Christy/Wade (Arabella - The Arctic Monkeys)
I do not ship them! They are and always will be brother and sister to me. Wade is just very protective of his sister :)
Wade Martin was not happy. Well, to be fair, he never really was, but this time around he was really not happy.
His sister giggled and leaned against her new boyfriend, Juri Karamazov. The jocks were dumb and thought they were better than everyone else. Christy deserved a lot better than that. He knew she was up to some shady things, but being out in public and clearly dating such an asshole was too much to handle.
Wade took every chance to mess with Juri he possibly could. He paid people to mess with the Russian boy before wrestling matches and football games if he couldn't be there to do it himself. It was like nothing mattered anymore except getting him out of Christy's life.
"Wade!" Christy whined one day once the two met up to walk home together. "Leave my boyfriend alone, you creep!"
"Why should I?" Wade grumbled.
"Because he's my boyfriend, you loser! Be happy for me or something, God!" Christy replied, crossing her arms over her chest.
"He's just gonna break your heart, sis. I'm trying to help you."
"Then let him! Jesus, Wade. You can't do this to every guy I want to date," Christy muttered. Wade gave her a side eyed glare.
"I can do whatever I want! You think anyone else is gonna look out for you?" Wade argued. Christy scoffed and shook her head.
"You sound like Dad."
Wade narrowed his eyes. "Take that back."
Christy didn't respond and instead turned around and walked back to the school. Wade paused and watched her walk away a bit before angrily storming off in the direction of home.
It wasn't until a few hours later when Christy slammed the front door open, bawling her eyes out that Wade calmed down enough to be able to face her. When he got into the living room, he found their father hugging Christy tightly. Despite the tension and discord in Wade and his father's relationship, when the two men locked eyes, there was a mutual understanding.
"He cheated on me!" Christy wailed, falling into her brother's arms. This was the perfect "I-told-you-so" moment, but instead, he just let his sister cry for a while, letting it out of her system.
The next morning, she seemed much better. Wade made sure to comment on it, happy his sister seemed to be happy after how upset she was last night.
"Oh, I'm fine now. I never really liked Juri. The guy I really like likes me back," she admitted with a genuinely happy smile. Wade resisted the urge to crush the milk carton in his hand.
"Who is it?" he asked, probably sounding more pissed off than intended.
Christy sighed in content before she replied. "Jimmy Hopkins."
A/N: I'm so sorry I vanished for a year without a word! A lot of crazy and messed up stuff happened this past year that kind of took away my passion for writing, but I am back for now and will definitely be updating this. In fact, I already have a few more written that I'm excited to upload! Thank you for being patient, and thank you for loving Bully! ^_^/
