Hi guys, Amber here. I'm really sorry that I haven't been writing, I've been really busy with school and my friend got herself into some deep trouble, but I promise I will write as often as possible for you guys! I definitely deserve to have knives and chairs thrown at me, but hopefully I'll make it up to you with an extra long chapter. Hope you enjoy!

Annabeth's POV

"CLEAN UP CLEAN UP EVERYBODY DO YOUR SHARE CLEAN UP CLEAN UP EVERYBODY EVERYWHERE!" I belt out the lyrics along with the rest of the group. We cleaned the bonus room for a very long time. Like five whole minutes. I'm not sure who started singing(okay, it was most likely Leo), but once they did, everyone joined in.

"You know, it's a good thing your parental units aren't home, Thals, or we'd be dead right now," Piper remarks as she picked up a piece of popcorn from the wooden floor.

"Yeah, they like to travel. I think they're in Norway right now, but who knows! They might've stopped over in Bermuda or something." Thalia rolls her eyes. Her parents were often out of town, and usually changed their plans, which ended up with them staying out of town longer. "Do you guys think it's clean enough?"

A chorus of "Yes"es, "yup"s, and "yeah"s could be heard from around the room.

"Okay, so we're having a dance off right?" I find myself asking.

"Si si mi amigo," Percy answers. "Y'all know I'm gonna win right?"

"Uh, Percy?" Hazel's voice rings out. "How exactly are you going to win if there's no set way to win?"

Percy stops for a second, and tilts his head. Gods, he looks so cute when he's thinking. Stop it Annabeth! I scold myself. He doesn't like you, there's no reason for you to notice these things. Logic says that you have no chance with him. Follow logic. Logic is real.

"What do you think, Annabeth?" Shoot.

"Hmm? I'm sorry I couldn't hear you." I'm lying through my teeth but whatever.

"I said, what if we have like three people judge and then decide the winner? I know there's some of us who don't like dancing anyways." Percy glances at Nico, who shrugs. Nico's mom used to force him to take ballet and he's apparently scarred for life. You can't blame him though. Pointe shoes mangle your feet.

"I suppose I could judge. But I can't guarantee that I'll be fair." Nico winks at his half sister. "I'm a little biased."

"That sounds good," I say. "But who else could judge to balance out Nico?"

"Well I'm too tired to get up, so I can." Rachel lifts her head from the popcorn bowl. We all turn to look at her.

"Rachel have you gotten any sleep in the past two days?" Reyna asks.

Cue soft snoring from underneath the red blob that was Rachel's hair.

I giggle. "I guess Rachel's unable to judge. I can-if you guys want?"

"Yeah, sure whatever." Thalia breaks away from Luke's lips. For just getting together an hour ago, they sure did show a lot of PDA. "Just as long as we don't have to dance."

"So it's Annabeth and Nico who are judging?" Leo asks, looking around the room. Nods of affirmation follow. "Sweet! Let's get this party started!"

"Ooh can I go against Travis first?" Connor pulls his brother to his feet.

"Sure," Jason nods. Funny. It was his house, but I'd almost forgot he was here.

Travis and Connor walk to the middle of room and select a song from whoever's phone is hooked up to the speaker.

Jason's POV

I regret suggesting a dance off. Why? Because Connor and Travis are currently dancing very badly to the song "I'm Sexy and I Know It". And by dancing very badly, I mean excessively dabbing almost the entire time and basically tackling each other for some reason. Oh and now Connor just somersaulted into the circle of people around the two! I have weird friends.

Much to everyone's relief, the song ends. The twins await their results from Nico and Annabeth, who are giggling and whispering in a huddle.

Finally, Annabeth and Nico come to a decision. (Okay, it only took them thirty seconds, but we're an impatient bunch of teenagers!)

Annabeth's voice rings out over the craziness that is us. "Drumroll please! The winner of the dance off is...Connor! Thanks to his...interesting use of the crowd."

"Winners get attacked, losers get smacked!" Travis yells, then proceeds to tackle his brother. Connor, in turn, smacks him.

"Who's next?" I ask. Piper jumps to her feet.

"I wanna go! But someone else needs to go against me," she says, looking around the large room.

Her eyes land on me. Or rather, the guy sitting behind me. Percy stands up.

"You know I'm gonna beat you right?" He asks.

"Prove it. Cause from where I'm standing, it looks like I'm going to win." Piper winks. I clench my fists. I'm not jealous! It just makes me mad that she's flirting with- yeah okay maybe I'm a little jealous. But just a little bit!

"You're on!" challenges Percy.

They choose a song from the selection. Apparently they found a really funny one, cause they're just laughing it up. Cue an eye roll. Or eight.

The song starts. Turns out it was Anaconda by Nicki Minaj. Oh boy, this is gonna be interesting.

At first, the two of them kinda stand around awkwardly as they figure out what to do. But then as the music speeds up, everyone breaks out into hysterical laughter. Why? Because Percy has just started to wall twerk. Piper, on the other hand, has somehow managed to stitch together the dances from Juju On That Beat, Watch Me, and Gangnam Style. Needless to say, it's a hilarious performance.

After the song ends, Annabeth and Nico can hardly stop laughing to say who the winner is. In fact, I'm pretty sure the two are crying. But finally, Nico manages to choke out a tearful, "Piper!"

"What!?! I demand a recount! Someone call my lawyer!" Percy, sulking, rolls out the door and down the stairs like a log off a cliff.

"Percy! Get back here! You're gonna break your neck!" Annabeth chases after the pouting Percy.

"Ummmm we need a new judge," Piper comments as Annabeth rushes out the door.

"But won't she come back?" Grover asks.

"Trust me. We need a new judge. The two of them are gonna be down there a while." Piper laughs. "A long while."

"I can judge," Will volunteers, pushing himself up to sit by Nico, who is mysteriously blushing. Piper looks over and smirks. Clearly, she's been planning this.

"Great," Travis says. "But now who's gonna go?

Rachel lifts her head from the popcorn bowl. "I wanna go! Sounds lit!"

"Rach, do you even know what we're doing?" Reyna puts her hands on her hips like a scolding mother.

"Yeah! We're doing a dance off, right?" Rachel clarifies.

"Oh, uh, yeah. We are," Reyna answers. "Now you just need someone to go against you."

Hazel puts up her hand.

"I'll go, I guess," she says as she pushes off the bookshelf she was leaning on.

"Coolio! Hazel versus Rachel. El versus El. Dun dun dunnnnnnn!" Katie speaks up from the corner where I think she might've been eating the stash of candy the Stolls brought upstairs. Yeah, I'm gonna be avoiding that crazy mess for the rest of the night.

As Katie gorges herself on candy, Rachel and Hazel choose a song. It's common knowledge Rachel has taken dance for most of her life, and Hazel just likes performing, no matter the circumstances. So this could be interesting.

Juniper's POV

After a few minutes of Rachel and Hazel's scrolling, the song Cheap Thrills by Sia begins to play. The girls wait a second to get the beat, then they start to do things I could only dream of pulling off. Aka, moving without doing a face plant. Heck, Hazel just did the splits! And Rachel just spun around with her leg out-oh what did she call them? À la secondes? Well anyways, she did like six of those! Man, I have no idea how Will and Nico are gonna judg- oh. They're making out. Well I guess that solves that problem.

Meanwhile, Piper looks like she's about to die of happiness. After all, two of her ships have sailed today! Maybe three, if you count her own.

I let out a loud, "Whoop!" as Hazel somehow manages to do a classic Beyoncé move-and nail it!

As the song comes to an end, a chorus of whistles and cheers arise from myself and my crazy friends. Even Luke and Thalia are applauding.

"Ay! Lovebirds! Who won?" Reyna shouts at the two supposed judges(though currently it seems like they're judging each other's lips.)

Nico and Will immediately turn back to the "stage", cheeks red.

"We-uh-decided it was an-erm- tie," Will stammered. "Yeah, a tie. That makes sense," he added, almost to himself.

"Yeah! What he said!" Nico's face was a shade of red that would rival that of a tomato's. Clearly, Solangelo was not like the PDA-loving couple Thaluke.

"Does anyone else want to go?" Frank asks.

A collective mass of groans and "no"s answered his question quite clearly.

"Well alrighty then," Frank returns to playing on his phone.

"OH MY GODS WE SHOULD DO A BRAID TRAIN!" Katie runs through the bonus room, on another sugar high evidently.

"YASSSSSSSS!" Percy and Leo scream back. The three of them sit in a line.

"Well what are you guys waiting for? A train doesn't have just three people!" Katie motions for the rest of us to sit down.

"Screw it," I say, and sit down behind Leo.

Soon enough, everyone is sitting in the line, braiding hair. Though it's a little hard to braid some of the boys' hair, since it's so short.

"Dammit, Connor, you're pulling my hair!" Travis complains.

"That's what she said!" Connor winks.

"No no no no no!" Reyna turns around and covers Hazel's ears. "There's innocent children here! Go downstairs!"

"Alright, see ya!" Connor mock salutes the group and walks downstairs. Everyone returns to braiding.

About thirty seconds later, I hear a very loud, "OH DAMNNNNN!"

We all rush downstairs to see what Connor is yelling about.

Once I notice it, I just about faint!

Hi! I hope you liked the chapter! Sorry about the cliffhanger, trust me, when I get up the next chapter(I'm going to update much more often, I promise) you guys are gonna be veryyy happy! Please review and give feedback and suggestions! I love hearing from you guys!
