Seth and The Raven made their way through the arena. There were plenty of crew and staff members there doing the final touches for tonight's Raw. There were a few superstars, who arrived early but most would be there soon. The Raven turned toward Seth and got on her tippy toes and kissed him on the lips. She turned to walk way, when the grabbed her by the arm.

"Where are you going?"

"To find the Authority locker room."

"I want you to come with me." He didn't care if Hunter got mad. He wasn't going to start keeping secrets from him, he was already doing enough of that and didn't like it.

"But if I do, Hunter will know that you have told me.", she said with concern.

"I don't care. He will know one way or another."

"Ok."

He released her and she took his hand as they walked to where they believed Hunter's office would be. Once Seth found his office he knocked on the door.

"Come in." He heard Hunter say.

"Just the guy I was hoping to see." Hunter said as he approached Seth but stopped when he saw The Raven. "What is she doing here?", he said with irritation.

"She is with me.", Seth responded calmly.

"I see that but why?", Hunter was starting to get upset. "I told you not to tell anyone especially her I don't want this getting out. You really don't care about your career do you Rollins?"

"Don't worry Hunter, I won't say word about your plans. I won't jeopardize Seth's career.", she said reassuringly.

Hunter paused for a long moment considering what she said, he seemed satisfied and once again turned his attention to Seth. "Well Rollins?"

"Yes, I will join the Authority.", he said without hesitation.

"Good, I am pleased you said yes. I like working with people that understand the business."

"So how is this suppose to go down?", Seth asked.

"I haven't worked that out completely but I will let you know after Payback. This will go down as one of the greatest betrayals of all time because no one is expecting it. Also, with this betrayal you will become one of the greatest and baddest heels of all times. You, Seth is what is needed to make things more interesting around here." Hunter was happy at least something was going the way he wanted it to. Evolution losing didn't seem so terrible now that he had plan B ready.

"I look forward to working with you, Kane, Randy and Batista. I am sure I will learn a lot from you guys." Seth meant it, Hunter had been around the industry for 20 years and that is considered a lifetime in this business. He held his hand out to Hunter. They shook hands.

Hunter could see that Seth was not completely happy by all this. "Cheer up Seth, your that much closer to being the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Look at the upside, you will be closer to your girlfriend." Hunter said has he looked at The Raven standing beside Seth. They actually made a good looking couple, mmm Hunter had another idea but that would have to wait for now. He wanted to first establish Seth as the ultimate heel for the Authority.

"Well, we should get going we have to get ready for tonight's Raw." Seth just wanted to leave now. It didn't bother him to be the heel, he was in some of the previous companies he was with, but unlike the previous storylines, this one was being kept in the dark. It would make it easier if he could plan it out with Roman and Dean but Hunter was determine to get as much drama out of it as he could.

"Look at the bright side, you guys might end up losing to Evolution and none of this will come to fruition.", Hunter said with false bravado.

"I doubt that Hunter, Roman and Dean are determine to annihilate Evolution."

"Then I guess it is to bad for you. But again I don't want this getting out to anyone else especially to Roman and Dean, I don't want them to see it coming I want the element of surprise and shock at your actions. Or I swear Seth your career will be cut short.", he said menacingly.

Seth nodded his head acknowledging Hunter's threat. The Raven said nothing as she stood beside Seth and witness their exchange. Seth then guided her out of Hunter's office to find their perspective locker rooms.

The Raven had been awake for 30 minutes waiting patiently for Seth to wake up. "Also, I have a present for you." His big brown eyes popped open and he looked up at her with a grin. "A present? I can think of one I would like right now." He pulled the rest of the suit out of the box, the label on the black suit read Giorgio Armani. "Raven this is an awesome suit but this is way too much." He was surprised and flattered by her generosity.

"No it's not, you are joining the Authority and you are going to need a nice suit. Come on try it on." She grabbed the suit and pulled him off the bed and handed him the pants to put on first. When he was done putting on the pants, she held the jacket up so he could put his arm then the other through the jacket sleeves. She then lift the jacket to his shoulders. "Its ok Raven, I believe you. At first I was upset that you had lied to me, but Roman said you were probably trying to get me gift or something for my birthday. It took everything in me not to go look for you."

The Raven could see he was not upset, so she put her arms around his waist again. She smiled up at him, "So, does this mean you are starting to trust me?" When she returned from buying his gift, he seemed bothered but she thought it was because she was gone for a couple of hours. He did not question where she was.

"Good." Her smile widen even more and she pecked him on the lips. "You should take a shower Roman and Dean will be here soon."

"Speaking about them, they want to take us out tonight for my birthday." He could see her smile fade from her face and she looked down at his chest.

"I see, I wish you could tell them.", she said sadly.

"You know I can't, you heard what Hunter said. Raven I don't have a crystal ball, I can't see into the future. All I know is that I have this incredible opportunity to advance and reach my goal. An opportunity I may never get again. I just can't walk away from it, not when I am so close. I have done everything there is with the Shield and it is time to move on."

She looked up at him and could see the determination in his eyes and hear the conviction in his voice. "I am sorry Seth I don't mean to make this harder on you." As much as she hated what he was going to do to Roman and Dean, she admired him because he knew exactly what he wanted and as hard as that journey was to follow at times he was determine to see it to the end. She just hoped that when it was all done it was worth it.

"Its ok, I know this has been difficult for you to accept but thank you for siding with me. Let's just enjoy their company tonight and worry about the rest later." Seth hugged her and rested his chin on top of her head. He didn't want to think about what was going to happen after Payback. He wanted to enjoy the time he had with them. He knew that Roman would be mad at first but would eventually understand his decision. Dean on the other hand, he was unsure of, even though, he gave this rough exterior. He was really a softy in the inside and he knew that Dean would probably take it badly. They did not need him they had all established themselves with the Shield and their careers would be fine because they were the fan favorites.
