Company of Shadowed Light

Chapter 6 : The Hunt begin... with greeting.

"Please no!" Hay Lin pleaded, both to her friend and her fate. The moment she had hear him, the heat had already been turned. She didn't need to turn to know who it was. She knew how hard it must be for Taranee to meet again her ex.

"You should listen to her you know."Elyon snarled smiling at them. "They're people around. Wouldn't want them to burn in hell, do you?" She warned them, but it was clear in her voice that she really wouldn't mind.

Taranee growled, fire catching around her as she glared dagger at the red-haired boy who seemed to be rather amused by the situation. "The only one I want to send in hell are in front of me."

Hay Lin was looking around for any sign of her personal Nightmares when her phone rang out.' What... Only Musa has that number' Forgetting what she was doing, but with an eyes on Taranee she started to search where she had placed her Phone.

'Clack!' The sound of a slap resounded in her hear starling her out of her though.

"Almost forgot!" Elyon burst out, her hand clapped on her reddened forehead "Don't take that phone call. They'll be alright." Just after she said that, Hay Lin finally found her phone who rang one again.

"How can you know that?" She asked. "How do you know who's calling me?"

"That's easy." Elyon chuckled. "You've nothing left. I'm sure only your pixies even know your numbers."

Hay Lin felt a pain in her chest. She had to force herself not to crush the cellphone and strangle the arrogant bleached blond.

"Touched a sensible point?" Elyon asked with mock pity, sipping down her canned juice as if nothing mattered . "Or maybe it's the fact that..."

"Enough!" Kadma cut her dryly. "Tell your business and begone." They started to get up but were stopped by Nigel .

"You don't want to give us a reason to kill everyone here, right?" When he said that, Hay Lin noticed the sword lying against his chair.

"You'll do it Either way, so what's stopping us from just fighting you right now and go save them!" Taranee roared in anger, a tree next to her taking fire. Cassidy quickly doused it down.

"Calm down Taranee, you know it's what they want" Cassidy said, taking her friend's hand.

Taranee looked at her for an instant and frowned "tch". She had finally dialed down the fire but the tips of her wings were still burning.

"Now. What do you want?... Or should I say what does 'She" want ?" Cassidy asked sternly.

"You're no fun." Elyon pouted. " But... I guess you've got the right to know."

"Elyon." Nigel sighed. "That's what we're here for remember?" As he talked Hay Lin noticed his eyes were still locked on her still blazing friend.

"Well, well. You're rather stressed. We're just here for some greeting after all." Lying back down on her chair Elyon, finally explained. "The queen want to see them alone, just enjoy the time you have to live."

The weight Hay Lin felt grew at the crushing realization. Only the unsubtle menace and what remained of her moral sens made her remain by her friends' side. Her whole being had wanted to be by Musa the moment she'd heard Will was with her.

"It's rather hard to when we're fighting right and left" Cassidy snarled, but Hay Lin saw how tense she was. Now that Will was getting involved it was her turn to take charge. Contrary to the Winx they had known it would eventually come, but it was still hard none the less.

"The Wizards, right? They are nasty." Nigel all but confirmed their suspicion.

Hay Lin breath accelerated. They knew about what they were doing here, maybe worse. There were already to many signs that they had already intervened. "Those scars were from Will." She deduced, remembering the burn-like mark on the weaker Wizards.

"They tried to fight me and Will back in Heatherfield. Stupid beast-head got me by behind." Elyon frowned, scratching the back of her head "But I believe you've seen how it ended for them."

"Why not kill them?"

"They gave her a new target, involuntarily of course." Nigel explained with an unnerving aplomb. "We were in town before you, you know."

Elyon giggled "Had they not come Heatherfield would probably still be inhabited. Or standing." Their was something really unnerving about the young princess now. She had the face of an angel but her voice was lacking something on the edge . " You should have seen the town in its last day... beautiful."

"So it really was you." Kadma seethed and the ground shook beneath them. "You'll pay for that!"

"Oh! You still had family there? Or maybe you just liked the city?" Elyon continued to verse her venom, her eyes narrowing such that no light reflected on them. "Personally I can't understand. I never really had a home after all."

"You had an Home. You just forsake it." Cassidy countered, trying to defuse as much tension as she could. " And you Nigel, did you not feel anything when you destroyed your own home?"

Nigel nodded and for a moment he seemed thoughtful. "I did." He admitted, looking down.
But before they could try to persuade him, is face shifted back to a scary smile. "I felt happiness." He licked his lips. "Killing those idiots. You should have seen Uriah when he was begging for is life."

"Or the Grumpers..." Elyon clapped, reverting to her care-free smile. "They really were entertaining. I almost miss Bess" she sighed, eyes in the vague.

Hay-Lin took a step back in horrors. The other had probably missed it but there had been lust in Elyon's voice

'What have we done?' Hay Lin thought ' How could Elyon turn like that'
"You're monsters." Hay Lin growled. "Inhuman monsters."

"I admit that I don't feel very much human anymore." Elyon retorted still smiling. "But neither are you. Look at yourself."

The air became hotter once again and took a silver tint while the wind whistled in the closed water-center. Elyon knew the words that hurt. It was the price they had to pay for being able to continue the fight. Has each day passed Hay Lin found herself and the Guardian changing, becoming less human both in body and mind.

"At least we still care." Taranee answered, her voice low.

"Like you cared while you left me to die with Will?" Nigel roared real anger seeping through and his sword already pointed at Taranee's throat who glared fire back at him. There was so much hate between the two former lovers that she feared the fight might break down any moment. "You're still lying Taranee. Like always."

"Nigel, Not now. Will's order are clear." Elyon stopped him, slowly putting her glass on the table.

"I know her orders." Nigel growled, unwilling to move. Yet he slowly put his sword back on his back. "I'm sure you're still hiding things from your fairy friend."

Hay Lin and the other Guardian's sighted. Most of the center's guest had already fled, but she wasn't sure how far a fight against Elyon would take them.

"They are. Last time I checked they still hadn't told them the full truth." Elyon feigned to think.

"You're spying on us?" Hay Lin said, outraged, remembering the numerous occasion when she felt like the wind seemed unnaturally calm around her. She had always knew her intuition was right, but it was still shocking to hear it confirmed.

"Of course we are. As I said, We're here from before you even had heard about Roxy dear" Hay Lin had a real bad feeling.

'Why does she sound so familiars with Roxy?'"Don't tell me.." She started to panic.

"I guess we should say thank for saving our life yesterday?" Taranee fulminated, both figuratively and literally.

"That was nothing." Elyon bowed down with a smirk "We don't want our preys to get out so easily. If you go down so easily I'm afraid you and your protegés are in it for a lot of suffering."

"What do Will want with Roxy?" Kadma asked her hand glowing dark green. "What do she want with Flora?" She growled.

"You own me a kill Nigel." Elyon said, ignoring them. "She does care for the little flower. "

"I can't believe it. Then you'll say that Taranee care for Stella?" Nigel frowned, dubious.

"Oh but she does. Right Tara?" She smiled innocently, which on her face really gave of a strange feeling of threat.

"Stop With Your little game and ANSWER!" Taranee burst out, a circle of fire forming around them. Around them, the people who were still staring started fleeing, finally leaving them alone.

"Hell fire hum? Guess I can tell you." Elyon smiled, satisfied. " Roxy is an experiment. And your fairies... entertainments I guess."

"ENTERTAINMENTS!" Taranee shouted, cutting her to the shot, her fire lashing at the other. Hay Lin was beginning to sweat but she was now as furious as her friend. How could you consider someones' life an entertainment?

"Yes. How much can they take before breaking? You know that, right?" Elyon laughed.

They gulped. Hay Lin knew all too well what Elyon was talking about. She felt difficulty to breathe remembering the time she had been Will's entertainment, flash of memories calling her to flee. Will was planing to torture them the same way they had been. She looked briefly both at Cassidy and Kadma and nodded. They had to take them away from here.

"Once more Taranee." Nigel said reaching through the flames to caress Taranee's shin. "Once more you won't be able to hold on those you want to protect." His eyes sparkling madly as if his hate was still painted with a twisted love.

Hay Lin felt shiver ran down her spine.

"SHUT UP!" Taranee cried out, holding her head between her hand. She could almost not see her anymore behind the Dark Red, Almost black Flames.

"Let her alone!" Kadma shouted, pushing him back with her power, too close to the flame for them to reach him. Hay looked between Elyon and Taranee, unsure as to what to do. She had to protect her friend, but could she leave Cassidy and Kadma alone for that?

"We just talked you know. If you can't take that then..." Elyon right hand lit up for an instant before she crushed it and grinned. The message was clear.

"You won't Win." Cassidy said icily with a certitude Hay-Lin herself hoped she had. "Hay Lin go help Taranee!" She took a glance at her. "At this point you're the only one she would hear. "

"Ok." Hay Lin nodded, shielding herself from the flames with her own power. Cassidy's order was all she had been waiting for.
Once inside she gently took the burning hand of her friend, wincing at the smell of her own burnt flash. "Taranee. Don't let him go to you! He isn't the one you loved!"

"I can assure you I am." Nigel snarled, getting up after Kadma's throw.

Hay Lin shrieked. "Don't go near her again!" She rose a wall of wind around them, keeping them away from the world.

"Taranee..." "Do You hear me? Taranee?!"

"LET ME... I'll KILL THEM!" Taranee howled, unable to move, her head still held in her other hand. "My head hurt!" She whined .

"Don't worry. Just let it go. Don't let HER get to you." Hay Lin paraphrased what Taranee had herself said when she had almost broke down on Zenith.

"I Know But... It's my fault he's like this... " Tears were sizzling at the heat and the flooring had started to melt under them. It was clear that her friend was loosing it.

While she was trying to calm Taranee down, fighting physically and mentally against her so that she didn't burn the whole city down, she could hear Elyon gloating and cackling like the crazy girl she had become while Nigel continued to taunt them.

'We brought this upon them.' Hay Lin thought as she remembered What Elyon had hint at. 'I hope they can survive.' . If she could she would go there then... but Taranee needed her more right now, and never would she let her.

...

"Don't move Roxy. Today you are ours!" She heard from behind and grinned. She had come just in time.

"Sorry." She turned around slowly, ready for any stupid attempt. "Your Princess is in an other castle."

"You... How? What are you doing here?" Ogron bawled, unleashing the spell he had readied for Roxy. Will reflexively caught it.

"You got better I see" She said, analyzing the energy behind the spell and smiling at herself knowing she could do better without trying. "But not enough yet." She clenched her fist, breaking the spell as if it was glass.

"How?" The Wizards gasped, backing out slightly.

"That's for me to know." She said, laughing at his surprise and frustration. "As for your other question, I'm here because of you."

"That voice..." Dunman's eyes opened wide in recognition, she felt his gaze taking her in truly for the first time. He growled "It was you in my head the other day."

Before he could try to do anything Will extended her arm, catching the four Wizards in her telekinetic grasp and suspending them in the air, unable to move.

"Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner." Will flicked the younger Wizards' forehead with a smile. "Happy to see you've finally recognized me." She had been rather disappointed he had not recognized her the first time.

"What do you want?" Ogron took back her attention, trying to get out of her clutch. "Who are you in the end. I couldn't find any clues to the Heart of Earth anywhere."

Will blinked, almost loosing her concentration. "Guess the fairies and my past generation Guardian did something right." She wondered out loud. It made sens she supposed. The Infinite dimensions would have collapsed thousand time over if every generation had been as bad as I.t.c.h or C.h.y.k.n.

"Guardians..." He rebuked with disgust, as if the word itself was cursed. "I should have guessed they had something to do with That. Why else would those legendary figures reappear now of all time."

"In fact they're here because of me." She corrected him with a side smile, her legs dangling from the bed as she looked with mild interest at his confused face. "Because they made me to be more exact. Didn't you wondered why there was only Four of them?" She let him some time to think, looping his comrades around while they tried to find footing.

"..." He didn't talk, but the frown on his face would have told almost everything she would have need to know.

"Yes you did, You can't hide it. You may be strong but you four never had to go against any telepathy." She laughed and seated back on the bed. "I was the fifth, before they betrayed me. You know what it is don't you? Putting your confidence in someone, and being stabbed in the back when you need them the most." She looked at them in the eyes, seeing the reflect of a past they would not forget nor forgive.

She smirked. Nerissa, Cassidy, She, Elyon, Cedric, Nigel, Eric, Roxy, Bloom, in some aspect Hay Lin and Taranee, and now the Wizards too. Betrayal and Vengeance, it seemed, were common denominators to a lot of people these days. "They let me to die" She continued, almost nostalgic. "But Destiny just love me it seems. I survived blows that should have been lethal and gained power from it. But I wasn't strong enough yet, so I bid my time to master my power and destroy them, and the one they worked for." She then suddenly stopped, remembering what she was doing. "But It's not what you want to hear is it? " She jumped out of the bed, walking in direction of Ogron, dangling upside down.

"In My quest I took the Heart of Earth from a little girl." She said, crouching down to look him right in the face. "You see, the Thing is the origin of all magic on Earth. And where it all go back. Once upon a time it was in the had of the fairies. But, you see, something happened." She said ironically.

The face the four of them had was almost worth the little time they made her loose. They were making a pretty good imitation of fishes out of the water. "Yes guys, you got it right... You happened." She had a hard time holding in her laughter and turned around to gather herself. The Winx would be hear soon.
"Fearing you might discover its existence, the fairies hid it away before you could learn about it. Into a Human I guess. Since then it slowwwlllly made its way to me... a Fallen Guardians... Heart of Kandracar."

"Kandra... Impossible." She saw the fear in his eyes. It was so good, being feared by someone used to being feared. Feeling that moment when Ogron understood he wasn't the biggest fish in the pond would have been enough of a pretext for this little meeting.

"What is she talking about Ogron?" Gantlos asked, clearly lost about what she telling.

"Nothing Gantlos." Ogron said as she felt him finally shattered their bounds. ' About time' She thought. For a moment she had considered weakening them herself.

"Wizards! retreat!" He said as he gathered himself on the ground. "It's not a Fight we wish to fight now."

"Remember Guys, Roxy is mine. The moment you hurt her you're done for." Will threatened them, unleashing just enough power to make them bow out without disturbing the other party.

"We will see." He made his last claim before flying out the window, preceded by the three others, looking back at her fear still lingering in his eyes. He had tried to transport several time, but she had put defense against it all around the city. From tonight on no one would transport without her authorization.

"It was... interesting?" She said, tasting the word on her mouth as she looked at the four shadow flying away in the sky. "At least they should be less insistent from now on. Don't want them to disturb my little hunt, do we ?" Felling her back a little sore she stretched her Wings. Their was something bothering her but she could but her finger on what it was.

Spotting six little star moving in the sky she shrugged."I can't make the Princess wait for me too long, do I?."

"Meow" Lu finally crawled out from under he bed, an expectant look on her face " Nya?"

"Of course you can stay Lu. Just remember to remain on the side. You know what will happen if you show yourself too early." Will hand sparkled purple Lighting to prove her point, once more getting her the feeling that something was amiss. The Cat screeched. "Good. Still, I loved to see the fear in his eyes. He know what Kandracar meant for his kind."

"Nya"

"Of course it as changed." She said innocently. "It is far worse, now." She cackled before opening a crack trough dimension

"Can I come out now?" Roxy voice came from the other asked from the other side. " Is it clear ?"

"Of course." Will smiled innocently "Your friends are about to land, you should go greet them."

"Why make me call them if you Dealt with the Wizards so easily?" Roxy asked skeptic.

"You'll see. Now just go greet them." Will ordered. "I'm coming."

Roxy immediately jumped on her feet and ran down the stairs, out of her house.

...

They were nearing the edge of the town were Roxy lived when it hit them. Bloom shuddered, feeling her wings tingle with an unknown feeling.

"Did you feel that too?" Musa asked?

"Yes." Flora shuddered, and it was not because of the evening winds. "It not like anything I ever felt."

"Do you think we should have insisted calling the Guardian?" Aisha asked, looking around for the others. "I don't think we're strong enough to beat Ogron yet."

"I'm sure everything will go alright." Stella waved her concern of as always.

"Either way we didn't have the time. Roxy called us in urgency. We must hurry." Bloom completed trying to spur her Speedix wings to go faster. For some reason she felt that thing were right toninght .She was pretty sure Hay-Lin was always listening to Musa. She should have at least heard of her by now.

"Do you know why the Zoomix didn't work ?" Tecna asked from the back. They had tried several time to transport to the Water center and Roxy's home, but there was like a wall pushing them back each time they started to move.

"Must be a trick of the Wizards." Aisha proposed. "They don't want her to flee with it."

"But she can't use it." Musa pointed out, troubled. She probably had reached the same conclusion as her.

"They don't know it. It also stop us from helping her." Aisha answered.

Suddenly Stella stopped, pointing to the sky in front of them ."Euh, girls... Isn't... isn't that the wizards up there?"

Bloom looked up, following her old friend hand, and saw the four men flying in their direction. "You're right" Reading for the fight, she looked around to see if Roxy was around, but she wasn't.

"Do you see Roxy anywhere?" Flora asked looking around while still having an eyes on the Wizards.

"Aren't they looking weird?" Musa noted. "They don't seem to have noticed us 's as if they were fleeing something."

"But from what?" Bloom wondered, silently agreeing with her friend. "I have the White circle".

When the wizards passed above them without even a look Bloom knew something was wrong.

"Were they ... afraid?" Stella stuttered, taken aback by the livid look of the wizards.

"So I didn't dream that.." Bloom exhaled, blinking. Turning away from their fleeing foes she tried to look were they had come from.' They've come from Roxy's house' " Faster Winx. Whatever was there frighten them enough to pull back without Roxy. She may still be in danger. "

They put all they had into flying towards Roxy's house, landing less than 30 sec later.

"Roxy !" They called out as they started to search for any sign of what had happen.

"I'm here." Roxy answered meekly from the entrance, waving at them with small smile.

Looking at her had a relieved gasp. She looked none the worse for wear, maybe a little tired if anything.

"Are you alright? We crossed the Wizards on the ways." Bloom asked, walking to her while the other still looked around for anything suspicious. " When they were too hurried to notice us we feared the worse."

"They didn't do anything to you right?" Tecna asked, her eyes fixed on a open window on the first floor.

"No, Nothing I'm alright." Roxy said with a strange twinkle in her eyes. "I was never in any danger from them."

"Then.. Why call us?" Stella looked at her warily. "You said you were attacked." Bloom too was having doubt, she still could feel the tingle on her wings.

"I was ... At least they planed to. But she saved me." Roxy said, sitting on the stair of her house. "It was her that they were fleeing."

"Her. .. You're mysterious friend is here?" Musa said with a grin, looking around frenetically as her curiosity got the better of her.

"How could she make them back off. Is she an Earth fairy like you?" Aisha asked.

" Yes. She is here, In my bedroom in fact. I don't know how she did it, but she is incredibly powerful. I saw her making thing crazy just for ... Fun. She's more like the Guardians but... not.. exactly" Roxy answered, before slumping down.

They all rushed at her but Aisha was the fastest to catch her.

"Like the Guardian? What do you mean... Hey Roxy Woke up" Aisha said as she tried to wake her up, giving her little tap on the face. "What's happening to her." She asked her, worried.

Before Bloom could try any thing the were interrupted by a voice coming from in side the house ."She is just sleeping, She had a rough month, As you may know." There was a small chuckle. The voice was young and feminine, but it somehow commended to be listened to. "I wouldn't be worried about her in your place."

"Who are you ?" Flora asked, their instinct making them take a step back.

They were only answered by the sound of slow but steady step on the wooded floor.

When the girl got out of the house, it was like she had got out of solid shadow. She wore an opalescent black robe, a diamond cut around her belly showing of part a tattoo. Blood like red hairs flowed down to her shoulder and three... Bloom had to blink several time but yes their was three large Black Angel wings protruding from her back. The whole sight was completed by a Sword shimmering on her right side and for some reason Bloom knew she had used it several time.

But what really got to her were the eyes. The two light brown her orb seemed like they could see her soul. And somehow find it amusing.

"As you may have guessed, I'm her 'friend'." The newcomer smiled graciously. "We already met once, even if I wasn't quiet looking like that ... so you might have forgotten." Bloom felt a chill down her spin when she said the last word, and their was something in the way she had said herself Roxy's friend.

"You're the one who made us forget ... Didn't you?" Tecna said, her voice quavering .

"Yes, I was. I had to help her, but I didn't want to show myself yet. I had to see how you were." The girl said, slowly walking down the stair; there was a great majesty in the way she was moving. Bloom couldn't help thinking about Daphne or her own mother moved during official meeting. That girl was important and powerful, and was making it know.

"Then, why show yourself tonight... or will you make us forget... again?" Stella stuttered, unconsciously moving to the side to let her pass.

" I won't. Today is our official meeting Princess Stella of Soloria. " Her friend went Wide-eyes. The red-haired girl smirked; " Yes I know you. And I see Taranee trained you well on how to protect your mind." She laughed. " But don't worry, It was just from my gathering information. I'm better than Hay Lin when it come to hearing thing from afar."

"You know them too?" Musa asked hesitating.

"Yes. I know them quite well, Musa of Harmony. I would continue singing if I were you, a voice like that should go to waste" She smiled continuing to march among them like a queen among her subject, which she could really well be for all she knew. Then reaching Aisha she extended her arms "Now, Princess Aisha of Andros, give her to me, she should be in her bed now." Their was an almost overwhelming aura of power around the woman which made it almost impossible to deny her

Aisha acquiesced giving delicately giving her to that strange and Twisted angel.

"Thank you. I'll put her to bed." Moving faster that any could follow the Black apparition blurred into the house and was back among them before she had the time follow her inside.

"Thank... I mean for Saving Roxy, from the Wizards" Flora said, hesitating.

"That's normal, Flora of Limphea. Wouldn't you do the same for Miele?" She asked ." Or you for Daphne, Princess Bloom of Domino, Guardian of something that's mine." The Dark angel smiled idly at her and for an instance she felt like fleeing.

"She is your sister?" She nevertheless asked, more to calm of her mind. She really didn't want to think about the second part of the announce. Images and words she had heard since they had met the Guardians were flowing back in her numbed mind, painting a red and black name her mind refused to see.

"No, she is not." Unable to move Bloom's eyes fixed on the purple lighting that seemed to roar behind the light brow eyes. "But she is precious to me for some reason." The Fallen being delicately passed her hand on her cheeks as if she was a porcelain doll. "As for that question you don't want to ask, My identity might help you understand."

"Who are you then?" Tecna asked, talking for the first time between difficult exhalation. She was flushing as if she had fever and was looking in the angel's eyes like in a trance. Infact the last time she had seen this it was...

"Interesting. Just for that I think I'll answer your question, My little Tecna, princess of Zenith" she smirked." My name is Wilhelmina [Crystal] Vandom. But you might know me just as Will"

Bloom mind blanked. She Couldn't Be THAT Will right?

"Yes I am Bloom. I am the nightmare the Guardians have been warning you from. But it seems you don't understand yet so I thought a little rectification was in order." Bloom bowed down to the ground, suddenly unable to breath right. There was an immense pressure on her. She heard her friend also crashing on the ground rasp breathing the only sound they could seem to emit.

" How?...What are you doing to us... What do you..."

"What do I Want? Easy, I want to Play with your life. I want to see you break little by little. I want to hear you and the Guardian scream and wail." She cackled. " In short, I want to have Fun"

Bloom fell to the ground. They had to get out of there fast .This girl was mad. Suddenly she was attacked by a piercing pain in her chest and her whole Body felt like it had been assaulted All she could do was whimper as a deadly-fear and sadness settled in place of her heart she had better forgotten. From were she laid she could see all the others struggling around her with blood curling screams.

"My Head! It's burning!" She heard Stella cry next to her on the ground, clenching her head in her hand, eyes rolled back. " AAAAHH!"

"My Wings... I can't... breath..." Musa rasped, her back broken in half as laid on the side of the house "No mre... air.."

"grlll... heplrlr ..." Aisha was making the sound of someone drawing, tears of blood flowing out of her eyes as she gripped her neck as if to stop something from flowing ."gerrra..geu!... hegu !"

"Please! Make it stop! My back...! Make it stop! I Beg of you!, It HUUURT!" Flora was screaming on the ground too somersaulting like she was getting whipped, begging for it to stop.

The only one who didn't seemed affected by any kind of pain was Tecna. "What are you doing to them." She asked emotionless.

"They're feeling the pain of betrayal." Bloom could hear the amusement in the Fallen angle's voice. Image of four laughing girls passed before her eyes. She could recognize Taranee and Hay Lin. An other looked like Cassidy and the last, the one which seemed to take the most pleasure in whatever they were doing was the spitting image Stella.

"Shouldn't I do something to help?" Tecna asked, still aghast

"No. Just look at them, burn the image in your eyes" Will laughed with a little bit of longing.

"Understood." Tecna seated, Looking at them with lost eyes as they pleaded for the suffering to stop.

"Please. Tecna... wake up." Bloom tried.

The Dark Winged being looked at her with eyes that could rip out her soul. She looked at her slightly angered and shot her in the gut.

"ugh" Bloom wailed, a new, real, pain adding to the invisible torture taking her body apart.

"Stop fussing. If the weak me lived through it, so should you." Will said with the tone of a bored teacher before turning back to Tecna. "Now that I think about it , Give me Your Omni, I want to check something."

Bloom wasn't sure with the pain blurring her sight but she could swear that Tecna was crying. ' Those are tears right?'. Without even blinking Tecna obeyed and gave her her most precious treasure while stile looking at them.

"Hum , interesting. You really do have a lot of data in there." The Black angel continued, a little jumpiness in her voice. "Omni, transfer all the Data to me." She said, and a blue stream passed from the magical computer to Will's other hands

"Here it Is Miss Will. I'm happy to be of use to you" Bloom heard a feminine electronic voice answer back, but she was too hurt, and her head was too numb for her to think about were it could come from or what it could mean.

"Good now, It's time I go." Black Wing opened wide, hiding the light of the Sun from her eyes. "We Will see again little fairies. A lot. But I have to go for now so we will play again later."

"Keep what's mine safe." She cackled before Flying high in the sky. As she disappeared in to the sky Bloom heard Thunder rumbling.

That was when blissful darkness finally took her away.

...

"Cassidy." Called as they flew from the pool to Roxy's house. "Are you sure we should have left them go?"

"Yes. If Taranee is right, and unfortunately she usually is, we have to hurry" Cassidy answered. "And I don't want Will even angrier at us for hurting her favorite pet."

"What are you sensing now Taranee?" Kadma turned to the younger Guardian.

"Ashamed, Burnt-down, So exhausted that I need Hay Lin to lift me around. Extremely sad and With a will to Burn this city to the ground." Taranne enumerated her felling with a little irony. She hadn't imagined that seeing Elyon and Nigel again would put her in such a state. She had almost self-immolated, for Will's sake.

"I meant the girl, not you." Kadma admonished her, but her tone was soft and a little shaky. "Now is not the time to joke Taranee."

"I know..." Taranee sighed, grateful she had people to keep her on track.

"Stella fell unconscious some minutes ago. Which is a blessing considering how I died " She explained, concentrating on her link .

After she had finally calmed down from her literal burn-out, she had heard Stella pleading cries for help calling in her mind and saw images she would better forget. She wasn't the one feeling them this time but the memory alone had almost made her melt again. She didn't know why Elyon had finally let them go, but they had to hurry. They had been about to start a fight in the water center when Elyon had a disappointed look and told them they could go, taking Nigel away with her.

At first they had tried Teletransporoting, but Will had blocked transmission so they were forced to fly there. And with her exhaustion Taranee was forced to rely on Hay Lin for help to fly.

"I'm truly pathetic." She said, looking at Hay Lin to the side. "I was the one supposed to protect you."

"We protect each other Tara." Hay Lin answered, locking her eyes for an instant before looking back in front of her. Taranee saw that strange mix of sadness and determination which had become regular in her friend's eyes. "I wouldn't be here without you either."

"I guess you're right." She sighed, trying to gather herself. "And we have to protect those girls too."

"We will have to go back to Magix with Roxy." Cassidy concluded out of the blue, then seeing they hadn't followed her she added. "To protect them. It's the only way to keep them out of her reach."

"For the Winx maybe. But I don't think she would let go of Roxy. You heard like me how Elyon talked about her." Kadma growled, eyebrow twitching. " Still, you're right, we have to try. Be it only to give them time."

Taranee shuddered. Somehow the poor girl had end up as an 'experiment' for Will. It meant her former friend had been monitoring her, and for quit some time.

"They won't like it." Hay Lin pointed out. "But it's still better than getting ...played with... by Will."

"With a little luck, There meeting with her Will have been enough" Kadma said willfully, trying to find a silver lining to the situation.

"I can't believe she was right there, in this city, probably around Roxy for so long and we didn't notice." Hay Lin's grip on her tightened. "Moon's wind! She even fucking told us about her from the start."

"So you do think her mysterious friend was Will?" Taranee asked. She had pondered that herself for sometime but she somehow hoped to be wrong. ' Hope... I should know better by now '

"It's signed Taranee" Hay nodded, fastening their pace. "They were called to Roxy's house and then they meet Will."

"The best way to play around with someone's life is to be a part of it." Kadma confirmed with an hollow voice, probably quoting Nerissa.

"Which make our trip back even more urgent. She should be far enough from her there. I've no doubt she'll track us down but it should take some time." Cassidy concluded as they finally got into view of Roxy's house. Hay Lin could have been there faster, but right now they had to be in groups. Will could still be there.

The first thing she noticed upon landing was that there was absolutely no sign of life in the streets but the five winged girl passed out on the ground in front of Roxy's door. "Look like She's still keeping our fight under the radar" Taranee noted.

"I don't know if it's a good or bad sign." Kadma said worried, looking around as if expecting something.

"Maybe it's an old habit." Cassidy shrugged, more concerned by the fairies well being for now. "We still tend to do the same after all."

"I'll go see if Roxy is alright while you take care of the others." Hay Lin flew to the window without waiting for their answer.

Taranee touched down next to Stella and knelt down, feeling guilty from the state the girl was in. She was still sweating heavily and her face was marked from the pain she must have felt, but at least she wasn't dead. "I know how much it hurt." She said smoothly before taking her up in her arm, still slightly marked form her own melt down. She was still weak but she was strong enough to lift the slim fairy, and she could let her sprawled on the ground she she was already hurting to much.

Looking around once she was sure Stella was alright she finally noticed something was missing."Where is Tecna?" She asked as Cassidy was carrying Aisha and Kadma used her power to delicately lift the three others. She looked around but she could not see the fairy of technology anywhere.

"She's there, on the stair. She looked still pretty shocked." Hay Lin came out of the the house, Roxy sleeping calmly in her arm. Taranee looked at her, confused. "We can't let her here... Will could come back." Hay Lin explained.

"I see." Taranee snarled. "You do know she probably as her eyes on our loft don't you?"

"Yes. Eyes, ears, nose, hands. Heck I would be surprised if she lived in the unused room." Cassidy ranted derisively as Hay left the girl next to the other fairies and took Musa's hand in hers. "But it still is more secure. And once she wake up we have questions for her."

Taranee nodded. They were not safe anywhere now that Will was back on the scene."Should we wake them up?" She asked, tilting her head to the group of sleeping girls.

"They need to rest, the true nightmare might well come when they woke up." Kadma answered, looking at the girls for injury.

"Hey,Tecna, you can come now. She isn't here anymore." Cassidy called gently from the entrance.

There was no answers.

"Tecna !" She called louder, trying to shake her up.

Tecna remained unmoving not even batting an eyes as she sat on the stair, sight fixed on were her friend had been. The lone sign that she was still alive was the tears on her eyes and the rising of her chest. "I don't like that." Taranee said getting to Tecna.

"Can you hear me?" She asked once more, kneeling in front of her. When there was no answer from the Purple-haired girl she turned to Cassidy to see she had reached the same conclusion. "Will did something different to her. "

"Take her with you, Now that Will's gone I'm sure we can transport directly to the loft." Kadma commented. "Whatever was done we can't remain here too long, people are coming and as much as we want them to believe in magic seeing six fairies down for the count won't be good."

Taranee nodded sternly, she was right. She could see house lights getting turned on down the street. People seemed to finally get out of the slumber Will's presence had sent them in. "I think I have an idea to wake her up." Taranee said as she took Tecna's hand and concentrated on their flat, pushing herself and Tecna through the fabric on the dimension. There was an unusual resistance, but as Kadma had guessed they wall had receded now that Will had gone back to her lair.

Putting the strange feeling on the back-burner she seated on one of the sofa, letting the still catatonic Tecna sit by her side while the others appeared with the winx still out cold in their arms.

"You're safe now, don't worry." Hay Lin said as she lifted Musa to their room, giving Taranee a guilty look before passing.

"What Will you do?" Cassidy asked worried, carrying both Aisha and Bloom in each arm.

"The same thing I do with Stella everyday." Taranee answered, pushing away Tecna's bang to look in both her eyes. She usually didn't need any contact, but Tecna was in really deep and she needed any advantage she had."If she can't answer us then I have to dive in her mind to know why."

"Okaayy... Tell me if I can help." Cassidy behind her, probably a confused look on her face.

" Now..., it's between us girl" Taranee steeled herself and plunged as deep as she could. 'Tecna. Can you hear me? '

She was about to sink ddeper when she heard and frail answer '... Tara... is it really you ?' Tecna asked hesitantly, Still obviously shocked by her encounter with the Fallen Guardian.

'Yes. It's really me. Will is gone for now' Taranee said in a soothing and warm voice voice, trying to comfort her as best as she could.

'She'll come back ' Tecna said mater of factly ' She said she would. She left me.'

'I fear so.' Tarane sighed honestly. there was no use lying about that one. 'Now, Can you tell me what happened?

"I ... I'm so sorry... I couldn't... I was there and I...' So deep in Tecna's mind, Taranee could feel Tecna's distress as if her own and tears flowed out of her eyes.

'There was nothing you could've done . Believe me on that one.' Taranee sighed, trying to control both of their fears. She didn't know what it was but she knew enough about Will to know nothing could have been done.

'I... You don't understand...' Tecna almost shouted, closing herself back. 'She didn't do anything to me.. She just... I don't know how to explain it'

'Now, calm down...' Taranee pleaded with a calming, yet commanding voice. 'First we wake you up, then you'll explain it to us... understood?'

'I'll... I'll try... but I don't really know if I want to.' Tecna hesitated

'You have to. Do you want your friends to get even more worried when they see you in that state?' Taranee tried, knowing that the link between the Winx were by far their stronger point, and once more wishing she had been that strong back then. However Tecna immediately rebuked her.

'They wouldn't.' Tecna assured her. 'They would be upset. I just stood there, looking as they called for my help.' Taranee started to really worry, wondering what could have happened to make Tecna believe the Winx would be upset at her.

'They're your friends right?' Tecna hummed sheepishly. 'Then they'll forgive you... It was Will's fault after all.'

'How?'

'She probably did what Cassidy did to mister Benton' Taranee deduced. It was the only way she could think of that Will could have had Tecna not to move like that.

'Maybe...But I don't thing that's was it... I remember everything too well. The moment she appeared in front of us... she was so majestic... I was drawn to her. It was like when I got Digit, but only one-way... She knew who we were... I had trouble to breath just looking near her, my mind got numb looking in her eyes.

And when I asked her name... She called me 'My little Tecna ' as if she owned me.'She shuddered, the first movement she had done since they arrived ' I couldn't retort anything and then... The girls started to cry and scream around me, but It was so far away. Like looking at a film... But I knew it was really happening just around me' She sobbed . "I knew but I couldn't care about anything but her."

" Then. It was like my mind was a computer and she had all the access code of the builder itself. I'm not even sure if I was not hers, and if I was really friends with the girls." Tecna had started to talked without noticing and Taranee made no move to stop her. Getting the trauma out of her mind seems to be the key for her wake up. Still, Taranee wondered how the girl had not totally broken. She was stronger than she had pegged her for.

"After that... she ordered me to look at them at they suffered, to imprint it in my mind. And I did." She continued, eyes fixed on phantom images reflected in her eyes, still unaware she was back. "One part of me sincerely didn't care. Had she asked me to follow her That same part would have been overjoyed..." She finished, crying on Taranee's shoulders." I don't think I can fight her."

"That's how she is." Taranee said, tentatively reaching around the distraught fairy. "Her powers were never what truly made her scary, it's the way she use them and her charisma. Her single presence is enough to twist what's around her. And we fear, you are particularly sensible to her."

"I don't understand. Why would I be sensible more than the other." Tecna asked hiccuping as she tried to find answer in her eyes. Will was this girl reminding her of Will.

"Her primary power is quintessence. It include mastery over all sufficiently advanced technology, cars , fridges, cellphones, computers, Tvs... You name it, they're at her orders if she ask." As she talked Tecna went pale as death.

"That's why... Back the, when I said I was the fairy of technology you were." She started to shake and Taranee had to clamp her arm to calm her down.

"Yes. You're a living being so she can't totally control you. But she can talk to technology." Taranee looked down. "As you said she literally as a direct access to your mind."

"So... What will I do? I'm a danger for you... For the other... I shouldn't be here... if she can so easily make me... do things... then..." Tecna was getting into shock again and Taranee could understand. The thing she had relied on her whole life was betraying her. However she had to make calm her down again and she knew what people like her needed so... putting as much warmth as she could in her voice she explained.

"For now, We have to go back to Magix." Taranee said, looking out for a hostile reaction. But Tecna was under so much shock that she just listened "Then I think Cassidy and I can train you on how to resist. It won't be perfect but at least you'll be able to wake up on your own." For a while Tecna remained there, as if lost in her mind again.

"I understand. I guess it's for the best." Tecna finally acknowledged, weakly getting up and taking in the room she was in for the first time she woken. "I think I'll sleep before we go. the others won't be so understanding I'm sure but I... we can't remain here." She walked to the bedroom, passing the three other Guardian watching out form the corner.

"I don't think she told you everything " Cassidy said, walking up to her with a tired and thoughtful look which definitely did not sit well with her.

"I know. It'll take time." Taranee answered slumping down. "She might be even unluckier than us."

"And imagine when the shock subside and she realize what it mean for her home planet " Kadma said.

"Don't remind me" Hay Lin groaned, sitting were Tecna had been minute ago with her had laying on Taranee's shoulder. "She might just go berserk out of despair, or go mad and get herself killed. I know I would have not long ago. Might still in fact."

"You almost did when she killed our parents." Taranee reminded her sadly, patting her on the head before looking at the older Guardians. "Which remind me we'll have to convince Bloom to let go of her parents, or make them come with us."

"Right" Kadma traced the circle on her torso as if to assure it was still there. Taranee had seen her do that before doing things she really didn't want to. "Both would be hard, but we have too. But even then they still have a strong sense of duty. They'll want to defend Earth from her."

"It break my heart too Kadma." Cassidy said grimly, the shadow of her hair hiding her eyes. "But we are the Guardian of the Infinite Dimension, even without Kandracar to back us up. If we are to save them from Will we need them alive . We knew from the start that earth was lost, at least for the immediate future."

They all nodded and the room remained silent apart from the sobbing of the Winx in their rooms. They knew she was right, but would the fairies be able to understand?

Will stumbled back up into her room. Something was not right with her body.

She had been back from abridged introduction for hours now.

After making it clear that she was not to be disturbed as soon as she had been back she had blocked the access of her room and had laid in her bed . Nigel had even gained a new scar just for being between her and the door.

She would have liked to play a little longer with the Fairies but she had felt something going wrong with her power which had forced her to shorten the foreplay. She had been, and still was incredibly frustrated about it, but now she was quite sure it had been the right decision.

Her room, which she had reinforced to the point a star could collapse inside and not daunt the painting, was now completely trashed. Had she remained there she might have accidentally killed them in a fit of dolor. And she wouldn't resuscitate people, not even for her own amusement.

But now her back hurt like only once before. It was as if a serrated bladed were trying to cut through her back, just like when she had had her own wings cut the first time. " It would have been too easy if it had been only that" she cringed as she turned around, her wings flaring in their full glory. " Now, I can't even control my power...I was sure I had had that taken ..care.. off".

She crouched down as an other violent fit coursed through her full body. Her Wings were so tense that she was reevaluating cutting them off as she shouted blue-purple sparks all her, the wall getting scorched by untamable flames and wind blades cutting through anything still standing on her slightest twitch. Morsel of the broken furniture were flying around defying gravity before getting destroyed again, reduced to splinters by the power which was escaping her control.

Then, suddunly, as she was about to try an get up again She shouted once more, "Yaaaaaa!" There was something trying to pierce her back, from the inside.

" Is everything alright Will?" Elyon asked from the other side of the door.

" Of course not! I shouldn't Not Know what is happening to My body " Will roared, on the verge of something. The pain was now radiating through her whole body. It was taking her whole strength just to be able to talk now.

But at the same time she felt better than ever. The pain was sharpening her sense waking up things she had forgotten. As she keeled over, she could for the first time see the worlds around her. Their had been a numbness numbness those past days, as if she had been missing something.

Now the fog was going away, reawakening her anew. It was like she was finally becoming herself, her body, mind an soul finally catching up to who she was.

The last time she had felt so good was when She had gotten her armour from the Smith.

'The Smith...' Her thought stopped " So that's it " She chuckled. He had said the armour would adapt to her. And with the Oracle power now growing in her in addition to her ever-growing natural power.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" She screamed when it finally pierced the back of her skin and blue lightning struck the already crumbling walls. But this time it was a scream of pure glee. It was the proof that her own road was only starting.

She felt it flap in place up its twin, falling in rhythm with the others.

"Something good happened, didn't it my Queen?" She heard Elyon. She could feel her fear and appreciation from the other side.

"You know me too well" Will chuckled, in an unusually good mood.

"It's the reason I live for. That and have fun." Elyon sincerely said with a dreamy tone. "So~, what's the good new that made you closed yourself for nearly twelve hours ?"

"Lets say that our dear fairies won three days." She smirked, knowing Elyon was probably the only one who could bother to remind what she meant.

"Three?... Oh!" Elyon exclaimed after taking sometime to think about it " I wonder if I could go see him too?"

"Maybe, who know?" Will said, opening the door and getting up. "You're the one closest to me when it come to being 'Pure'."

Their was a silence as they considered what had been said. Memory of the road behind them flashing in their eyes.

They both laughed.

Roxy and Tecna were the first to wake up in the morning.

When the both of them came in the living room the Guardians decided it was the best moment to take Roxy to talk, leaving Tecna time to digest what had happened the day before without the other Winx.

The Guardians had wanted to explain to her who was really Will buts strangely, Roxy seemed to understand how evil Will could be much better than the Winx.

When they asked her how that was she explained. She told them how she had dreamed of Will at night month before knowing magic was real, How she had wanted to go to Heatherfield without knowing what was there. She explained how she had first met her in that park the same night Heatherfield had meets its end.

That night Will had told her that Magic would enter her life and mess it up in ways she couldn't imagine, and the Guardians were forced to admit she was right.

The Guardians could feel she was hiding things, but so were they. The pain when she talked about the others Earth fairies and the rage against the wizards had them afraid that the time with their former leader had been enough to darken the heart of the young Earth princess.

Atlhough they had made sure she knew it was their fault Will had turned to darkness at first, they didn't really explain how it had all gone down they couldn't be sincere with Roxy the same way they had been with the Winx, not yet. She was still full of doubt. The first time they had counted their story had been enough to darken the soul of people as pure as the Winx. They couldn't risk it with Roxy, It could send her over the edge.

In truth the feared. "I never Lie " Those three accusative words, even just told by Roxy for the sake of her recite, had sent chill in both Taranee and Hay Lin's head.

"We will have to tell her" Hay Lin reminded them once she was out of hear shot.

The other nodded, Taranee looking outside as if to see when the time would be. "Otherwise Will would use it as an other leverage to wave around Roxy's heart".

Silence fell on the group as they tried to came up with a way to deal with what was coming. The only noise was the muffled voices of Tecna and Roxy talking together.

...

Then Midday came, and with it the Winx started to wake up.

One by one they emerged, bags under their eyes and complaining about various pains that weren't physically there but still pretty much real.

Slowly they filled the living room, not really there and in various states of shock. None of them knew what to say.

Finally, one of them broke the silence.

"What was that thing?" Stella asked Taranee, looking like she had just woke up with the worst hangover she ever had.

"That was her majesty Willhelmina 'Will' Vandom. But I believe you already knew that." She snarled back hiding her worry behind a mask of indifference. "How are you feeling?"

"Like someone melt my head from the inside" Stella groaned, thanking Cassidy when she gave her a glass of cold water. "How the hell did she do that?"

"By literally doing it, surcharged your mind." Taranee answered, trying. " That's trivial for her. You are lucky you only feel like it had happen to you."

"What do you mean by..." Stella looked at her wide-eyed and Taranee was able to pinpoint the exact moment the truth tilted in the older fairy's head.

"Is how you... How you... d..?". Stella was hand were shivering, unable to finish.

"Died?" Taranee finished, taking the glass from the shivering girl before she broke it. "Yes, this how. She liked me enough that I was the first fall."

"She said it was the feeling of betrayal." Tecna whispered while consistently looking at her moving fingers.

"That's how her vendetta against us ended, the first time. " Hay Lin said , her voice creaking at the end as each time they were reminded of their death.

"So,... when you said she... murdered you... one after the other... in a hunt... ? "Musa asked aghast, still having trouble to breath. "You Died With your lung exploding and wings burning?"

"Yes. I was unable to do anything. I really wish you wouldn't have seen it. I even plead her to end me so much it hurt. But the worst was inside, knowing that In the end I was nothing." Hay Lin cried a little. Even so she had promised not to the feeling was too much for her. Seeing this Taranee went to take her friend in her arms. There was no need for words but Hay Lin needed to know she was not alone.

"I can understand a little, I think." Flora quavered, compulsively stroking the leaves of the flower on her head. "Being beaten to death by your own plant hearing them hating you... If it had happened to me I don't think I could have..."

"Cornelia had earned it. In a way" Kadma declared strongly, earning angry glares from most of them, but Taranee knew she had acted thus to stop her charge from breaking down. "Don't get me wrong, dying like that is horrible, even more for someone like her. But I still can't forgive her and Irma."

" I don't know anything about that Cornelia but if she was anything like Irma I understand why you would hate Her." Aisha growled, livid. "The girl even betrayed herself as she died." She had her hands on her cheeks and throat since she had woken up, as if cheeking it were truly only memories.

Taranee raised an eyebrow."So you got her thought too? Guess Will gave you a little service because the original wasn't here anymore." In the days between hers deaths she hadn't talked to Irma more than was necessary and it was the first time she even considered what the former Water Guardian would have done before her death.

"I could have done without" Aisha answered. "The sensation was hurtful enough like that. And you say it was only a memories..." She shuddered

Cassidy acquiesced, gently taking Aisha's hand out of her throat. "That's why we didn't want you to ever cross road with her. She's a monster, both in power and Mind. Now that she as taken an interest in you she will play around with you until you break."

There was a long silence.

Then finally Bloom spoke up, looking at both Hay-Lin and her with tired and accusative eyes.

"For me... I was pinned down, skewed side to side in the abdomen after being tortured by stream of each elements then left for dead. Four girl were laughing down at me as I tried to understand what was happening."Bloom stared intensely at both her and her friend who looked down in shame. " So it relay was you.. the Wind and Fire Guardian I saw in that memories "

"Most likely yes." Taranee said darkly. If there was one moment she would redo... "It was Will own Memories, how she died at our hands."

"We left her to die there, far from anything she knew." Hay-Ln finished, gripping her on so hard that her nails had pierced her pale skin." Yet, only her soul died there. When she woke up she was The monster you saw yesterday."

"I... See." Bloom mirrored Hay-Lin, gripping the edge of the sofa before deciding to change the subject. "We have to find a mean to defeat her."

"But how? We're Believix fairies and just threw us to the ground with her presence alone." Musa slumped on Hay Lin shoulder.

" She made me back feel clumsy and out of place. And I know how proud I can be" Stella half-joked. Taranee looked at her with pitying eyes it was just one more sign of how much she had been touched that she was honest about that.

"She Made the Wizards flee, afraid." Flora added in a panicked voice "When it take the Ten of us to make them back off."

'Its time.' They nodded, looking at each other.

"And she isn't alone" Kadma started making once more turn the fairy.

"Who?" Aisha asked putting the back of her hand to her forehead, her usual assurance all but gone away for the moment. "As if it wasn't enough that we had to take one that mad Angel."

"Elyon and Nigel." She answered, satisfied to see the fear in most of them. They would be more amenable to the idea they were about to propose. "At least for those we know here."

Bloom blinked, bewildered by the reluctance of her comrades." Ok, I'll take the plunge... Elyon I can place. But who is Nigel? "

"My Ex." Taranee answered, feeling her inner fire burning in her eyes and deep inside her heart, a clear sign to everyone that no one should talk about him.

"O-kaay." Bloom asked raising her eyebrows, she had unconsciously shied away under her gaze. "How strong are they?"

"Elyon took three of us working together to put down the last time .And even if we have improved, so as she." Hay Lin said.

"As For Nigel. I would say that he can take on The specialist one by one with that armor." Kadma added after letting it sink.

"And you want us to take that on?" Stella gaped, shifting uncomfortably in her seat.

"NO! We don't! That's what we're trying to tell you." Cassidy shook her head, pushing herself to look self-confident. "We are going back to Magix. Your boys already prepared their bag while you slept and Hay Lin took the ones Roxy had readied. Do yours, we are getting back" Cassidy Ordered.

"I'm not going" Roxy said, rooting her back on sofa "Not until The Wizards are done with."

"They'll follow us you, don't worry about that." Taranee snarled. They had saw it coming. Fear could outweigh the recklessness of the others, but Roxy and Bloom had to much at stake here.

"If they follow, what will stop Will from doing the same thing?" Flora asked worried.

"Nothing but her own schedule. She isn't the type to stop something in the middle, and right now her first goal should still be Earth. You're just a long-term distraction she can pick up when she want." That was the dry and harsh truth and she could see that Cassidy didn't like to speak like that; but they needed to understand.

"So you want us to let the Humans here in her clutch, to save our lives ?" Bloom glared at them, crossing her arms to her front. "We're not as selfish as you."

"No, in fact. It look like you're even more selfish than us." Taranee stood up but was stopped by Hay-Lin getting to Bloom before she could.

"We want you to save your life so we can become stronger and PROTECT THE REST OF THE DAMNED DIMENSION... Fighting her here is SUICIDE?" Hay Lin was past livid at the Winx leader's stubbornness. Dark Silver wind was starting to show around her blowing their hair and making the Winx recoiled. Following her instinct Musa had fled to Tecna's arms who was still only half-there.

Feeling it could get out of proportion Taranee pulled at her friend shoulders and whispered something in her hear. "Don't let her control you, You're chasing them away."

Hay-Lin immediately calmed down. "Sorry." She said sheepishly, letting the wind recede with a long exhale all the while griping at her arms. "That's the type of sequels you can end up with after rushing to fight her. We never know when we might just blow it off and become a second Will."

"Sequel? " Musa asked still shaking as she reached out for her calming Guardians mate.

"Darkness is contagious, and she know how to spread it. Hating her is letting her win as well." Kadma said and that seem to be the nail on the coffin for all but one Winx.

"Isn't that an other reason we should fight her here? Before she expand it on the whole planet?" Bloom complained once more, trying shakily to rose her friends. " My parents..."

"You can take them with you if they want... But they probably wouldn't." She could feel empathy for the red-head. If they were the one who had raised the fiery young girl then they would not be the type who would like to be saved alone. "Still you should try to convince them."

"But..."

"No But!" Cassidy but her foot down once last time, with all the conviction she was able to. "Remember, we had decided that When she showed up I was the one in charge. I made my decision."

Her world were final and the Winx finally stood and went back to their rooms.

"I can't believe it!" Bloom seethed once she was alone with Tecna.

"It might be for the best."Tecna sighed and Bloom looked at here with eyes that some days ago would have her frozen.

"Believe me Bloom." She shook her head. She knew her friend was strong but the Guardians were right, Bloom didn't understand what they were up against.

Bloom crossed her arm under her chest and raised and glared at her. "How are you so sure?".

"There is something I haven't told the other Winx..."

And so Tecna explained her version of the past night to Bloom, wishing that for once she was really as emotionless as people though she was.
