"Can I see Harry?" Hermione asked the healer as she worked her wand over her body. "No." the stone faced women told her.

Hermione's face squashed in anger "Is he here?" she pressed.

"Yes."

"Then why can't I go see him!" she exploded, smacking the witch's hand away from her. Her wand skidded across the hard tile floor. She was causing a scene. Every head in the room, of which there was ten, turned to her. The stone faced healer went to recover her wand. "He is in recovery." she said.

"Recovery!" Hermione yelled. All around her the air cracked and the legs of her sick bed bent as if made of plastic. It was only for an instant but she felt as if she had ran several miles, her head was pounding.

"Careful child." Hermione was forcefully pushed to her pillow. "You've taken too much abuse. You never fully recovered from the war and now this. Your magic is out of order. No telling when it will be in line again."

"Out of line?" Hermione asked "I never heard of such a thing."

"Not many people have. It's a ridiculously understudied area. Not many people are stupid enough to get into a different battle every week, so i guess it's understandable really."

Hermione ignored the slight "When will it be normal again."

"Hard to say, it's generally accepted that it's caused by your body doing everything in can to protect you. Which causes it to treat every little bit of stimuli as a threat. The most logical answer would be whenever you're body, that is to say the magical part of you, doesn't sense that you're in danger. Until then you can expect more of that to happen."

Great, for some reason she didn't see that happening anytime soon. Sleep found her easier than she thought it would. She dreamt of a petite woman was black hair standing naked in a field filled with roses. Small cuts crisscrossed her breast and legs. She was bent over cupping something in her hands. Hermione called out to her but the naked woman paid her no mind. She took small steps toward her but as she got closer the dream disappeared.

She woke up hours later to an empty room, if she dreamt other dreams she did not remember them.

The hall outside ened in two path. A sign was hung that read Lobby to the right and Recovery to the left.

She turnt left.

"Miss?" Hermione turned around shocked. A stern faced witch in white clocks was watching her. "Hi, I was just looking for the umm lobby." Hermione cringed at the horrible lie. The healer pointed her arm in the direction, her face darering hermione to think her way out of this. Hermione didn't bother to walk to the lobby but instead disappeared from there. Which was something not everyone could do but Kingsley had given her permission to bypass the wards.

The rest of the day was spent in her room lying in bed. She woke up in the middle of the night. Out the window it was pitch black not a single star was in the air. Tired, she reached for her phone and called Alice. Three rings and no one picked up. Hermione sighed and flopped back down.

She awoke hours later, the morning sun sending ray of light across the room. Her phone rang. Alice.

"Hello." Hermione said seductively.

"Hey."

"What's wrong."

"The wolves want you to go down to the rez. Well "want" is a bad way to put it. They demand you go, sorry."

"What why?" Hermione asked as she got dressed.

"Because they're fucking assholes." Alice hissed. "They just want to talk. Or so they say."

"Oh that can't be so bad right?"

"I don't know. We're not allowed to come with you." She was about to ask why but Alice spoke up. "Its part of the truce. No matter what happens Carlisle isn't going to do anything that breaks it."

Hermione expected as much. Carlisle was a practical man, she didn't see him risking his whole family for wizards and a witch who have already brought enough harm to them. Hermione made her way downstair. The boys were already sitting around. "I guess we have no choice then. We'll head over there now. Okay bye."

"What don't we have a choice in?" Neville asked.

"We have to go down to the rez."

"For?"

"Apparently they want to talk to talk to us themselves."

"They're going to try to kill us." George said. For a moment wolf teeth flashed before her eyes.

"Alice seems to think so." Hermione said truthfully "But the four of should be able to stop them if they try anything. And I think it's worth a shot to at least go if it could help put everything back to normal."

"Alright let's get this over with."
