Epilogue:

( Back In The Present )

"That's an interesting story Aunt Twilight. But I hope you don't mind if I am suspicious of its accuracy," Flurry Heart said after the story was complete.

"And what, pray tell is that Flurry Heart? You've always enjoyed my stories before," Twilight said with an eyebrow raised in confusion.

"Because it seems as though you decided to put your friends and yourself in the story just to fit the narrative. It's not like any of that could have really happened," Flurry Heart replied, finding the story to be made up or something.

"And what would it take to prove it to you?" Twilight asked, curious to hear her niece's answer.

"Well, maybe if somepony who was there could verify it, I would believe. But we both know that is impossible," Flurry Heart answered, knowing that it is impossible that anypony was around when Dinoponies were around.

"And why is that Flurry Heart?" a new but familiar voice said.

Flurry Heart and Twilight looked up to see both Princess Celestia and Luna flying toward them. Twilight wondered how long they had been there while Flurry Heart was wondering why they were there.

"Indeed, as you know, someponies live for a very long time," Luna said landing in front of Flurry Heart.

"Well, yeah. Alicorns can live for a long time. But what does that have to do with anything Aunt Luna?" Flurry Heart acknowledged.

"Quite a lot, Flurry. Do think we should tell her Luna? " Celestia said, turning to Luna with a smile.

"Well, we don't want her thinking that Twilight was lying," Luna replied with a knowing smile.

"You see Flurry Heart, our ancestors were there. We are the descendants of Night Cycle and Bright Cycle. Every few centuries before we were born and named to fit the times," Celestia explained.

"You are just making that up. There's no way you can prove that," Flurry Heart insisted, finding it hard to believe that the ancestors of her aunts were the chiefs Bright and Night Cycle.

"Oh really? Take a look at this," Luna asked with a knowing look.

With that, she and Celestia pull down their shirts and at the same time there was a small shimmer of light. When Flurry Heart looked again, she saw two small scars on her two Aunt's chests. She looked at them in confusion.

"When Bright Cycle and Night Cycle were trying to help Bruton some of the smaller rocks hit them and left them with these scars which were passed down to us," Celestia said with a smile.

"Our family used a little mud and glamour spell to cover them up so that nopony would worry," Luna added.

"And would later use royal regalia to cover it up to avoid questions about it. But if you need more proof look at this," Celestia concluded as she and Luna began brushing some vines and other plants away.

Celestia and Luna revealed hoofprints at the base of the Aladar statue. Once they put their hooves in, Flurry Heart saw it was a perfect fit. But it also revealed an inscription.

"We may not know what will come of our time here. But we can hope that the story of our journey will inspire friendship and courage in the hearts of others."

Half-light.

"So it did happen. WOW!" Flurry Heart exclaimed.

"Yes. And it is the stories that we leave behind that can have a lot of impact on other creatures, so we try to do our best to help others out. It's part of our family legacy," Twilight said.

"I think I understand that now Aunty Twilight. Thanks for telling me the story," Flurry Heart said with a smile.

"No problem Flurry Heart," Twilight said starting to head back the way they'd come.

"But I sure do wish I could've met Aladar myself," Flurry Heart said, a little disappointed that she didn't get the chance to meet Aladar in person, er, pony.

"You know, Flurry. Aladar once said that as long you have the spirit of sharing and friendship inside you, you can call out into the valley and Aladar will answer back. Give it a shot," Twilight said, encouraging her niece to try and call out to Aladar.

"But how?" Flurry asked, wondering how she could call out to Aladar.

"Like this…," Twilight replied with a smile as she lets out a laser of magic that took in the shape of Aladar's Head and bellows out to the valley of Equestria and echoes.

"Oh, I think I hear him," Twilight said, listening to the echoes replying.

Flurry Heart gave it a try herself and before she and Twilight knew it they heard a bellow in reply, which quite surprised them. Suddenly, they heard more bellows coming from the town of Canterlot where every creature from Ponies to Yaks, Yaks to Hippogriffs and Griffons, Hippogriffs and Griffons to Changelings, and Changelings to even Dragons.

They all know the legend and stories of Aladar and his leadership and decided to join in. Hearing everyone in the kingdom bellowing in Aladar's Honor made Twilight, Flurry, Luna, and Celestia smile in gratitude.

So Flurry Heart follows Twilight away from Aladar's statue while Celestia and Luna, however, stay behind with the statue.

"Aladar was a great leader." Luna said, reminiscing about the past.

"As is Twilight now. But everypony has to come into their own their own way. We can just try to guide them in the right direction young. But it is up to them to prove their worth," Celestia said with pride as she looks at the statue one last time before motioning for her sister to get ready to leave.

"Thank you Aladar for teaching two old mares there is more to young ones' decisions than just hotheadedness," Celestia said, thanking the statue of Aladar.

"And that you're never too old to learn new tricks," Luna added with a smile.

Twilight's Voice: None Of Us Knew What Changes Big Or Small Lie Ahead…

Twilight and Flurry Heart ran back to Canterlot as all the creatures continued bellowing. In fact, in Flurry Hearts' mind, she could imagine herself as a young Dinopony who stops at the lake's edge and bellows along with the herd.

Twilight's Voice: One Thing Is Certain, Aladar's Journey And Legacy Is Not Over…

Celestia and Luna watched as they see everyone bellowing in Aladar's Honor of Friendship and Harmony just like Aladar would've wanted to see.

Twilight's Voice: We Could Hope That In Some Small Way…Our Time Here In Equestria Will Be Remembered.

As they were leaving, it could have been just their imaginations, but both Luna and Celestia could swear they were hearing Aladar's happy bellows as the sun was setting.

Author's Note: Well, here you folks are the ending of the story. But like they always say on DINOSAUR...

"None Of Us Really Know What Changes Big And Small Lie Ahead. One Thing Is Certain Our Journey's Not Over. We Could Only Hope That In Some Small Way...Our Time Here Will Be Remembered.
