"Haters will say 'Terrorist', the true ones will say 'Altruist'."
-Lelouch vi Britannia
"Oh come on!"
Lelouch stared at the sword that was aiming at his chest. He had been revived a minute before his first death, much to his annoyance.
The Demon Emperor grabbed the sword with his bare hands, to the surprise of Zero.
"Wait." Lelouch ordered. Then he raised the sword a little bit. "That's where the heart is."
Suzaku understood. His friend wanted a painless, instant death.
'If only it ended that day.' Lelouch thought, as Zero stabbed him in the heart.
Suzaku couldn't help but cry. It was over, Euphie's murderer was dead with his hands, but he felt no enjoyment, no relief. Just sorrow.
If only it was truly over.
Lelouch woke up in front of giant marble doors. In the two sides of these doors there were guards holding spikes. He recognized the uniforms of the Imperial Guard. The door opened, revealing to Lelouch the Imperial court.
'Funny.' Lelouch thought sarcastically. 'I left this place a minute ago. I guess there's really someone out there who decides where and when I respawn.' (AN: Technically, it is me, but it is not really me… Well, you get the idea)
"Announcing. Prince Lelouch vi Britannia, 17th heir to the Royal Britannian Imperial throne." One of the guards announced.
'So,' thought Lelouch as he advanced on the red carpet, 'I'm young again. Great. I don't have any libido, which means, if I take a code now I'll be like V.V, with raven hairs. That's not cool.'
"I heard Empress Marianne was killed inside of the Britannian Palace." One of the aristocrats whispered.
'So my mother just got killed by V.V' Lelouch thought as he continued his walked. 'That's why I'm here. What do I do? Do I kill myself? Or do I wait five long years until my meat and two veg? Ah, decisions, decisions…'
Lelouch arrived in front of the Imperial throne where his father was sitting. Two minutes ago they were at the same place and Lelouch had thrown a knife to his royal forehead.
"Hail, your Majesty." Lelouch said, feigning a tone of assurance and respect. 'But then again, I haven't met with Suzaku yet so he won't be that much of a dick. Okay then, I'll stay alive.' "My mother, the Empress is dead."
Charles stared at his son with a bit of disdain. "Old news, what of it?"
Lelouch didn't seem surprised at his father's reply, which shocked him a bit.
"Well…" Lelouch began. "My mother was the Knight of Two, which means that she was probably the strongest woman in all of the Empire. It questions me on the nature of my mother's murderer. On top of that, its instigator has succeeded in taking down one of your shields."
Charles stared at his son with interest. Lelouch was able to hide his emotions in front of him, which was a tremendous feat considering how he just lost his mother.
"You are telling us nothing but mere logic." Charles said bashfully, despite being curious on what his kid was going to say next. "What is your point?"
Lelouch smiled naively. "My point is, if the instigator of this assassination was able to kill one of the Knights of the Round, then he probably has the strength to slay his enemies, and will surely profit of the actual confusion to strike again."
The members of the court all suddenly stopped whispering.
Lelouch turned his head. "I am talking about you too, members of the Court. The culprit might be one of your rivals, after all."
He could hear some of the aristocrats gulping. Lelouch internally smirked. 'Killing spree, killing spree, of you've missed me, sweet Killing spree…How about I play it seriously for this 28th life?'
"You sought an audience with the Emperor just to warn the member of his court?" Charles asked musingly.
'What should I do?' Lelouch wondered in his thoughts. 'Paint Pendragon in red or take over Japan and give Britannia the greatest humiliation of all times?'
"Not at all." The young Prince replied. "In fact, I came here to make a request to your Majesty."
"Oh, and what is this request?" Charles asked. "Speak, Lelouch."
Lelouch stared at his father and smiled. It was an innocent smile, but Charles could sense it was hiding something more.
'Why not both?' Lelouch thought finally.
"I demand to be sent to a foreign land with my sister." He said, to the Emperor's astonishment.
"And why would you ask such a thing?" Charles asked, raising an eyebrow. His son's request was indeed very intriguing.
Lelouch looked at him in the eye. "I just want to keep my sister safe from 'terrorism'." He said, empathizing on the term 'terrorism'.
'Strange…' Charles thought. 'He and I reason the same way. I wonder if I have to be proud or worried…'
"And where do you wish to go?" The Emperor asked.
"I was thinking of Europe…" He began, before being interrupted by his father.
"Very well." The Emperor said in a wave of hand. "You and Nunnally shall go to Japan as political hostages."
Lelouch feigned frustration for a second, and then smiled. "Alright. Thank you, father, for your gratitude. I won't disappoint you."
Then Lelouch turned his back to The Emperor.
'Oh, father, you're so predictable.' Lelouch mused. 'Your crappy logic has always been your weakness.'
Charles, on the other hand, was damn relieved. 'I don't know what you're planning, Lelouch, but at least I'm not the one to blame for your exile. Marianne won't be mad at me.'
Lelouch got out of the Imperial court. 'Question: Is a ten year old kid without supernatural power able to take control of Japan and raise a military force that has the potential to obliterate Britannia?'
It was time, for Lelouch vi Britannia, to become freaking serious.
After all, it's not like he had anything better to do.
The doors of the Palace closed, leaving mini-Lelouch outside.
"And perhaps I'll get rid of this scrawny body of mine, too." He muttered. "It's about time I beat Suzaku to an arm-wrestling contest."
AN: Valar Morlugeass.
I think that you've understood that the story is going to become a Code Geass version of Game Of Thrones. It will, but not today. Now's the time for Lelouch to try to beat a ten-year old Suzaku to an arm-wrestling contest.
Hope you've enjoyed the chapter, the following ones will probably take more time, or maybe not. Until next time, take care, eat 5 fruits and vegetables a day, etceatera
