Marisol paces back and forth, a little stick in her hand before she places it on the counter and turns to face Ally, who had walked in and sat on the toilet.

"At least it was after your graduation?" Ally offers, making Marisol exhale loudly. "It's not like this will stop your from going to college. And, you're mom will be super supportive."

"We don't even have the results yet Ally!" Marisol breathes out, slumping against the door to the bathroom and placing her face over her hands.

"Protected sex is key." Ally says, and Marisol looks up, giving her a glare. "I'm just saying. You and Riley are just fucking around unprotected and this is what happens!"

"How long did it say to wait?" Marisol asks, trying not to cry. This was not supposed to happen. She did not mean for this to happen. She forgot to take the pill for two weeks, and that must've been when all this happened. She would try not to have sex with him, but there were days where they would walk into her house, he'd watch her take off her shoes and he'd just pounce on her. Sometimes, he wouldn't even wait until she had her shoes off. He was too much for her.

This wasn't supposed to happen.

"You have a minute left." Ally says, giving Marisol a sympathetic look. She knew how the Freeman boys were when it came to getting what they wanted. And if sex was what they wanted, then they would get it. And she's heard some things about Riley, not only from Marisol but from the hoes he used to fuck with. The two sit in silence, Marisol trying not to lose her mind.

"Check it now." Ally says, and Marisol looks up, her eyes wide and full of fear.

"You look first." She whispers, her stomach in knots. Ally nods, and grabs the pregnancy test, careful not to touch the side that's been peed on. Ally bites her lip as she looks at the two pink lines.

"Marisol." She mutters, and Marisol looks up, tears in her eyes.

"Ally?" She whispers and Ally looks away.

"Yeah." She mutters and Marisol lets out a breath.

"No." She breathes out, sliding down onto the floor. "No." She repeats, her voice trembling. "Ally, I can't. Ally please." She cries, and Ally gulps.

"It'll be fine. Your mom-"

"Ally, I'm only eighteen. Everyone will be so disappointed in me."

"Marisol, it'll be fine-"

"No! This wasn't supposed to happen!" Marisol sobs, her hands over her face. "I'm not supposed to be pregnant. We were supposed to get married first and have jobs. I can't be-" She's cut off by the sound of Ally's phone ringing. Ally pulls her phone out and looks at it.

"It's Riley." She mutters.

"Don't answer it!" Marisol says, and Ally gives her a look.

"We gotta tell him." She says.

"Ally, don't you dare! Ally-"

"Hello?" Ally answers the phone, putting it on speaker.

"You butt dialed me." He mutters, and Ally looks at Marisol, Marisol's eyes wide and full of fear and anxiety. "What's going on? I heard something about unprotected sex before it cut off. You with Mari?"

"Uhm… yeah." Ally says, letting out a breath. "Say hi Marisol."

"Hey." Marisol weakly says.

"Marisol, what's wrong?" Riley says.

"Nothing. I'm just.. half awake." Marisol says, pushing her hair out of her face and wiping her tears. "I'm really tired."

"You sure, babe?" He asks and Marisol nods.

"Yeah." She breathes out. "I'm fine."

"So what was y'all talking about?" He asks, and Ally looks at Marisol.

"Tell him." She mouths, and Marisol shakes her head.

"Uhm, nothing much. Just… unprotected sex." Marisol says. "Nothing too crazy." She says, letting out a fake laugh.

"Come over, Riley." Ally says causing Marisol to give her a shocked look. "I haven't seen you in forever."

"Sorry, but I gotta meet up with my niggas and-"

"We'll come over there." Ally says.

"No, let Riley be with the guys-"

"If you want to." Riley says. "I don't think anyone will trip off of it."

"I don't know Ri-"

"Marisol has something important to tell you so I don't know why she's trying to get herself out of this." Ally says, cutting Marisol off. "We are going to go see you, and she's going to tell you what she needs to."

"Ally." Marisol whines, closing her eyes.

"What?" Riley says. "What's wrong?"

"We'll see you in a couple of minutes." Ally says before hanging up. Ally gets up and opens the bathroom door. "Come on, Marisol."

"Ally, please." She mutters.

"I will dress you if I have to! You have to tell him! It's his child too! You cannot keep him in the dark."

Marisol takes a deep breath, trying to keep herself together, and holds her hand out. Ally takes it, pulling Marisol up and pulling her into a hug. "I love you baby. All you have are supportive people on your team. Nothing bad is going to happen."

"Thanks Al."

Within minutes, Marisol was dressed in a black button up flannel, black leggings and her brown Timbs, and was pacing a hole in the floor.

"Ally, please hurry before I lose the will to leave the house."

"Sorry! I had to pee." Ally says, opening the door with wet hands. "Are you driving or me?"

"You. Because I know in the middle of the journey there, imma make a u turn."

"True." She says, grabbing Marisol's keys off of the key rack. "Let's go." She says and they were in the car.

The whole car ride, Marisol was quietly sitting, fiddling with anything she could and bouncing her leg, trying to lose herself to the music on the radio. But it wasn't working. The bouncing of her leg brought her back to the situation at hand, and when she would try to stop bouncing her leg, her fiddling hands brought her thoughts back to babies and Riley, and her pregnancy. She places her hands on her stomach, closing her eyes tightly. She just thought she was gaining a bit of weight. She didn't think it would be a baby bump.

Her fingers pull her shirt up and she runs the other hand over her stomach, getting a better feel for everything. "I'm so fucking pregnant." She mutters, tears filling her eyes again. "Jesus." She breathes out.

"Just breathe, Marisol. I'm sure telling Riley will make you feel better."

"Sure." She lets out, sarcasm and anxiety in her voice. "In front of all his niggas. Oh God, take me back home!"

"Marisol."

"Please, Ally! Take me back home! Oh God." She groans, her hands covering her face. "I can't do this!"

"Marisol, we are pulling up now."

"No!" She cries.

"Riley is outside of his house and he can see you being a nervous wreck!" Ally hisses, keeping her eyes on Riley, who was walking over to the parked car. He taps on Marisol's window, and Marisol looks at him wide eyed, then at Ally who had unlocked the doors.

Riley opens the door. "Ally, take me back home." Marisol says, keeping her eyes on her friend.

"What's wrong?" Riley asks, unbuckling her seat belt.

"No, no, no." Marisol says, grabbing it, but Riley grabs her arm, and pulls her out of the car as gently as he could. He wraps his arms around her, keeping her close to him.

"Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry." He mutters, and Marisol frowns.

"No! Riley, I just wanna go home."

"Please tell me what I did." He says.

"You didn't do anything Riley." Ally says, then thinks about it. "Well you did. I'm going inside. You better tell him Marisol or I will." Ally away from the driveway and into the house.

"Marisol, what did I do?" He asks, desperation in his voice. He pulls away, keeping her at arms length. "I don't remember doing anything wrong, but I don't know if-"

"Riley, I'm pregnant." Marisol whispers.

"What?"

"I'm pregnant." She says, her voice a tiny bit louder than before, but he heard her. The words ring loud in his head and he looks at her, his face blank.

"Swear?"

"Yeah."

His hands drop from her arms and stay by his sides. "How long?"

"I don't know. A couple of months maybe. I feel a bump."

"Swear?"

"Yeah."

"Damn." He mutters, and she closes her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I didn't me-"

"Why are you apologizing?" He asks, placing his hands under her shirt and roaming around her stomach before lacing behind her back. "God, I fucking love you." He says, pulling him to her. She closes her eyes tightly, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I thought you were going to break up with me or something. I could not let that shit happen."

"I wouldn't, Riley."

"Jesus, I was so scared. Like, Marcus and James looked at me and were like 'nigga is you about to cry' and I was tryna say something to front but like the thought of you leaving me was crazy painful. So I told them straight up that I thought you was finna break up with me and they got all quiet and somber and shit, and we sat in silence until I walked out and waited for y'all." He mutters, lifting Marisol up a bit. She wraps her legs around him and he carries her into the house.

"Is that you Riley?" James asks. Riley places Marisol back on her feet, and she holds his hand tightly, looking down.

"Yeah." Riley says, and him and Marcus get up and walk over to them.

"Oh, shit. Thank God." Marcus says, pulling Marisol into a tight hug. "I thought the squad was finna break up. It was finna be all bad."

"Nigga be careful." Riley says, and Marcus sends him a glare.

"Bruh, this is my sister."

"Nigga, that's my baby momma." Riley says, and Marcus rolls his eyes, but lets go of Marisol.

"Man, I was scared too." James says, shaking his head. "But when Riley was walking around with tears in his eyes, it was low key funny." Marisol gives him a look and he laughs. "I'm dead ass- Ow! Nigga, be careful." James exclaims, rubbing his arm. "You can't go around punching niggas. You might damage the muscle and bitches love muscles."

"Nigga, please." Riley says. "Where's Ally?"

"Lil asian girl?" Marcus asks, and Riley nods. "She went to the bathroom." Marcus says, looking down the hall. "Aye, do she got a nigga, because I'm tryna-"

"She got out with my brother nigga!" Riley says, punching Marcus's arm.

"Damn, aight then bruh. Shit, nigga caught him a good one. She hella cute."

"So, why did you have this nigga in tears anyway?" James asks, crossing his arms.

"He overreacted when Ally said I had something to tell him."

"Little bitch." James mutters and tenses up for another punch. He relaxes a bit, looking at Riley. "I thought you was finna hit me- Ow! Nigga!" James rubs the other arm.

"Betta quit that shit." Riley says.

"You need to quit punching on me like I'm some kid!"

"What did you need to tell this nigga lil sis?" Marcus asks, ignoring James and Riley's antics. Marisol looks to the side, slightly nervous and Riley's face splits into a smile.

"I'm finna be a father my nigga!" Riley shouts at the top of his lungs, lifting Marisol up and twirling her around.

"Swear to God!"

"You got my little sister pregnant, nigga! I should beat yo ass!"

"Can she be your little sister first?" Riley shouts, and Marcus grabs him, causing the two to play fight.

Marisol watches with a smile, Ally walking up and wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

"That wasn't too bad." Marisol says, making Ally roll her eyes as they watch Marcus and James fight Riley.

"That shit ain't fair! Y'all can't tag team me, pause! You better quit playin nigga!" Riley exclaims, dodging slaps.

"Your kid is gonna have some great uncles and a perfect aunt." Ally says, and kisses Marisol's cheek.

"I know." Marisol responds with a smile.
