Chapter 14: Explain, young man

The voice said, looking around. "Rhydian!" The woman shouted, again and again. Her head cocked when she heard snoring in the living room, she slowly walked in. "Rhydian!" She screamed, and ran upstairs into his room. "Wake up young man." The woman said, shaking him. "Huh? Oh, ah..." Rhydian said, jerking his body, along with Maddy's. "Huh, what's going on?!" Maddy yelped panicked. "Young man, you have some explaining to do." She said, looking at her foster son with an 'evil' eye. "Yes, mom," He sighed, and stood up, "latez Mads." He said, looking down at her, as she slumped back onto the bed. Rhydian sighed, and followed his mother out the bedroom door, and they talked in the hall way.

"I know that Maddy's family is staying here until they get their house back, but who are those kids on the floor?" Mrs. Vaughn said, "and why are you all scratched up?" She looking at him. "Oh, the kids? Maddy's younger siblings, and I was walking through the forest, and fell into a thorn bush, it ripped open my skin. No big deal mom." He said, smiling. "Fine. I believe ya. Don't make me regret it." She said, hugging her son lightly. "Go back to bed." She ordered, turning around, and laughed. Rhydian shook his head, and walked back into his room, and slipped back into the bed with Maddy, she turned and snuggled against his chest.

"What was that about?" Maddy said, looking up at him. "Nothing, she wanted to know who our cubs were." He looked her. "What? You told her?" Maddy said panicked, jerking her head up. "Of course not, Mads. I'm stupid, Maddy. I told her that they are your siblings, so, we'll have to tell the cubs, so they don't tell her." Rhydian said, looking down at her, "go back to sleep Mads." He finished. "I'm actually not that tired." She said, looking up at him. "Well, I am." Rhydian complained, sighing. "Well.. Never mind." She huffed; laid her head back down onto his bare chest. "You serious?" He chuckled, and tickled her lightly. She giggled, and looked up. They began to kiss, but each fell asleep after five minutes.

It was the next day, and everyone but Maddy and Rhydian were awake. Emma was in Rhydian's room, and she began to gently shake Rhydian, who jerked up with Maddy. "Oh, uh... Hi.." He said, slightly embarrassed. Maddy looked at her. "Go take the plasters off." Emma said, pointing to the bathroom. "Or, mam, you can leave the room and we could take them off in here." Maddy said, looking at her. "Fine." Emma said, walking out of the room. Each of them, stood up, and began to take off the taped on plasters. "God, that hurt." Maddy complained, as she finished taking off her bandages. "You think?" Rhydian said with his complaining voice, as always.

"Are you done yet?" Emma asked through the door. "Yeah, mam." Maddy said, turning to Rhydian. Emma walked into the room, and turned them around. "Their healed." Emma said with a smile, and she began to take out the stitches. Grasping the thread, pulled the knot, cut. Grasping the thread pulled the knot, cut. Emma continued to the end off all the wounds, and then took a wet wash cloth and cleaned the blood off of their skin, and walked in front of them. "All done." Emma said, kissing Maddy on the forehead and put her hand on Rhydian's shoulder, and walked out of the room.

"Finally, I can put on a shirt." Maddy said, looking at Rhydian. "Eh, I don't mind." Rhydian chuckled, looking down at Maddy. "Yeah, but we gotta tell the cubs, and me mam and dad that the cubs are going to have to pretend their my siblings." She said, walking up to him, standing on her tippy toes, and kissed him. "You know what… Your way to tall for me." Maddy stated, giggling. "Well, maybe you're too short." Rhydian smirked, and picked Maddy up. Maddy giggled, and wrapped her legs around his waist, "And now, you're too short." Maddy complained, giggling lightly, her hair falling over her chocolate brown eyes. "Whatever Maddy." Rhydian huffed, sitting down on the bed, still with Maddy on his lap. Maddy playfully pinned him on the bed, and pecked him on the lips. He began tickling her sides, and flipped her onto the bed. They kissed lightly, and each got up. Maddy slid on one of Rhydian's shirts, and he did the same, and they walked down the stairs hand in hand.

"Hey, guys, could we talk to ya?" Maddy said to her parents and her three cubs. "Yeah, sure pet." Emma said, walking into the living room with the cubs following their grandparents. "Okay, Rhydian's mam came home from her business trip yesterday." Maddy said. "What?" Daniel said, and looked at Emma. "Well, she knew about you guys staying here, but I didn't tell her about the cubs." Rhydian said. "I panicked and said that they were your children." He said. "Why, daddy?" Fallon asked, quietly. "Daddy's mam doesn't know we're wolfbloods." Maddy said. "Oh.." Fallon sighed, and looked at her siblings. "Could you cubs, do you think that you pretend that me and daddy aren't you mam and dad?" Maddy asked, looking at the cubs. "Yes, Maddy." Sicilia, Fallon, and James all said, giggling. Maddy smiled, and looked at Rhydian. "So, what, is Rhydian not our Daddy for a while?" Sicilia asked, tilting her head slightly. Rhydian laughed, lightly, and nodded to their question. "Okay…. Rhydian." They giggled. Rhydian looked over to Maddy, who was giggling with them. He shook his head when Emma and Dan joined in. "Come on Rhydian, stop being such a boy." Maddy giggled, pushing him. Finally, Rhydian joined into the laughing, Maddy eventually leaned onto him as the wolfblood family continued laughing for a while.

It was a few hours later, and Jana was speaking to the pack about Maddy and Rhydian.

"I need your guys help. I have a plan to take down the tames." Jana said, smirking. "Who?" Ceri asked. "Maddy's family. Her, Emma, Daniel, Those cubs, and If we have to, Rhydian." Jana said, holding back her emotions when she slipped out Rhydian. The pack agreed to the alpha's request, Ceri and Bryn agreed, but were going to tell the tames.

Back at Rhydian's house, Maddy, Rhydian, Daniel, and Emma were all talking in the hall way. "We need to get as many of wolfbloods as we can, wild or tame. Do you think we can get our family and friends to come help us?" Maddy asked the older wolfbloods. "I don't know, what would I tell them?" Emma said. Sicilia walked to the side of the stairs, and moved her strawberry blonde hair from her right ear, she eavesdropped. "I don't know mam, but we have to make up something. We need as much as we can get." Maddy said, quietly.

A knock on the door, startled Sicilia. She covered her ear again, and walked to the door and opened it a crack. "Can I help you?" She asked, her head tilted. "You must be one of Rhydian's cubs. Is he here?" The person said. "Uhh… yeah.. sure." Sicilia said, and welcomed them into the house, seeing Bryn. "Daddy!" She hollered, and waited for them to come in and she shut the door. Rhydian walked down the stairs, and a huge smile appeared on his face. "Mum! Bryn!" He said, and trotted over to them, hugging both of them. "I have to warn you." Ceri said. Rhydian nodded, and trotted back up to the conversation with Maddy, Emma, and Daniel.

Downstairs, Sicilia was with Bryn. "Umm… Hi." She said, looking at him. "Hi." Bryn said. "I'm Sicilia, I guess you're my uncle?" She tilted her head a bit. "I guess." He said rudely, and walked away. "Okay, that was very friendly." Sicilia said to herself, and began to eavesdrop again.

"We have a problem. It's about Jana." Ceri said. Maddy's eyes lit by the mention of Jana. "What did she say?" Maddy asked, quietly. "She gonna attack you guys, you need to gather as much forces as you can. The entire pack besides me and Bryn agreed. We're on your side." Ceri said, looking at her son. "Thanks mum." Rhydian said, hugging his mother. "It's not a problem." She said. "Oh, and if Bryn gets moody, he's about to transform soon, so don't mind him." Ceri said. They all nodded, and walked down stairs.

"Nice eavesdropping, sweetheart." Maddy racing down the stairs, seeing her daughter standing by the staircase, and she smiled, walking to the living room. Sicilia giggled, and went to sit beside her mom, who was watching Fallon and James play. "So, Bryn is about to transform?" Sicilia asked her mother. "You the know answer, I heard him snap at you down here." Maddy said.

"Bryn, Bryn wait!" Rhydian said chasing after his brother. "Leave me alone Rhydian!" Bryn barked, and went onto the porch. "Just leave him Rhydian." Maddy sighed, and switched on the Television, and she scanned through the channels. Rhydian walked over, and slumped down onto the sofa with Maddy. "I'll go cool him down." Ceri said, and followed his scent out the door.

Maddy leaned onto Rhydian's shoulder, and he put his arm over her shoulders. "Get a room, mam!" Sicilia barked, jumping up and walking into the kitchen. Maddy and Rhydian laughed, gently kissed, and watched the television.

Outside, Bryn and Ceri were talking. "Mum, I feel like crap." He complained. "Bryn, you will have to deal with it." Ceri said to her complaining son. Ceri sniffed, and then growled.

"Get inside now."

Okay, very lame ending, sorry. I ran out of ideas, so…. Yeah… Okay, so there's a change in plan, so so sorry. What I am going to do, is post one more chapter this month as planned, and then in September, I am just going to wrap things up with two last chapters. But at least you can watch Wolfblood after you read the last chapter. Just remember, that I am 11 and I do have school, so it's very hard for me to update a lot.
