A/N: Hey! I sincerely apologise. It has been a long while since I have updated this story - but a little birdie named LittleMissLouise sent me a PM asking if (and when) this story was going to be finished. It inspired me to continue it. I cannot answer any questions though - because it'll spoil the ending for you, and we don't want that, do we?

I do thank you for your ongoing support. Enjoy.

-My Twin Sister is into Girls-

Melanie woke up and found herself in a strange bed with a pretty stranger in it. Her thoughts flew into a panic as she scrambled around the sheets finding herself completely naked. She bit her lip and started to recall snippets of the previous night and her passionate sexual interlude with another woman who was not Sam.

Another woman... who was NOT Sam!

The girl quickly jumped out of the bed and searched around the floor for anything resembling her own clothes but strangely enough she couldn't find any. What had she done with them?

It had been raining... so her clothes got a bit wet. Marcia told her to take them off so she could have them dried for her. That's not all that was wet though, Mel thought, kind of bitterly, sitting back down on the end of the bed. The last thing she wanted to do was wake up Marcia - who was sleeping peacefully.

The young woman who tempted her... who seduced her into a one-night fling... who perhaps knew that what they were doing, would hurt Sam immensely when she found out.

If she found out.

How could she be so stupid? How could she fall for such a dirty trick? Marcia wasn't Sam, by any stretch of the imagination. Yet she fell. Hook, line and sinker.

"One night," she said. "One night is all I want from you."

"...and then you'll leave me... and Sam... alone?"

"You have my word."

The girl buried her face in her hands and groaned softly.

"Good morning beautiful," she heard a voice whisper, and she felt her hair being brushed to one side as a pair of lips touched her neck with gentle kisses.

"Stop..." says the blonde, pulling away slightly or at least trying to.

"But you called a truce within these walls." Marcia whispered, not stopping her kisses.

"Truce over."

Mel stands up quickly and turns to face the young woman, perched on the edge of the bed. There's a slight smile spreading over her face, but the twin sticks to being serious.

"But I thought-"

"I have to go. Where are my clothes?"

Marcia sighs and points to a neatly folded pile of clothes next to the bed and pulls a t-shirt on over her head, staring at Mel who was getting dressed in he clean clothes.

"You don't have to go just yet..."

"I do. Sam's probably worried since I never came home last night."

"So... Are you going to tell her what happened here?"

Melanie pulls on her jacket and walks to the bedroom door. Before leaving the room she turns around to face the woman who is still sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Tell her that I cheated on her? It will totally break her heart. So, no. I won't tell her. Goodbye, Marcia."

Sam sneezed for the hundredth time that morning.

Thanks to Melanie being still not found, she had probably caught a cold or something. All she knew was that her clothes were soaked from the rain because she didn't have an umbrella with her. Stupid Mel. Or perhaps stupid Sam for not worrying about such a trivial yet important thing such as shelter from the pouring rain. It wasn't raining now though.

Thank God, thought Sam.

There was one small problem still remaining about the missing Melanie. She had called, texted and emailed but still there was no response from her. It was beginning to look like she'd never see her twin sister again which was a terrible thought in itself. Sam shook her head and kept walking, trying not to assume the worst.

She loved Melanie though and she probably always will love her. If anything happened to her... Sam shuddered at the thought.

"Where are you, Mel? I miss you so much." Sam whispers, as she sits on a bench overlooking a park with a pond.

Was it her own fault? Had she scared Mel away with the proposal? Not that it was a "proper" one or anything. Sam just said it in the heat of the moment, sort of.

"I would wish for you... every morning, of every day... just to be able to do this..." Sam whispered against the girl's neck and nibbled her ear. "I wish to marry you one day."

"Marry me!" Mel shouted, and stepped back. "As in... M-marry, marry? That marry?"

The reaction was... unexpected and perhaps a little bit... underwhelming. But then again, I'm sure Melanie wasn't quite expecting Sam to "pop-the-question" just like that. It did come out of nowhere. Kind of like their relationship... it just pretty much came out of nowhere. It evolved from sex... to love... which could be considered backwards to some people.

Not to Sam though. Melanie was her everything now. And yes, it sounded very un-like her to be thinking such sappy, romantic thoughts. But she couldn't help it.

The exhaustion of her nightly search overwhelmed her all too suddenly. As the girl sat on the bench, in the park, waiting for her twin sister to come back from wherever she had been for the past twenty-one hours or whatever it was, her eyes closed slowly and Sam drifted off into sleep.

Melanie walked through the same park she did on the way to Marcia's meeting point the previous night. She shuddered and pushed aside her thoughts for now. She kept on walking until she came to a bench and noticed a blonde haired person draped across it, fast asleep.

It was Sam!

She must have been searching for me, thought Mel. Searching. For. Her. Guilt wrenched inside her stomach. She made her twin sister stay up all night, searching in the darkness, alone, just for her. It wasn't fair at all. So, the girl decided to bring her back home, where she was meant to be, and where Melanie wanted to stay forever.

It wasn't long before they were home and Mel had placed her sister on top of their bed.

Sam woke up, kind of surprised at first to be in a bed. No, wait. It was her own bed, and Melanie was laying beside her, smiling as she usually did. She did a double-take and hugged the girl tightly.

"Melanie! Oh my God! I was so worried about you!"

"You were?" Melanie replied, feeling guilt wash over her completely. "I'm sorry. I went for a walk to think and I guess I forgot about the time..."

"I don't care if you stayed in a brothel all night... I'm just happy you came back home to me."

A brothel, thought Mel, nervously. It could have been a brothel. Except there was just me and Marcia.

The girl kisses her twin passionately, who responds in kind. Although she was very glad to make her twin happy, Melanie felt a pang of guilt twisting her heart a little. There was no way that she could ever know the truth, it would completely kill her happiness, thought Mel. Only one thing came to mind.

"Yes." Melanie said, softly.

"What?" Sam replied.

"Yes, I will marry you."
