He intended to pack as soon as Sunako got out his luggage bag, he really did. He placed clothing and toiletries on his bed, analyzing how he should pack them all to make the most use of the bag. It might be a little cool in Hokkaido, I may as well grab a light sweater just in case. He opened his closet to look for it, knowing where it was, he is the most organized one after all. Just as he was pulling the sweater off of the hanger, he caught a whiff of a light, floral scent. Noi. Her scent must still be on some of his clothing, since she and Takenaga usually walked hand-in-arm together. It hasn't been too long since Noi had left, but that smell…her scent, resurfaced fond memories and Takenaga found himself shaking, hands clenched. He threw the sweater on the ground and stomped over to the nearest sink.

I can't keep doing this. He turned on the faucet, letting the cool water run over his hands. She's not even here so why am I… he brought some water to his face and saw his reflection on the mirror. Look at you, you don't even look like yourself. His eyes lacked the clear, unclouded look they always had. There was anger clouded by hurt. He clenched his jaw, I look as mad as Kyouhei. He washed his face, dried off, and headed out the door to finish packing.

Sunako had been checking on all of the boys since she had already packed her bags a week in advance. She was looking forward to the trip. They were going to stay at her parents' house, it was large enough for all of them, although the boys would have to share a room, a detail Sunako had decided not to reveal until they arrived. Or else they'll get hostile again. The last time they had to share rooms, they played rock, paper, scissors. Innocent enough at first. Until Ranmaru lost and had to room with Yuki and Yuki didn't want to on account of Ranmaru being notorious for bringing in "strange, unsavory women." Ranmaru took great offense to this, "They are my guests and I assure you they have better class and upbringing than you, farm boy!" This only escalated things and no one wanted to room with anyone, so Sunako had to crack down on them and paired Yuki with Kyouhei and Ranmaru with Takenaga. As much as Ranmaru and Takenaga disliked sharing the same space, it would have been catastrophic for Kyouhei to room with Ranmaru and Takenaga was probably to only boy that could stop Ranmaru from bringing over "visitors".

Sunako had just finished helping Yuki decide on what not to bring- he had too many accessories, when she heard stomping over in the hall. She thought it was Kyouhei, he always has something to complain about. I bet he's going to yell at me over something that's not my fault! She followed the sound until she found herself outside of the bathroom door. She had only been there for a moment until she saw Takenaga open the door, obviously distraught because he didn't even notice her until she spoke up. "Um, Takenaga..?"

As he was leaving the bathroom to finish packing, Takenaga felt a shroud enveloping his mind. I could have followed her. She would have done the same for me. Why am I so stupid?! Noi was everything! She and I were meant…"Um, Takenaga?" He didn't even notice Sunako standing there. There she was, her violet eyes looking up at him, looking into his own. Takenaga started to feel his head clear up a little. It was if he were out sailing on a dark night, fog everywhere and then he saw a beacon of light. A lighthouse. He found himself staring at Sunako, drawn to her eyes, questioning him. He always thought of Sunako as having dark, bold eyes, but this time they were different. They were deep, enchanting even. Calling him and he couldn't look away. They were gentle, yet reassured. And for once, for just a moment, he didn't think about Noi.

Takenaga had been staring at Sunako as if she grew two heads, growing a second head would've been relatively normal from Sunako, maybe even expected. It was making her uncomfortable. She didn't feel as if he were mad at her, like she was an annoyance right now. No, the way he was looking at her, it felt different. It was if the two had left the world and entered someplace only they knew, where the atmosphere was intimate and there was nothing around to distract the two from each other. Why…why isn't he saying anything? Why can't I breathe? It feels like there's a cinderblock pushing down on my chest. Takenaga.. "YO! Takenaga! Sunako! What are you two doing just standing around?" This had made Sunako and Takenaga snap out of their daze and look at the perpetrator. Kyouhei had been looking everywhere for his bunny slippers. His prime suspect was Yuki, but after closer analysis (after making Yuki cry and pleading for Kyouhei to let go of him), he was out of clues and went to ask Sunako and saw these two frozen in the hallway. What the hell…are they about the kiss or something? "Ugh." A sound of disgust escaped his lips just thinking about those two being remotely intimate. A fire had begun to rise from his gut until he decided to just break the two up, leaving the fire to reduce to a smolder.

"Nothing, Sunako was just checking up on me to see if I have everything packed. We don't have much time before we have to leave for the airport, you know." With that, Takenaga walked off. What were we doing just now… Sunako sighed, "what do you want?" "Huh?" The blonde was startled. He had gotten distracted by Takenaga, something was off about him, and it wasn't just about Noi. "You came here for a reason, right?" Sunako's eyes pierced through Kyouhei. What's with her? She wasn't treating Takenaga this way…I didn't do anything wrong. "I…I couldn't find my bunny slippers! Yuki doesn't have them and I don't even want to KNOW if Ranmaru took them for one of his games-" "They're in the living room, just under the couch." With that, Sunako left to get her things. They had to leave within the next 2 hours.

It's been a looong time and I don't even know if anyone is still reading this or will read this, but I hope at least one person will and tell me what you think. Do you like the style, the dialogue? Do you want more action? Let me know in the comments!
