January 22

Miami-Dade University Hospital

Sunlight shone through the window of Bobby's hospital room, illuminating the many baskets of flowers and gifts that were on every counter and table in the room. The warmth of the sunlight prompted Bobby to open his eyes, but not move. The sounds of beeping caused him to sigh.

"Take it easy," Horatio, who had spent the last two days gravitating between work and the hospital so that his nephew wouldn't be alone, said in a gentle voice as he walked over to the bed and sat in a chair beside the bed. "You had your spleen removed, tubes put in your lungs, several broken ribs, a broken left leg, head lacerations, dehydration, and hypothermia."

Bobby nodded and sighed as he briefly looked over all the IV's in his arms and good legs, "I've also got bruising on my neck from when Ray grabbed me by the collar," he spoke softly, gently touching the blue gown that covered his body. "Ray said something about Brazil."

Horatio frowned, but nodded and watched as Bobby coughed, "Do you want some ice chips?" he asked in a concerned voice as he grabbed a pitcher and a cup off the table. "They'll help."

"Please," Bobby replied softly. "I remember being sort of awake when you visited before."

Horatio nodded and helped Bobby drink the ice chips, "When you're feeling up to it, you'll need to talk about what happened," he explained in a concerned voice. "For the investigation."

"I heard you saying to someone that Bosco and his family were still here," Bobby spoke in a weak voice, suddenly feeling tired. "I feel bad because I know they just want to go home."

Horatio sighed, watching as Bobby slowly flexed his fingers and the toes on his good leg, "I'm just checking to make sure I didn't lose any limbs," Bobby explained softly. "It's a habit..."

"You don't need to be thinking of that right now," Horatio spoke softly. "It was a long time ago."

Just as Bobby was preparing to go back to sleep, the door slid open and Sully came in with a bag of items and with BJ and Adam at his heels, "Hi," Sully said in a kind voice. "How are you?"

Adam quickly ran over to the bed, "Do all those owwies hurt, Daddy?" he asked softly.

"A little, but I'm on medicine so they don't," Bobby replied softly. "Come up here with me."

Adam carefully climbed on to the bed and Bobby put an arm around him, "BJ, come be with me," Bobby instructed softly, needing to hold both of his sons. "I've missed you guys."

BJ nodded and silently climbed up on the other side of the bed, taking great care not to mess with the machines as he did so, "Thank you for bringing my sons to me," Bobby spoke softly.

Sully nodded as he approached the bed and set the bag in a chair, "I brought you some things from home," he explained in a kind voice. "Bosco and Danielle are keeping your house clean."

"I know," Bobby replied softly. "I also know that I'm all over the news and newspapers."

Sully cringed as Bobby gestured to a rolled up newspaper that was on the portable table, "I've been in and out of it and I heard people talking about it," Bobby explained softly as he sighed.

"Lots of people have been in and out in the last couple of days," Horatio observed calmly.

Bobby sighed and gently stroked Adam and BJ's hair with his hands, "I'm sorry, I'm really tired," he spoke softly, not wanting his boys to leave. "Can BJ and Adam stay for a little while?"

"I'll drive them home later," Horatio commented, nodding to Sully. "If you need to leave."

Sully shrugged, "I actually came to relieve you, Lieutenant Caine, if you want," he offered.

"Uncle Horatio, you should rest," Bobby spoke softly. "You've done so much for me."

Horatio nodded, "Maybe take Marisol out to lunch," Bobby spoke softly. "She'd like that."

"I'll be back in a little while," Horatio replied, eager to spend time with his fiancé'. "Oh, Bobby, you should probably know that Marisol and I became engaged a couple of days ago..."

Bobby smiled, "Congratulations," he spoke softly, indicating that he was getting very tired.

Horatio smiled as he left the room and Sully took a seat beside Bobby's bed to keep watch.

Downtown Miami Mall Complex

"Can I take your order, please?" Danielle heard a tired, but familiar voice say from behind.

Danielle turned and was surprised to see Ryan standing behind the counter wearing a uniform shirt and hairnet, "Officer Wolfe?" she asked in a confused voice. "What are you doing here?"

"Earning a living," Ryan replied in a tired voice. "I also have a job at another restaurant."

Danielle frowned, "The Crime Lab hasn't cleared you to work?" she asked in a worried voice.

"I still have Tommy's charges on me even though I saved some lives," Ryan replied softly.

Danielle nodded, forcing herself to hide her concern as David and Ellie came over to the counter, "Okay, we'll take a couple of Big Mac combos and a CBO combo," she said in a kind voice as she skimmed the menu. "We'll also take some apple pies and some Happy Meals."

Ryan nodded as he inputted the order and Danielle quickly slipped Ryan two twenty dollar bills, "I'd also like a couple of chicken wraps," she spoke softly. "I'm currently eating for two."

"Oh, congratulations," Ryan replied in a kind voice as he calculated the correct change and handed it to Danielle. "Here's your change and your order should be ready very soon."

Danielle smiled as she put the money in her purse, "Thank you," she replied kindly.

"Mom, can Ellie and I go play in the PlayPlace?" David asked in an eager voice. "I'm healed."

Danielle sighed, "You can play in the ball pit, but I don't want you climbing, okay?" she asked in a kind voice as she followed David and Ellie to the play place. "Ellie, be careful when climbing."

David and Ellie nodded and Danielle watched them play, knowing Ryan would call out when her order was ready. As Ellie began to climb to the top, however, a boy suddenly shoved past her and Ellie lost her balance and fell into the ball pit just as David was about to climb in.

"Ellie!" Danielle cried out anxiously as she hurried to the ball pit. "Are you okay?"

The boy quickly climbed down and Danielle glared at him, "Why did you do that?" she asked.

"Hey, blondie, don't bother my son," Tommy Wolfe said as he suddenly came over to them.

Danielle frowned and ignoring him, she turned her attention to Ellie, "I'm fine, Mommy," Ellie replied as David climbed into the ball pit. "That boy thought I was going too slow for him."

"Emilio, let's go," Tommy said in a gruff voice as he shoved Danielle aside. "Play time's...OUCH!"

Angry at the man shoving his mom, David quickly bit Tommy's hand as it extended and Tommy immediately reached for him, but Danielle blocked his way, "Move!" Tommy shouted as he pushed Danielle and she hit the side of the structure. "Emilio, let's get out to the bus!"

There was a flurry of noise and Ryan suddenly rushed into the play area, blocking Tommy's escape route as he pulled out a phone to dial 9-1-1, "My shoulders and my back," Danielle gasped in an anxious voice as she quickly sat on the edge of the play area. "Ohh."

"Dad, what did you do?!" Emilio shouted anxiously as he quickly climbed up to the top.

Miami-Dade Crime Lab Morgue

Swallowing hard, John silently entered the morgue and looked around, unsure of where Edward's body would be held as long as the Crime Lab had custody of it. He walked over to the table and silently touched it, wondering if the man had laid on the metal table at some point.

"Can I help you with something?" Alexx asked as she came into the lab. "This is private."

John sighed softly as he turned around, "I'd like to see Edward Addison's body, please," he spoke in a soft voice that caused Alexx to calm down. "I have some things to say to him."

Alexx nodded and taking her keys out, she silently walked over to a drawer, unlocked it, and slid Edward's body out for John to see, "He looks so small," John spoke in a quiet voice. "Wow."

Silence filled the room and John sighed, "I've hated you since I was six years old and you raped me while you were on duty and had me on that student ride along that one day," he spoke softly, gazing at Edward with tears in his eyes. "I told Doc what you did and his compassion gave me the courage to tell Mom about it. You did it again when I was held hostage in that creepy mansion and in that van, but Doc saved me again and died for me. Miss Wolfe saved the lives of my mom, me, and the man who has been more like a father to me than you ever were before Mom took David and I away from you. You thought you had the last laugh when you hurt Mom and she became pregnant with Ellie, but she's a very strong woman and overcame that pain.."

Tears appeared in Alexx's eyes, but she remained silent, "I don't know what happened when you held Mom in that creepy cabin, but she has always been a hero to me," John spoke, his tone emotional. "You caused a lot of pain to people in life and I hope you can deal with that in death, as nobody has to live with your actions but you. I've spent a lot of time in counseling and I found it really hard to forgive, but I know I need to do it. I forgive you for everything, Edward."

John closed his eyes and clasped his hands together as he bowed his head briefly, allowing tears to fall from his face as he did so. The door slowly opened and Bosco silently entered the room.

Bosco silently walked over to John and gently gave him a hug from behind, "I got your note," he spoke in a gentle voice. "I told your mom I'd hang out and we'd meet them later on."

"Okay," John replied softly, deeply shaken by what he had just done. "I'm feeling shaky."

Bosco nodded and gently led John away from the drawer, "Let's go get you some lunch," he spoke in a soft voice as Alexx closed the drawer and locked it. "It's a good thing you did."

John nodded and remained quiet as Bosco led him out of the morgue, leaving Alexx alone.

Miami-Dade Crime Lab

"Horatio, do you have a moment?" Rick asked in an official voice as he came into the office where Horatio was silently working on the computer trying to order an elevator installation for Bobby's mansion so that mobility would be easier for his nephew when he was released.

Horatio nodded as he looked up from his computer, "I talked to the Chief and the PD and Crime Lab are both getting a new employee as of today," Rick stated in an official voice. "It's already been cleared through the Chief and both the lab and PD will be able to utilize their services."

"A new employee?" Horatio asked in a concerned voice. "Mister Wolfe will get off suspension."

Rick sighed, "I believe he will eventually, but why don't you come meet the new employee in the meantime?" he suggested in a stern voice. "I want to go visit Bobby in a little while."

Quickly finalizing the order for the following day, Horatio nodded, got up from the desk, and followed Rick through the hallway. He was surprised when Rick stopped at an open door bearing the sign Emily Wolfe, Department Psychologist, "Rick?" Horatio asked softly.

Rick, however, didn't reply and instead knocked on the door, smiling when Emily looked up from a box of folders that she was loading into a filing cabinet, "Hello," she spoke softly.

"I see that the personnel files were all delivered to your office," Rick said in an encouraging voice as Horatio surveyed the room and saw a laptop, a few books in a bookshelf, and the typical furniture of a desk, couch, and a few chairs. "Did the Chief bring you the contract?"

Emily nodded and sighed as she quickly pulled her sleeve over the shunt in her arm, as she noticed Horatio was looking at it curiously, "Everything's signed and locked away," she replied in a nervous voice. "I'm taking appointments immediately and I also welcome walk-ins."

Rick nodded and Horatio cleared his throat, "Rick, I'd like to talk to Miss Wolfe alone for a few moments," Horatio spoke quietly. "Thank you for introducing me to our new psychologist."

Rick nodded and left the office and Horatio quickly closed the door, "Miss Wolfe, would you mind if I asked for a few moments of your time?" Horatio asked softly. "I need to talk."

Emily nodded and Horatio silently sat on the couch, "I wanted to talk about Bobby and how I've been feeling since he was found," Horatio spoke softly. "I visited him earlier today and I am surprised at how much damage Raymond did to him in two days. I almost broke into tears."

"That's perfectly normal, Lieutenant Caine," Emily spoke softly. "Emotions are very human."

Horatio sighed, "It made me think back to when I went up to New York a long time ago to visit my sister, Adria, and came across a terrible scene at her apartment," he explained in a distressed voice, well aware that he hadn't spoken of Adria for a long time. "Her apartment was damaged, blood was everywhere, and my sister lay dead in the middle of her kitchen."

"I'm sorry," Emily replied softly, watching as Horatio sighed. "I can't imagine how you felt..."

Swallowing hard, Horatio nodded, "I also saw my nephew, Robert Horatio Caine, there and laying in a pool of blood, but he was still alive," he spoke in a shaken voice. "Once Bobby was recovering in the hospital, I petitioned for and won custody of him because nobody knew of his biological father's whereabouts. I raised Bobby in Miami until he wanted to go to New York University because there was a good policing program there, but we kept in touch..."

"You worried about your nephew a lot, didn't you?" Emily asked softly. "When he wasn't here?"

Nodding, Horatio massaged his forehead, "Bobby was an adult and there was very little I could do, but I did hear things about his wife from Rick on occasion," he explained in a concerned voice. "All I could do was hope that Bobby had friends at the NYPD who could help him."

"They did," Emily spoke softly. "Bobby's now here with you and he's got BJ and Adam here."

Horatio sighed, "Fred Yokas killed Maggie and Amanda died from suicide by cop," he commented in a distressed voice. "Even though Fred Yokas is dead, I still feel responsible because I should have known what was going on. I should have had eyes in New York."

"Lieutenant Caine, nobody can have eyes everywhere," Emily spoke softly. "It's not possible."

Horatio nodded, "Even Victims Assistance doesn't have eyes everywhere without a lot of help from those who are willing to speak up for themselves," Emily explained softly. "You and your nephew are so much alike in a lot of ways and you're both very reluctant to ask for help for yourselves. I've noticed you two have no problem helping others, but don't help yourselves."

"I...you have very accurate observations," Horatio replied softly. "About both Bobby and I."

Emily nodded and Horatio sighed, "I would like to talk about this some more, but I'm due to meet with Marisol to plan our wedding," Horatio spoke softly. "Can I schedule another...?"

"Of course," Emily replied in a calm voice as she logged on to her laptop. "Date and time?"

Horatio sighed, "In a couple of days during work hours," he replied softly. "Please."

Before Emily could reply, Horatio's phone went off and he quickly left to answer it.

Downtown Miami Mall Complex

"Mrs. Boscorelli?" Eric asked softly as he approached the play structure where Danielle was sitting with her arms around David and Ellie. "My name is Eric Delko and I'm a Crime..."

Danielle nodded and winced, "You helped John when he first came to Miami by himself to try and find Ellie," she replied softly. "He told me you were very kind to him and Emily Yokas."

"Yes, I was," Eric replied in a concerned voice. "Witnesses said that a man shoved you?"

Danielle nodded, "My back, shoulders, and neck hurt a little bit," she replied softly. "I just want to be sure that David, Ellie, and my unborn child are okay. I could smell booze on the man..."

"EMS is en route," Eric replied in a concerned voice. "I think one of the workers called them."

Danielle nodded and watched as Ryan talked to Frank, "Ryan Wolfe was so helpful and called for help once he saw what the man was doing," she spoke in a shaken voice. "David bit the man and I was shocked at first, but then I found it a relief. I don't know how I'll tell Maurice."

Eric nodded and looked over at Tommy Wolfe, who was sitting at a table with a confused looking Emilio, "Mommy, can we have lunch yet?" Ellie asked softly, looking up at Danielle.

"It's at the counter," Danielle replied softly. "I would go and get it, but I'm very sore."

Nodding, Eric quickly walked over to the counter, got the tray of food, and returned to the play area, "I need to process David's teeth first," Eric explained as he set the tray on an empty table.

"Process?" David asked in a wary voice, giving Danielle a scared look. "Will it hurt?"

Eric shook his head and held up the kit he was carrying, "I just swab your teeth with a cotton swab to get Tommy Wolfe's skin out of your teeth," he explained gently. "It won't hurt."

David nodded and Eric gloved up, opened his kit, got a swab out, and gently swabbed David's teeth, his eyes wide when a tooth fell to the floor, "Looks like you just lost a baby tooth," Eric announced as he picked the tooth up off the floor and put it in an evidence bag. "Lucky."

"Do...do I have to show the paramedics my back?" Danielle asked shakily. "I'm very shy..."

Eric shook his head and Tommy scoffed, "Can my son and I go, please?" he asked gruffly as he stood up and helped Emilio stand. "It's bad enough seeing Ryan here, but to deal with that..."

"ENOUGH!" Frank shouted in an angry voice. "Should I nail you for assault and drunk and disorderly? I suppose the assault charge would have to be left up to Mrs. Boscorelli."

Eric frowned as Danielle slowly stood up and walked David over to the table where Ellie was already eating, "Are you okay?" he asked in a concerned voice. "You look like you're in pain."

"My kids are hungry, so I need to make sure they eat," Danielle replied softly. "No offense."

Tommy swore, "My kid never even got lunch, you blonde tramp," he hissed. "Why don't...?"

"Dad, you said a bad word," Emilio spoke in a worried voice. "Can we please go home?"

Danielle sighed and cringed as she sat down, "I think I'll go home and lie down on a heating pad once the kids are finished eating," she spoke shakily. "We took a bus here, so I need to call..."

Suddenly, an ambulance pulled up in the parking lot and Danielle sighed, quickly covering her face as paramedics rushed into the restaurant that had been cleared out, "We heard from dispatch that a lady had been injured in an altercation," one of the paramedics reported.

"My mommy got shoved into the play place," David spoke up, his mouth full of food.

The paramedics quickly hurried over to Danielle, "If there's a bruise, I can take a picture of it for evidence against your attacker," Eric explained in a concerned voice. "It will help build a case."

Nodding, Danielle painstakingly removed her shirt and covered her chest, revealing a large, colorful bruise forming across her back and shoulders. Eric quickly got his camera and snapped a few different angles of the bruises. He then watched as the paramedics examined Danielle.

"What about that brat who bit me?" Tommy snapped as he held up his hand, revealing a bite mark. "That little brat bit me when I tried to get that slow little girl out of my son's way."

Eric sighed and walked over to Tommy, quickly taking a picture of the bruise as he ignored Tommy's scowl, "Use your brain, CSI, or someone might just have to pop some bullets in your brain to wake it up," Tommy spoke in a dark voice, suddenly feeling a headache coming on.

Ryan and Frank both looked concerned, but Eric shrugged, "Do I have to decide what to do about this right now?" Danielle asked in a concerned voice. "The man's not in his right mind."

"I can take Emilio home since I know where he lives and I think Tommy could use a little time to sober up in the drunk tank," Ryan spoke up in a concerned voice. "That would be best."

Frank nodded, quickly cuffed Tommy, and forced him outside, "Uncle Ryan?" Emilio asked.

Ryan nodded and Emilio stood, "I'm going to take you home," Ryan explained gently. "Okay?"

Emilio nodded and Ryan silently took his hand as they left the play area, "Mrs. Boscorelli, I think you should go to the hospital and get checked out," Eric said in a kind voice. "For your safety."

"Can someone call my husband?" Danielle asked softly. "He's got the family cell-phone."

Eric nodded, "Let my kids eat first," Danielle spoke softly. "Then I'll go to the hospital."

Speedle Family Restaurant/Apartment - Calle Ocho

"How have you been doing, Tony?" Tim asked as he came into the restaurant kitchen and saw Tony silently sweeping the floor. "Dad said that you're living above the restaurant now."

Tony nodded, "I'm on a medicine schedule," he replied, holding up his wrist, which had a watch wrapped around it. "Every time I check my blood sugar, I take some of my medicine. Dad's at the restaurant every day and he's got me working nightshifts under a really nice prep cook."

Tim nodded and Tony sighed as he made some notes on a board near the stove, "I don't know when Dad hired Ryan Wolfe exactly, but Ryan's been really nice and he lets me help with chopping sometimes when the dishpit is slow," Tony chattered. "He's really a good mentor."

Realizing that Ryan was working at the restaurant to help make ends meet because he was still on suspension from the lab, Tim nodded, "How is work going at the Crime Lab?" Tony asked in a cheerful voice as he grabbed a clean rag, wet it in the sink, and started wiping the counters.

"Work's going well," Tim replied, unsure of how much he could tell Tony about his life.

Tony nodded and turned his attention to the dishpit, "We get a lot of nice customers in here and Dad sometimes lets me wait on people if we're slow," he commented cheerfully.

Just then, the bell attached to the front door rang and Tony froze, "Timmy, would you come help me with the customer?" he asked in a nervous voice. "I need someone to watch..."

Wanting to encourage Tony as much as he could, Tim nodded and followed him out into the dining area, deeply surprised when he saw Natalia lingering beside a rough looking man, "Welcome to the Speedle Family Restaurant," Tony started to say in a kind voice. "Can...?"

"Whatever, just get me some coffee and charge it to Natalia," the man spoke harshly.

Natalia looked uncomfortable, "Nick, enough," she replied in an irritated voice.

Anger filled Nick's eyes and he shoved Natalia, "I only came to talk to you in a civil manner!" he shouted in an angry voice, angry profanity escaping his lips as Natalia fell into a table.

Tim swore as he grabbed hold of the man and slammed him against a table, forcing his arms behind his back as he did so, "You're under arrest for assault," he said in a stern voice.

"Come on into the kitchen, ma'am," Tony said softly as he helped Natalia up. "Are you okay?"

Nick swore, but Tim pinned him against the wall, "Natalia's my ex," he snapped. "She wanted to get together for a friendly chat because I want to discuss the terms of our divorce."

"You can explain it to the police when they get here," Tim replied gruffly. "Tony?!"

There was a silence, "I'm calling the police, Timmy," a voice hollered out from the kitchen.

"You're gonna regret this," Nick growled even though he was no physical match for Tim.

Miami-Dade Crime Lab

"Thank you for bringing James and Julliet by," Emily said in a gentle voice as she sat on the couch, silently watching James and Julliet play with cars. "I don't have appointments..."

Marisol smiled as she sat in a chair, "I wanted to ask you something anyway, Emily," she replied in a pleasant voice. "Horatio and I are getting married and I want you to be my witness. Eric is concerned about the wedding, but he knows Horatio and I are both adults. He will be serving as Horatio's witness because Horatio thought it would be important to include my brother..."

"I'm honored you asked me and I'd love to," Emily replied softly. "When is the wedding?"

Marisol's smile grew, "Probably in about a week or so," she replied pleasantly. "We're just going to get a license and marry at the courthouse. We'll have a reception for everyone after that."

Emily smiled and sighed tiredly, prompting Marisol to frown, "Are you okay?" she asked softly.

"I'm just very tired and a little sore," Emily replied softly, placing a hand on her healing chest.

Marisol nodded, but before she could reply, Frank Tripp poked his head into the office, "Detective Tripp, what can I do for you?" Emily asked, quickly assuming a professional tone.

"There was a fight at a MacDonald's and we've got the instigator down in holding, but he's asking to talk to you," Frank replied in a concerned voice. "His name is Tommy Wolfe and he's being charged with assault and public drunkenness. He blew twice the legal driving limit."

The mention of the holding cells caused Emily to turn pale, "You won't be going down there by yourself, I'll be sending a CSI down with you," Frank quickly spoke, knowing that Emily's memories of her time in the cell block were resurfacing. "CSI Duquesne is waiting for you."

"Can you take James and Julliet for me?" Emily asked softly as she kissed both her children.

Marisol nodded and Emily swallowed hard as she got up and followed Frank into the hall where Calleigh was waiting, "CSI Duquesne?" Emily asked nervously. "Detective Tripp said that..."

"Is that man down in the cell related to you?" Calliegh asked softly. "His last name is yours."

Emily nodded as they walked down the hallway, "It's really complicated," she replied softly.

"I understand," Calleigh replied in a kind voice as they reached the elevator. "I really do."

Miami-Dade University Hospital

"Mom?" John called out in a shaky voice as he and Bosco, who had received a call from Eric as they were driving home from the Crime Lab, entered the ER. "Mom...Mom, where are you?"

Bosco frowned as he suddenly noticed Eric lingering outside of an observation room, but John quickly bolted over to him, "Officer Delko, where's my mom?" John asked in a shaking voice.

Eric sighed and gestured into the room behind him where Danielle was laying in bed asleep with an IV in the hand that was on her stomach, just above the foetal monitor that was on her.

"Where are David and Ellie at?" John asked in a worried voice. "Did someone take them?"

Eric shook his head, "Ryan Wolfe dropped his nephew off and then took David and Ellie to the cafeteria so they could eat," he replied, not wanting to say that David and Ellie had been so worried about their mother that they hadn't been able to eat. "Danielle's going to be fine."

Bosco eyed the fetal monitor warily, "And the baby?" he asked in a soft, fearful voice.

"The baby is going to be fine, Officer Boscorelli," Dr. Loman said in a kind voice as he suddenly came into view next to Eric and John. "I'm Doctor Loman and I am your wife's caregiver."

Exhaling anxiously, Bosco nodded, but didn't say anything, "Danielle was assaulted at a McDonald's downtown and sustained bruises to her back, shoulders, and neck that caused her a lot of pain, but nothing is broken," Dr. Loman explained calmly. "She was in a lot of pain, so after the examination and x-rays, I gave her a bit of medication so that she could rest a bit."

John sighed and bit his lip anxiously as he walked over to a chair near his mother's bed and sat down, "I dropped the photos and evidence by the Lab on my way here," Eric explained softly.

"When can Danielle leave?" Bosco asked softly. "We're staying with a friend while we're here."

Dr. Loman nodded, "Danielle can go home whenever she feels up to it, but she needs to take it easy," he explained in a calm voice. "Officer Boscorelli, have you visited Detective Caine?"

"I guess I could," Bosco replied softly. "John, I'm gonna go see Detective Caine for a bit, okay?"

John nodded and made no move to leave Danielle's side as Bosco silently followed Dr. Loman.

"It's sure been nice seeing you guys," Bobby spoke softly, adjusting the bed so that BJ and Adam, who were both tired and hungry, could get off the bed. "I've missed you so much."

Sully sighed as Bobby turned to look at BJ and Adam, "Maybe I'll be home in a week," Bobby spoke softly. "I could be home sooner if I had better accessibility and help at my house, but I don't want to hire anyone to clean my house and look after the boys. I don't want to be..."

Just then, Yelina came into the room and smiled at Sully, "Are you ready for lunch?" she asked.

"Love you, Dad," BJ said in a kind voice as he gently hugged Bobby before getting off the bed.

Adam kissed Bobby's cheek and climbed off the bed, "John, why don't you go wait in the hall with the boys and talk about what we will have for lunch?" Yelina asked in a gentle voice.

Once Sully, BJ, and Adam had left, Yelina walked over to the bed, "I wanted to talk to you about perhaps being a caregiver for your sons so you can get out of here sooner than a week," she explained in a gentle voice. "I know you don't like hospitals and I know you'd rather be home."

"I would appreciate the help, Aunt Yelina," Bobby replied softly. "What about your work?"

Yelina smiled, "I can take BJ to school and Adam can come to work with me," she replied in a reassuring voice. "I'm not sure how long the Boscorellis plan to stay, but it will work out."

Suddenly, Yelina noticed Bosco come over to Sully and talk to him, "Stay with BJ and Adam," she heard Sully say in an anxious, but quiet voice before he tore off down the hallway.

"Bosco, what's happening?" Bobby asked in a concerned voice. "Where did Sully go?"

Bosco frowned, "Some guy hurt Danielle at McDonald's," he replied in a distressed voice. "She and the baby are okay, though. I left John with her so I could come visit you for a bit."

Bobby frowned and sighed, but Bosco shook his head, "Don't worry about it," he replied.

Sully frowned as he approached the examination room and saw Danielle sitting up on the gurney, sighing as a nurse removed the fetal monitor and IV while John watched silently.

"Hi, Dad," Danielle spoke softly as she leaned against John for support. "Did you hear?"

Sully nodded and Danielle sighed heavily, "I just want to get out of here and rest in a comfortable bed," she said in a tired voice. "Either get me a wheelchair or help me up."

Sighing softly, Sully offered his arm and helped Danielle off the bed, "I just want to get out of here and have a good rest with my family all around me," Danielle spoke in a tired voice.

John quickly got up and held to his mother just as Ryan came down the hallway with David and Ellie at his side, "Officer Wolfe, thank you for watching David and Ellie for me," Danielle spoke softly as she walked out of the exam room with John's help. "Did they get enough to eat?"

David and Ellie responded by gently hugging Danielle, "I'm so sorry for what Tommy did to you," Ryan spoke in a quiet, upset voice. "We share the same name, but we're not brothers."

Sully's eyes went wide, but he didn't say anything, "Thank you for your help, Officer Wolfe," Danielle spoke softly. "We asked that the next meeting John has to go to be in New York, but if Detective Caine needs help so he can come home to his family, we can always stay longer..."

"That wouldn't be fair to you or your family, though," Ryan replied in a worried voice.

Danielle sighed, "We'll manage," she spoke softly even though she knew money was tight.

Ryan nodded and remained silent as Bosco came down the hallway and saw that Danielle was up, "Maurice, can we please go?" Danielle asked softly. "I'm perfectly well enough to leave."

Seeing the determination in Danielle's eyes, Bosco nodded, "I'm going to stay with Yelina, BJ, and Adam," Sully spoke up in a calm voice. "We're going to go out to lunch somewhere."

Bosco nodded and helped John escort Danielle out of the ER while David and Ellie followed closely behind them, "I can't believe Tommy hurt a woman," Ryan breathed in an anxious voice, still reeling from what had happened at McDonald's. "He's turned into being like our father."

Sully sighed as Ryan struggled to collect himself before silently leaving the emergency room, as he knew that Ryan struggled with his past every day. Shaking his head, Sully turned and walked off back towards Bobby's room to see if Yelina, BJ, and Adam were ready to go to lunch yet.

Miami-Dade Crime Lab Cellblock

Swallowing hard, Emily silently entered the cellblock and walked over to the holding cell where Tommy was sitting, silently staring at the ceiling in his street clothes, "Tommy?" Emily asked.

"The cops won't let me out of here," Tommy commented, glaring at Emily. "Will you?"

Emily shook her head, "According to the cops, you blew twice the legal limit," she replied.

"Dad drank a lot worse when we were kids than I did today and you didn't run away or kill yourself," Tommy spoke in a rough voice that was slightly slurred. "I'm not that drunk."

Calliegh flinched at Tommy's comments, but didn't say anything, "I wonder why you haven't killed my drunk self yet," Tommy continued drunkenly. "You killed Dad when you got tired of him beating the crap out of you and Ryan like he used to. If you have a gun, you can do it."

"Tommy," Emily spoke in an upset voice as Calleigh stared at her with her blue eyes widening.

Calleigh frowned as Tommy sneered, "I could tell your blonde friend stories that would make her hair curl," he hissed, smiling cruelly as profanity escaped his lips. "Not so tough now, are..."

"This interview's over," Emily said in a shaking voice. "You need a couple days to cool off."

Loud swearing followed Emily and Calleigh as they left the cellblock and neither woman spoke as they approached the elevator. Once both women were inside the elevator, however, Emily sighed heavily and leaned against the rail, shaken by the mere mention of her troubled youth.

Horatio frowned as he and Marisol, who had decided to stop by Bobby's house on the way to a lunch out, entered the house and heard movement. Marisol silently looked around the house.

"It could be the builders measuring for the elevator," Marisol observed. "You said you..."

Horatio sighed, "The installation isn't supposed to take place until tomorrow," he replied, his eyes widening when Lenny suddenly came out of the kitchen with a sandwich in his hand.

Lenny froze at the sight of Horatio and Marisol, "Dad?" he called out. "People are here."

There were footsteps and Stetler came out of the kitchen, sighing when he saw Horatio and Marisol there, "Rick, what are you and Lenny doing here?" Horatio asked in a quiet voice.

"You're not the only one who's been to visit Bobby," Rick replied. "We've had quite a talk and since I don't like living so close to downtown, I will be selling that apartment and moving in here with Lenny because it will take time for Bobby to get back on his feet. Besides, BJ and Adam are a good influence on Lenny and he needs friends. Bobby and I have already discussed it."

Horatio raised an eyebrow, but said nothing, "I heard about what happened to Danielle Boscorelli at the McDonald's today because Ryan filled me in over the phone," Rick continued in a sharp voice. "The Sullivan-Boscorelli family will be much safer going home to New York."

"Rick, I do not think sending them home now is the best idea," Horatio replied sternly.

Rick scoffed, "You're welcome to go to New York and work with the officials there, but the whole family wants to go home," he snapped. "After Danielle recovers, I'll be arranging it."

As Rick led Lenny back into the kitchen, Horatio gave Marisol a look, but said nothing. They both knew that Rick was right; the Boscorelli-Sullivans needed to go home where it was safe.
