A/N: This is a sequel chapter to the one-shot: Game Night. I made this a Make-shift Moment though because it does involve Gar. So without further ado, MAKESHIFT FAMILY OF THREE CHAPTER FOUR I THINK!
It had been at least four years since the original team had had a 'Game Night'. It was a Friday evening in June and everyone was in the living room with nothing better to do but stare at the TV that wasn't even on or chewing their tongues in place of gum. Megan shook her head at the sight and cupped her hands around her mouth.
"EVERYONE! WE'RE HAVING GAME NIGHT TONIGHT!" She announced loudly as everyone (except Garfield) suddenly jumped up and began to protest this notion.
"Conner nearly killed me last time!" Robin shouted, flailing his arms about in a dramatic manner.
"Theres still a hole in the wall!" Artemis complained, pointing to said hole.
"Agreed, game night is simply to dangerous." Kaldur said in a matter-of-fact way.
"It was the moops." Conner mumbled lowly.
"WAS NOT!" Robin shouted, having heard the other.
"Whats game night?" a voice suddenly piped up.
Everyone turned to face Garfield who had stopped biting his tongue and was looking very confused.
"You've never heard of game night!" They all shouted in unison.
"No. What is it?" Gar asked leaning on the couch and smiling up at the team.
"Well, on Fridays we used to get together and play three games, depending on whose turn it was to pick the game." Robin explained, trying to remember how it went.
"Used to?" Gar asked suddenly confused again.
"Yeah, there was an incide- Moors!" Robin shouted as Conner tackled him to the floor.
One trip to the ER later:
Five hours later, after the mess had been cleaned up and their two teammates were released from the hospital, the team found themselves sitting in a circle around a campfire outside.
"OK, Gar since its your first game night, you pick the game." Megan said taking her little brother's hand in hers and smiling gently.
"OK, Um, how about Celebrity?" He suggested, with a smile that matched his sister's. "I heard them playing it on 'Hello Megan'."
"Yeah, I know that game." Robin piped up suddenly "So we name a celebrity and go clockwise unless you do a double then you go the other way around."
And so the game began with Gar starting them off.
"Leonardo De Caprio." Garfield said starting the game.
"Well since you said Leonardo, I'm going to have to go with Tom Hanks." Megan said smiling, next to her was Wally.
"Um, Zach Effron." Wally said receiving a few giggles and side comments from the team. Next was Kaldur.
"I only know about this- Justin Beiber." He said "Kinda a strange name for a girl. Must be a land thing."
Everyone laughed. Artemis went next.
"Patton manning." She said folding her arms. "Your turn Conner."
"Merlin Monroe." Everyone laughed and clapped.
"Good one Suppey, Arty back to you." Wally announced.
"Jennifer Saunders!" Artemis shouted "You turn again Conner."
"Carmen Diaz!" Conner answered with out missing a beat.
"Your turn Dick." Megan pointed out while pointing to said boy.
" Minnie Driver" Dick said right away with a blunt expression.
"Who? That isn't a real celebrity." Conner said folding his arms.
"Is so! She was in Return to me!" Dick responded, sounding a tad bit annoyed.
"That name sounds fake!" Conner shouted back. "I challenge!"
Robin rolled his eyes as everyone took out their mini computers and typed in the name into a search box.
"Hes right Conner." Megan said turning her screen to show him.
"Your using Wikipedia! That doesn't count!" He mumbled.
"It does so!" Artemis called over to him.
"Does not!" Conner yelled back, pointing at the blonde.
"Does too!" Robin retaliated in annoyance.
"Does not!" Conner was beginning to turn a bit red now.
"DOES TOO!" Final straw for the little bird.
"DOES NOT!" That's it, they both snapped and tackled each other.,
"Now I see why you guys don't do this anymore." Garfield commented popping a marshmallow into his mouth and watching the 'fireworks'.
