Episode: 9 Exia
In the middle of the Tokyo business district a large tower stands tall above all else this tower is home to the oldest and greatest company ever made founders of new technologies from fuel to medicine as well as baby products this is Exia tower the main headquarters of Exia technologies incorporated and inside the tower was Kioshi and he was here to see his friend Aaron
"Hey there I'm here to see Aaron the head of the research division?" Asked Kioshi.
"Do you have an appointment?" Asked a secretary.
"Yes he does." Said Aaron.
Then out if nowhere an old man of 80 years dressed in a light blue shirt tan pants a white lab coat and brown shoes he has gray eyes and white hair and miraculously had almost no wrinkles
"Hello Kioshi it's good to see you again." Said Aaron as he smiles.
"Likewise Aaron." Said Kioshi.
"Now shall we go Kioshi?" Asked Aaron.
"Of course Aaron." Said Kioshi as the two went to the research labs.
5 minutes later
The two friends arrived at the research labs these labs are filled with scientists research samples and equipment ranging from medical research to genetic engineering and even making a better candy bar the two are going to his office to tell Kioshi about the progress of the world gate research which he named Project: bifrost he saw Kioshi as the grandson he never had due to his love for science and his intelligence and for his true love Midori who despite looking and acting like a brainless twit she actually a natural born politic
"Were here Kioshi." Said Aaron as he opens the door to his office.
"So what progress you made?" Asked Kioshi as he gets to the point.
"To the point as usual eh Kioshi." Said Aaron as Kioshi nods.
"Well then other then the fact that Louise is the 'portal girl' not much." Said Aaron.
The name Portal girl is referring to Louise using the world's gate in the middle of Tokyo for everyone to see he does not know if Louise knows he internet fame but after Saito told him about Louise's pride he kept his mouth shut
With Louise and Saito
"Achoo." Sneezed Louise as Saito gives her a handkerchief.
"Hey Louise you ok?" Asked Saito as Louise wipes her nose.
"I'm fine but I think I might be catching a cold." Said Louise.
"Or someone might be talking about you behind you're back." Said Saito as three question marks hover over her head.
Back with Kioshi and Aaron
"I see Aaron you need more data on the portal." Said Kioshi.
"Yes I need more data a through scan of the gate would suffice." Said Aaron.
"Well I'll have to ask for Saito's consent and the recording I gave you?" Asked Kioshi.
"The words are not enough whatever this 'Void magic' is it's needed to activate the spell." Said Aaron as he explained to Kioshi.
"You believe in magic now?" Asked Kioshi as he raised an eyebrow.
"What have I've told you about magic?" Said Aaron to Kioshi.
"That It's only a science that we don't understand yet." Said Kioshi as he get's a smile from Aaron.
"That's right Kioshi smart as ever." Said Aaron in a happy tone.
"Thanks you old man I'm sure that you'll be famous because of Bifrost." Said Kioshi in a happy tone.
"Fame is nice but I'm doing it for the love of science." Said Aaron as hears someone knocks his door.
"(Who could it be)?" Thought Kioshi as the door opens to reveal a secretary.
"Excuse me Mr. Alfonse?" Said a secretary.
"Yes what is it?" Asked Aaron not noticing the secretary nervousness.
"Well it's just um." Said the secretary in a very nervous tone.
"What is it?" Asked Kioshi.
"Lady Exia has asked for your presence." Said the secretary as she leaves.
"Oh shit it must be big if your boss for you personally." Said Kioshi as Aaron nods.
"Let's go then I want to know what's happening." Said Aaron.
10 minutes later at the 200th floor of Exia tower
The two friends arrives at the top floor of the tower when they got there the way to the office was very simple hallway it had two chairs the secretary's desk and a door that leads to Lady Exia's office
"Excuse me miss I'm here to see lady Exia." Said Aaron as the secretary opens the door for him.
"Kioshi you'll have to stay here she only called upon me ok." Said Aaron.
"I understand Aaron I'll stay." Said Kioshi as he sits down in one of the chairs.
In Lady Exia's office.
"Have you called me milady?" Asked Aaron as the woman in front of him nods.
The woman in question was young tall and has a d-cup bust but that was it for the employees know that no one ever saw the face of Lady Exia because she always wears a full head mask on her head and for the few who have seen her face never lived to tell
"I have and I'm sure you know the reason I've called you here." Said Lady Exia.
"It's about Bifrost isn't it?" Asked Aaron.
"Yes the idea is good and the proof provided by your friend makes the project tempting." Said Lady Exia.
"I'm sensing a but here." Said Aaron as he puts his hand on his chin.
"But it would be too costly and dangerous to pursue this world's gate that is why I'm putting it in our lowest priority on our research labs." Said Lady Exia.
Aaron mood was dampened and split on one hand Bifrost would get it's funding but it would be very little and one the other hand he knew that something like this would happen
"I see Lady Exia." Said Aaron.
"Here are your and Kioshi's orders." Said Lady Exia as Aaron's eyes widen.
"But Kioshi doesn't work here." Said Aaron.
"As of now he Bifrost's data gatherer he must gather all the data he can." Said Lady Exia as Aaron nods.
"I see then I'll tell him." Said Aaron.
"Good you may leave now." Said Lady Exia as Aaron bows and leaves the office.
Outside of the office
"Aaron you're back." Said Kioshi as he sees his friend leave the office.
"Well I got good news and bad news Kioshi." Said Aaron.
"Ok give to me straight." Said Kioshi.
"The good is that Project: Bifrost will be funded." Said Aaron in a happy tone.
"And the bad news?" Asked Kioshi.
"The bad news is that it's put in the lowest priority." Said Aaron as Kioshi gives off a small smile.
"At least it's better then nothing Aaron." Said Kioshi.
"Oh by the way Kioshi you're on Exia's payroll now." Said Aaron as Kioshi gave him a WTF look.
"Since when?" Asked Kioshi.
"Just now you're Bifrost's official Data gatherer." Said Aaron.
"I see Aaron." Said Kioshi as he still surprised that he now works for Exia.
"Well let me be the first to say Welcome to Project: Bifrost Kioshi." Said Aaron as he smiles and shakes Kioshi's hand.
"(Well Let's see if this can work out in the end)". Thought KIoshi as he now thinks on a way to gather Data.
"Say Aaron you want some ramen?" Asked Kioshi.
"Sure I'm getting hungry myself." Said Aaron as he rubs his stomach.
"Well let's go to Koizumi's I'm buying." Said Kioshi as the two leave.
Lady Exia's Office
"Hmm if this is what I think it is then that country will feel a grand change." Said Lady Exia as she looks at the data Kioshi provided.
"(To think it would one of his disciples that would bring about this change)". Thought Lady Exia.
