Chapter 8: Unexpected Variables.

AN : And here's another chapter, folks!

Lelouch was typing on his computer. During his past lives, he had learned how to use these kinds of machines properly.

'Erase all the data?' The interface window asked.

Lelouch clicked 'yes'.

He chuckled. "Schneizy boy will have a little surprise tomorrow, when he'll discover that his nuclear project has been completely wiped out by an anonymous hacker."

Lelouch twisted a pen around his finger.

"And now, how about we play with the Chinese's missiles?"

The military bases of Kabul and Almaty were equipped with long-distance missiles. Each missile contained some pure liquid Sakuradite, so they were only there for a possible dissuasion force since their cost of production was extremely high. For now, these missiles were only prototypes.

The staff team received a message coming from the Forbidden City ordering them to make a secret test on the Federation's soil, in a desert at the North West of China. The technicians obeyed without protesting, they didn't want to be executed for treason or something like that.

Afghanistan and Kazakhstan each fired one missile, and the targets were the same.

The Geass Order.

V.V was on his seat, surrounded by his minions.

"It's calm." He said to no one in particular.

"Do you expect the appearance of one of C.C's contractor, master V.V?" A minion asked.

V.V sighed. "Maybe."

Another moment of silence.

"Last time we checked, she was in Area 11." Another minion said. "Maybe Clovis had captured her."

"Oh yeah?" V.V said with his annoying childish tone. The poor guy was a young kid when he gained his code, and now he was an old man stuck in this child's body. If he wasn't the Emperor's big brother who appeared to have immortality, no one would take him seriously. "Perhaps he had some hidden talents; he's one of Charles' children after all."

V.V could swear he had heard the ticking of a clock.

"So, what do we do?" Minion number three asked.

V.V shrugged. "I don't know. Who wants a cool Geass?"

But none of his minions had the time to answer as two gigantic explosions blew everyone.

Everyone? No, because an indomitable blonde midget still resisted to the enemy, thanks to a secret magic power that granted him immortality.

Well, the problem was that his clothes didn't have any immortality powers.

A naked little boy with long blond hair was standing on the edge of all these ruins and ashes.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Charles Zi Britannia was the man that stroke fear all over the World, to his minions, his enemies and even his children, but in fact he had a softer side that no one besides his 'big' brother V.V (whose real name was Vercingetorix, the royal family's fixation to antic names be damned) and his not-quite-dead wife Marianne knew about. The whole World was seeing him as a fearsome tyrant or a strong ruler, but in reality he was a philanthropist, ready to sacrifice himself and his family (especially his family) for the well-being of humanity. It was hard to believe, but Charles wanted nothing but peace for his children, harmony between the people all around the planet, and truly wished that everyone would understand each other. But for that, he needed to drop his son Lelouch and his daughter Nunnally to a warzone, and then let him have a superpower that would gain the opportunity to take revenge on the Britannian Empire who would create one of the most brutal World Wars in history.

'I'm sure Lelouch will understand.' Charles thought for himself.

Then someone contacted him with the Imperial channel. It was his son Schneizel, the Second Prince.

"Your Majesty." He said with a tone that betrayed some worry. "Someone has stolen information of one of our research centers in Dallas."

Charles quirked an eyebrow. "And what of it? What kind of information are such important for you to disrupt me?"

The Emperor knew that his son would want to overthrow him but he didn't care. Charles had Geass. If he wanted to he could turn Schneizel into a man persuaded to be a janitor in a preschool of Bogota.

"They were researching on a weapon of mass destruction, your Majesty." Schneizel admitted. "We have located the source of the attack and…"

"Where?" The Emperor asked. A single word was enough for him to make any one obey. It was becoming boring. At least he couldn't do this with his brother. 'It's odd, I haven't heard about him today.' He thought. 'Maybe he's hiding other things to me.'

"Finland." Schneizel said. "The cyber terrorist was operating from Finland."

"Then I declare war to Finland." The Emperor declared with a wave of hand, and cut the transmission.

Lelouch was on the student council meeting room, along with the dream team: Nina, with her black hair, Rivalz, with his blue hair, Milly with her blond hair and Shirley with her orange hair.

"GUTS!" He yelled, to get everyone's attention.

Milly looked at him oddly. "Hey, that was my line."

Lelouch nodded. "But we need to fix the budget for the equestrian club or else they'll be pissed … or something."

"Jeez, what's up to you today?" Rivalz asked, looking at his odd friend.

"So, Shirley has been filling out in the right places." Lelouch continued.

Said Shirley nearly fell from her chair from embarrassment.

"Milly likes girls who are supple and willing." He said, and the blonde President quirked an eyebrow.

"And muscular guys." Rivalz pointed out. "I have begun my intense training."

"That's good, young apprentice." Lelouch said. "And now, my dear comrades from the student council, the whole Academy entrusted us with the holy mission of balancing the budget."

Lelouch, along with his three friends from the same class, Rivalz, Shirley and Nina, were walking in direction of their classroom.

"You're weird." Rivalz said casually.

"Yeah." Shirley added. "You're weird. Have you been drinking?"

Lelouch shook his head. "I'm not weird; I just had a very strong sensation of déjà vu."

Then they entered the classroom.

Lelouch saw some of his classmates watching Television. Sophie winked at him, but he didn't pay any attention to her. He was focused on the TV.

"Let me see." He ordered to the group of schoolgirls, who obeyed with giggles.

Lelouch saw the images of member of the decontamination team in a Ghetto near Tokyo, probably the Shinjuku Ghetto.

"There had been an attack with poison gas." One of the schoolgirls explained.

"It's Shinjuku!" Another one squealed. "It's not far away from here."

Lelouch frowned. 'So, the Army still wiped out the Shinjuku Ghetto. That sucks.'

"And now, his highness Prince Clovis, third Prince of Britannia, will address the nation." The voice on the TV said.

Lelouch raised an eyebrow. 'Oh oh, I wonder what my retarded brother would say. He'll probably make a prefabricated speech about Justice and stuff like that.'

The face of the blonde Viceroy appeared on the screen.

Instantly, Lelouch noticed there was something wrong with his look. It was … unnatural.

"My loyal subjects." Clovis began. "The accident of yesterday had filled me with pain and sorrow."

"Wait, What?" Lelouch asked aloud.

"The Elevens have suffered for too long the negligence of our administration, leaving them no choice but terrorism to regain some dignity." Clovis continued, making fabulous gestures.

Lelouch blinked. "What?"

"If the Elevens don't have a masked messiah to help them, then I'll take his role."

Lelouch coughed hard. He hadn't been that surprised for a very very very long time.

'What the fuck is going on?'

AN : Dum dum dum :D
