Oh my goodness 4 years has gone by and... well here I am! Trying to finish everything! I am 19 now so here's to hoping the maturity and lack of constant eye rolling will help me make it through this story without anymore delays. I did like this one too...

Here we go~

Link struggled a good most of the day. By the time the sun had started to set, the hero had found a way to control his left arm and his right pinkie, but most was still lost to him. It took a lot to concentrate too, he wasn't sure how he was supposed to do this, never before had he fought a spirit for his body. What didn't help was that Dark was constantly doing something he shouldn't.

The next day, he started the day by breaking the pots in the Great Hall resulting in scolding from Impa. Dark remained bored through the yelling while Link was inside his mind screaming his apologies.

Once that was done, Zelda had requested Link to the gardens and Dark complied much to Link's dismay.

"So apparently there's an issue on Death Mountain and Darunia needs us right away." Zelda started after a long sip of her tea.

"He's a rock. What kind of problem do rocks have? Which position they will sit in today?" Dark scoffed.

Zelda stiffened in her seat. "No... there's been some attacks from the caverns and I was hoping you'd go investigate for me?"

'Just say yes! I'll do anything you want just don't mess things up for her!' Link yelled in his head.

Dark smirked. "Alright. I'll go. I could pay Darunia a visit after all."

'What are you thinking?' Link questioned.

Dark suddenly grabbed the right hand of the queen and kissed her hand. "Thank you for the tea. I should be leaving."

'She's not dumb. She's going to figure it out.'

Dark waited until he was alone to reply. He closed the door and looked out the mirror to the queen. "I am counting on it."

Dark got to the stables. In Link's body, he could go anywhere he pleased. No one wanted to tell their hero 'no' so he was free to do whatever he wished.

The man walked to Epona and smirked. "This must be the infamous Epona." Dark went to rest his hand on her but Epona bucked and jerked away from him neighing loudly.

'Good girl Epona! Don't let him fool you!'

"Silence pest." Dark hissed softly before trying again. "Here... Epona. I have a nice... carrot for you." Dark promised holding his hand out.

'She's not dumb.'

"Fine. I guess we're walking then hmm?" Dark sighed in frustration. "If I had my magic this would be a hell of a lot easier."

'You, have magic?'

"Oh that's right. You don't have magic. It was all given to me. See, Zelda and Ganondorf have magic from their triforces, but not you. Ever wondered why? Simple. You would be corrupted like Ganondorf, all this power with no limitations, it's intoxicating. So when they made you they created me to make you perfect, I am everything. Your desires, your dark thoughts, your anger and hate, and I have the magic. Sucks right?"

'The Goddesses have their reasons for everything.' Link replied. He wasn't upset he didn't have magic. If what Dark said was true, he didn't want to be corrupted beyond repair like Ganondorf.

"See? So pure. Anyone would be mad. Not you though?" Dark chuckled finally out of Hyrule Castle Town. "Oh. Over here." He turned to the left at the bridge not really knowing where anything was. He only knew the water temple but that knowledge was useless.

'You said you can read my mind because you're so much more powerful than me, so then can you see my memories too?'

"Oh yes hero. I see everything." Dark growled with a smirk. "And soon, you'll see into my head."

'I don't want to see into your head. I don't want anything to do with you or your head!'

"Oh please. You know you love it." Dark chuckled. He made it to Kakariko and easily navigated up the mountain where Darunia was waiting at the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern.

"Ah! Link you have come! Not a moment too late I must say!"

"You seem awfully happy for someone complaining about monsters." Dark noted.

"Yeah well, you see we tracked down a few things in here. None of us are sure what they are!"

"Describe them please." Dark blurted unknowingly. Crap... Link was getting stronger and he was fighting hard enough to speak again...

Dark could literally feel Link's spirit do a back flip in excitement.

"Well, they're dark portals and they have been spawning baby Dodongos like crazy."

"I see. Well try throwing a bomb in there, that should disrupt the portal and such." Dark shrugged.

'Wow.' Dark thought. 'They needed you for that? That's pathetic.'

'Shut up they just need someone to guide them.' Link retorted.

"We shall try that! My brothers will be happy if this works!"

"Great. Well, bye." Dark turned only to be stopped.

"No wait brother! It wouldn't feel right to send you off without a proper goodbye! Come here brother!"

"No. Seriously. Not happening. I have to go."

"Just one! Come on brother!"

"No!" Dark yelled. "I don't want to be crushed by the hug of death and I am not going to stand here and argue! I have shit I have to do and all you're doing is holding me back! I am leaving understand?"

Darunia stood agape. "I... I didn't know you thought this Link... I'm sorry..." Darunia stepped back.

'Dark you can't do that! You can't do that to these people! They're my friends!'

"Not anymore. I am playing the part and I am already unfolding a plan of how to overthrow Hyrule."

'What? No monologue?'

"No, why would I do that? I want to leave it all as a surprise."

'How great. I love surprises.' His voice was dripping with sarcasm. They made it back down the mountain, Dark looking at all of his surroundings. This small village would be one of the first to go.

"Hero! Hero please help! My cuccos-"

"Don't care." Dark replied trying to come up with a plan in his head.

"But hero-"

"I said no." Dark growled lowly, the woman cowering back slightly.

"I-I'm sorry..."

Dark left the village. Unknown to him, the Sheikah Impa was watching from a safe distance. She believed Zelda when she saw the broken pots earlier that morning, something was wrong with Link. He just wasn't right. Usually he would help all he could but now he almost seemed like Ganondorf... everyone was peasants to him and he was above them...

Oh, the queen would need to hear about this immediately.
