"Danielle Boscorelli?"

Swallowing hard, Danielle looked anxiously at Rose, who had come with her daughter-in-law to the ultrasound to keep her calm, "Can you help me out of the chair, please?" she asked quietly.

Rose nodded and helped Danielle, who was significantly bigger, stand and follow the nurse into the exam room. Once the nurse had left her with a gown, Rose helped Danielle change and lie down on the exam bed, "Thank you for coming with me today, Rose," Danielle spoke softly.

"It's not a problem, my dear," Rose replied reassuringly. "I enjoy having a daughter."

Danielle sighed and gently rested a hand on her stomach, "I'm scared to death that this birth will be difficult like the other ones were," she replied anxiously. "I was completely alone for Ellie's and since we were hiding from Edward, I ended up delivering her in a back alley…"

Rose gasped, but said nothing because the door opened and the technician came into the room, smiling at Danielle and Rose as she prepared to perform the ultrasound for the baby.

"…Emily, I'm nervous," Marisol whispered in an anxious voice as she sat beside Emily Dr. Loman's office to discuss the possibility of having a baby with Horatio. "What if I can't…?"

Emily sighed, "Then you and Horatio could always adopt," she replied gently, smiling at her friend. "You and Horatio have a lot of love to give and you would be good parents to anyone."

"Now that you and Tim are engaged, have you discussed having more kids?" Marisol asked.

A look of sadness crossed Emily's face, "Between the difficult time I had giving birth to James and Julliet and the cancer treatment, I'm not sure if there will be any more kids," she replied in a sad voice. "Tim knows that and he's filed paperwork to adopt James and Julliet as his own."

Marisol looked sad, "I'm so sorry, Emily," she replied gently. "I can't imagine that's easy to…"

"No, but James and Julliet will be going to preschool in the fall and I have my job at the PD, so I've got plenty to keep me busy," Emily replied softly. "It's something I'd rather keep private."

Marisol nodded as the door opened and a nurse came out, "Marisol Delko?" the nurse asked.

Smiling, Marisol rose and followed the nurse, leaving Emily alone to think about the future.

"How's your blood sugar?"

Swallowing hard, John the straps of his worn diabetes backpack and silently watched as uniformed and plainclothes officers made their way through the lobby and either further into the building or out on duty. He had worn his best suit and had eaten a decent breakfast that morning, as today was the day that he was going to give his final statements on the incident.

A gentle poke prompted John to turn his head towards Bosco, "John, are you all right?" Bosco asked in a concerned voice, eyeing him worriedly. "I know you ate a good breakfast, but…"

"I'm fine," John replied quietly. "I'm just wanting to get this whole thing finally over with."

Bosco nodded, "Would it be a bad thing if I wasn't sorry about who I killed, only about the fact that I had to kill?" John asked quietly. "I'm not sorry that I killed a child molester…"

"I know," Bosco replied in a quiet voice, watching as John sighed. "How's college prep coming?"

John shrugged, "I sent off a lot of applications to schools all over the city, but it takes time to hear back, I guess," he replied quietly. "I wanna work in Criminal Justice and be like you, but I'm not sure if my body would tolerate me working as hard as you do. I might have to not do it."

"You don't have to be a cop," Bosco replied calmly. "In fact, I'd prefer that you didn't be one."

As Bosco gestured to the scar on his face to show why, Danny came down the hallway to where they were sitting, "Maurice and John Boscorelli?" he asked calmly. "Mac'll see you now."

Nodding, Bosco and John got up and silently followed Danny upstairs into a large boardroom where Mac, Gil, Flack, and to John's surprise, Sully and Yelina waited, "Good morning, gentlemen," Mac said in a calm voice. "My hope is that this meeting will be short."

"Am I facing jail time?" John asked nervously. "I killed someone and I'm worried about that."

Mac smirked as Bosco and John sat down, "You killed in self-defense, so there's no jail time for that and it's not going on any record," Sully explained calmly. "That's not what this is about."

John nodded, "Just give whatever details you can remember from the time of your kidnapping to the time you were found," Flack said calmly. "Once it's done, we'll consider this closed."

"Okay," John replied shakily, just wanting to be done with the nasty incident once and for all.

"I know we've got a meeting later, but I promised my brother and niece that we'd stop by and help my niece move some things," Emily explained as the taxi they had taken from the clinic pulled up in front of an apartment building. "She's moved in with her mother right now."

Marisol nodded, "Horatio mentioned it," she replied softly. "It's perfectly fine."

Emily nodded and smiled as they got out of the taxi and went into the building, not stopping until they reached Jenny's apartment. The door was open and Horatio and Ryan were already there, silently watching as Jenny put things into boxes. All of the furniture was gone.

"Hi," Emily said in a kind voice as they entered the apartment. "How can we help?"

Horatio smiled and embraced Marisol, "How was the appointment?" he asked sweetly.

"Where's all the furniture?" Emily asked in a confused voice. "I could help move some."

Jenny sighed, "Mom hired someone to move that stuff for me so I wouldn't have to be here for very long," she replied in a concerned voice. "She's scared that Dad might come here."

"Your dad's on house arrest, Jenny," Ryan spoke calmly. "The MDPD is monitoring him."

Jenny nodded, but didn't look convinced, "Jenny, can I help you with your clothes?" Emily asked in a concerned voice, noticing that Jenny's clothes were in a pile in the corner of the floor.

"That would be great, thanks," Jenny replied, frowning as she suddenly heard footsteps.

There was silence and then two masked men suddenly entered the apartment with guns drawn, "FREEZE!" a voice that Ryan knew to be Tommy's yelled. "Jenny, I told you not to come back!"

Terrified, Jenny backed up against the wall, "Jenny, go into the bathroom with your aunt," Ryan instructed, quickly drawing his gun. "Marisol, maybe you'd better help Jenny get to Emily."

Wondering how Tommy slipped past MDPD detection, Horatio silently drew his gun and waited.

"Are you gonna shoot me, maggot?" Tommy hissed darkly, aiming his gun at Ryan.

Anxious for Jenny's safety, Emily silently drew her gun as Marisol darted over to Jenny to usher the girl to safety. Enraged at Marisol's ignorance, Tommy fired at her, hitting her in the stomach and sending her to the floor. Jenny threw herself to the floor as bullets suddenly flew around the apartment, as Horatio, Emily, Ryan, and Tommy were all shooting while Clavo ran off.

Tommy swore as a shot suddenly nailed him in the shoulder, causing him to drop his firearm and giving Ryan a chance to tackle him. Horatio quickly went to Marisol's side, pulled out his cell-phone, and dialled 9-1-1, shocked that someone would shoot his wife over her kindness.

Swearing, Tommy forced Ryan off of him and went for his gun, intending to shoot the terrified Jenny as she still lay on the floor. Quickly realizing what Tommy was about to do, Emily raised her gun and shot him in the hand, blowing the gun out of his hand and across the floor.

Trembling, Ryan pulled himself up off the floor and watched as Emily silently put her gun away and went over to where Jenny was, "Jenny, are you all right?" she asked in a worried voice.

"Yes," Jenny replied in a shaky voice as she slowly sat up and saw Horatio using his jacket to try and stop the bleeding in Marisol's wound. "That…that lady was just trying to help me."

Emily frowned as sirens could be heard in the distance, hoping that help would come in time.

John sighed, folding his arms as he watched Yelina, Grissom, Mac, Flack, and Sully talk in the meeting room while he sat outside. He had shared all the memories he had of what had happened to him in Miami and after he had, they had thanked him and sent him outside.

Bosco, of course, had come with him and was getting them water from a nearby cooler, "You all right?" he asked as he brought a cup of water over to John. "You did well in there."

"I never got to say goodbye to Doc," John spoke quietly. "I know it's a silly thing to say…"

Bosco frowned and sat down on the bench next to John, "It's not silly," he replied softly.

Before John could reply, the door opened and Grissom came out with Sully, "You're all good, John," Grissom said in an official voice. "You and your dad are free to go if you want."

"Have they decided when Doc's funeral is going to be?" John asked in a soft voice.

Grissom suddenly looked thoughtful as Mac came out of the meeting room, "We've got Monte Parker's body in our morgue since nobody knows who to release it to," Mac explained, having heard John's question. "I don't know how you're feeling, but would you like to see him?"

"I would," John replied softly, wanting so badly to say goodbye to his friend and mentor.

Mac nodded, "If you'll follow me, I'll take to you to him," he promised in a sincere voice.

"What happened here?" Calleigh asked in a concerned voice as she and a concerned looking Natalia came into the apartment and saw paramedics preparing to move a badly wounded Marisol while Horatio talked with a shaken Emily and a terrified looking Jenny.

Horatio frowned and was about to open his mouth when he suddenly heard gunshots outside followed by loud profanity. Deeply shaken, he ran over to the balcony and was shocked to find Ryan attempting to restrain a heavily injured Tommy as police cars surrounded them.

"Calleigh, the firearms are over in the corner," Emily spoke up shakily. "All of them."

Calleigh frowned as Emily led Jenny to the door, "I shot Tommy in the hand after he shot Marisol," Emily spoke shakily. "I'll talk to you after I get Jenny to safety, all right?"

Once Emily had left with Jenny, Horatio immediately went to Marisol's side and took her hand in his own, "Marisol, everything's going to be all right," Horatio spoke in a shaky whisper.

Too weak to reply, Marisol offered her husband a weak smile as she was taken from the apartment and Horatio looked at Calleigh, "Get started," he ordered as he hurried outside.

Profanity shot out of Tommy's mouth as he saw Emily lead Jenny outside, prompting Ryan to punch him square in the nose. Almost immediately, uniformed officers came over and forced Tommy away and towards the squad cars. Ryan swore and flexed his bruised knuckle.

"Ryan, your mouth is bleeding," Emily spoke shakily as she held Jenny close. "Is your…?"

Frowning, Ryan gingerly touched his mouth and immediately spat a tooth into his hand before reaching up and placing a hand over his left ear, "I must have lost it," he grumbled.

"I'll get you a new one," Emily replied softly. "I know where you get them."

Ryan nodded and sighed as Tripp came over to them, "Can I go back to my mom and brothers?" Jenny asked anxiously, deeply shaken by the shooting. "I hope that lady's going to be okay."

"Is that a tooth in your hand, Wolfe?" Tripp asked, peering at Ryan's hand. "What happened?"

While Ryan tried to think up an explanation, he was unaware that Calleigh had just found his hearing aid in a corner of the apartment and was staring at it with a deep confusion.

Silence filled the morgue as John entered and saw Doc's body lying on one of the open drawers covered only by a sheet. Sid had agreed with Mac's request and had opened the drawer before leaving the room to give John some privacy. Swallowing hard, John approached the table.

"I'm so sorry this had to happen to you, Doc," John spoke softly. "I didn't want it to."

Of course, no reply came, so John sighed, "I took one of those high school equivalency tests and scored high honors, so I got to apply to all the schools I wanted to, but I want to stay close to my family," he continued quietly. "I want to help people, but I don't think I could be a beat cop like Maurice with my diabetes, you know? I want to stay close to Mom and Maurice because they're expecting a baby and I want to help with David, Ellie, and my new brother or sister."

John swallowed hard, "Thank you for saving my life," he commented softly. "I'll miss you."

The door opened and closed, "I'm done, don't worry," John spoke in a soft voice.

There was silence and John turned to find Sully standing there, "Your dad's waiting outside for you," Sully commented quietly. "I need to get them to release the body to me so I can plan a proper memorial service. Doc helped me through some very hard times, so I should do this."

Nodding, John gave his grandpa a hug and silently left the room. Sully let out a heavy sigh.]

Miami-Dade University Hospital - Miami, Florida

Swearing under his breath, Rick hurried into the foyer of the emergency room having been called in by the PD on his day off. He had left the kids under Bobby's supervision and come without hesitation when he had been informed about the incident at the apartments.

The sight of Emily standing in the foyer with a shaken looking Eric made Rick fall silent, "Horatio's in with Marisol," Emily stated before Rick could speak. "Jenny's mother arrived just before you got here and she is in an exam room with Jenny and a nurse. It was bad, Rick."

"Tommy Wolfe broke house arrest and ambushed us at Jenny's apartment," Emily explained in a toneless voice, gazing at Rick. "Marisol tried to protect Jenny and Tommy shot her."

Eric gave Emily a look, "Emily blew a gun out of her own brother's hand," he commented.

"Tommy stopped being my brother a long time ago," Emily replied firmly. "Ryan…"

Rick frowned and Emily glanced at Eric reluctantly, "I'm going to go check on Marisol," Eric spoke softly, realizing that Emily wanted to talk to Rick without him there. "Excuse me."

Emily watched as Eric left and then sighed, "Tommy injured Ryan in the scuffle and damaged one of his hearing aids and knocked one of his teeth out," she explained in a quiet voice.

"I'll put in a call to Sully," Rick replied quietly. "Sully's the one who arranged for that stuff."

Emily nodded and sighed wearily, "You blew a gun out of Tommy's hand?" Rick asked softly.

"The guns are with Calleigh, along with everything else," Emily replied in a tight voice.

Rick nodded and sighed, "You should call Speedle to come and take you home," he said, a resigned sigh in his voice. "There's really not a lot you can do now and he's off today."

"You're very wrong, Rick," Emily replied firmly as she walked off. "I can be of help."

Ignoring Rick's pleas to come back, Emily silently walked through the hallway until she found Marisol's room and silently watched as Eric and Horatio both lingered at Marisol's bedside.

Swallowing hard, Emily entered the room and sat in a chair that was beside the bed, immediately prompting Marisol to look at her and offer a faint smile, "Hi," Marisol said in a voice barely above a whisper, relieved to see Emily. "I don't think I'll make your wedding."

Determined to remain strong for her friends and colleagues, Emily said nothing and offered Marisol a comforting smile as she took her friend's hand, "Save your strength," she whispered softly, drawing on her counseling experience to serve as a comfort. "I'm here for you."

Nodding, Marisol closed her eyes and continued to rest, "I need to call our parents," Eric said in a shaky voice, relieved and shocked about the interaction between Emily and Marisol.

Comforted by Emily's presence and support, Horatio silently took a seat on the other side of the bed and took Marisol's other hand. He was relieved that he didn't have to deal with this alone.

Coral Gables – Miami, Florida

"Clavo, you idiot," Bernard hissed darkly, slouching in his chair as he watched a shaken Dr. Price treat Clavo's gunshot wound. "Why would you go help someone break their house arrest?"

Clavo scoffed, "Tommy Wolfe promised me some major money," he argued bitterly, wincing and swearing loudly as he felt his wound being treated. "I could always use money, man."

"You're now on the run from the Miami PD and you come crawling to me for safety," Bernard replied in a dark voice, glaring at Clavo. "You know Emily or one of the cops could have easily blown your hand off too. The department has some really skilled officers and you know that."

Clavo winced, "You've got Ricky over a barrel because of Lindsay," he replied coldly.

"Those fools in Brazil lost her and I'm not healthy enough to go and straighten them out," Bernard replied in a tired voice. "You said that Tommy Wolfe shot a young woman?"

Clavo nodded, "Her name was Marisol Delko," he replied. "A relation to Officer Delko."

"Those police officers are really starting to get on my nerves," Bernard hissed darkly as he made himself comfortable in his chair. "You said those are the two that found Emily after I ordered her dumped in the worst part of Miami to die. She would have died if not for the Delkos."

Clavo scoffed, but ended up groaning as Dr. Price finished her work, "You need to lie low for now, as every police officer in Miami is probably on the hunt for you," Bernard hissed.

"Mister Marquez, it's time for you to rest," Dr. Price spoke up softly. "I'm finished."

Nodding, Bernard slowly got up from his chair and allowed Dr. Price to help him from the room, leaving Clavo alone to rest and think about how he could actually be of help to Bernard.

Speedle Family Restaurant

"So, Timmy, when are you getting married?" Tony asked in a quiet voice, smiling as he and Tim sat at a table in the main dining area during food prep, watching as James and Julliet played with toys on the floor nearby. "Emily's really lucky to have you to take care of her."

Tim nodded, but didn't say anything, "Jenny and I have been spending a lot of time together," Tony continued quietly. "She's really good about helping me take my meds and stay healthy."

"Are you thinking about getting serious with her?" Tim asked quietly. "Tony, wow."

Tony blushed, "We're both considering it, but we're both kind of young for that," he replied in an amused voice. "Jenny's a great girl, but I want to make sure I can stay healthy for a while."

"You're still scared Stetler's going to press charges, aren't you?" Tim asked worriedly.

Tony nodded, "You weren't yourself and had no idea what you were doing because your blood sugar was low and affecting your memory," Tim replied calmly. "The doctors even figured out that you don't even have a mental illness. Your diabetes just got really out of control."

"I kidnapped a kid when I was sick, dude," Tony replied shakily. "A police officer's kid."

Tim sighed and watched as Tony drank the green tea that their father had made him, "Jenny's dad is crazy and said he'd kill me if he caught me hanging out with his daughter anymore," Tony confessed, his anxiety rising. "We were taking a walk last night and her dad suddenly jumped out of a bush and started screaming at Jenny. I told him to stop it and he…he kinda beat me…"

Before Tim could reply, Tony silently unbuttoned his shirt, revealing a nasty footprint shaped bruise on his chest, "I haven't changed clothes since last night or anything," Tony confessed.

"Are you hurt anywhere else?" Tim asked, quickly getting his cell-phone out of his pocket.

Tony nodded and silently looked at the table while Tim dialled 9-1-1, "This is Officer Speedle at Speedle's Family Restaurant in Calle Ocho," Tim said in a concerned voice. "My brother just told me he was assaulted last night and sustained injuries. I need EMS and a squad car here stat."

Once the call was done, Tim sighed, "Dad, we need to talk to you," he called out to the kitchen.

Immediately, Anthony Speedle came out of the kitchen and was shocked when he saw Tony's chest bruised up, "Jenny's father ambushed us on our date last night, Dad," Tony whispered.

"I called for paramedics and police," Tim spoke up calmly as his cell-phone suddenly rang.

Anthony nodded, frowning as Tim got up and answered his cell-phone, "Speedle," Tim said.

There was a heavy silence, "What?" Tim asked sharply, frowning as Delko told him that there had been an ambush by Tommy Wolfe and Clavo Cruz at Jenny's apartment that morning.

With a sigh, Tim hung up, "Tommy Wolfe and Clavo Cruz ambushed Jenny, Horatio, Ryan, Emily, and Marisol Delko at Jenny's apartment this morning when Jenny went to get the rest of her stuff," he explained in a somber voice. "Marisol tried to protect Jenny and Tommy shot her…"

Tony's eyes widened and Anthony bit his lip anxiously, "Emily blew the gun out of Tommy's hand and Ryan got into a tussle with him," Tim continued. "Everyone's at the hospital."

"Timmy, you should go be with your fiancé," Tony spoke shakily. "She…she needs you.

Feeling torn, Tim hesitated, "Why don't you come to the hospital with us and I can stay with Tony and you can go see Emily?" Anthony spoke up, sensing Tim's indecision.

"Okay," Tim replied softly, deeply shaken by all the chaos that was suddenly happening.

Danielle sighed softly as she stood in the room that had been created out of part of the living room and would serve as the nursery for the new baby. The room itself was done, but it only had a dresser and crib inside; the rest had been put off until they knew what the gender was.

As Danielle stood there, smiling to herself, she heard the apartment door open and turned just in time to see Maurice and John come through the door, "Hi," she said in a cheerful voice.

"How was the doctor visit?" Bosco asked as he kissed Danielle. "Do you know what it is?"

Danielle sighed and looked at John curiously, "How was your visit to the NYPD?" she asked.

John sighed quietly and immediately went in for a hug, prompting Danielle to wrap her arms around him and hold him, "Have some green tea and there might be some sandwiches in the fridge," Danielle spoke softly, kissing John's head. "Maurice, let's talk in the nursery."

Nodding, John excused himself to the kitchen while Bosco went into the nursery with Danielle and partially closed the door, "I think we will need another crib," Danielle spoke gently.

Bosco frowned in confusion, but didn't speak, "There are two babies," Danielle explained

Bosco's eyes widened and a grin broke out on his face as he passionately kissed Danielle while embracing her, "I didn't ask about the genders because I was so shocked about the news we're having twins," Danielle replied anxiously, smiling at him. "I guess we'll need more things."

"That's all right," Bosco replied in a gentle voice. "We'll get more things tomorrow."

Danielle smiled and silently went out into the kitchen, smiling when she saw John at the table with a sandwich and a cup of green tea, "They have Doc's body and let me say goodbye," John spoke softly as he ate. "Grandpa said he was going to get the body and arrange a memorial."

"Good," Danielle replied softly as she opened the fridge. "I think I'll join you for lunch."

Miami-Dade University Hospital - Miami, Florida

Emily swallowed hard as she stood in the hallway, silently watching as Horatio, Eric, and Eric and Marisol's parents gathered around Marisol's bedside as she slowly got closer to death.

"I need your statement and I need Lieutenant Caine's statement," Emily suddenly heard a somber sounding Rick say as footsteps approached. "I've already gotten one from Ryan."

Emily sighed as she turned to face Rick, "Just give Lieutenant Caine some time," she replied in a heavy voice, giving him a look. "It doesn't look like Marisol is going to survive the night."

"Detective Caine is on his way here to serve as support," Rick replied in a slightly irritated voice as he gazed back at her. "He got a neighbor to watch his children since Yelina is still away."

Emily nodded, "Marisol was with John Sullivan Junior when he was abducted and he should know what's going on," she replied in a firm voice. "Have you contacted Sully yet?"

"No, I am going to do that in a few minutes," Rick replied quietly. "Are you feeling okay?"

Emily shrugged and sighed, "I just need to sit down," she replied quietly. "Excuse me."

Trembling anxiously, Emily made her way down the hallway to find a place to rest because she was emotionally drained and feeling some side effects of the chemotherapy that she was due to finish soon. She silently took a seat near the admit desk and let out a heavy sigh.

Without warning, the doors to a trauma room burst open and an angry Tommy lunged out into the hallway with nurses trying to grab him. Tommy immediately spotted Emily and lunged at her before she could react, sending them both to the floor in a pile. Blood streamed from Tommy's untreated hand as he grabbed Emily's throat and attempted to choke her.

There was shouting, swearing, and Emily suddenly felt Tommy's weight being forcibly lifted off of her. As Emily lay there, trying to catch her breath, she could vaguely hear Jenny crying and Diana shouting profanity. Slowly, Emily regained her bearings and was surprised to see an infuriated Tim standing over an anxious looking Tommy while uniformed officers cuffed him.

"Are you okay?" Tim asked in a concerned voice, quickly offering a hand to Emily.

Trembling, Emily allowed Tim to help her up, "I left James and Julliet with my mom," Tim explained quietly as the officers hustled Tommy away. "Tommy also assaulted Tony."

Frowning, Emily nodded, "Did you get checked out?" Tim asked in a concerned voice.

Shaking her head, Emily responded by leaning against him, prompting Tim to embrace her.

Manhattan, New York

"…Thank you for calling, Rick," Sully said in a somber voice, holding his cell-phone to his ear as he and Yelina approached the door to Bosco and Danielle's apartment. "I'll let them know."

Letting out a sigh, Sully put his phone in his pocket and knocked on the door, unsurprised when the door opened right away and David was standing there, "Hi Grandpa, Miss Yelina," David said in a kind voice. "Mommy's cooking supper and Dad's helping Ellie with her homework."

Sully nodded and took Yelina's hand as they entered the apartment, "I got a phone call from Rick Stetler in Miami, Bosco and Danielle," he stated, sighing as David closed the door.

Bosco, who was at the table with Ellie, frowned and Danielle quickly stopped what she was doing. John, who was watching TV, muted the sound and looked at Sully worriedly.

"Emily and Marisol Delko were helping Emily's niece move from her apartment this morning and they were being helped by Ryan and Lieutenant Caine," Sully explained solemnly. "They were ambushed by Tommy Wolfe and Clavo Cruz. When Marisol tried to help Emily's niece, Tommy Wolfe shot her and she's not expected to make it through the night, sadly."

Ellie suddenly looked very sad and Bosco immediately pulled her into his lap and held her, "Emily shot the gun out of Tommy's hand, but Clavo Cruz escaped," Sully continued softly.

John silently set the remote on the couch and looked at the floor, David ran to Danielle and began crying, Ellie cuddled to Bosco in tears, "Do I still have to testify?" Danielle asked softly.

"I'm not sure," Sully replied quietly. "Rick said he'd let me know about that later on."

Danielle nodded and sighed, gently holding David close as everyone in the apartment grieved.

"Uncle Horatio?"

Exhausted from holding vigil, Horatio looked up from his spot and was surprised to see Bobby come through the door wearing casual clothes, "Speedle asked his mom to come watch the kids so I could be here and she's got James and Julliet with her too," Bobby explained quietly. "They're all at my house and will be til…"

Horatio nodded, "Eric took his and Marisol's parents and sisters to the cafeteria for a few moments," he replied quietly. "Emily Wolfe was here briefly, but she is with Speed now. They're out in the hallway."

"Is there anything I can do?" Bobby asked quietly as he approached Marisol's bedside. "

Marisol's eyes suddenly fluttered open and she smiled weakly at Bobby, "You've always been good to your uncle, Bobby" she spoke softly. "I want you to look after him for me when I'm gone. He needs his family."

Bobby nodded, "Of course I will, Auntie Marisol," he replied softly. "You will be at peace very soon."

Marisol nodded and closed her eyes again, "I got a call from Aunt Yelina on my way here and it turns out that she's going to come back to Miami in a few days," Bobby explained quietly as he sat in a chair by the bed. "Apparently, Rick called Sully and told him what happened here. Aunt Yelina wants to come be of support to all of us."

"I'm sure John Sullivan Senior will miss her very much," Horatio replied quietly. "They are extremely close."

Bobby nodded and sighed just as Eric, Mr. and Mrs. Delko, their sisters, Tim, and Emily came into the room with Ryan at their heels, "Diana took Jenny home," Ryan spoke quietly. "Tommy's been taken down to the PD."

"Tommy Wolfe also beat up my brother because he's dating Jenny, but our dad's with him in Emergency so I can be here," Tim spoke in a somber voice, approaching the bed while holding Emily close. "We're here for you."

As the electronic clock above the door switched to 1700, Marisol's breathing slowed and Horatio instinctively kissed her forehead and took her hand one last time. As her life came to an end, a somber silence reigned as everyone mourned the loss of a special soul.
