiju.

Krystalak roared as the arrows struck its body in various places and fired back with its exploding crystal shards. The some of the shards struck Zone Fighter, but they weren't powerful enough to knock him out of the sky. Barugon fired its Darkness Rainbow, but Zone Fighter dodged it. While the demon kaiju were fighting the Meteor Man, they completely forgot about the kaiju they were supposed to be fighting.

Now back on his feet, Gigantis looked at Barugon angrily. With Zone Fighter distracting both it and Krystalak, he now had a chance to catch them by surprise. After all the emotional pain Barugon made him go through with the Darkness Rainbow, he was going to make sure that it died by his hands. Gigantis sneaked up on Barugon and grabbed the ice monster by its tail, ignoring the extreme cold he felt upon grabbing it, and swung Barugon into Krystalak.

Zone Fighter landed beside Gigantis and greeted the saurian with a handshake. Gigantis shook the alien hero's hand and nodded. They turned away from each other and looked at the two demon monsters who were starting to get back onto their feet. Gigantis roared to Zone Fighter, telling him that Barugon was his. Zone Fighter nodded and looked at Krystalak, studying his opponent carefully. Gigantis unleashed an Atomic Ray from his mouth and struck Barugon's side, causing the monster to fall over and roar in extreme pain. Gigantis and Zone Fighter charged their opponents.

Krystalak tried to tackle Gigantis, but Zone Fighter intercepted it with a flying thrust kick that sent the crystal kaiju rolling across the ground. Zone Fighter fired more of his energy arrows at Krystalak's underbelly, causing the beast to howl in pain and irritation. It scrambled back onto its feet and dashed at the Meteor Man, slashing his side with its claws. Zone Fighter fell to one knee in pain, but he was able to deliver a power punch to Krystalak's face before the beast could slash him again. Krystalak was knocked onto its back, allowing Zone Fighter to leap on top of it and begin punching its upper chest and neck with blindingly fast punches. Zone Fighter continued the Uzi Punch for a few more moments until he leaped off.

Gigantis kicked Barugon as hard as he could in the face, sending the ice demon to the ground. Gigantis rushed over, grabbed Barugon's nasal horn, and snapped it off. As the demon monster roared in pain, Gigantis unleashed his Atomic Ray on the monster's side. It screeched in pain as the concentrated beam was beginning to melt his skin. Knowing that extreme heat attacks caused Barugon great pain, Gigantis put more power into his Atomic Ray, causing it to burn through Barugon's flesh faster.

The tortured and pain-filled roars of Barugon reach Krystalak, causing it to leap back on its feet and immediately fire its Crystal Prism Beam at the Meteor Man's chest. The beam knocked Zone Fighter off his feet and kept him grounded as Krystalak continued to pour it on him. After a few moments, Krystalak ceased its attack and charged at Gigantis with incredible agility. The crystal monster slammed its body against Gigantis' side, knocking the saurian to the ground and away from Barugon. It tried to rip Gigantis' throat out, but Gigantis grabbed its throat and used all of his strength to keep its head away. Channeling his nuclear energy, Gigantis sent it to his hands. The nuclear energy was expelled from his hands and onto Krystalak's neck, causing the crystal monster to shriek in pain. Gigantis then unleashed the full power of his Nuclear Pulse, blasting Krystalak off of his body.

Barugon struggled to get back onto its feet. The damage from Gigantis' Atomic Ray left a semi-deep hole in its side which was causing Barugon great pain whenever it moved. Unfortunately, Zone Fighter saw the wound. With a cry of "Meteor Proton Beam!" Zone Fighter brought both index and middle fingers on both hands to the crest on his forehead, causing a thin blue energy beam to emerge from the crest's star. The beam struck Barugon's wound, making it bigger in addition to causing Barugon more pain.

Looking at the semi-conscious form of Krystalak and seeing that as of now it posed no threat to him, Gigantis turned to see how Zone Fighter was doing. The Meteor Man was currently elbow smashing Barugon's neck, effectively holding his own against the monster. Gigantis turned his attention back on Krystalak and saw that the monster was slowly starting to stir. He grabbed its tail and hoisted Krystalak up into the air and slammed the monster onto the ground. Gigantis did this a few more times before he grabbed it by the crystal spikes on the back of its head with one hand and the base of its tail with the other, hoisting the monster over his head. Turning to Zone Fighter once again, Gigantis let out a roar to get his attention.

Zone Fighter stopped his attack and looked at Gigantis. Gigantis roared again, telling Zone Fighter to move out of the way. The alien hero did as told and watched Gigantis toss Krystalak on top of Barugon with ease, causing both monsters to howl in pain as Krystalak landed back-first onto Barugon's body. The crystal spikes on Krystalak's backside were stabbing into Barugon's body, causing the ice kaiju great pain whenever either of them moved. Gigantis walked over to Zone Fighter's side and grunted. It was time to end this fight. "Meteor Proton Beam!" Zone Fighter shouted before firing his signature energy beam. At the same time, Gigantis unleashed his Spiral Fire Ray. The two energy beams struck the piled monsters and caused a massive explosion after a few moments of constant firing.

Once the smoke settled, Gigantis and Zone Fighter saw what remained of their foes. Barugon was dead; its body broken into several pieces, but Krystalak was somehow still alive. The crystal monster began to stir and slowly got to its feet, but an Atomic Ray from Gigantis floored the monster once more. Knowing that it didn't have much time left, Krystalak began channeling all of the dark energy in its body and sent it surging to its crystal heart. Once the heart was unable to contain it anymore, it exploded outward from its body in the form of a shockwave. The Darkness Overload shockwave knocked Gigantis and Zone Fighter to the ground and caused the ground to shake briefly.

Krystalak grunted as it slowly rose to its feet. The attack left it drained of energy and sluggish. If Gigantis and Zone Fighter were still alive and fought back, Krystalak didn't have a chance. It stared at its downed opponents, watching for signs of life. Suddenly, Gigantis' eyes began to open and the saurian began pushing himself off the ground. Krystalak charged toward the saurian, moving much slower than it had been the entire fight, but it wasn't quick enough. Gigantis saw Krystalak heading for him and had enough time to fire an Atomic Ray. The beam struck Krystalak head-on, sending the monster crashing to the ground.

Gigantis got back up and looked down at Zone Fighter. The timer on his belt was flashing red, indicating his energy levels were dangerously low. Leaning down, Gigantis shook Zone Fighter's backside, causing the Meteor Man to awaken. Zone Fighter got back on his feet with the help of Gigantis. Gigantis pointed out the weakened form of Krystalak, and they both prepared a final attack. "Meteor Missile Might!" Zone Fighter shouted, causing gauntlets filled with super missiles to appear on his wrists from out of nowhere. Gigantis unleashed another Spiral Fire Ray while Zone Fighter began firing the super missiles from his gauntlets in rapid succession. The two attacks caused Krystalak to explode in a shower of ice and purple crystals.

With the monsters defeated, Gigantis let out a roar of victory before shaking Zone Fighter's hand. Elsewhere, Elsa and Anna cheered happily while Mephiles nodded in approval. Gzilla and the trolls cheered as well while Pabbie simply smiled.

Bagan looked at Gigantis more carefully than he did previously. Even though he had help with defeating Krystalak and Barugon, he still showed proficient combat skills. His gaze then turned to the trolls who cast the spell which prevented him from reaching Krystalak's cocoon. As he began thinking up a third and final test for Gigantis, he brainstormed ways that he could use their magic against both themselves and Gigantis while shadow teleporting back to the Southern Isles.

With the battle over, Gigantis shrunk back to his 6 foot height and morphed back into Jason while Zone Fighter shrunk down and morphed back into Hikari. They were soon swarmed with happy trolls who were very thankful to the heroes for saving their valley. Gzilla patted Jason's shoulder. "Good fight, man."

One of Mephiles' portals opened close to Jason, and out of it came Mephiles, Anna, and Elsa. The girls hugged Jason tightly. "We're so glad you two won!" Anna said. As her sister and Jason kissed, Anna turned to Hikari. "And thank you for your help Mr. Alien Hero Man."

Hikari laughed at what she called him, finding it amusing. "It was nothing. I'm always willing to help anyone who is in trouble."

Anna gave Hikari a confused look. Like the trolls, she never heard Japanese spoken up until that point. "Is he speaking gibberish?" she whispered quietly.
"No, it's Japanese, not gibberish," Gzilla said, taking some offense to what she said even though she wasn't meaning to be rude.

"Oh. Sorry. I've never heard anyone speak Japanese before," Anna said to Hikari, hoping he understood.

Hikari nodded. "It's alright." He turned to Gzilla. "How am I going to get home, though? I'm sure my family is worried about me."

Looking around, Gzilla saw that the portal he used to bring Hikari here was still open. "Just go through that," Gzilla said in Japanese, pointing to the portal. "Just think about your home five minutes or so after you left and you'll get home just fine."

Hikari nodded and gave everyone a goodbye wave. As he entered the portal back to his home in Japan, everyone there told him goodbye. Once he was gone, Mephiles closed the portal.

"I think it's time we head back to Arendelle," Elsa said.

"Yeah. Now that all that monster fighting is over, I'm tired again," Anna said with a yawn.

Mephiles opened a portal and everyone went inside it, returning to Arendelle where they returned to bed for some much needed sleep. The trolls began returning to their little spaces they slept at once the portal closed. While Pabbie was returning to his mound, he thought about creating some guardians for the Valley of the Living Rock before the demon returned.

The End...?

A/N: Once again, sorry about the late, late update. I won't say anything about trying to get the next one up on time because every time I do I end up jynxing myself.

hcsp1: Yes, Gigantis' name is an homage to Gigantis the Fire Monster. I thought it'd be a neat little reference that Godzilla fans who read my stories about him would catch, plus it sounds like something a little child would call himself if he turned into a Godzilla-like monster.
