Not long before everything had started to go down, and having left the house about a half hour or so after Sam left to get Kinsey, Billy and Stu had arrived at the house to pull their little stakeout of sorts.

Billy parked the car a good distance away from the house, right around the same area they had planted Neil Prescott's car to frame him, back in '96.

Billy hadn't been particularly fond of the idea when Stu initially suggested it, given that any cop who was hunting down this ghostface….or ghostfaces would likely suspect it, under the highly likely assumption that whoever it was was copying their original crimes, but he also couldn't deny that there was a good reason for that thinking when they had.

He, of all people, knew that it was the furthest you could park that wasn't too far from the house and pretty reasonably secluded, from when he used to come here to climb up to Stu's window.

After the short walk to the house, the two of them hurried around to the back of the house, where they figured they probably wouldn't be seen by anyone either coming or going or simply just glancing out a window.

Upon peering in through a kitchen window, Billy decided that it was probably safe enough for them to split up and cover more ground and potentially even see more, so as to keep a better look out.

"Alright, I'll stay here and figure out a way to climb up to the window to your old bedroom if need be, you go around to check out the side of the house."

He whispered to Stu, holding out his cell phone. "Call my phone when you get there, and stay on the line with me, if anything happens or I hear anything, I'll come get you. I got your back."

"Got it…" Stu agreed, with a shrug. "...I still think we could've done this with walkie talkies though."

Billy rolled his eyes. "We are not getting into this again, just go!"

"Alright, geez." Stu chuckled. "I'm going, I'm going."

Billy just shook his head to himself as Stu left.

How he and Stu ever got away with anything they did back in '96 was beyond him.

About another 20 minutes or so went by before Sam and Kinsey would even show up.

Meanwhile, Billy and Stu would continue to share updates between each other.

"Anything?" Billy finally asked, after it had been quiet for a few minutes.

"Something…." Stu answered, hearing the near distant sound of Sam's motorcycle approaching. "...I think Sam and Kinsey are pulling up."

"Well, get out of there, get behind a bush or something." Billy urged, in that same hushed tone. "Don't let them see you."

Stu shook his head, half amused, as he walked. "Already on it, Babe. I'm not that stupid.

Billy sighed. "Never said you- "

But, he was interrupted and Stu could hear a considerably clear commotion going on, over the line.

"Babe?" Stu asked, panic growing in his voice when he didn't get an answer. "Billy!"

Flash forward back to what would eventually ensue from there, inside the house.

Sam was rushing upstairs, toward the master bedroom, just ahead of the rest of the party.

They were only a few feet away from the door when Leslie came bursting out from it, hand covering a stab wound in her shoulder, shouting for Nat just as they were processing what was happening.

"Nat!" She cried out. "Nat, Seth's out of control! He carved up Lauren and then he tried to kill me when I found her.

Nat grabbed her tightly in her arms, shuffling her behind her to put herself between her and Seth.

Sam held her knife out, but took a step back.

"Naaat!" Seth shouted, running out just behind her. "Nat, I swear to God, I didn't touch her!" He began to fumble his words as he also looked like he might start crying.

"I-I couldn't. She killed Lauren, and then she stabbed herself to cover it up!"

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Nat demanded, growing more defensive and causing Seth to panic even more.

"Or-or Lauren stabbed her in self defense, I don't know! I don't know! But you have to believe me...Kinsey!"

He shouted it as she started to step back even further behind Sam.

"Kinsey, you know me….I loved Lauren, and Cameron. I could never do that." Tears started to well in his eyes. "Please…"

Sam and Kinsey both looked at each other.

"What are you even doing at my party, Leslie?!" Dani finally asked.

"What the fuck does that even matter, I got STABBED, Dani!" Leslie retorted.

"Alright, enough!" Nat interjected.

"Nat, please- " Seth pleaded again.

"I said, shut the FUCK UP!"' Nat shouted, grabbing the knife out of Sam's hand to drive it right into Seth's side and bringing him down to the floor as he shouted out in agony and she started to twist it just before pulling it back out.

"...you're fucking up the big surprise." She boasted the last part.

"Seth!" Kinsey cried out, rushing down to Seth's side. "Oh my God…"

Sam was too overcome with shock, still, to stop Kinsey, as she just stood there staring at the girl who she'd trusted as one of her closest friends over the past few years who was now helping Leslie up as she took a break from favoring her bleeding shoulder to take out a voice modulator from her pocket.

An evil grin grew across Leslie's face as she lifted the modulator up to speak into it.

"Didn't see that one comin. Did ya, Sammy?!"

"Nat…" Sam whispered, turning to look at her.

Nat held Sam's own knife up to her chin to make her look at her.

"Shut…UP." She shot Leslie a look to signal for her to yank Kinsey up off the floor and bring her over next to her and Sam.

As Leslie practically dragged her, Nat gripped onto Sam and pulled her close to whisper in her ear.

"Go down to the kitchen with us. You don't scream, you don't fight and your little girlfriend might just get a little luckier than him." She nodded toward Seth, who was now unconscious on the floor. "...GO!"

"Holy shit…." Seth's friend Matt, who was also in shock, finally uttered.

Leslie just scoffed, briefly taking an arm off of Kinsey to take out a gun and shoot Matt, killing him instantly.

"Leslie!" Nat scolded.

"We can't take any chances." She insisted. "Come on!"

She turned to look at Dani, whose expression was a mix of both utter shock and just disbelief in having witnessed what her little sister was pulling. "You wanna be next?!"

"LESLIE!" Nat shouted, grabbing Dani by the arm. "My sister, my problem. Let's go!"

When they got to the kitchen, Nat held her grip on Sam but threw Dani down onto the floor.

"Stay the fuck down!" She ordered her.

Dani started to sit up, but stayed down on her knees.

Leslie came in just behind them, dragging Kinsey in with her.

"On the floor, next to her!" Leslie growled into Kinsey growled, practically throwing her down beside Dani and near where Sam's feet were.

"Juuust where a good little lap dog should be." Nat boasted with a smirk, holding the knife up against Sam's neck now.

"Why?" Sam whimpered. "Just tell me- "

"Why?!" Nat demanded with another smirk. 'You wanna know why?"

Leslie briefly became distracted by a thump that seemed to be coming from just down the hall.

She looked back over at Nat and Sam. "Well, you better tell her, babe. Or else surprise number two might just reveal itself."

Sam looked at her curiously til Leslie shot her another look and she just settled for waiting what excuse they could possibly have for all this.

"I just mean….." Nat looked back down at Sam. "Does it reeeally matter? Hmm? Will it really make you feel better to know what we have on your fathers to hold them accountable for what they should've been yeeaars ago? Hmm? ….or how bout how the little girlfriend of your bitch girlfriend's brother left me…..for a man?!"

"Tyra." Sam whispered under her breath as Kinsey continued to look up in horror.

She shook her head, as if trying to shake the thought from her head. 'W-what did you mean, what you have on them? I mean….that anyone else with basic internet access doesn't already have?"

Leslie took a tape recorder out from one of her front pockets and pressed the play button when she held it up in front of her.

Sounds of static came from the small player just before it became clear enough to hear Billy's voice on it….recalling the grisly details of how he'd slashed Tatum's arm in the garage, back in '96, taken from the day that he and Stu had been speculating about the killers while Sam was away.

"...when I had Tatum in the garage, that night, I gave her a cut just like it when she tried to run…"

Sam stood, listening in horror as the words playing from the little tape recorder were definitely being said in her father's voice.

"Awfully telling, isn't it?" Leslie boasted. "The things a man will admit to when he thinks he's alone."

"Leslie caught that from just outside Asami's doggy door." Nat snickered. "It may have been locked, and for good reason, but it sure as hell ain't soundproof!"

"And speaking of what a man will admit to…" Nat added, holding up her own tape recorder. "...You'd be surprised how easily convinced he can be that it's his husband on the other line, all I had to do there was add another number under Stu's- your dad's contact in his phone, so that my number appears as his."

Nat pressed play on her tape recorder and Billy's side of his conversation with Stu could be heard playing from it.

"Well, that makes two of us then…." Billy's voice played from the player that Nat held by Sam's ear. "You know that's not gonna look good if anyone sees you, now why don't you save it for when you get home tonight? Sam's taking Kinsey costume hunting right after school….or now, I guess. Anyway, she won't be home for a while, and you can even play with the real voice changer, hmm? Like the good ol days. And what is this, a new guessing game? What happened to what's your favorite scary movie?"

"Yeah, he wasn't too happy when he finally figured out what was going on there either." Leslie chimed in, smirking. "Certainly did a number on Nat, there, to escape."

"You told me…" Sam started to say.

"Yeah, I kinda thought it sounded a little better than, hey, Sam. I'm fine, your dad just attacked me in self defense when I tried to kill him. Thought it might spoil the big reveal, you know? Same reason I lied about the mugging to cover for Leslie's neck wounds from your devil dog and why you were getting a call from the killer from my phone. Up to speed yet?!"

Sam, still in shock, looked back down at Kinsey who was also in shock, then looked back up and turned back to look at Nat and nervously nod her head.

"Good! Nat boasted in Sam's ear. "Les?"

"With pleasure." Leslie cheered, disappearing down the hallway while Sam glared at Nat.

A grin spread widely across Nat's face as Leslie returned with Billy, who had duct tape wrapped over his mouth and was being forced to walk ahead of Leslie with her gun at his back.

"Do as I say, or my next bullet goes in your little girl's head." She was whispering to him.

"Well, well, well, if it ain't the man of the hour now!" Nat boasted.

"Dad." Sam whimpered under her breath.

"...well, one of them anyway." Nat scoffed. "Where the fuck's the little lap dog?!"

Billy lunged forward towards her at that, causing Leslie to lift her gun up and aim towards Sam, as promised, til he elbowed her, throwing her off and causing her to fire down at his foot.

He shouted in pain as Nat began to chuckle and leave Sam to come over and hold the knife in front of his face.

"Looook how easy it is for you to froth at the mouth!" Nat shot him a smirk. "I cant even get pissed at you throwing her off, the metaphor just kinda writes itself, now doesn't it?!"

"Sure does." Leslie agreed with a smirk. "Anyway, he'll be here. He's never too far behind you, is he? …...in the meantime, we gotta get Daddy's little girl here all up to speed first!"

"It allll connects, Sam. See, the upcoming anniversary of what your dads did triggered this town to get even more scapegoat-happy than normal, as they do every year, causing a so-called conspiracy theorist to break in and attack you this time, in the same exact place your daddy sliced his hubby's ex girlfriend…"

"That got him all riled up again, didn't it?!" Leslie continued. "..thus triggering a new murder spree!"

"Stu takes Kinsey's joke about wanting to be an only child a little too seriously, kills Cameron. Billy attacks Leslie, a little warning if you will, for harassing you so much.." Nat continued. "...then he attacks me to send a message to Leslie for slashing your precious tires, but then oh, now Billy makes the suspect list, we can't have that, so STU stabs him to move him to the victim list, which is perfect because when you came home and let slip how Stacy and her bitch friend were shit talking you in the bathroom, both he and Billy got a little knife happy."

"Flash forward to Dani's little ill-timed party, thanks for that by the way…" Leslie continued, shooting Dani a smirk now. "...because now it's time to wrap it up right where they did the first spree…"

"Seth and Matt are well known conspiracy theorists, so no loss there." Nat continued.

"...kill Lauren and Dani next, right in time for you to find out the truth…"

"Billy kills you to shut you up, kills his husband, and then puts a gun in his own mouth to join you both, leaving poor little Kinsey to come to just a little too late, becomes distraught, puts the gun in her mouth, leaving Nat and I the only survivors." That devious grin returned to Leslie's face. "Kinda romantic in a sick sort of way, isn't it?"

"Bout as sickly romantic as the tape recordings will be perfect for the murder documentaries they'll write!" Nat agreed.

"But not as much as it is sickly stupid." Sam added.

Nat whipped her head to look at her, knife still in hand. "WHAT?!"

"And hypocritical." Sam continued. "A murder spree that you can pin on people who didn't do it because you're mad about…...a murder spree that was pinned on someone who didn't do it?"

Nat was trying to hold herself together just a little more than Leslie was generally able to, perhaps to make it sting all that much for Sam.

"BeCAUSE, we are not blaming innocent people, SAM! HAVE YOU NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION AT ALL TONIGHT?!""

"Unfortunately." Sam answered, considerably calmly, glancing at a nearby window.

"...and enough to notice that there is something you forgot to account for."

Leslie shot Nat a look, who looked back at her before looking again at Sam.

"And what- " Nat started to ask, just before Stu threw himself through a nearby window and tackled her, causing her to start stabbing him til Sam grabbed the knife back from her

"I got her!" She assured him

Stu, though still favoring his injury, wasted very little time racing over to untie Billy, Leslie left them to lunge for Sam, before being stopped by Dani who began fighting to hold her back while Sam pinned down Nat.

Sam sat straddled over Nat, holding her down while also holding her knife,

"Probably should've made sure that more than the screen to that window was closed."

Nat looked up at her with pathetic eyes that were clearly intended to come off as more pleading and remorseful, in an attempt to manipulate Sam out of killing her.

"Sam…"

Sam didn't say anything and just began stabbing her impulsively, repeatedly, only letting up just once.

"...and you also shouldn't have fucked with the daughter of serial killers."

Sam looked into her eyes one last time, the eyes that up until now, had given her the reason to trust, to believe that Nat had ever actually been her friend.

And the next blow she gave, right through Nat's neck with that knife, probably would've been fatal enough on it's own….but she still delivered one more, final stab…..right through Nat's heart.

Sam sat there, looking down on her as she took time to catch her breath…..until Leslie finally broke free from Dani's grip, while Dani looked down in horror at her sister's body.

Tears welled in her eyes, but she gave Sam a look, almost as if in approval, to ensure Sam that she knew she did what she had to.

Sam accepted, but wasted no more time running after Leslie, who was already almost to the stairs.

Sam caught up with her, just in time to stop her and drag her back towards the kitchen.

When Sam returned with her, Billy grabbed Leslie from the other side and started to take his own knife.

Sam reached to grab it from him.

"I got a better idea…." She glanced toward the sink and then back at him.

Sam shoved her towards the sink, practically throwing her at it, though never actually letting go of her. She looked back up at Billy as Leslie tried to fight back harder.

"Dad!"

He looked back at her, looked back down to Stu on the floor, and tightened his grip on Leslie, following his daughter's lead as she reached for the switch to start up the garbage disposal.

Billy looked back at Sam, clearly taking pride in the brutality of her idea, and helped her shove Leslie's arm down it, as she fought and screamed in agony.

As they did that, Stu mustered up enough strength to strike Leslie from behind with his own knife, til she passed out and fell to the floor beneath them.

Sam jumped back, caught off guard for a moment, as she looked down at Stu and then back up at Billy, catching her breath as she tried to process what the three of them had just done, while Billy rushed down to Stu's side.

He put a hand out, lovingly onto his shoulder, to comfort him, quickly grabbing his hand with his free one when he started to try and stand.

"Woah...you okay?"

Stu groaned softly, having aggravated his injuries when he tried to move, but nodded.

"Wh- umm…." Sam cleared her throat and glanced around the room. "Where's Kins- "

The next sound that interrupted was the shot from the gun that Kinsey had apparently taken in all the commotion, firing its shot into Leslie's head….just in case.

The three of them, followed by Dani, all looked up at her when she fired it.

She looked up at Billy.

"...wouldn't be able to kill a spider if it was in front of me, huh?" She chuckled a little, half genuinely, at her own joke.

Billy looked at her curiously for a moment, still down on Stu's level.

Kinsey held up a tape recorder and pressed play on it, chuckling a little more humorlessly this time, as Billy's comment about how the killer couldn't be Kinsey because she probably wouldn't be able to kill a spider played back from it.

"Nat had another tape player in her room, probably for backup. I found that and a few more tapes, thought Sam might wanna decide what to do with them."

"More like what fire to toss them all into." Sam sighed, taking them from Kinsey's offered hand. "Thanks."

Dani glanced up at Sam suspiciously, but decided against saying whatever was on her mind just then when the distant sounds of sirens approaching started making themselves known.

Billy looked up at Sam, but also decided against saying anything more, before redirecting his attention back to Stu.

"Alright, you're sure you're okay? Can you walk?"

"Think so- agh!"

Billy grabbed him up again.

Sam looked back down at Nat's lifeless, bloody body on the floor, reached down and grabbed the necklace she was wearing and ripped it off her neck when she noticed that it was the one she had given her a couple years ago, an shoved it down into her pocket before bringing herself back to the situation at hand and rushing over to Stu's other side to help Billy help him up.

"I'm here...I'm here too."

"He'll be okay.." Billy reassured her, as they helped him walk toward the front door.

Would Sam be though?

Knowing what she now knew….would she be okay after this?

Sam pondered the question to herself, trying to process it all, as they walked, with Kinsey now consoling Dani as they followed shortly behind the three of them.
