Bekah sighed deeply. She was currently alone in the office and it had been a rough day – she was missing her parents: Perry and Della Mason.

Remember what your therapist said, Bekah.

Bekah sighed. Her therapist had suggested that she write letters to them – telling them about how she's grown, what has been going on… etc.

She sighed – pulling out one piece of paper, deciding to only write to her father.

To my wonderful Daddy,

Hi, it's me Bekah – or as you and Momma love to call me – your sweet girl. How I wish you and Momma both were here with us… things have changed so much since you've passed.

Finian and I adopted Morgan's baby girl, she was raped during a case and fell pregnant with Elena Joy, she was born on my 25th birthday. Two years later I gave birth to twins, one boy – Phillip Charles – and one girl Holly Marie, on Christmas Day. We would've had a fifth child in 2003 if I didn't miscarry. That's when I needed you the most, Daddy.

But you would be so proud of your grandchildren. They remind me so much of you. I'm sure you want to know all about them.

Well, you already know about Perry William, yes I named my first born after his amazing Grandfather. He's a defense attorney, he's married to Aurora Kennedy and they have the most adorable daughter, yes your great – granddaughter, Della Elizabeth.

You, Elena, along with Holly would be hard to separate. They remind me so much of you – kind, hardworking, won't take 'no' for an answer and beyond affectionate with myself and the rest of the family.

Now, about Phillip Charles. He's very soft spoken – very observant, but that doesn't mean he isn't affectionate with us. He just shows it differently.

We all miss you Daddy – but we know that you're no longer suffering and are happier now with Momma and our surprise baby.

Love,

Bekah

Bekah was in tears when she read over her letter to her father – not realizing that Finian was standing behind her.

"Bekah, what's this?"

Bekah jumped a little wiping her tears,

"My therapist suggested writing Momma and Daddy letters since I've been missing them so much recently."

Finian nodded while Bekah scooted forward in her chair as Finian sat behind her and wrapped his arms around her torso which prompted her to lean back against him crying since the gesture prompted more tears.

"Hey, let it out… I know you've been holding them in for weeks now."

Finian said soothingly while he felt Bekah shake from her crying.

"Do you want me to stay?"

"P… Please."

Bekah responded with a shaking voice feeling Finian tighten his embrace, only slightly.

"I can't write both."

Bekah said tearfully which broke Finian's heart,

"You're fine, Bekah. I don't care if you just write to your Dad or if you decide to write to your Mom as well. They know you love them."

"I only have the capacity to write to Daddy… I thought I could write both… I feel so bad."

Bekah whimpered as Finian held her even closer,

"You did one… that's good enough for now."

I hope y'all enjoy
