Sorry for the very long wait, but work has been keeping me busy. On a lighter note, more chapters will come at a regular to slow pace. As always, I don't own Harry Potter.
Before the girl could say anything, a voice called over to the two children, causing the two to jump, startled.
"Luna, dear! Where are you?"
Turning to look for the source of the voice, Harry was greeted by an older male with blonde hair, who he quickly assumed to be Luna's father.
"Who's this?" asked the man.
Harry shyly said, "My name's Harry Potter."
At once, Luna gasped as her father's eyes widened in surprise.
"Well, I'll be. It's not every day you meet the Boy-Who-Lived."
Bewildered, Harry looked at the man in confusion.
Noting Harry's gaze, he sighed and said, "I thought so. As I'm sure you already know, I am Luna's father, Mr. Lovegood. Harry, what do you know about the night your parents died?"
Harry looked at Mr. Lovegood for a brief moment before opening his mouth. However, before he could say anything, Dudley ran over, yelling.
"Freak, didn't Mum say not to talk to strangers!."
Harry sighed and turned to walk away. Before he could follow his cousin back home, he felt a hand leave a note in his.
Curious, Harry looked at Mr. Lovegood, who held a finger to his lips, smirking slightly.
Harry quickly hid the note as Luna and her father left.
After arriving home and getting scolded by his Aunt Petunia, Harry was finally able to read the note Mr. Lovegood had given him.
We'll be at the park in 3 days time. Don't be late.
With a smile on his face, Harry drifted off to sleep.
Hopefully this makes up for the long absence.
