Good evening,
I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Oxford Not Brogues
Chapter Thirteen
Holding hands, Seras and Allison walked down a slightly busy street in London. Alucard and Sebastian followed close behind their two girls. The toddler looked purely mesmerized as she looked at all the bright shops and buildings they passed. Her mouth was hanging open as each light they passed reflected in her large red eyes. Little Alice loved it when her mum took her into town. She loved seeing all the people and all the different, colorful shops. She especially loved it when it was Christmas time and the streets and shop windows were fully decorated. Unfortunately, Christmas was still months away.
"Besides catching fireflies, what else did you do with your fathers?" Seras asked her daughter. Not having paid attention to what she said, it took Alice a great amount of concentration to bring all her focus on her mother.
"Huh?" The child murmured. Drawing her gaze away from the distracting shops, she swung her head around to look up at her mother.
"What else did you do with your fathers?" The mother laughed at the toddler. Alice's gaze drifted to the ground as she thought about it.
"Um…" She hummed, but struggled to remember all that she did with them. Within seconds, the child's full attention was back on the bright shops. The demon chuckled into his hand before he answered for his daughter.
"By using her blocks, she showed us her spelling skills." Sebastian answered with pride shining in his eyes. Seras glanced over her shoulder at her mentors. "Our daughter is quite the speller." Their mate was only capable of blinking at them with a stunned look on her face. The smile faltered from the demon's lips. "What?"
"I saw the blocks when I came looking for you guys." Seras stated. "Are you telling me she spelled those words herself?" It was the dark haired males' turn to give her a strange look, one of confusion and bewilderment.
"You didn't know she was capable of spelling words that contain more than three letters?" Sebastian asked with furrowed brows.
"She's attempted to spell her name several times, but hasn't gotten it yet. I didn't know she was able to spell words like colour or even Alucard's name." The Draculina responded before she glanced down at her child in wonderment. "That's amazing." The mother then scooped her child up under her arms. Instinctively, the child wrapped her legs around her mum the best she could and raveled her thin arms around Seras' neck. Not once did the toddler look away from the bright shops and pretty display windows or the people that passed by them. Her eyes took it all in. "Darling, why didn't you tell me about the words you can spell?" The mother asked. With one arm wrapped around Alice's back, Seras combed her fingers through her daughter's black silky hair. Without looking away from the shops, the distracted child shrugged her shoulders. The toddler rested her weary head on her mother's soft chest as her eyes flickered around. It soothed her further when hearing her mother's supernatural heart beat every so often.
"If she knows how to spell Alucard's name, why does she struggle to spell her own name?" Sebastian questioned.
"My name is too hard." The toddler answered. "I can never remember how many L's are in my name."
"There are two, hun." Seras told her. Allison's face scrunched up in dissatisfaction.
"Then why isn't my name All-i-son instead of Al-i-son?" The confused child asked. "Alucard only has one L. Why doesn't my name? It would be easy to spell if my name only had one L." Alice then lifted her head to look at her mother. "Do you not know how to spell, Mum? Maybe you spelled my name wrong."
"I didn't spell it wrong." The mother laughed. The toddler sighed heavily and planted her chin on Seras' shoulder. Her red eyes flickered to her fathers who followed close behind them.
"I think you did." Alice murmured. "Alice is easy to spell. It has one L like it's supposed to. I don't want to learn how to spell Allison. It's annoying." The child then gave a funny look. "Then again, Alice is also a weird name. It has the word lice in it, but when saying my name it sounds more like 'liss'. Why is that, Mum?"
"I don't know, hun." Seras replied while she rubbed a hand over her daughter's back.
"Little Alice has come such a long way. One minute she's a giggling baby and then the next she's spelling and reading." Alucard spoke with a large grin on his face.
"She's getting big." Sebastian added, following Alucard's lead. "She's growing up." Seras said nothing in return, but they did see her arms tighten around her daughter. "Before we know it, she'll be a moody teen and want very little to do with any of us. Time really does fly."
"Do you recall what it was like when she was a baby?" Alucard asked. "The first time you ever heard her laugh?"
"Or the way she smiled whenever you entered the room?" Sebastian helped list off moments.
"The way her eyes sparkled with recognition; she knew you were her mother."
"The first time a baby calls you mummy."
Alucard and Sebastian nearly ran right into Seras when she unexpectedly turned sharply to face them. Clinging to her 'baby' girl, tears formed in the mother's eyes.
"I cried when she said mummy for the first time. It was one of the best feelings in the world." Their mate replied as she fought not to cry. She anxiously stroked her daughter's hair as she hugged her tightly to her body. "Oh, she is so big. Soon I won't be able to hold her like this." Hot tears ran down Seras' cheeks. "And she's already so independent! She won't need me anymore!" Their mate cried a little harder. "I miss that baby smell. I miss wrapping her in her little pink blanket and putting her in her crib." Her lip quivered. "Remember it all. The day she was born. The first time she opened her eyes. Her first cry. Oh! The first time she clapped her hands! Or her first steps! And her first word!" The mother became a victim of nostalgia, falling deep into old memories and missing having a baby.
While Alucard and Sebastian did feel successful, they couldn't help but also feel remorse for making their mate cry. They hadn't expected the nostalgia to hit her that hard. The demon pulled a handkerchief from his pocket. Gingerly, he dabbed the white cloth over his mate's cheeks, cleaning up her tears before the humans could spot her crying blood.
"Shhh," Sebastian gently hushed her. "It's alright, Seras. There will be plenty more memories. Alice is not going anywhere; she's still your little girl." The Draculina used her palm to wipe away the rest of her tears. Taking deep breaths of the cool night air, Seras managed to get her emotions back under control.
"Sorry," Their mate murmured a few seconds later. "I don't know what came over me. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy and proud seeing how grown up Alice is becoming. But…at the same time, I don't want to say goodbye to these years." I want to do it again. Seras realized, though she was too afraid to say it out loud. When hearing this particular thought, the demon smirked in victory.
"Mum, look at the funny bird." Alice giggled and pointed off to the side. The mother turned to find that they were standing in front of a pet shop. The shop was closed, but there was a worker still tending to the animals and cleaning up before leaving for the night. In the window was a litter of sleeping kittens curled up around their warm, furry mother. Further in the shop was a white cockatiel that bounced his head up and down and moved his entire body from side to side. Occasionally, the bird would spread his wings and flap, but wouldn't fly anywhere. The toddler laughed as the bird bounced. "Isn't he silly, Mama?" But the mother wasn't looking at the bird. Her eyes were focused on the mother and her kittens. Suddenly, her heart hurt with envy. That mama cat had four tiny, cute kittens.
At that moment, Seras could only envision having three or four kids of her own. A small smile graced her lips as she imagined the faces and features of her children. A young boy with blonde hair and blue eyes, who was shy but adventurous, much like his older sister, Alice. Another child with long blonde hair that flowed down her back and mischievous red eyes. That one would be quite the troublemaker. And then the third imaginary child, black hair and red eyes; a spitting image of his father, Sebastian. Seras' eyes then widened and her smile vanished. Sebastian and Alucard? The fathers? The mother glanced at her daughter from the corner of her eye. She supposed it shouldn't be terribly shocking since she already had one kid with her master. But to have more…kids with her…mentors? It sounded bizarre and surreal. Was that even a possible future?
Seras shifted her head to look at Alucard and Sebastian who were already staring at her. It was as if they knew what she was thinking because they had such large grins on their faces and a mischievous look in their eyes. A look that told her that they were ready to ravish her there and then just to give her what she wanted. They had already told her that they loved her. Sebastian was intent on letting her know that he would always love her. If this relationship worked, would they end up with more kids in the future? A bashful smile reappeared on Seras' face while she gazed lovingly at the dark haired males. The idea wasn't bad; it actually sounded quite pleasing. She would love to have more kids with Alucard and Sebastian. Did they want to have more kids with her?
A thought then crept into her head, wiping the smile off of her face. What about Sir Integra? When Seras was pregnant with Alice, the Hellsing wasn't happy. The Draculina had a feeling that Sir Integra would castrate Alucard and Sebastian if Seras ended up pregnant a second time. Maybe having more kids wasn't such a good idea, no matter how badly she wanted another. Full on frowning now, the Draculina turned away from her mentors and continued down the street.
"Bye, birdie!" Alice chirped as she waved goodbye to the cockatiel. The elder creatures frowned simultaneously when Seras' mood changed so suddenly. They had heard every single thought and were ecstatic that she was eager to have children with them. But the damn Hellsing was getting in the way of all that! Alucard and Sebastian quickly followed after their perturbed bride. They needed to change her mind and not worry about what Sir Integra thinks! But how? Would she even believe them, especially how they lacked fathering Alice these last three years? Crossing the street, Seras wandered off with Alice into a parking lot of a twenty-four hour supercentre.
"This isn't the movie store." The toddler announced as she stared at the store in disappointment. "I thought we were going to the movie store."
"We'll go to the video store after." Seras promised. "I have to pick up something here first."
"Will it be fast, Mum?" Alice asked with a heavy sigh.
"It should be." The mother muttered before she set her daughter down on her own two feet. Taking the girl's hand, she led Alice into the bright, cool store. Thankfully it wasn't that busy. It was mostly younger people hanging out and some middle aged people getting late night shopping done. Allison immediately forgot her disappointment as she looked around in awe.
"Wow! Look at all the stuff!" The child exclaimed in bewilderment as she pointed at end caps that displayed different products. Seras was heading right for the makeup aisle, but was stopped by, surprisingly, not her toddler but by one of the people she least expected.
"What is this?" Sebastian asked. The Draculina paused to glance over her shoulder at the demon. In his hand he was holding a medium sized box, but she was unable to tell what the product was. "An interactive cat toy?" He then pointed at the box. "A toy mouse randomly pops out one of these four holes. It's supposed to help keep your cats active while appeasing to their predatory nature? And it only runs on batteries? This is extraordinary." His eyes then flickered back to the shelf. "And it's only fifteen pounds? Shouldn't such a fabulous product cost way more?"
"We don't even have a cat." Allison whispered to her mum and she tugged on Seras' hand.
"I actually have two, but they're confined to my room on Sir Integra's orders." Sebastian answered as he tucked the medium sized box under his arm. He proceeded to look at all the other cat toys present. "A feather on a stick? This is considered a cat toy? I thought only couples used this as a toy." The demon grabbed two of the feathery toys. Seras couldn't help but snicker. "Cat litter is also a lot cheaper here and it's the same brand I get elsewhere." With ease, he balanced the items in his arms as he grabbed a large box of cat litter.
"Maybe you should just get a trolley, Sebastian." Seras laughed. But then the Draculina had to wonder, Did Alucard or Sebastian even carry money on them? "I can pay for it for you. Just get a trolley and add whatever you want to it." Sebastian shifted his head to look at her.
"It's alright. I always carry money on my person just because I never know when I might need it." The demon informed her. He then smirked at his little bride. "You put whatever you want in the cart. It's on me." Before she could even argue, Sebastian walked away to retrieve a trolley. The small blonde then turned to look at her master. He showed absolutely no interest in any of the products around them. He was currently frowning in disapproval at the aisles of pet products to their left.
"Alucard…I mean, Master!" Seras corrected herself again. He immediately looked her way. The corner of the No Life King's lips curled into a grin and he chuckled in pure amusement. Funny, earlier that night she had trouble remembering to call him by his name. Now, she keeps forgetting to call him master whilst in public. "Sorry, Sir."
"It's fine," Her master replied with a nod. "What is it?"
"Is there anything here that you see that you may want?" His mate asked while she gave him such a bashful smile. His eyes narrowed on her and his brow quirked in interest from what she asked.
"I have my eye on what I want." He purred. That grin of his widened until he was showing off his sharp incisors. "And I don't have to pay for it either." Seras' entire face turned a dark shade of red. Subconsciously, she held her daughter's hand even tighter. Alice threw out her arm to point a finger at Alucard.
"You're doing that creepy smile again!" The toddler announced. "Stop it, Alucard! I don't like it! Remember your sweet smile!"
"Your mother loves my smile." Alucard purred with a pleased look in his eye. His mate's eyes were practically sparkling with arousal from that look he was giving her. The poor dear was trembling at her knees. The sound of a squeaking wheel behind him told him that Sebastian was back with a trolley.
"Why is Seras' face red? What on earth did I miss?" The demon asked as he looked from the Draculina to Alucard. The little girl let go of her mother's hand to wander over to Alucard. Grabbing a fistful of the No Life King's coat, she yanked the fabric while shaking a finger at him. The elder vampire glanced down at his offspring who was doing her best to be intimidating.
"Be nice, Alucard!" The toddler scolded him. "And don't steal from the store! Stealing is bad!"
"Pardon?" Sebastian muttered as Alucard leaned over to pick his daughter up. The fathers could have sworn they heard their daughter murmur 'don't eat me' under her breath. The males chuckled in amusement while, thankfully, the child showed trust by letting him pick her up. With her bottom resting on his arm, he lifted her to his level. Alice then wrapped an arm around his neck to secure herself.
"Alucard said that what he wanted he didn't have to pay for." Allison explained to the demon. It suddenly became quite clear to Sebastian why Seras was quite red in the face. The demon smirked while he chuckled to himself.
"Oh," He said through laughs as he looked back at his shy bride.
"Isn't that stealing, Mum?" The child asked while she gave her mother a worried look. Seras finally looked at her to give her a small, reassuring smile.
"Not paying for something from a store is considered stealing." The mother confirmed with a nod. But her mother's smile was unable to ease the toddler. She only became more worried. What if Alucard got them in trouble? Would the police come and arrest them?
"Mum, I don't want to go to jail." The toddler whined.
"Your father was only…joking, darling. He's not stealing anything and you're not going to jail." Seras promised her daughter. The little girl stared at her mother for a short moment and then sighed.
"Alright, Mum. I trust you." Alice responded sweetly. As her daughter's attention shifted to meet with her father's gaze, Seras looked around in mild interest. However, something instantly caught her eye. "Alucard, can you give your nice smile now? I don't like this smile. It's too scary." The mother barely paid any mind to what her child was saying. As if she was in a trance like state, she started wandering over to the section that had caught her eye.
"Is this better?" Alucard asked as his smile softened for his daughter. The little girl giggled and smiled in approval.
"That's way better, Alucard!" Alice responded with a proud nod.
I want to have another baby. Their mate's thoughts reached them. Alucard and Sebastian's eyes widened before their heads snapped to the side. They found Seras further down on the corner of two main pathways. Surrounded by baby clothes, she was currently staring longingly at a small onesie that read "Chonky & Squishy". Despite the small smile on her face, there was such a forlorn look in her eyes. Mindlessly, completely forgetting her original shopping list, she started browsing the tiny clothes. Her smile widened when seeing little sweater vests and ties, puffy tutus, pajamas with dinosaurs on them, and pink dresses.
Would Alucard or Sebastian even want to have another kid with me? The first was an accident and…they weren't really thrilled. But…they do love Alice. Their mate then sighed in defeat. Our relationship is all messed up; we just started something serious. Do I really want to add more complications to our lives? A baby might just be too much right now. It might be a strain on our relationship and on them. They just started fathering Allison. Maybe one was enough for them. Seras frowned with a frustrated groan.
She stopped to stare at tiny socks and shoes. Unable to stay in a sour mood, the mother gave a soft smile as she brushed her fingers over the tiny socks. Unless…Something then sparked in her eyes while she thought carefully. Perhaps…I could…persuade them? Either that or corner them while I'm in heat. A smirk appeared on her lips and she couldn't help but snicker at that amusing thought. Perhaps that's going too far, Seras. Maybe stick with trying to persuade them.
Alucard and Sebastian laughed to themselves. Seras was going to try and persuade them? How? Little did their mate know they were fully on board. The only reason why she was even thinking about having a second child was because they planted that idea in her head. Walking over to her, Seras smiled timidly at them.
"Look at this onesie." She giggled as she raised it. The onesie's light brown fabric was textured to look like fur and was soft to the touch. The attached mittens had small black claws made out of fabric; the same with the footsies. The hood of the onesie had cute, circular ears with light pink fabric in the center. On the back of the onesie was a nubby little tail sticking out. "It's a little bear onesie. Isn't it super cute?" The blush on her cheeks darkened as she nervously looked elsewhere. "Couldn't you just imagine…a little one…dressed like this?" This was her persuading them? The males thought, purely amused and awed by her effort.
"I most certainly can." Sebastian purred while his eyes simmered with adoration and desire. His mate paused for a moment. Gradually, her gaze met his. It was clear to him that she was unsure if they were on the same page. But there was some form of understanding in her eyes. "We'll talk thoroughly about it later." The demon promised softly. Seras' eyes widened, filled with absolute disbelief. For a long several seconds, she was only capable of standing there and stare at him. "And if it eases your mind at all, perhaps we can get Sir Integra's blessing. But if I was being completely honest, I don't give a damn what she thinks." Out of shock, the Draculina dropped the bear onesie. Am I misunderstanding or is Sebastian on board with having another child? Her chaotic thoughts reached them.
"We'll talk later, Seras." Sebastian laughed with a twinkle in his eye. "Now, why don't you go get what you came here to buy."
"Then can we go to the movie store?" The toddler whined.
"Yes," The demon answered. Coming out of her state of shock, Seras picked up the onesie she had dropped and placed it back on the rack. Later?! Later?! How did he expect her to wait?! She was anxious to talk about it now! Eager and greatly impatient, the Draculina walked away from the baby section. She truly felt like a child on Christmas. She couldn't wait for the discussion! Such a large smile swept across her face. She was practically on the brink of squealing in joy. Behind her, Alucard and Sebastian were snickering at how excited their mate looked. Just how long has she been wanting a second child? Has she thought about it long before they ever brought it up? They couldn't help but wonder.
Entering the makeup aisle, Seras went straight for the nail polish. Her eyes carefully scanned the different brands, the prices, and the many colors that were in stock.
"Hmn," She hummed before she grabbed a bottle of white nail polish. She turned the tiny bottle around, examining the color carefully to be sure it was the right shade of white she wanted. Eventually making up her mind, she placed it in the trolley and then proceeded to look at the other colors. Picking up a bottle of red polish, Seras turned towards Alucard. Without even looking at him, she grabbed his coat and lifted it towards the bottle to see if the two shades matched. Seeing the polish was way lighter than his coat, she made a strange sound. "Ew," She quickly placed the bottle back on the shelf and then grabbed a different shade of red. Again, she held it up to Alucard's coat to see if the shades matched. "Almost," She murmured. His mate grabbed a third shade of red to compare to his coat. A smile shot onto her face along with a look of pride. Putting the third bottle in the trolley, Seras returned the second bottle to the shelf with its brethren.
"Mum, the movie store is going to close soon. Hurry up." The impatient toddler groaned as she watched her mother shop for more nail polish.
"The video store doesn't close until ten. We have plenty of time, Alice." Seras responded as she examined a bottle of black nail polish.
"Learn to be patient." Alucard lectured his daughter. "Impatience won't be tolerated." The child rolled her eyes with a click of her tongue. "That won't be tolerated either."
"Rolling her eyes gets her time in the corner." Seras informed Alucard and Sebastian as she searched the other shades of black nail polish.
"She has rolled her eyes at us several times tonight." Sebastian told Seras. As the mother turned to place black nail polish in the trolley, she frowned and gave her daughter a disappointed look.
"You know how impolite it is to roll your eyes at someone. I am very disappointed in you, Allison." The mother spoke, causing the toddler to frown in sorrow. Mum rarely ever said she was disappointed in me. It broke the child's heart hearing it.
"I'm sorry, Mummy." The little girl whispered as she nervously played with her hands.
"Apologize to your fathers." Seras instructed her as she turned back towards the shelves to look for more nail polish, this time a shade for herself.
"Sorry," Alice whispered to Alucard and Sebastian. "I'll try not to roll my eyes anymore." Was her mother still disappointed? The timid child peeked at her mother from the corner of her eye. Seras was currently grabbing a light shade of purple nail polish. After putting it in the trolley, she started browsing for nail art brushes.
"You are going all out on our manicures, aren't you?" Sebastian chuckled as he watched her in interest.
"Oh, hell yeah." Seras giggled. "You gave me the opportunity, I am taking that opportunity by the throat. You guys are not safe with me and nail polish."
"I want to say that we made a mistake, but I'm far too intrigued." The demon admitted as leaned over the trolley to watch his mate work. Just what did she have in mind?
"How are your nails?" Seras asked as she tossed some thin nail brushes into the trolley. "Do we need a nail file or a cuticle pusher? We'll definitely need a base coat for Alucard so it doesn't stain his nails. And we should probably get a top coat as well so the nail polish doesn't chip." She babbled as she grabbed two different bottles of clear nail polish and placed them in the trolley. Alucard and Sebastian just stared at her in mild amazement. When she didn't receive an answer from them, she glanced over to see them looking at her as if she had just grown two heads. "What?" She asked.
"Nothing, we're just…" Sebastian trailed off as he tried finding the right words so he wouldn't offend her.
"We're just surprised." Alucard finished for the demon. Instead of responding, Seras just stood there and blinked at them with a peculiar look on her face.
"That you…know all of this stuff." Michaelis added.
"I know that I'm not the girliest of girls." Their mate responded with a wave of her hand. "But I do know some girlie things. I think one of the girliest things I like to do is paint nails. It's fun and relaxing." She then picked up a cuticle pusher and a nail file from the shelves. "Now, where did we land with these? Do we need them?" Before the dark haired males could answer, the Draculina hummed and started speaking again. "I don't think we need the nail file." Seras placed the product back on the shelf. "I mean earlier tonight we seemed to have no issues with the length of your nails." Alucard and Sebastian snickered at that comment. In other words, their nails didn't shred her from the inside out while they were fingering her and playing with her clit. "But what about your cuticles?" Again, before either of them could speak, Seras approached them. "Take off your gloves. Let me see."
"I think we gave you too much power." Alucard chuckled as he held his hand out to his fledgling. The Draculina smoothly pulled off his glove to inspect his nails. At the same time, Sebastian was showing her his gloveless hand.
"Holy fu-," She stopped herself from finishing that sentence in front of her daughter. "Your nails are perfect." Their mate's stunned gaze flickered from Alucard's hand to Sebastian's repeatedly, searching for the smallest of imperfections. She found none. "Do you guys have any flaws?!"
"They're crazy, Mama." Allison reminded her. The three adults laughed at the blunt three year old. "And they kill people…but that's probably because they're crazy."
"Michaelis, your mother, and I only kill bad people, my dear daughter." Alucard reminded her.
"Now," Sebastian snickered under his breath. "We haven't killed an innocent soul in quite some time."
"I'm the monster that scares away other monsters." The elder vampire proceeded to reassure his toddler.
"But you're still crazy." Allison added with a nod. The mother smiled at her child. It warmed her heart to see how communicative she was with Alucard and Sebastian. Normally, Alice was extremely shy and didn't say much. But with her fathers, it seemed like she was trying to be more confident, strong, and, occasionally, intimidating. Was she subconsciously trying to impress her fathers? The mother then held her arms out, earning Alucard and Allison's attention.
"I'm sorry, Alucard. Would you mind handing Alice over to me? I would like to talk to her privately for a moment." Seras said. Such worry filled the child's eyes, especially when Alucard handed her right over.
"Am I in trouble, Mum?" Alice asked timidly.
"We'll give you both a moment." Sebastian replied as he turned the trolley. "I'll go checkout and we'll meet you outside." The demon then left the aisle. For a brief moment, Alucard stayed to stare at his two girls. He had no idea what Seras had to discuss with Allison. Even though he had an idea it was about him and Michaelis, he didn't worry too much about it. He admired his mate and a child for a few seconds more before he left them alone to talk.
"I'm sorry that I rolled my eyes, Mummy." Alice immediately apologized, fearing that she was in big trouble with her mother. Why else would her mum want to speak with her alone? "I promise I won't do it again."
"That's not what I want to talk about, baby, though I'm happy to hear that you won't do it again." Seras replied as she shifted her daughter to her hip.
"Are you still disappointed in me?" Her daughter asked softly with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry I made you mad. I don't like it when you're mad at me. It hurts."
"I'm not mad. You did the right thing apologizing to your fathers. But if you break your promise and roll your eyes again, you will be punished." The mother warned her.
"I guess that sounds fair. I don't like it when people break promises. I'll do my very best not to break my promise." The child vowed.
"That's very good to hear, baby girl." Seras smiled. She adored this child so much. She would make an amazing big sister. Would Alice like having a younger sibling? The smile grew on the Draculina's face. Probably. Knowing her daughter, Alice would probably gloat about being a big sister. "We will rent Lilo and Stitch tonight," Seras started. "And we'll watch it. But I think you should invite your fathers." Instead of getting upset or throwing a tantrum, the child simply cocked her head to the side.
"Why?" The toddler asked.
"It's polite and…I think it'll be good for all three of you to spend more time together." The mother explained, but her child only looked more confused.
"Why?" Alice asked.
"Because it will help you get along better with your fathers. It will also help your fathers get to know you better." Seras added.
"Why?" Her daughter asked for a third time. "It's not nice to talk during a movie. How will they get to know me?"
"Well, it's more about spending time with one another. Sometimes sitting quietly with a person is a form of bonding." The mother answered.
"It is? That's weird. Why?" Alice asked.
"Oh, you are definitely three." Seras murmured under her breath as she took a deep breath of air. "Alice, do you remember that you're teaching your fathers to be nice?" The toddler nodded her head.
"Yes," The little girl muttered.
"Well, you can show them what being nice is like by asking them to watch the movie with us." The mother suggested it to her daughter. Finally a large smile appeared on the child's face.
"Yeah!" Her daughter exclaimed. "Oh! And Lilo and Stitch is a Disney movie! Disney helps teach people to be nice!" Suddenly such excitement popped in Allison's eyes and she started bouncing in her mother's arms. "Oh! Oh! Maybe I can start watching all kinds of Disney movies with Alucard and Sebastian, and teach them to be really, really nice! They'll see that being the bad guy isn't good and they'll want to be good guys! Disney can make them less scary, right, Mum?!" The mother smiled warmly at her daughter. She had only wanted her little girl to invite her fathers to this one film, but instead she managed to get Alice excited to watch all Disney movies with her fathers. This really worked out in Seras' favor. Alucard and Sebastian probably won't be thrilled by the idea, but she knew how desperate they were to bond with Alice. Anxious, the child shoved on her mother's arm.
"Mum, set me down! I want to talk to Alucard and Sebastian! Please set me down, Mum!" The toddler begged as she struggled to get free. The Draculina knelt down to set her daughter down. Before the child could run off, Seras took her by the hand. The impatient girl pulled on her mother's hand. "Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" It was amusing to see the child running in place. With a shake of her head, Seras willingly let her child lead her to the front of the store. "Alucard! Sebastian!" The child called for her fathers.
"Shhh," The mother hushed her. "It's impolite to yell in a store. Use your inside voice, baby."
"Alucard! Sebastian!" The child stage whispered. When reaching the front of the store, and not seeing a single person in the checkout lines, the little girl stopped and frowned. "Where did they go?!"
"They're probably waiting outside for us." Seras reminded her. She gingerly pulled on her daughter's hand, getting the toddler to follow her outside. Like her mother said, Alucard and Sebastian were waiting outside. While the demon was bearing two medium sized boxes of cat products, Alucard was holding a single bag. Smiling brightly, the toddler let go of her mother and hopped her way over to the dark haired males. Showing their curiosity, Alucard and Sebastian peered down at their delighted daughter. The sweet child shyly held her hands behind her back as she swayed her body from side to side. There was a deep blush on her cheeks as she smiled so widely that it looked like her face would split in half. What had Seras said that caused this mood to conjure? Their mate laughed as she took one of the boxes from Sebastian to help carry it.
"Let me carry that, Seras." The demon attempted to take the box back, but his mate stepped away from him.
"I can carry it, Malphas." She whispered and then gave him a playful little wink. Hearing her say his name, and while in public, sent a shiver down his spine.

"I'm sorry, kitten." Sebastian apologized as he looked back at his daughter. He gave her a warm smile and earned a smile in return. "What did you have to tell us?" Nervously, the little girl balled her hands into the skirt of her dress as she shifted feet.
"I want to know if you want to watch Lilo and Stitch with me." Alice whispered.
"You won't be bothered if we watched this childish film with you?" Alucard questioned her. "You're fully alright with us being present?"
"I'm inviting you, silly." His daughter laughed. "Don't you want to watch the movie with me and Mummy?" Placing a hand on the top of her head, the No Life King answered.
"We would be honored to join you, young one." Her father purred.
