Yo! I got a new chapter for this story! I know that I have been putting more of my focus on Shatter Lies, but I have been just more hyped to write chapters for it currently then A New Hope, but I will still be updating this story from time to time. I wanna build up this more before I get to the operation to reclaim the next wall.

Now, I understand that there are errors in the story. Yes, I know I need a beta, but I don't have one and as I have explained before English isn't my native language, but I'm working on it. Writing is a way for me to learn more about it.

I hope you all enjoy this chapter! Leave a like, a review or two! See you all next time!

Naruto hummed as he watched Hange go on and on about Titans and all the experiments, she had been conducting on them. How they behaved, how their state was effected by day and night, and also depending on the Titans. The sun had already set as the two simply sat in the field near the castle. Hange for her part didn't even realize that the sun had already set, she just kept on talking about all she had learned.

"And that's how I named them Bean and Sawney!" She proclaimed, talking about how she named two captured Titans. The way she spoke about them were as if they were actual legitimate prisoners.

"Oh? You actually named them?" Naruto questioned as she nodded furiously before she grew silent.

"And then I had to test to see if they could feel pain like we humans do! It was so brutal! The pain they must have felt was unimaginable!" She lamented as she talked about her experience. The way she talked about them, her expressions, and her attitude.

"I can tell that you are quite passionate about this." Naruto pointed out to which she nodded.

"There is still so much we do not know about Titan's. The knowledge we possess is our key advantage over Titans and for so long we have been stumbling in the dark. That's why, I want to know how Titan's work. If they can communicate, if they are capable of higher thought. Every single piece of information we gain gives us more of an advantage. That's why, I cannot give up." She said firmly. Naruto raised an eyebrow at that.

"So that your comrades sacrifices aren't in vain, right?" Naruto questioned her as she looked up at him in surprise. She nodded wordlessly as she watched Naruto lay down onto the grass field and look up into the sky.

"I understand how you feel to some degree. When I was a child, my parents sealed inside of be a beast of great power." Naruto started as his face grew neutral.

"That's the Great Nine Tailed Fox to you!" Kurama shouted inside his mind, but Naruto ignored him for the time being.

"For such a long time I had no idea of it. As time flew by and I started to use that power within me. It was uncontrollable for the longest of time. Whenever I used it, I went berserk and targeted friend and foe. And when I went too far, I decided to never to use it again." Naruto explained as he remembered the time when he injured Jiraiya during an attempt to control the power.

"But it did more damage then good. If I had only learned how to use that power…" He lamented at that. He could have saved so many people if he had just learned how to wield Kurama's power.

"Wouldn't have done you any good. I still resented you and your kind." Kurama pointed out causing Naruto to sigh. That was true. Kurama would have never let him use his power, because up until then everyone had treated Kurama and the rest of the tailed-beats as mindless creatures to be used.

"Uh, Naruto, you said something about sealing a beast inside of you? How is that possible?" She questioned him as Naruto scratched his cheek at that.

"Hmm, how best to explain this…" Naruto thought before he nodded to himself. He lifted up his shirt, which caused Hange to blush. It was like she hadn't seen the body of the opposite sex before, but Naruto's body was…

"Look at abs..." She almost drooled at that sight, but she had to control herself. Naruto used some Chakra as the seal on his stomach came to life. She was intrigued at the sight of it and without even thinking she reached out to and ran her fingers over it. Naruto blushed at the contact, not expecting her to do that.

"Is this the –" Hange started but stopped as her eyes widened. Behind Naruto stood a massive creature, its nine tails waving menacingly behind it. She looked around and noticed that she was no longer in the fields by the castle. This place looked like some sort of underground tunnel with water at ankle level.

"Kurama, did you really have to do that." Naruto huffed as he looked back at the massive creature, who only looked down and chuckled.

"Sorry, I just wanted to meet the vixen. And it's been a while you have brought me a shack." Kurama responded with a chuckle as he opened his jaws. Hange took a step back. She had fought and killed countless Titans, but this…this…whatever this creature was it was nothing like a Titan. Just looking at it made her feel fear unlike any other.

"Knock it off Kurama." Naruto sighed as he walked up to Hange before he took a hold of her shoulder and shook her out of her shock. Kurama roared in laughter as he eased off on the girl.

"Sorry, just trying to have some fun." Kurama laughed at Hange's expression, but Naruto looked more annoyed.

"N-Naruto, where are we and what is that thing?" Hange questioned, pointing at Kurama. Naruto sighed once more as he threw Kurama an annoyed look.

"We are in my mindscape. Think of this like a reflection of my mind. All these tunnels you see lead to some aspects of my mind, such as my memories and such, but I advise you not venture there. This being here, Kurama, was sealed inside of me and this is where he resides. Think of him like my prisoner." Naruto said cheekily as he Kurama got a tick mark at that.

"Oi oi, I'm not your prisoner!" Kurama shouted causing Naruto to grin.

"He might act like a big bad fox, but he's just a big softie inside." Naruto joked, which caused Kurama to grumble.

"Wait, so if he is your prisoner, why isn't he behind bars?" Hange questioned him, still trying to wrap all of this around her head. If there were any doubts of Naruto being from a different world, they were now utterly shattered. She had never had an experience like this, nor did anyone else in that matter.

"Well, he was once behind bars, the seal if you will, but I opened that seal, so he is right, he no longer is my prisoner, more like a comrade." Naruto answered as Kurama huffed but nodded.

"The kits right. So, if you got a problem with him, you got a problem with me." Kurama added with a growl which caused Hange to lift up her arms. Naruto sighed before he turned to Hange and brought his hand up to her forehead.

"I'll see you back out there." Naruto said as he tapped on her forehead, pushing her out of his mindscape. Naruto stared at the spot Hange stood before he spoke up.

"I know you're there." Naruto spoke up as he turned to his right, looking into of the dark tunnels. He heard footsteps in the dark before a figure appeared before him. It was a young woman with blonde cut in straight bangs that were shoulder-length and down to her shoulder blades. She wore tattered white cloths and a headband. Here eyes were light blue. If it weren't for her light skin, Naruto would have assumed she was some sort of a lost relative.

"You know, I have had many questions since I have arrived in this world, mainly, how was it possible for me to already know the language. So, tell me, who are you?" Naruto questioned as turned to face her, expecting an answer, but she said nothing as she just stood there. Naruto narrowed his eyes as he tapped into nature Chakra to get a better read on this unknown woman.

"It's like a Genjutsu." Naruto muttered. Something was controlling this woman and he had no idea what it was.

"Kurama, help me out over here." Naruto asked for Kurama's assistant who nodded as he sent Naruto some of his Chakra. Naruto vanished from his spot as he appeared behind the young woman as he reached out to her and grabbed her shoulder. With his other free hand, he made a hand sign and brought it up.

"Release." Naruto spoke as he sent a mix of Kurama and Nature Chakra through her. Whatever was controlling her, it stood no chance against the corrosive nature of Kurama's Chakra and the purifying one of the Nature Chakra. The young women gasped as she fell down on her knees.

"Are you alright?" Naruto questioned her as he looked down at her. The young women didn't respond once more. All he heard were the sounds of tears making a splash onto the water below.

"Thank you." She sobbed out as Naruto's facial expression softened. He could hear the pain in her voice as she sobbed openly. Naruto bent down and did what he thought was right, gave her a hug from behind.

"Hey, it's ok now. Whatever was controlling you has been purged. You don't have to be afraid." Naruto comforted her as she choaked on her sobs as Naruto just sat there for what seemed like an eternity, just letting her cry.

Outside the seal:

Naruto opened his eyes as he looked at Hange, who looked absolutely confused. One second, she was talking to Naruto, the next she was inside his mindscape as he put it and the next, she was back, and it was as if not a second had passed.

"Uh, Naruto. How is it possible?" She questioned him as he tilted his head.

"How what is?" He questioned her with a smile. A lot of things were not possible by this worlds standard.

"How did no time pass here? It felt like we were inside your mind for such a long time." She questioned him to which Naruto nodded in understanding.

"That's simple. Time pass differently inside by mindscape. We might talk for hours in there and mere seconds might pass out here." Naruto explained to which she looked developed a thoughtful expression. She didn't quite comprehend it, but she still tried.

"Well, I suppose that makes sense. The human mind supposedly comprehend things and events slower then they actually are. It explains how we react differently to the levels of danger…" She tried to theorized, but with no way of studying such a theory she pushed it aside for now.

"I suppose. Though I never really studied that sort of thing back home. I just chalked it all up to the work of the seal. Most people never get to see their mindscape, so I wouldn't know what others looked like." Naruto offered some insight that Hange quickly noted down. Everything she could learn about him was quite possibly the most useful information she could have at this point.

"Hange, there you are. And there's that chore dodger." Levi broke them out of their conversation. He was positively annoyed that not only was Hange late, but Naruto had dodged the chore of cleaning the castle. Naruto gave him a cheeky grin while Hange chuckled lightly. Behind Levi were his elite squad and Eren. Naruto yawned as he stretched his arms as he heard the satisfying pops of the sore muscles.

"Well, it's getting pretty late. Maybe we should hit the hay." Naruto advised as he began to walk but Levi blocked his path as he looked up at the blond with a glare, while Naruto looked down with a raised eyebrow.

"Can I help you?" Naruto questioned as Levi gritted his teeth.

"You could have helped us several hours ago. But instead, you were dozing off with the weirdo over there." Levi pointed to Hange. Of course, he didn't mean it, but Naruto didn't know that, hence why Naruto narrowed his eyes.

"You shouldn't insult your comrade because of her odd interests." Naruto said but Levi said nothing in return only looking up at him with a stoic face.

"Before we all go to sleep, I want to see what you can do." Levi said as Naruto blinked at that. At this hour? He saw that Levi wouldn't budge so he sighed and turned around and backed up, putting some distance between him and his squad. He stood a good way out from them as he crossed his arms and waited.

"Well, come on. I don't have all day." Naruto called out to them as Levi nodded to his squad as he and the other four quickly surrounded him. Naruto looked at them before yawning. They tensed up and were about to jump before they felt cold steel press against their necks.

"What the…" Levi said as he looked back and his eyes widened. Naruto was standing right behind him, a blade of sorts right at his throat. He looked around to find his squamates in a similar situation. But that was impossible. How were five of him there while the other one just stood there.

"Those are Shadow Clones. They are in essence my physical copies that have all the abilities that I do. And you are dead." Naruto stated as he started to walk again passing the squad and the stunned Hange and Eren.

"Levi, what you need to know about me is, that none of you stand a chance against me. If I wanted too, I could completely alter the landscape around us leaving nothing but destruction. You might be good at slaying Titan's, but I am no Titan, remember that." Naruto finished as he walked towards the castle as his clones dispelled in a cloud of smoke.

"D-Did he just say he can make more of himself?" Petra stuttered out as they couldn't believe what they had just seen. Levi was left shocked. It had been a long time someone could make him feel inferior, that they could so effortlessly kill him without even trying at that. Someone like that.

"He's a monster alright…" Levi said to himself as he looked at the back of Naruto's retreating form. Compared to the likes of him, that man was on a whole other level.

And that's a wrap! How was it? I added Ymir in the story very early on purpose and Naruto effectively freed her much earlier then in canon. With Ymir freed from the control of the royal family, how will this affect the story? Wait and find out!
