Kamen Rider Chaldea
Chapter 08 : First Day
Author's Note : Heya, it's been a while. This chapter is a bit longer than usual to make up for it.

"With my Command Spell, I order you...!" = Normal talking.
'I wonder what's for dinner?' = Inner thoughts.
["Senpai!"] = Talking through an earpiece/radio.
A week has passed since the day of the written exam of UA. Ritsuka is currently sitting on his dining table with a bowl of cereal in front of him.
His hand fiddled with the spoon, scooping up the cereal, and then putting it back down. Lost in thought, the last Master of Chaldea kept doing the motion over and over again. Until he noticed something being slipped from under the doorway.
He immediately reacted, grabbing the object, revealing it to be an envelope sealed with UA logo directed at him. He quickly went back to the table and opened it to read the content.
He expected a letter, but what he found inside is some kind of round, metallic object. He sets it on the table, and it suddenly began projecting a hologram.
"Recorded message huh? How fancy." BB commented through his phone. Since nobody else is here, she spoke through the speaker.
The projection fizzled for a second, before forming into the shape of a certain underground hero.
"Hello, my name is Aizawa Shota, some of you might know me as Eraserhead. But right now, I am simply a teacher at UA." The projection immediately introduced himself, still wearing his trademark, sleepy expression as he did so.
"Eraserhead? I think I've heard of that name before..." Ritsuka muttered.
"He's an underground Hero, Senpai. He's also the guy who carried your unconscious body to UA's infirmary after the practical exam." BB informed, as she was the only one there to witness it.
"Ah, I see... I should thank him if I have the chance."
The projection continued talking. "I dislike unnecessary long-winded speeches, so I will just get to the point... Your written exam score is quite average, while the points you got from destroying the villain robots during the practical exam is far from satisfactory."
"I expected this already..." Ritsuka muttered, a weary smile on his face. He's not really surprised by the announcement. He wasted most of the exam fighting the giant robot hijacked by BB after all.
"Hehe, how unlucky. You ready to sign up with the other academies, Senpai?" BB teased with a smirk. Although in reality, she knew that there's more to the exam than just scoring points from destroying those walking scraps.
"Fortunately for you, you've earned yourself enough rescue points." The projection revealed.
"Rescue points...?"
"You might be wondering about the rescue points right now... As the name implies, they're points you can earn by rescuing your fellow students." The projection explained, having expected the boy's reaction beforehand.
"Oh wow. Lucky you, Senpai! You saved a few chumps back then." BB faked being surprised.
"Well, the video footage of you saving them is currently unavailable due to technical issues, but we have testimonies from the students you saved." A photo of the three students that he saved from BB's rampage is now displayed in place of Aizawa's hologram. "Recognize these three?"
"Oh... It's those guys!"
"They made themselves useful after all. I can forgive them for running like cowards, leaving my poor Senpai alone." BB chuckled, satisfied that it went exactly as what she predicted.
"What's more, I personally witnessed you saving that orange-haired girl. So even without their testimonies we already have the evidence needed to grant you those rescue points."
"Is this for real...?" He asked no one in particular. A sense of hope began forming inside him.
"I don't think he's the type to joke about that." BB remarked.
"Wait, what's an examiner doing inside the exam area anyway? I thought they were supposed to monitor us using the cameras?"
The projection stayed silent for a moment, before resuming. "...I assume you are asking about me right now. I was sent there to keep watch over the exam and interfere if necessary."
"Whoa, this guy sure is sharp!"
"It just means that you're easy to read, Senpai."
"Your recklessness made my job easier, but try to value your life more in the future." the projection reprimanded, a stern tone on his voice.
"Hear, hear!" BB shouted, agreeing with the projection. "Someone needs to drill that mindset into your silly head."
Ritsuka scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "That's why I need reliable Kouhais like you and Mash to rein me in." He remarked with a sincere smile.
"Senpai... flattery will get you nowhere with dear ol' me..." She muttered, looking away from the phone screen to hide her face. Ritsuka could've sworn that he saw a trace of a smile on her lips.
BB suddenly turned back to look at the screen, a pout on her lips. "Also, I could do without that Mash inclusion, thank you very much!"
"Haha..."
The projection suddenly interrupted their banter. "So with that being said... Congratulations, Fujimaru Ritsuka. You passed, from now on, you are a student of UA." A somewhat eerie smile crept into the hologram's face. "We will see if you truly have the potential or not... I look forward to see what you can do." The projection abruptly ended, leaving Ritsuka with mouth agape.
"I... I didn't fail?"
"Well duh, this is a Hero academy after all. And no one is more heroic than you, Senpai!"
"Hey, you don't have to butter me up like that, BB."
"I'm serious. They're not simply looking for someone with high combat prowess, they are also looking for someone with the heroic mindset to match."
"...But I'm not-"
"Senpai, please. I don't want to hear one of your 'I'm not a hero' quips today. You think you're not a hero? Fine. Then go and earn yourself that title, the first step, through that dumb school."
The room went silent, neither of them saying anything for a while. Until Ritsuka broke the silence.
"You're supporting my decision to enter that school after all!" He exclaimed with a teasing smirk.
BB sighed, before returning the gesture with a smirk of her own. "If that's what my idiotic Senpai wanted, then who am I to refuse?"
A few months later, the month of April
Ritsuka is currently scurrying the hallways of U.A. academy, trying to find his assigned classroom. He was assigned to class 1-A
["So, according to the data I gathered, of the 42 students admitted to the Hero Course this year, 22 will be placed in class 1-A, while the rest goes to 1-B."]
"Eh? Doesn't that mean 1-B would only have 20 students? Isn't that unbalanced?"
["Indeed, they have the option of splitting the the numbers evenly, with 21 students in each classroom..."]
"I sense a 'but' coming up."
["Hehe, let's just say, a certain student have a rather unusual quality compared to their peers. Probably influencing this unusual decision"]
"And is that certain student happens to be me?"
["Oh my, where did that sense of confidence came from? Of course not! The world doesn't revolve around you, Senpai."]
"Then who is it?"
["You'll meet her soon enough."]
"Her?" Before Ritsuka could inquire further, he arrived at his classroom.
What lies before him is a large door with 1-A painted over it.
["Well, there you go. They weren't lying when they said that the place would be hard to miss."]
"Pretty... grandiose."
["They gotta accommodate for all kinds of students here, Senpai. Reminds you of a certain place where people from all kinds of walks of life gather, huh?"
"...Yeah." He replied with a small smile. It's not much different from Chaldea, where the design is rather large, to allow the larger Servants to walk around more easily.
Before he could open the door, he could hear the sound of footsteps getting closer. Revealing a certain orange-haired girl.
'They encountered each other rather soon...' BB observed from inside the phone.
"Hm? You're... that boy from before..."
"Oh hey, thanks for your help during the exam."
"...Don't mention it. You already paid it back, so we're even."
"I'm Fujimaru Ritsuka, and you are?"
"Marufuji Ritsuko. Looks like we got placed in the same class." Gudako said, looking at the giant door.
'Huh? What a familiar sounding name. I guess coincidence do exist.' Ritsuka thought, a little shocked with their similarities. "Yeah, let's keep it short for now." He said as he opened the door, which was surprisingly easy to open, despite the size.
As he opened the door, all eyes were suddenly upon the two of them. The classroom is already filled with the other students, who are now looking at them curiously.
'Looks like we're rather late...' He cringed a little, not liking the attention given to him. "Heya, guys." He gave them all a small nod as he walked over to find an empty seat.
Gudako followed suit, not uttering a single word as she walked. Yet her expression is rather nonchalant about it, showing that she's not really bothered with the small attention she grabbed.
"Damn, just what we need. More extras." Ritsuka heard someone muttering the words. A blonde boy with spiky hair and mean-looking eyes. He simply decided to ignore it, since making a ruckus on the first day of school would gives off a bad impression.
Ritsuka sat down on an empty seat, with Gudako taking the one next to his seat. 'Seems like most of them are nervous...' Ritsuka could see that most of the students here simply sat on their seat, keeping to themselves. Well, except for a short kid with a funny-looking hair, who kept glancing at the other students. On closer inspection, Ritsuka noticed that the short kid is exclusively looking at the female students with a not-so innocent gaze.
Ritsuka could only shook his head. 'Try being a little more discreet next time.' He doesn't hate perverts, far from it. Because he too, could appreciate the beauty of the female forms. It's just that being a creep isn't the way to do it.
Meanwhile, Gudako rested her head on the table, covering it with her arms. She scanned the room for anyone that might be the guy that she's looking for. So far no real result, aside from that Fujimaru guy beside her, who reminded her of that masked vigilante.
There is something about way that Fujimaru fought that reminded her of that masked vigilante. Fujimaru primarily relied on shields, which was reported on the news as the go-to equipment for that masked vigilante to defend himself from the various Heroes trying to apprehend him. Plus, his voice somewhat resembles the masked vigilante.
So currently, this Fujimaru is her primary suspect for now. She'd try to keep this to herself, as she doesn't want to blow Fujimaru's cover if he really was that masked vigilante.
Deep in thought, Gudako missed the footsteps heading towards her seat. "So it really is you, kero!" She heard a feminine voice exclaimed.
Gudako raised her head to face the one who said that. Revealing it to be that frog-like girl she encountered during the practical exam, now dressed in the same UA uniform as her. "Oh, hey. We meet again..."
"I'm Asui Tsuyu, it's nice to know that we're now classmates." The now introduced Asui said happily. Feeling a little better that someone she recognized is also here.
Gudako nodded. "Marufuji Ritsuko, nice to meet you, Asui-san." Gudako honestly doesn't like socializing that much, but being an ass towards someone who seemed nice like Asui wouldn't sit well with her conscience.
"Just call me Tsuyu-chan, that's what my friends called me. You can also call me that, kero." Asui insisted, extending a handshake.
A small smile formed on Gudako's lips. Feeling at ease with Asui's friendliness. "You can just call me Ritsuko then, Tsuyu-chan." Gudako accepted the handshake. She avoided using her old Gudako nickname, which she earned during her childhood, she was quite the troublemaker back then.
"It's almost time for class, so let's talk later, Ritsuko-chan." Asui said, going back to her seat.
Meanwhile, the blonde boy from earlier felt annoyed with the chatters. "Damn annoying, the lot of them." He muttered the word, putting his feet on the table to let out his frustration.
A certain bespectacled boy witnessed this, and walked over to the blonde boy to reprimand him. "You! Stop doing that! You're not supposed to put your feet on the table!"
At the same time, the door were suddenly opened, revealing Izuku Midoriya standing there. The green-haired boy could only bemoan his fate, getting placed in the same class as his childhood bully and the scary glasses guy from the practical exam.
No one really noticed Izuku's entrance. Everyone's attention are currently focused on the two bickering students.
"Huh?" Bakugo looked at the guy who dared to confront him. "Who the hell even are you?" He asked, not even trying to move his legs from the table. A challenging look on his face.
The glasses-wearing boy adjusted his glasses, realizing that he haven't introduced himself yet. "I am Iida Tenya, from Somei Private Academy."
"Somei? Is that some elite school?" Bakugo said, a mocking sneer on his face. "Well whatever, all the more fun when I crush you!"
"C-Crush?!" Iida looked a little surprised at the sudden harsh words. "You! Are you really trying to become a Hero?"
"The million dollar question..." Gudako muttered.
["With that kind of attitude? I'm sure he's not trying to become one with an altruistic reason."]
Once again, Ritsuka could only shook his head at the attitude of his soon-to-be classmates, until he noticed the green-haired boy standing near the door. "Ah, hey! Midoriya-kun!" He waved at the boy.
"Fujimaru-kun! Y-You're here too!" Midoriya said, happy to know that someone he knows is also here. Someone that's NOT Bakugo at least.
Everyone's attention is now shifted to the boy in front of the door. The two arguing boys included.
'The hell...? Deku actually knows that guy?' Bakugo thought, not recalling ever meeting that plain, dark-haired boy that Izuku just greeted. Bakugo doesn't like to admit it, but he's been around Izuku for a long time, and he knows that Izuku got no real friend of his own. So the fact that Izuku knows someone that Bakugo couldn't recognize surprised him a bit.
"You're..." Iida muttered, recognizing Izuku from the exam. He walked over to Izuku, trying to greet him. "Good morning! I'm..."
"Iida Tenya, right? We've heard it already." Ritsuka interrupted, getting in the way.
Iida narrowed his eyes, vaguely recognizing Ritsuka. "Ah, you're that loudmouth from the orientation."
"Y-Yup. That's me..." Ritsuka's eyes twitched a bit hearing the nickname, remembering the embarrassing moments from the orientation. 'Thanks a lot, BB...' He could hear BB's giggles from his earpiece.
"Do you need something from me?" Iida asked, unable to move any further with Ritsuka blocking the way.
"Sorry, but I'm not letting you vent your frustration at Midoriya-kun again."
Iida seems taken aback by the accusation. "Me? Nonsense! I am here to express my gratitude to him! Thanks to him, my eyes are now opened!"
'A complete 180...' Seeing the change in demeanor from Iida, Ritsuka moved out from the way, letting him pass. "I see... Good to know then."
Iida then walked over to Midoriya. Praising the boy for his heroic and selfless actions during the practical exam, even admitting that Midoriya is a better hero than himself.
"Huh... It seems I missed quite the tale." Ritsuka muttered, going back to his seat.
["Once again, that just shows how the world doesn't revolve around you, Senpai."]
"Ah! That curly hair!" Suddenly, a girl with brown hair chimed in from behind Midoriya.
It's the same girl that Midoriya met and saved during the practical exam, Ochaco Uraraka. She expressed her relief at seeing the boy passing the practical exam even with his serious injury received during said exam.
"Ah, n-no need to thank me..." Midoriya said, averting his eyes with a small blush.
Noticing the interaction, BB smirked. ["Hehe.. Now that's youth for you. Remember Senpai, you can't go pining after that brown haired-girl now. Your best pal greenie over there is clearly smitten with her."]
"I never intended to, BB. Don't start accusing me with weird stuff." Ritsuka whispered to his phone, a little irritated with the sudden accusation.
["Well then! As a show of good faith, why don't you show him how to woo a girl? That's your expertise, right?"]
Hearing the comment, Ritsuka chuckled. "Ha, I wish! I'm just as clueless as the average boy."
BB shook her head. 'You're clueless alright, if you still fail to realize what you've accomplished so far.' BB thought, remembering her many 'rivals' in Chaldea.
Meanwhile, Gudako silently observed Ritsuka from her seat, curious about what he's muttering about.
She also noticed the loud blonde boy from earlier glaring dagger at the green-haired boy at the door. 'Geez, who went and pissed on his cereal?'
Meanwhile, Uraraka kept talking, wondering about the class activities for the first day, while Izuku had to look away, trying to suppress his embarrassment from being so close to a girl.
"If you want to go make friends, do it somewhere else." A voice suddenly cuts in.
"Huh?" Izuku turned around to see... no one behind him, or at least that's what he thought at first. He looked down to see a scruffy-looking man inside a yellow sleeping bag on the floor.
The man opened the zipper on the sleeping-bag and stood up, walking in front of the class.
"I'm Aizawa Shota, your homeroom teacher." He introduced himself. His expression sleepy as always.
Ritsuka widened his eyes. "It's that teacher..." He whispered to BB.
["What are the odds?"] BB said with a small chuckle. Already knowing this little tidbit of info. The previous day, she managed to easily hack the UA's database to get the list of assigned teachers and students, though she's a little disappointed that the network security here didn't improve at all ever since the practical exam. Or maybe it did improve a little. Honestly, she couldn't really tell, you're either hackable or unhackable, that's how it is to BB.
Looking at the unenthusiastic teacher, Gudako sighed in relief. She'd rather have a calm and collected homeroom teacher than a hot-blooded and loud one.
Aizawa pulled a blue gym uniform from his sleeping bag. "This might be sudden, but put this on and go out onto the fields." He instructed them, not giving them time to question him.
Gudako nodded approvingly. "Hm, short and to the point."
The entirety of class 1-A is now in the field, wearing their blue UA gym uniform. Aizawa told them that they'd be having a Quirk Asssessment Test right here and now. Causing some students to exclaim in shock.
["Heh, I'm sure he'd give them the motivation they needed in a bit."] BB muttered to herself, having read about Aizawa's previous homeroom records.
Ritsuka wanted to ask what she meant by that, but decided against it to avoid people getting suspicious.
'A Quirk test? I wonder if I'm allowed to participate...' Gudako dryly thought, she's a Quirkless girl that somehow managed to enter UA after all.
Uraraka tried asking about the entrance ceremony or the orientation that a new high school students would normally experiences, but was quickly shot down when Aizawa told the class that a Hero doesn't have time for such leisure events.
He then explained about the freedom in UA, where the teachers are allowed to choose the method to teach their class. Unrestricted Quirk usage for the physical test is what he chose.
He wanted to use softball throwing as a demonstration. Bakugo, who was the top of the practical exams were told to go first. With the blast from his Quirk added to the pitch, he managed to reach 705,2 meters, far surpassing his previous record of 67 meters in middle school, where he's not allowed to use his Quirk.
Aizawa then warned them, that the one in last place on the test would be punished with expulsion. Some tried protesting, but he simply reminded them that he's free to choose his method of teaching, including choosing which punishment to give to them. "Welcome to UA's Hero course!" He said, a wicked grin on his face.
"Yeah, I don't feel welcomed at all." Ritsuka muttered to himself.

First Test - 50 meter Sprint.
For the first test, the goal is simple, reach the finish line as fast as possible. 2 students would be timed simultaneously for each round. The average Quirkless person could finish it in about 7 seconds, and getting 6 seconds and below without using any Quirk could be considered impressive.
Thanks to their Quirks, some of the students of Class 1-A could finish it in about 5 seconds. With Iida even finishing in 3,04 seconds using his Engine Quirk.
Ritsuka waited patiently for his turn. Watching his new classmates doing their test to pass the time. His friend Midoriya managed to get 7,02 seconds.
'Looks like he didn't focus on training his speed.' Ritsuka observed with crossed arms. 'Well, I'm sure he'd do better in the other tests. So I should just worry about myself for now.'
["Nervous?"] BB asked. Trying to break the uncomfortable silence.
"A little bit, yeah." He replied, saying it quietly to avoid attracting unwanted attention.
["Any plan to use your so called Quirk?"] She asked again, referring to the Gandr that he could use.
"Maybe not for this test. Trying to conserve my energy a bit."
["Ah, so you're just gonna rely on your legs to carry you to victory then."] She said with a giggle. ["Well, I'm sure your trainings on Chaldea would be more than enough to make up for not having a Quirk."]
"You think so? He said, not entirely convinced.
"Fujimaru, we're being called. It's our turn now." A voice suddenly interrupted. Ritsuka turned his head to see Gudako walking this way.
"Alright. I'm coming." He followed her to the starting line.
["Heh, I'll be cheering for you then, Senpai. Show them the potential of an average person."]
Ritsuka said nothing to reply, a small smile on his lips as he walked to the starting line alongside Gudako.
Both students took their starting position, waiting for the assistant robot to announce the start of the sprint.
"READY..."
'Alright, just gotta imagine the punishment from Shishou if I didn't meet her expectations...' Ritsuka said to himself, his eyes looking straight at the finish line with fiery determination.
"SET..."
'Here we go...'
"GO!"
Just like during the practical exam. Ritsuka sprinted as if his life depended on it, his fear of getting punished by his merciless mentor serving as a source of motivation.
And in no time at all, his trained legs carried him to the finish line.
"5,38 seconds." The assistant robot announced.
Hearing the result, he had to stop his own mad dash, kicking up dusts as he stopped himself.
"5,46 seconds." The assistant robot announced again, this time for Gudako.
"What the hell? Am I seeing things? They're not using any Quirk, right?"
"Probably not, and they're even faster than me!"
"What manly results! Alright, I won't lose to them!"
"You did well, Fujimaru-kun!"
"Nice one Ritsuko-chan, kero!"
Murmurs from their classmates could be heard, commenting on their performance. Ritsuka didn't really hear them because he's busy catching his breath.
Gudako walked over to the boy. A neutral expression on her face. "You're fast."
"Thanks, you're pretty fast too." He said, trying to regain his breath. He offered her a fistbump.
The girl didn't immediately respond, not expecting the gesture. She smirked and accepted it, bumping her fist with the boy. "As someone with a similar name, it seems we also have similar performance." She stated with a chuckle.
"Haha, looks like coincidences like this do happen at times, huh?"
"We will just have to see the results of the other tests then, Fujimaru." She said, joining her classmates on the other side of the field.
Meanwhile, Aizawa watched the two students from afar. An analytical look on his face.
l===l===l===l
The other tests went by as quickly as the first one. With Ritsuka and Gudako scoring above average for each one. They may not be the top scorers by any means, but they still did better than most students even without using Quirk.
Ritsuka sat on the field, getting some brief rest. "That Marufuji girl sure is amazing. She scored pretty high without using her Quirk so far."
["She was rather infamous during her middle school years for her physical prowess. She probably participated in more fights than classes."] BB revealed.
"You're kidding."
["Not at all. Some calls her Fiery Ritsu, thanks to her blazing orange hair dancing around like a brilliant flame during her many fights."]
"How did she got roped into so many fights?"
["Well, she looks like a frail little girl to anyone not familiar with her. Hoodlums tends to think that she'd be an easy prey. Her tendency to wear a hoodie covering her hair also played a part, they usually fail to recognize who they're messing with until it's too late."]
"...Why do you know so much about her anyway?"
["Unlike you, I did my research. All to make sure my Senpai is not making friends with some weirdos. BB-chan will always got your back!"] She said, giving him a peace sign.
Ritsuka could only sigh at her stalker-like behavior. "Yeah, yeah. You're dependable as always, BB."
["Hehe, and don't you forget it!"]

Final Test - Softball Throw
Ritsuka is now holding the ball on his hand. Getting ready to throw it. 'I have to use my Quirk now, so people won't get suspicious...'
He gripped the ball hard. 'Here goes, don't fail me now, accuracy training!" He threw the ball as far as possible and with a decent height. Giving him some time to prepare the next step as the ball falls.
He held out his right hand like a gun and the other one stabilizing it. He gathered energy on the tip of his right hand, slowly swirling it into a ball of dark energy. He aimed carefully at the falling ball.
"Gandr." He muttered, releasing the swirling energy towards the ball. It flies at an incredible speed, catching up to the ball. Not satisfied with just that, Ritsuka fired several more shots, trying to improve his chance of hitting the ball with his Gandr.
One of the shots managed to hit the ball, sending it flying even further thanks to the added momentum. After some time, the ball landed safely on the ground, a little burned and damaged because of the shot, but still intact.
"238 meters." Aizawa announced, holding out his phone for the students to see the numbers on it.
"Uh... I'm allowed to do it like that, right?" Ritsuka asked nervously.
Aizawa did not immediately answer. Staring at the boy for a moment. "You're either incredibly accurate with your shots, or just incredibly lucky." He commented with an exasperated sigh. "Fine, I'll allow it."
"Alright!" Ritsuka pumped his fist in celebration. "Thanks, sensei."
"Next, Marufuji Ritsuko." Aizawa called out to the girl, who lazily picked up a ball that was provided beforehand.
She stared at the ball on her hand briefly, before looking at her teacher. "Sensei, I'm supposed to use my Quirk for this test, right?" She asked.
"Yes." Aizawa answered directly to the point, knowing exactly about the girl's circumstance.
"That means I'm allowed to use the powers granted naturally by my body here, right?" She asked once again.
"Stop asking so many damn questions and just throw the damn ball already!" Bakugo protested from the sideline, getting impatient. But the girl ignored the loud blonde, waiting for the teacher's confirmation.
"You're allowed to do anything in your power to make sure the ball reach the furthest distance, just as long as it's not from an outside help." Aizawa clarified, looking forward to see what the girl would do with the freedom granted.
"Alright then..." Gudako took a deep breath, and gripped the ball with all of her strength. She threw the ball with absolutely everything she got. Aiming to maximize the distance and height that it could reach. She prioritized the height a bit more to buy time for the next step.
Immediately afterwards, she sprinted towards the ball before it hit the ground, kicking up dusts on her wake.
"What the hell?!"
"She ran after it!"
"Is... is this even allowed?"
The rest of the students went into a frenzy. Not expecting her to go after the ball.
["Hee, so this is the solution she came up with."] BB observed, stroking her chin.
"Solution? Is it related to her Quirk?" Ritsuka asked, feeling curious about the girl's action.
Hearing that, BB could only chuckle. ["Oh, absolutely. Let's just say, with her by your side. You'd have an easier time convincing the masses that a certain group of people can become a Hero too."] BB said, already knowing about Gudako's Quirk... or her lack of one.
Back with Gudako, she's close to catching up with the ball, her incredible speed allowing her to do so before it reached the ground.
After catching up, she briefly stopped to gauge the ball's position. Her sharp eyes locking on to it. She then jumped with her back turned from the ball and performed an overhead kick, sending the ball even further than when she had thrown it with her hand.
She landed on her back with a thud. Dirtying her uniform a little in the process. But right now, she doesn't really care about that. She stood up and dusted herself off. A few seconds later, the ball landed on the ground quite some distance away from Gudako.
"197 meters." Aizawa once again, showed the results on his phone to the students.
Not wasting any time, Gudako simply walked over to rejoin her classmates, a neutral look on her face once again.
"Hey there, I noticed that you never used your Quirk for the tests. Why's that? Are you not worried about being expelled?" One of her classmates, Mina Ashido asked.
"...Quirk?" She repeated. Looking at Ashido with raised eyebrows. "Don't have one." She nonchalantly revealed.
"Huh?" Ashido couldn't believe what she's hearing right now. "Oh, you got me there. It's okay, we're all friends here. You can tell us about your Quirk."
"Never said I was joking." Gudako stated flatly. No humor on her voice.
"WHAAAA?!" The rest of her classmates shouted in unison.
["As her classmates, they're going to know about this sooner or later anyway."] BB observed with an amused expression.
"So that's what you meant..." Ritsuka nodded to himself. Finally understanding what BB meant. "You gotta stop speaking so cryptically, BB." He complained.
["Heh, where's the fun in that, Senpai? Your confused face is quite the sight to see, you know?"]
While everyone else is either surprised or curious about the Quirkless girl. A certain boy didn't feel the same way.
'Another Quirkless loser, in my class? What the fuck is with this school?!' A certain hot-headed blonde fumed inside. Not realizing that his childhood friend, Deku is no longer Quirkless. "Someone gotta teach these losers their place..." He muttered, hatred clear on his voice and glare.
I tried my best to focus on the Ritsu duo more on this chapter, just to make it less of a rehash of the same chapter/episode from MHA. What do you think?
I'm also trying to make both Ritsu have their own distinct personality, while also remaining the same at their core. Time will tell if I'd succeed or not.
So yeah, next chapter will probably be about Bakugo confronting Gudako about her lack of Quirk. Look forward to it.
I'll see you next time.
