A Felicitous Fifteenth:
Harry sneezed as something cold and scaly poked his nose. He stubbornly covered himself again as the movement caused his blanket to fall. A cold appendage flicked across his face as he squirmed back to bed before it completely yanked his covers off.
Sleepily, Harry hissed at the annoyance, $Go away!$
The cold thing went away, and Harry was about to fall back into warm, cozy slumber when a girly shriek made him spring out of bed. It seemed that sometime during the night, Harry's curtains had fluttered open due to him forgetting to tie them together, or use a sticking charm in his angry state. His heart hammering its way out of his chest, Harry snapped his head around looking for the dying animal which his mother was playing with.
The only thing Harry saw, however; was a quivering Draco Malfoy being greeted by his Mother. His Father was still in bed, taking advantage of Harry's absence to steal his spot.
$What a cute ickle bitty Hatchling! And sssuch a delectable baby morsssel! Doesss the sssnacky poo mind ickle Tähdet taking an ickle bitty bite out of him? I promissse it won't be too painful!$
Harry giggled at his mother's sweet greeting to his friend, before frowning and looking for the screamer. Who the heck was getting tortured? All of a sudden, there was a muffled thump and an unconscious Malfoy slid slowly off his bed, head first, onto the floor.
Laughing at the blond, Harry sauntered off to shower and tidy up. His friend had such poor health! Soon, Harry heard the morning moans and groans of his dorm mates waking up. A few seconds later, Harry pelted back into the bed area, toothbrush in mouth, foam dripping down his chin, as he scanned the room breathlessly for what caused several more screams.
The scene was hilarious and chaotic, Theo and Draco were huddled behind a pale Blaise, quivering slightly, and Crabbe and Goyle blinked stupidly at the floor. Curiously, they were grunting something about wiggly ropes and , um, something about chocolate frogs, but Harry paid them no attention.
Harry whirled to face Draco and crew, and stormed up to them angrily.
"What is going on?!"
"S-snakes! Giant Snakes" yelped Theo.
"There was a monster on me when I woke up! I just know that is was going to eat me! My Father will hear about this! He'll make sure that stupid headmaster is sent to Azkaban for allowing vicious creatures into this School! I am a Malfoy and I deserve better!"
By the end of his rant, Draco was panting lightly and slightly red faced, his righteous, indignant anger overwhelming his fear. The other boys were also getting over their fear in favor of laughing at Draco's outburst.
"You say that every time you're angry Dray," snorted Blaise.
"Because I am a Malfoy, and Malfoys always get what they want!" claimed the spoilt blond.
While this was happening, Harry was busy looking for his parents. Although he was still sore about being laughed at he wanted his new friends to meet his family. Harry was just absolutely positive his dorm mates would love them!
Harry didn't have time to find his parents, though, as Draco chose that moment to let out a screech and leap out of his bed, scurrying to the bathroom. Harry looked on in amusement as the rest of his dorm mates dragged themselves out of bed.
When Harry and his dorm mates finally left their room, they found that most of the house had already gathered in the common room and were waiting patiently for something. Soon, the Head of the House, Professor Snape, swept in with his robes fluttering.
Idly, Harry wondered what would happen if his mother caught sight of those robes. She'd probably pounce on them and rip the bat's wings, I mean robes, right off him. Harry's nearly silent snickers at the face Snape would make should this happen caused his dorm mates to look at him with concern.
After another lecture on Slytherin Pride, all the students were handed a piece of parchment and told to behave or not get caught. With that, Snape fluttered out of the room. Harry snickered again before looking at his time table. He rolled his eyes at the classes when he saw who they were partnered up with. Gryffindors. Yuck.
When Harry stood up to leave, his dorm mates cornered him to interrogate him. Blaise and Draco sauntered up to Harry and Draco started to talk.
"What were you laughing at Harry?"
Harry, wanting a little payback for last night, just smirked mysteriously and sauntered off. He would have to come up with something to back up his threat now. The rest of his dorm mates, however, looked at each other in concern. What was Harry going to do?
Being treated like a rag doll really wasn't much fun, mused Harry quietly as he was dragged off to the Great Hall for breakfast. His feet actually flew off the floor a few times. The other boys panted as they rushed along.
"This is all your fault, Dray. Hair doesn't need that much gel!"
Blaise wheezed angrily as he narrowly avoided slipping on a section on the floor.
"… shut up."
Suddenly, the doors to the Hall loomed before them and the purebloods relaxed into a slow saunter. Hair and clothes fluttered softly at the speed change, before settling down perfectly fixed. Harry gaped a bit at the transformation, before looking at his own windswept attire.
He frowned as he tugged on his robes absentmindedly. How was he supposed to be a dark lord if he didn't look perfect at all times? His train of thought was interrupted as Malfoy turned to see what was keeping Harry. Scowling some, the fussy blond stomped up to the parselmouth and began to fix his clothing. Right, he had a Malfoy to make him look pretty.
Before a startled Harry could thank the blond, Draco snapped, "Malfoys do not walk with slovenly dredges."
Harry pouted and stormed off, Blondie would pay for that!
