Previously:

They all spotted Sanji pop up in the ocean carrying an unconscious, young girl.

"AH! Sanji! Grab on!" Luffy extended his hand to Sanji who was reaching to grab on.

But suddenly, WOOSH! Coup de burst...

"Ah! Sanji!" Usopp yelled.

Luffy laughed as he cheerfully brought Sanji on board.

"Ah, I was a little worried there..." Robin sighed.

"ROBIN-CHWAN WAS WORRIED ABOUT ME, " Sanji smiled creepily as he muttered random gibberish words.

"Because you probably would've died out there, if it wasn't were Luffy, idiot!" Usopp slapped him continuously as Robin giggled.

"But a man cannot leave a beautiful woman to die out there just like that.

"Uh, hey guys, doesn't this girl look a bit familiar?" Luffy asked staring at the unconscious girl. Everyone crowded around her and they all agreed.

"W-W-W-WAIT A SEC. WASN'T THIS THE PIRATE WHO WAS BEING DRAGGED AROUND BY SMOKER?!" Chopper yelled.

"EH?!" The crew came to the realization that that girl really was the pirate Smoker and Tashigi caught.

CHAPTER 6: RURI, THE 15 YEAR OLD PIRATE?

"That black hair, long and wavy… Strange clothes… And she looks the same age. No doubt about it, it has to be that girl… The girl I saw i-…" Robin started but was interrupted by Franky.

"What's the deal with her? She looks like she's 12 or something!" He stared closely at the still-unconscious girl.

She suddenly moaned quietly and squirmed around a little, but still unconscious.

The crew just stared at her.

"C-CUTE~!" Sanji twirled around and around after a nasty nosebleed.

Nami sighed. She put a hand to her chest which was slightly hurting again.

"Hey, Nami, you should rest for a bit, okay?" Chopper suggested. "And about this girl," Chopper changed to human form and carried her. "It's safer to tie her up for now because we still don't know who she is." Chopper starting walking away to his room as Nami followed.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! YOU CAN'T JUST TIE UP A BEAUTIFUL LADY LIKE THAT! I SAVED HER FROM A BUNCH OF RAVENOUS PIRATES ONLY TO BE CAPTURED BY MORE RAVENOUS PIRATES?" Everyone ignored Sanji as he continued to spout more nonsense.

"I wonder why she was forced off the ship like that?" Usopp said aloud.

"Wasn't she with Smoker and uh…. Usagi?" Luffy asked.

"It's Tashigi. She probably escaped," Zoro suggested.

"Hmm… I wonder…" Robin put a hand to her chin.

"Eh? What is it, Robin?" Luffy asked.

"Ah, nothing…" She smiled as she opened a book and started reading.

A few hours passed. The girl woke up groggily on Chopper's bed, and could hear a conversation. She could feel rope around her wrists. She struggled to get free.

"Yeah, but the important thing is- eh? Ah, you're finally awake!" Nami smiled. Keeping eye contact, the girl suddenly looked shocked.

"W-what is it?" Nami asked.

The girl whispered something to herself.

"W-what was that?" Nami stuttered, wondering if she heard wrong.

The girl held up her wrists. "…Untie me… uh, please…"

"Ah, sure," As Nami was untying the ropes, the girl blushed, sweating a lot.

"It seems like you have a slight fever from staying in your wet clothes for a while. Sorry, I would've changed your clothes, but you probably would've gotten the wrong idea…" Chopper smiled. "I'm Chopper."

"I'm Nami."

"…R-Ruri…" She kept breaking eye contact every time Nami looked at her.

Ruri's stomach grumbled…

Later on

"Sanji really is the best cook! So enjoy your meal… uh… Ririn?" Luffy clearly forgot her name as well.

"…What the hell is a 'Ririn'?" Ruri gave Luffy a death stare. "…It's Ruri. RU-RI…"

"Oh, got it! Hehe, sorry… Ruyu…?" Luffy was yet again, death stared by Ruri.

"So, Ruri, how old are you? You look 15," Usopp asked as Ruri started to eat slowly.

"…Because I am…" Ruri seemed to take her time in answering questions. It seemed suspicious to the crew, especially to Robin, who couldn't take her eyes of Ruri. She could've sworn she's seen her before.

The whole crew sat around her, watching her as she continued to eat slowly.

As she finished, she placed her chopsticks down and exhaled. She knew the questions were gonna start again.

"Before you all ask and bother me, I'm Ruri, 15 years old. And I'm a pirate, I guess, and the reason I was captured by the idiot Smoker because I was taking back something that was mine to begin with that the stupid marines took from me." She had a serious look in her eye. She quickly glanced at Nami. But when she discovered Nami was also looking at her, Ruri quickly looked away.

"Hmmm…" Robin stared closely at Ruri and then came to a realization. "Ah." Everyone looked at Robin.

"What is it, Robin?" Nami asked.

"Ruri-chan," Robin smiled.

"Hm?" Ruri was starting to get nervous "…Y-yes?"

"What a cute name," Robin giggled.

Later in the night, everyone had already started to like Ruri, vice versa. Except for Zoro.

"Oi," Nami poked Zoro.

"What do you want?" Zoro angrily asked.

"You haven't even spoken to Ruri once," Nami scolded Zoro.

"Don't you think it's a little weird?" Zoro looked at Ruri who was laughing with the others.

"What are you talking a-…"

"She accepted it so easily, right?" Zoro closed his eyes again

"Huh? Accepted what?" Nami started whispering.

"She didn't question why or even where she is. She's not asking us who we are or anything like that. Don't get to comfortable with her, she's pretty suspicious…"

"Now that you mention it, a little earlier, she whispered…"

"What? What did she whisper?" Zoro opened an eye again, curious.

"Uh, well I'm not entirely sure but it sounded like she said my name. But, I hadn't introduced myself yet…" Nami thought back.

"Oh? Hair," Zoro muttered.

"…Hair?" Nami repeated, confused.

Zoro leaned in close and rearranged Nami's hair a little, leaving her blushing.

"Like that you look kinda like that black-haired chick."

Nami sighed.

"R-Ruri… Not 'black haired chick'…" Nami stuck her tongue out and then smiled,

Ruri yawned as she was falling asleep as she sat against the edge of the boat.

"Oh cute, cute, Ruri-chan, if you're sleepy, sleep with me!" Sanji attempted to kiss Ruri who was pushing him away with her feet.

"OI! GET LOST PERVERT," Nami punched Sanji who was now on the other side of the ship.

"Well, we're gonna show Ruri-chan to her room for the night," Nami grabbed Ruri and led her to a room as Robin followed.

"For now, you can sleep here," Nami smiled as she pointed to a bed.

"…Th-thank… y-" Ruri immediately fell asleep when she lay on the bed.

"It looks like, she hasn't had sleep in a while," Nami put a blanket over Ruri.

"I wouldn't be able to either if I was her," Robin muttered.

"Huh? What was that?" Nami turned to face Robin who was exiting the room.

"Nothing, just talking to myself," Robin left the room and searched around in the library. She took some newspapers from 5 years ago and started reading it.

"Hmm, so I was right… Ah, oh well, you can't hide something like this forever, Ruri," Robin placed the newspaper back.

"I guess I should tell everyone else first…" Robin thought to herself. "Or maybe it's not that serious…"

The next day, Ruri woke up, rubbing her eyes.

"Oh, good morning Ruri-chan," Nami greeted her with a smile.

A feeling of guilt struck Ruri.

"N-Nami! I'm… sorry…" Ruri bowed.

"Sorry? Ruri-chan… For what?" Nami's heart started pounding.

Ruri looked as if she was going to cry.

"Ruri-chan? What's wrong?" Nami tried to put a hand to see if she had a fever.

But Ruri slapped it away.

"Don't touch me!" Ruri yelled. "You'll hate me after I tell you, I'm sorry Nami, I really am. You're not the bad person I thought you were…"

"Huh? W-what are you going on about?" Nami's heart was pounding, faster and faster.

"…I…I…" Ruri panicked. But she needed to let it out.
