"Do you know where Patricia is? I can't find her." Eddie said running his hands through his gelled hair. "We got in a fight."
Nina gave him a sympathetic look,"Sorry last I saw her she was with you."
Joy intervened,"What were you fighting about anyway?"
"Nothing" Eddie sighed.
Amber looked up from her perfectly polished nails, "What did you do?"
"What makes you think I did something wrong?" They shot him a look.
"It was KT. She was flirting with me and before I could say I was dating someone Patricia saw and assumed I was flirting back." He groaned and ran out of the room to continue his search for his girlfriend.
"Where's Mara?" Amber suddenly asked.
"Checkmate!" Jerome said victoriously.
"What? How's that possible... No one has ever beat me in chess." Mara said mouth agape.
Jerome mocked hurt "I'm hurt you underestimate my chess skills."
They laughed. Footsteps were heard and the door flew open. Alfie emerged through the door frantically.
"Jerome can I speak to you." Jerome gave him a 'Go On' look. "In private."
He looked at Mara who gave him a reassuring smile. He got up and Alfie grabbed him and yanked him out of the room.
"Yes Alfie, what did you do now?" Jerome said irritated.
"I have a problem. You see I love Willow more than anything in the world but every time I try to start a mature conversation with her it always ends up turning into a conversation about hedgehogs or a discussion whether unicorns exist..."
"So why don't you speak to her about that?"
"That's not the problem. You know the new girl Amber, the one with blonde hair and the most beautiful smile, well we kind of kissed. And after that I can't stop thinking about her."
"Wow... Well you're screwed." Jerome grabbed an apple from the kitchen and left a frustrated Alfie behind.
The five girls got up and did their usual routine they have done for the past week. Nina woke up earlier than the rest of them always went in the shower first. After her Mara, Joy or Patricia would usually take a shower. And lastly Amber due to her taking forever in the shower well according to Patricia anyways.
Patricia went to school early to prevent getting caught by Eddie. Joy decided to come with her.
"So how long you going to avoid Eddie for? You can't still be mad at him" Joy asked.
"I'm not it's just amusing to see him beg." They laughed.
They got to the entrance of the school but the 'wicked witch of the west' as Patricia calls KT stopped them. "Where do you think you going?" She sneered.
"To our classes. Now if you don't mind moving we don't want to get late." Joy grinned.
"Well if you can't see that everybody are lining up there." KT pointed to the long line who were lined up with half the school.
"We noticed, we just didn't care enough." Patricia remarked. The rest of the gang caught up with them. "Now if you don't mind you kind of standing in the way."
KT scoffed, "Whatever!" She went back to sorting the line of people.
"What was that about?" Nina asked. Joy and Patricia shrugged.
"Patricia please listen to me!" Eddie said desperately. Patricia ignored him and continued to walked to her locker. She opened her locker amused by Eddie's pleas. She shut her locker. Then she grabbed Eddie, pushed him against her locker and kissed him roughly. He moaned and the kiss became more passionate.
Patricia broke the kiss and whispered "You forgiven."
Eddie's grin broke into a smirk. He walked after Patricia and grabbed her. He pushed her into the janitor's closet and closed it quickly.
Nina and Joy were looking for clubs to sign up for. The Academy had a variety of clubs ranging from debate club to chess club. From all the girls Joy and Nina had almost the same interests. In favourite foods, favourite ice cream toppings and sometimes the same interest in boys.
"See any nice clubs to join?" Joy asked.
"The Ancient Egyptian Research club sounds interesting." Nina replied looking at the sign up sheet.
"Boring." Joy said. Nina rolled her eyes and wrote her name down. Like i said they almost had the same interests.
"It's quite fascinating isn't it?" Someone from behind her said. She turned around.
"Fabian." He said holding his hand out to shake. Nina blushed faintly and then extended her hand out to shake his.
"I know. You in Anubis House. I'm Nina." Nina said sheepishly.
"I know. You one of the new girls." Fabian said smiling.
"Nina!" Joy called out for Nina who was way behind her.
"I have to go." she said mentally groaning. "Ill see you later." Nina left to catch up with Joy leaving a flustered Fabian behind.
