"I don't want you to go." Emma mummered against his chest as she cuddled into him. Even if they spent the week now and then fucking anothers brains out, they could just lie like this, happy to just be together lying in bed.
The best part to Sean was waking up to her, and forcing him to watch her chick flick movies while he was forced to stay with her at Snakes. Emma had moved out from Manny and Jay's, and so staying with Snake until she found her own place.
Sean laid shirtless, only in boxers as he had his strong arm around her body that was pressed to his. He swallowed hard and admitted, "I've been looking at some... places."
He felt Emma's head raise and turned his head to look at her. "Like...apartments?" she asked, eyes widening hopefully.
He grinned slowly, nodding. She smiled, and he reached out to hold her chin as he leaned up and kissed her. He then pulled away, and looked more serious, and her smile faded.
"What?"
"If I move back, I want to move into our own place together."
Emma's heart jumped for joy. Did he think she wouldn't actually say yes to that or something!?
"Can we get a pet?" she gasped, "A cat!?"
"One thing at a time." he teased.
She put her chin on his chest and smirked playfully, "A fish?"
He rolled his eyes, pretending to be annoyed, "Fine, you can have a fish...but he better not keep us up all night."
She smiled back at him happily. "I was wondering why you packed so much for the week."
"My life is my truck. It's still less than what you packed when you came down to Wasaga for a few weeks." he taunted and she laughed.
((((((((((************)))))))))
"I can't believe he's moving here!" Manny squeeled two weeks later at the Dot with Emma.
Emma stared wide eyed at her, "I can't believe you're fat already."
Manny already had a bump, and she was glowing! Pregnancy was making her beautiful!
"I'm pleasently plumped!" Manny declared raising her nose and offended by that comment.
Emma giggled and then blushed, "I can't belive he's moving back either.."
"...all for you!" smirked Manny, in lala land for her own friends happiness.
Next stop? Marriage!
"What's going on in that crazy twisted head of yours?" Emma had to ask, tilting her head strangely at Manny who shrugged innocently.
((((((((((((********))))))
"You've always been her love puppy." taunted Jay to Sean, helping him pack his last stuff up in the trailer back in Wasaga. His bed, his furniture.
Sean glared at him but tried not to smirk. It was true, Emma had him ball and chain.
"I brought you boys some orange juice!" Linda happily announced, carrying a tray with the drinks on it. She whispered like a secret when Jay took his, "I put some vodka in."
Jay just cheered her and took a gulp. This moving was hell. Sean had so much shit! "Emma is really going to want you moving in your car models into the new apartment?" Jay asked, glancing at the toy cars in Sean's box.
"Oh he use to build those with her father!" Linda explained.
"Mom." hissed Sean, rather embarrassed and went over, taping it shut so they stopped bothering him and peaking into his things. "Emma doesn't care what I bring, long as we're living together."
Linda leaned on the wall, crossing her arms happily. "I'm going to miss you." she told Sean, "But you belong with that girl, Sean."
"She's right." Jay sighed, as if defeated, "That girl had you in her grasp before I even met you."
Sean joked to Jay as he lifted the last box, "Aw man, maybe if I met you sooner I'd be moving in with you today. But you're right, she won me fair and square."
Jay mumbled jealously, "you'll still call though, right?"
Sean shook his head, silently laughing and led Jay to his truck to pack more boxes up into his back seat.
"I'm happy you're moving back man. You belong with us." Jay told him.
Sean nodded, "It feels right. Weather it's Degrassi or Wasaga, whenever Emma is I just want to be with her.."
"Stop being such a sap and just get it over with." Jay taunted, raising an eyebrow.
"Get what over with?" Sean asked, blinking.
Jay snickered, "Put a ring on it dude, before you lose her again." he patted Sean's chest before he left and walked to his own car, "Later Mrs Cameron!" he waved to Linda at the front of her trailer. She waved goodbye back
Sean snapped out of it, staring where Jay had left. It was his dream to get Emma to marry him, but since of bad history, he was almost scared to death by asking her again. What if she said no? What if he ruined a good thing again?
The drive was a bitch with that on his mind. He wanted Emma, forever, and Jay was right he had to make it official or he'd risk a chance at losing her again...
His heart pounded so hard he swore he could hear it and feel it against his chest. He was going to do it. He was going to ask Emma to marry him.
(((((*****))))))
"Are you happy?" Sean asked Emma.
She was exhausted! Her friends and family had helped them all in. The apartment was gorgeous, and Sean had helped her paint it a beautiful light grey.
She stood in their tv room, and looked around, looking a little glum. She blinked and looked at him, noticing her frowning like that and his eyes bared some hurt.
"Sean," she said, "Course I am." she walked over, resting her hands on his bare smooth chest. He had some paint splashed on his jeans and slightly over her body, as she did on her white tank top and jeans.
"Then why am I sensing you're not?"
She bit her lip, but he still held her up against him, sharing the nice feel of her and of him. She looked down and sadly admitted, "I feel we made one big mistake."
Sean blinked and tried to shake his head. What-what could of been this mistake? "Tell me." he demanded.
She looked up, a bit shocked, and didn't mean to make him angry. "I just meant, I mean. . .is this where you want to be?"
"Emma!" he barked, letting her go as she backed up.
She got to the point and threw her arms out, "I feel we should of moved to Wasaga, okay?!"
He blinked. That...that was it? That was the big mistake? He smiled and closed his eyes as he rubbed them. "Jesus Emma, I thought you meant something between us."
She mumbled, looking down. "Sorry." he grabbed her hands though and pulled her back in.
"You want to move to Wasaga?" he asked, a little shocked but a little happy. His little town must of made a mark on her.
Emma bit her lip and wished she could lean back on the wall, but it was still freshly painted. They couldn't even sit, for there was paintbrushes and newspaper on the ground too.
"I feel, if we, one day, have .. .. "
Sean tilted his head, wondering if she was ever going to spit it out.
"...kids. I wouldn't want to raise them here." she admitted with an innocent shrug but guilty face. She didn't want to freak him out by telling him she pictured a family with him, one day.
He grinned, dimples carving into his cheeks. She was picturing kids with him. He could feel his heart pounding out of his chest.
"SEAN!" she squeeled, getting pushed back against the wet wall. "the paint!" she laughed out loud but let him kiss her hard up against the wall, paint going all over her and him.
He picked her up and carried her carefully down to the floor, resting her on it on her back and she kept her legs wrapped around him.
"Was it something I said?" she teased, and he ripped her tank top off. SHe gasped, lifting her hips when he gripped her shorts and thong at the same time, ripping them off of her too.
She laid there, naked under him, and him just in his jeans. They kissed passionately, and she ripped at his jeans as they pulled apart panting.
"I want everything with you too Em." he whispered, both their eyes closed and his hands roaming down her body. "The house, the kids, the-" he was shut up by her deep kiss, and he kissed back, pinning her thighs apart and thrusted up into her. She happily kept them spread, and he made passionate love to her.
(((**))
. He pushed her hair back around her ears. "I love you, Em."
"I love you, too." She looked up and stole a kiss from his lips that he sighed surrendering into. Nuzzling back into Sean's chest she smiled and closed her eyes. They laid in their new bed, having get to sleep in it for the first time.
Something was theirs.
And little known to them, something in Emma's stomach now from tonights event, was soon to be both theirs to share too.
((**))
"Wake up, Em.." he teased, kissing her head and she mummered the next morning, "There's a present in the kitchen for you."
"Sean," she said while playfully looking up at him, "I'd rather catch up on sleep than eat right now. Somebody tired me out yesterday."
He laughed and got up, putting on his jeans again, "It's not that." he walked out, without telling her anymore.
She frowned, and tilted her head. What ever could it friggen be! ?
She put their bed sheet around her chest and got up, going to the kitchen. He leaned on the counter, but something sat beside him on the table. A glass fish bowl filled with water and with diamonds on the bottom and fish furniture-
"A fish!" she gasped happily and he moved out of the way for her to bend and look for the fish, "where is it?" she asked, giggling a bit and felt his strong arms pull her into his body from behind before his hand reached out and went into the bowl. "Sean, you'll kill it!"
He chuckled against the back of her neck, kissing it sweetly and she watched his fingers grab something in the bowl. Not a fish.
..a ring.
Her eyes grew large. The diamond ring with the pearls on the side. His grandma's ring. Her ring.
"Sean," she couldn't even turn her head, she just stared at the ring he held infront of her face, waiting for her to say something
He huskily whispered in her ear, "Emma Nelson, you're the girl I loved since I was just a kid, and now a man, I couldn't fall anymore in love with you. You own every part of me. We've been through hell and back together, through life and death... so marry me. Be my wife. Because no other girl compares to you. I love you, your family, your friends, and I love the way you make me a better man." he finished by turning her toward him.
Her mouth was hanging, her eyes stunned. He grinned with his famous dimples before raising her hand and slid the ring on her finger slowly, eyeing her for any objections but she was speechless.
"Emma, you kinda have to give me an answer."
She began to scare him, his heart was racing.
"Y-yes." she blinked and shook her head, "Ofcourse you ..dummy!" she slapped his chest, "Why couldn't you give me some warning!"
"Doesn't work that way." he teased, watching her tears swell in her eyes. "You like it?" he looked down at it.
"It's the same ring you were going to do it with before.." she said, so happy about that. It was beautiful. It felt like hers. She had no idea he was going to propose anytime soon.
"Ofcourse it is. It's yours, baby." he kissed her softly and she kissed him deeply.
She, Emma Nelson, was going to be Mrs Emma Cameron.
"I have to tell MANNY!" Emma yelped, pulling away and went to turn for Sean to grab her and lift her bride like (so ironic).
"Nooo way Miss Cameron.. tonight is ours only. I did just move all the way over here for you."
She giggled, and he growled when she began to kiss around his neck when he carried her back to bed.
"We'll move back to Wasaga though...right?"
She looked up at him before he laid her back in his bed, his eyebrows raised with some thoughts in his head.
"You know, it doesn't sound like a bad idea. Maybe Jay would wanna open shop with me there."
"Manny loves the beach!" Emma insisted. She yelped and laughed when he dropped her on the bed then climbed over her. "Linda will be happy."
"Lets not talk about my mom right now." he lifted an eyebrow at her warningly, his hands slowly tugging the sheet off of her, his eyes growing hungry.
Emma gasped and closed her eyes, feeling his kisses go down her neck, to her breasts, and when he hit around her lower stomach, she moaned but tried to focus on wedding plans. "We can marry here, since everyones here, and we paid few months rent here- OH!" she arched, feeling his mouth on her core, "SEAN!"
Guess they had time for this later.
Wow. Engaged to her ex, her first love, her first everything. Emma couldn't be more happy.
THE END.
