"Miss Nothing" -The Pretty Reckless
"Brick, unless you plan on doing this for the next hour, I'm going to need you to go faster." Blossom panted as Brick currently thrusted in and out of her cunt. "I'm so close."
Brick huffed. "You got it, babe." He picked up his speed. Going in and out of her always felt like heaven. "Might not last long though…"
"Me neither. Keep going." Blossom gasped as she came around him, squeezing his cock like a vice and forgetting who she was for a moment.
Brick moaned. "Holy fuck." He was close, just a few more and then he would…
"AAH!" Blossom screamed as she felt him climax too, hot liquid dripping down her thighs as Brick breathed behind her.
Both were breathing heavily for a few moments as they came down from their sexual high. Brick was frozen in place inside Blossom, unable to move.
"Oh my word, that was…" Blossom began.
"Perfect." Finished Brick. "It was perfect." He slowly slipped out of her, fluids streaming down his skin as he did so. "Just like always."
Blossom sighed and flipped onto her back. "How on earth does it always manage to be so incredible every time?" She opened her arms for Brick to fall into. "Statistically speaking, there should be at least one time where it's not insane for us both."
Brick fought back the urge to roll his eyes as he collapsed into Blossom's embrace. "Of course Miss Science tries to catalog having sex. Just leave it be, chalk it up to one of the great mysteries of life." He flicked her nose playfully.
Blossom sighed. "Fine, fine. I'll try not to fight the logic behind it." She snuggled up to Brick and breathed in. "Just try and enjoy the moment, as you say."
"Thank God for that." Brick mumbled. "Life's depressing enough without you trying to explain an orgasm and shit." He kissed her head. "Some things in life are better left unsaid and unexplored. Like Atlantis, or the Loch Ness Monster."
Immediately, Blossom went to retort. "Well actually, there's some evidence of–" Brick covered her mouth.
"BETTER LEFT UNSAID AND UNEXPLORED." said Brick, slightly frustrated. "I know it's hard, but just breathe, and let it go, Bloss."
He took a deep breath, released it through his mouth. Blossom followed suit and released some of the tension she was holding onto. She did it again and visibly relaxed into Brick.
"How do you always know what to say to me?" She asked as she snuggled into him. "It's kind of unsettling how you always know how to make me feel more comfortable and at ease."
Brick chuckled as he shrugged. "Two sides of the same coin, Blossy. You always know when I'm feeling frustrated or upset, yet you always manage to calm me down." He kissed her hair.
"Just meant to be…" Blossom whispered. "There's nothing else I'd rather believe."
Brick laughed out loud this time. "Me neither, babe." He kissed her lips this time. "Me neither."
A few days later, Blossom was having trouble concentrating on her task. Lately, she'd been plagued by headaches and it had been throwing her off. "Just focus on the equation. Simple algebra, nothing more." X squared plus y equals…
"BLOSSOM!" A high pitched voice rang out through the library. Many heads shot up and looked around at the loud noise.
She groaned. She could identify that voice anywhere. Blossom turned towards where the shout came from and braced herself for an impact coming from her sister Bubbles. She opened her arms and immediately felt another pair wrap around hers and pull her in.
Bubbles snuggled in close and smiled brightly up at her sister. " Hey, you! What are you up to? Still trying to solve the world's problems by yourself?"
Despite the intrusion, Blossom snuggled right back. "Bubbles, what are you doing here?" She laughed a bit and buried her nose in Bubbles' hair. Mmm…coconuts and suntan lotion. "Don't you have somewhere to be?"
Bubbles puffed out a breath and pushed her hair out of her face. "Of course I do, but I always have to make sure my big sis is doing alright! Especially after that monster attack we faced the other day. Who knows what's been going on since then?" Her bright blue eyes shined up at Blossoms'.
Blossom laughed a bit and smoothed her sister's hair. "Fair enough, but just know I'm doing fine, okay? You and Buttercup don't need to keep checking on me. I'm an adult. We're all adults now, alright?"
Bubbles pouted. "Yeah alright, but that doesn't mean we don't worry or anything. We just want to make sure we're all on the same page and everything." Bubbles buried her face in Blossom's neck. "I'd be devastated if anything happened to you…" She sniffled.
Blossom felt tears sting the backs of her eyes. "I know…" She cooed. "I feel the same way."
With one last big squeeze, Bubbles released her older sister. "How's the studying going anyway? Ready for your final?" She peeked at the complicated equations Blossom was currently trying to solve.
The red-haired girl rubbed her temples. "Not too well, to be honest. Say, have you been getting many headaches lately? I can't seem to do anything these days without one flaring up on me." She began to search through her bag for her bottle of extra strength ibuprofen.
Bubbles tipped her head to the side. "Hmm, no I can't say that I have." She helped her sister locate the pills. "Have you been getting them every day?" She held Blossom's bottle of water out to her.
Blossom opened the bottle and popped two oblong pills into her mouth. She gratefully took her water and took a sip, swallowing the ibuprofen. "Not every day," Blossom shook her head and sighed, taking another sip of water. She swallowed and then finished, "but often enough that I've noticed it."
Bubbles frowned. "I would tell the Professor about this when you can, it sounds pretty serious if it's happening that often." She gently stroked her sister's hair. "I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time, Bloss."
Blossom smiled and leaned into her sister's touch. "Thank you, Bubbles. I appreciate that a lot." She sighed again. "I'll be sure to mention it to the Professor the next time I'm home."
"Good. Let me or Buttercup know if you need anything, 'kay?" She wrapped her arms around Blossom one final time before waving goodbye and heading off.
Blossom watched her leave and then turned back toward her equations. "Pretty serious, hmm?" She chewed her lip thoughtfully.
That night, Blossom was back at Brick's house to finish up studying for her upcoming algebra exam. Normally, quadratic mathematics were no problem for her and her skills, but she kept finding herself losing focus.
Blossom let out a frustrated grunt. "I just don't get it, this has never happened to me before!" She buried her face in her hands as Brick watched her.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked her, slightly concerned that something was seriously wrong with her. "You've been going around the first problem for over an hour now."
"I know, I know. I just…" She trailed off. "I can't concentrate anymore! Any time I try to focus, my head just starts throbbing and it's like I go offline." She looked up at Brick.
Brick took her hand and kissed it. "You're really starting to worry me there, chick." His eyes closed. "What did the Professor say about your headaches?" He pressed her hand against his cheek.
"Not much, he mostly chalked it up to me getting older and growing into my powers. Or whatever the heck that means." Blossom winced. "But I have a feeling that's not what this is about. If it continues, I'm going to bring it up again and insist he do something."
Brick frowned. "I think that's a wise idea. I really don't like seeing you all worked up like this. It's not…normal, it's not you. Not the Blossom I know." He kissed her cheek, feeling awfully sentimental all of the sudden.
Blossom felt herself relax the tiniest bit. "Thank you, Brick. You've been the constant during this weird, whatever this is." She fell onto her back on Brick's bed. "I just don't get it. I was fine up until–" Blossom immediately sat up, almost knocking into Brick's nose as she did so.
"OUCH! Next time a warning when you're about to do that would be nice." Brick started.
"The monster attack!" Blossom exclaimed. "I've only been feeling like this since the monster attacked last month!" Her pink eyes shot to his red ones. "There has to be some sort of connection, right? Maybe..maybe the monster did something to me while fighting it, that's gotta be it!" She suddenly sprang up and gathered her belongings in a flash of hot pink. "Thank you so much for giving me that idea, honey." Blossom gave him a quick peck and then dashed off, leaving Brick to ponder exactly what idea he had given her in the first place.
Blossom rushed home as fast as she could, touching down in front of her home in record time. She immediately went to the Professor's laboratory. Under normal circumstances, she would never interrupt the Professor and his work unprompted, but this was urgent, and Blossom needed to have answers.
"Professor! I think I know why I've been having issues lately–huh?" Blossom began, but then stopped because Buttercup and Bubbles were in the room with him.
All three looked up at her, the same solemn expression on each of their faces.
The Professor was the first to speak. "Yes, dear. I know." He stood up and gently guided her to where her sisters were sitting. "I think it's best if you have a seat."
Speechless, Blossom nodded and sat down in between Buttercup and Bubbles. She briefly glanced at each of them before turning her attention back to the Professor.
"Now, what I'm about to say may shock you girls, but I assure you, we are working on a solution." He paused, taking time to gather his thoughts. "Your Chemical X supply is depleting, and has been for some time now." His face was grim as the three Powerpuffs gasped in unison. Blossom heard Buttercup suck in a breath and Bubbles whimper just the slightest bit.
All was quiet for a moment, before Blossom the Leader Girl spoke up, "H-how is this possible? Have we done something to cause this?" Blossom's mind immediately went into overdrive at how this could have possibly happened.
The Professor held up his hand. "It's most likely nothing you've done." He reassured them. "However, I have reason to believe this is probably fairly normal. As humans get older, their bodies begin to lose their nutrients and whatnot. There's no reason why this shouldn't happen to you three as well, just in a different way."
Blossom looked at her hands. The logic seemed sound, could this be why she was having so many headaches lately?
The Professor continued, "So, until we have a more permanent solution, I'll be giving each of you injections with Chemical X each week, as well as daily supplements to keep your energy levels up."
Buttercup immediately groaned. She hated shots. "Goddamn it, literally the worst thing you could have told me." She fell back into her chair, head tilted toward the ceiling in defeat.
"Buttercup! Please watch your mouth!" The Professor scolded. "I know this isn't the news you were hoping for, but I promise everything will be okay."
Bubbles raised her hand to ask a question.
"Yes, Bubbles? Go ahead."
"Umm…" She began. "Just for posterity's sake, do you think the Rowdyruff Boys will be affected as well? They also have Chemical X in their blood."
The Professor thoughtfully grabbed his chin. "Hmm, you know what, that might be possible, Bubbles. To be sure, I'd need to have them come in for some testing at some point. Do you think you three could arrange that?" He turned towards the girls.
They nodded.
"Good, that's all for now, go ahead and wash up and I'll meet you for dinner in a few minutes."
The three girls made to stand up, but Blossom immediately felt faint as she did so. What the heck? "Buttercup! I–" She reached out to her sister as black fuzzies started to invade her vision. "I don't feel very well."
"Blossom!" Someone yelled out her name as a commotion started. Chairs scraping and people rushing in her direction.
She barely felt someone catch her as she fell. The last thing she heard was concerned, yet muffled voices before her eyes closed and she slipped out of consciousness.
