Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Psychic Nightmare the 3700-word chapter. I do not own X-Men, Disney, Marvel, and a few others do.
Rachal hummed and looked over to the side, too interested for now, knowing what the next maneuver was, she looked up from her book, feet crossed and spread out comfortably for trying to read said book. She was too interested in it to notice what was going on and how well she was going to be involved in things.
Next to her sat Zainn who had come to hang out and on account of the young mutant who had no idea where everything in the house sat.
He looked up from his novel as the two young mutants spoke for what seemed to be the first time since they had been up.
"How do you find your way around here if there is so much to bump into?" Zainn questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"That isn't the question, is it?" Zainn heard as he hummed.
He hummed at the girl who wore a red tank top and a pair of jeans. This girl was supposed to be from a terrible future for some reason and yet she dressed like she was from the same day as him.
"No, but I guess asking you how you're from the future is too forward," Zainn questioned. "Professor acts like you are a walking nuclear bomb level powerful and I would believe it. you went toe to toe with a guy whom Professor Xavier said can control metal… I do not want to even think of how badly he could have leveled the city." Zainn stated.
"It's a very long and… Painful story," Rachal said.
"So painful even sharing it to feel better isn't an option?" Zainn asked to which there was a nod. "Fair enough… So, here is a question. if your parents have different powers? Does that have any effect on how the… X-Gene Professor McCoy spoke about?" Zainn questioned.
"No. My powers supposedly come from my mother but they are more potent… That is a long story." Rachal said, uncrossing her legs.
"Sounds like you have been through a lot for a girl the same age as me. That is impressive though, most stuff I have seen that involves the future… I guess movies are not all like that." Zainn stated.
"Terminator is very close to how the future is where I come from," Rachal said as Zainn blinked.
"Oh… So, a VERY bad future where there are a lot of dead people… Now I feel like a jackass, Ray." Zainn stated.
"You cannot know what I have been through so it is not your fault. I just do not want to talk about it openly. There is still going to be a LOT to discuss when you deal with the future." Rachal pointed out.
"Can we prevent the future you talked about? Giant robots are one thing but them running around and destroying everything." Zainn stated.
"You cannot change the future without changing the present… I think." Zainn heard from Rachal.
Zainn frowned but said nothing, knowing that it made sense compared to what has happened, for now, the madness which seemed to be too interested in what was going on.
She was too interested in something that she seemed to be too willing to try and figure out something as she seemed ready to move on.
"You, ok?" Zainn heard before Rachal seemed to be too ready for something to deal with. "You will be, ok?" Rachal stated before she looked to the ground.
She seemed to be willing to relax but it seemed to be building to something not even he could understand.
Perhaps that was good but perhaps it was also terrible to try and deal with for now. She was too thrown off, for now, she would be too interested in.
She seemed to be prepared for something, she moved and sat down, crossing her legs under her.
"You know they are not going to be easy on you just because you are a kid, right? We are training mutants… Not kids." Rachal said, tapping on her knees.
"If I came here for them to play softball? I would not have asked." Zainn said. "I want to try the Danger Room… When I am done with training. Not as some giant goal to win… But so, I can relax." Zainn stated for now what needed to be done.
Rachal stayed silent, too interested for now.
"Relax?" Rachal asked with amusement.
"So, I can… See if I am ready. That place is a lot more dangerous than that, isn't it?" Zainn asked.
"It's not a vacation room, you know," Rachal stated.
"I do not want it to be this way, you know… But there is something to be done… And too much will go further and further… I like this place, I like the people here, and not just so I can do whatever I want." Zainn stated.
Rachal paused to think as she seemed to look downward to the side, she could guess that Zainn was not lying, she was trying to be as nice as possible… Something about it all seemed to be too much for now, yet.
She would not be willing to let it all go to the end of the mind… There was something now.
She would be too willing to see it all go to the boss; she was too interested in now. She would be willing to see it go to the wolves when all was said and done, the chaos on his mind before she seemed to relax.
Such a thing was too much to have been dealing with it for now, she had been letting it all come to an end sooner or later and she had been ready to scream with each little passing second of each little passing day.
The chaos in which she thrived would see it all end in the fire for now and for good reason.
Even then? It felt like it was too thrown off, for now, to have meant something. He was confused and twisted in the ways only he could uphold, perhaps it was harsh to think that given the idea they did not exist well enough.
Rachal tapped on her legs, cold and thrown off as she thought of her best move. Even against the best soldiers? There was too much to have been willing to deal with it now, even though he was not stupid enough to have been dealt with for now, there was just too much to have been dealt with.
Even he was not stupid enough to throw away what little chaos they could have been too interested in now.
"You of all people should know that what we do for a living is not easy, it will never be easy because if it was? We would be experiencing something we cannot do." Rachal stated.
"Is life ever easy?" Zainn questioned to which he got no reply.
She would not be able to relax, she would not be able to think. There was a lot of chaos on her mind and she seemed to think of it for now.
There was a lot more to try and deal with, something which Zainn looked at. Rachal slowly used her powers to make her books float over to her, she did not even know what was going on.
"No, but being a mutant is something you must live through again and again. There was a lot more to deal with… Even then? We must keep growing through life with our heads held high or else we might just fall short." Rachal stated.
"So dramatic," Zainn stated before Rachal laid back to start reading the book. "So, your brain lets you use your mind more and more? So, if I had a better brain, I would be able to do that?" Zainn asked before he paused, too interested in what was going on.
"Nope," Rachal stated before Zainn paused to look to the side. "This will all be too much to try and figure out something before it came down to it," Zainn stated.
He felt silent, too distracted enough to have been ready to think…Even then? He could act according to his way; he could not have allowed it to have been dealt with for now.
There was more on his mind as he chuckled, Rachal kicked him in the side of the head, she had been too interested in what needed to be dealt with for now.
There was nothing more on the mind, there were a lot of things which needed to be thrown to the side… This appeared to be a lot of things that continued to mesh for now.
She could not be too interested in what was going on as it came down to it… Even then? There were a lot of things, something which needed to be beaten for now.
Even then? Their chaos would not be thrown to the side… Even then before she paused to click her fingers against the wall.
She sighed and then she looked to the side. She clicked her fingers against the wall before she hummed.
"You are tired?" Rachal asked before she paused to think. "You do know you are going to be training up and down," Rachal stated.
"You make it sound SO inviting, Rachal," Zainn said, looking up at the ceiling and then looked the side. "There were a LOT of things I have not dealt with for now. Training? Training is going to be dealt with when it comes down to it." Zainn stated before he sighed.
Zainn watched Rachal lean back to look up at the ceiling. She had not been too unable to process it for now, she had looked around like a hound who had not been able to play for a few seconds.
"Rachal? What is it like being an X-Men?" Zainn asked. "Going out there, fighting evil day in and out?" Zainn stated before blinking.
"It is not as cool as you see in the comic books, Zainn. People get hurt bad sometimes and they do not get back up." Rachal stated before she sighed.
She had been too interested in what to try and deal with something at the end of the day. She clicked her fingers.
"I don't think like that, Rach," Zainn stated before he hummed. "There are a lot of things I think about. This? This is not one of them. I ain't going to be a goofball on the battlefield." Zainn stated.
"Good," Rachal stated before she sighed.
"Did the professors find out anything about the rest of the powers I have or something?" Zainn stated that she seemed to be interested in it before.
She had been too interested in what he had been. He had been chaotic for now and then looked for now as she cracked her fingers and then looked to the side.
Zainn paused to think of it for now. Rachal kicked her feet up in the air, almost falling upwards and over the edge of the bed, unsure of herself.
"There is still testing on your powers and Beast is thinking of whatever is going on as he tried to think," Rachal stated before she sighed. "This is not something I think about for now. I have a LOT more to deal with for now." Rachal stated.
Zainn paused, thinking of the next maneuver, for the time being, she had been unfamiliar as of now, and then looked to the side. She cracked her fingers at him, she had been too thrown off around him.
He had been too distracted, too interested in his work, he had been unfamiliar with such a logic like this. She clicked her fingers against one another and then looked to the side.
She had been too unwilling to deal with it. She had nothing left to have been prepared for now at the end of this day and all such days when it came down to it for the moment.
Zainn had zero clue what she had wanted and she was going to keep surprising him again and again with every little nugget of pain and suffering going on.
He had a lot more on his mind than this, a desire to do better than he had before… Even then? He could not be allowed to have done something for now… For there was no end to the chaos spread using this.
Then again? He had been unable to do much for now… He had been unable to do much more than relax before she seemed.
To entirely be fair? He looked at her with shock and some amusement. This girl was probably one of the most staggeringly powerful mutants in the world and she acted like she was a teenager he had met in school once.
Perhaps it was faith or perhaps he had been too interested in something he could not grasp. Some small part of him made comfort with how amusing it had been.
"So, stupid question… But how much have you tried to lift with your powers? There is no limit on how much you have lifted with your telekinesis?" Zainn asked.
He knew more and more it sounded ridiculous with each passing moment. She poked him with her elbow then kicked him with her foot, almost amused more than anything else.
He had been too unable to respond after this but it had been too chaotic enough for him to have been done.
"Tired?" Rachal asked to which Zainn nodded before she spoke. "And I am not entirely sure," Rachal stated before she seemed to be too interested.
He had been too interested in what was going on as Zainn paused, thinking to the side, too interested in what was going on as she clicked her fingers against one another.
She had been too unfamiliar in the ways which had been too ready in before now.
"You do not know what your powers are? You do not know what sort of things are going on?" Zainn asked to which she rolled her eyes at him.
There was but a second of amusement for now. It had been something that had been too interested in what would need to have been happening next. She was too thrown off, too interested in what would come next.
Zainn had been too amused more and more fascinated with each little passing moment, making him sigh to himself as he clicked his fingers.
There was chaos in his tone which he had not yet thought of for now. He looked to the side as she paused.
"I do… But I ain't telling you." Rachal stated before she sighed.
Zainn hummed and slowly sat up, guessing what would be coming next for the time being. She knew more and more such things were going to be chaotic enough to have been nightmarish, to begin with… To be fair? He knew more and more with each passing moment what was going on, each little moment caused more chaos on the horizon.
It would need to be something better, something about it all was dragging him into the end of the day, it was not going to be easy.
The two slowly sat up and left his room, Rachal turning his door closed. It swung shut a few seconds later as they slowly started to walk away. He sighed and looked at her with amusement.
"Always going to make me jealous?" Zainn stated with a wry smile on his face. "Because I am starting to think you are going to be the coolest out of the group," Zainn stated before he sighed and then looked to the side.
He had not been able to try and deal with it for now as she paused to think of whatever was going on before long… Too much to try and deal with.
But to Zainn? He was amused, he was thrown off for now as he looked to the ground and followed the footsteps of the girl who slowly marched towards him.
She had not been able to think of what the next move would be… She had not been unable to try and deal with it for now as she clicked her fingers on the ground. She had not understood what was going on before she sighed to herself.
Rachal seemed to be entirely thrown off, she had known many mutants which had been too chaotic for now and she had been too unfamiliar with what was going on.
They passed down the stairs, passing a few people which made Zainn turn to look over to her as she paused to think of what was going on.
"So, mutants are common? We are an entire group of people like a species like aliens or such?" Zainn asked. "I do not mean that to be rude… I mean, the X-Gene is common enough to make a species of mutants all over the world?" Zainn asked.
Rachal paused to think about that line for but a moment. She knew Zainn was not talking to mutants as a plague and she knew he was trying to be nice so there was little room for her to believe he was to relax.
Perhaps the idea of it had clogged his brain and he had no real damn idea of what was to come… It did not and would not surprise him at all for now.
Still? She had not been able to not find humor in the idea that he saw things like a comic book… Considering he still seemed to want to help others and he was serious enough on the field.
She and he passed downstairs so she could think. She had no idea about what needed to be done at the end of the day, they would have done something to have fixed it and they would have far more mutants to deal with in the group.
Zainn looked at her with an interest that was not easily beaten into the ground. It was chaos that he had not been able to use for now and until the end of the day when all of it came down to it.
Zainn hummed and then looked to the side, too interested in this sort of thing that would be done for now. He had not been able to relax, he was too tired and too interested for now.
There was a lot more to see and do at the end of the day. It was too much for him, too much to be expected to have to do next… He had not a lot more to see and do next.
Still? He had not the ability to think as they walked toward the other side of the room… He had not been too unable to deal with it for now.
There was a lot more to try and deal with it for now… There were a lot more options as they sat down next to be interested.
"You should know for a fact that the longer we must wait and do next… All of it seemed to be a waste of time." He stated.
He had been amused for now, looking to the side, too interested in what was going on before long, thinking for but a moment as Rachal kicked her feet up… She had not the ability to deal with it.
She had not been willing to deal with it till now. She had a very large amount of mercy on the moment to have dealt with.
Perhaps it was going to be chaotic, she had been odd enough to be amused for now. She had thought of what the next mutant X-Men mission was to have been broken for now… Such a thing was amusement.
"You should know damn well for now what the next move is going to be," Rachal said.
"Maybe, but we're going to be thrown for a loop either way?" Rachal stated.
"I can tell you point blank for now… Or I can tell you later when it is important." Zainn heard.
He decided to not wait until later as he knew that the next move was to be dealt with for now… Chaos was something that he could have dealt with forever… Such was a part of life that made him want to chuckle.
He had not been able to think.
"I would like an answer either way… There is a lot more I do not know about being a mutant, all we know more and more is that being a mutant is tough and that a lot of people that have it." Zainn said.
"There is the fact that Mutants are hunted down. They do not like us; we are not welcome in the world like this. It will not stop; it will never stop at the end of the day because they do not want us to exist which means something that is going to be dealt with for now." Rachal stated.
She did not know what the next move was going on and it was going to be dealt with at the end of the day and seemed to try and deal with it for now as she paused.
Rachal seemed to be too tired for now, too interested in the next move made as she looked to the ground.
She hadn't been able to try and deal with it as she seemed to keep thinking about what had been dealt with for now.
She had been too interested period as she started to think, looking to the side, unsure of what she'd do.
Zainn paused and sat down next to her, interested in what he would continue to deal with.
Such a thing only confused Zainn as he sighed, too interested in whatever he would deal with next was going to be dealt with for now as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
He had been bored, really bored, and unable to cope with it for now as he sighed and looked to the side.
Rachal hummed as Zainn crossed his legs under him.
"Any other odd questions you want to talk about?" Rachal asked before Zainn hummed.
