The Alyson Blights continued to work on their project, making sure that the Abomination sludge was thick enough and the tech was functional. As they worked, they kept shooting curious looks at the two Child Amity Clones playing pattycake. While neither noticed, the Amelia Blights would steal glances at two child Amities playing with each other, occasionally whispering to one another.
Alyson Blight #31, on the other hand, was completely oblivious. She continued to mutter quietly to herself, making adjustments on the machine as she buried herself in her own work. Huh, I guess "like father, like daughter" is kinda true.
One of the Amelia Blights, Amelia #19 saw how absorbed Alyson Blight was in her work and tried getting her attention a couple times, but she seemed totally oblivious. After another couple tries, she finally gave up and turned to her "twin" sister.
"Alyson," Amelia #19 spoke, gaining Alyson #31's attention. What does she want with her now?
"Yes?" She answered, still staring at her work as she made sure everything was set for the test run.
"Do you need some help?" Amelia #19 asked, sounding worried for her friend, who wasn't taking things as seriously as she should.
"No no!" Alyson #31 replied quickly. "We're almost done! Just a little longer!"
Amelia #19 looked skeptically at her sister's back. But seeing that there was no reason to push her luck, she simply sighed and sat on a nearby chair.
"Okay." Amelia #19 said, nodding to herself as she sat on a chair near the entrance of the lab. She then thought to herself, "Huh, there's something about her that I like, and I mean, in a friendly way."
"Amelia," Amelia #18 said, grabbing Amelia #19's arm. "Are you alright? You've seemed distracted lately." She said, concerned.
"Yeah, yeah." Amelia #19 said dismissively. "Just tired, I guess."
"Well be focused up, there might be chance that there could be Child Amelias coming this way." Amelia #18 smiled.
"Really? Cool." Amelia #19 said with a grin, excited to find more children for the Child Amities to play with.
Alyson #23 smiled, "Which means there might be Child Alysons coming this way, so the child versions of Mittens have more playmates to be with."
"Don't call us Mittens!" Two Amities said, annoyed.
"Whatever you say… Mittens." Four Amelias said with a smirk.
"Oh dear…" Alyson #22 muttered as an exasperated sigh escaped her lips. "Just ignore her."
"I wish you could do the same with that Bird Tube!" One of a few Amitys holding Child Amitys' hands said as they walked downstairs. "I mean, it's always, "Hooty This" or "Hoot Hoot that"!
"We liked it!" The 4 Child Amitys spoke, sternly. One of them spoke, "I mean, Hooty is a cute little birdy!"
"Well, you're more than welcome to play with some of the Child versions of me," Alyson #32 said before pointing at Amelia #19. "And her."
"Really?" A Child Amity spoke and squealed with the other Child Amities as they came running downstairs. "We'll have so much fun when they come over!"
"Now hold it, dear," Amelia #29 said. "We don't know if the Child Clones of me and the other Amelias want to play with you kids."
"Why wouldn't they?" Child Amity #13 asked.
"Well...they may think that you're just annoying, so maybe you should wait until they become less angry." Amelia #30 said, casually. This hurts the Child Amitys feelings.
"That's enough," Alyson #31 said, sternly as she stood in front of the Child Amities in concern. "If they wanna play, that's their own business." She then muttered to the other Amelias, "Just get Luz to help with finding a game."
Elsewhere, Luz was holding Amity's hand to make sure she doesn't get lost in the sea of Amity clones, who glance at her, jealously muttering about how they should be with Luz instead of her. To be honest, Luz wanted to be with every single Amity, but she was only one Luz Noceda. There were hundreds of Amitys here and thousands more Amitys upstairs. And if it wasn't that, there were perhaps millions of Amitys out there in the Boiling Isles, so Luz would never catch any real break.
"I don't know if I should be intrigued by this or creeped out." Amity admitted. "They're all me, but they're glaring at me as if..."
"I get what you mean." Luz said.
"Hey, Luz," An Amity clone asks, innocently. "Can you come sit with me for a little bit?"
"No, come read Azura the Good Witch! I even drew a picture!" Another Amity clone said, playfully.
"No, I wanna be with her!" 2 Amities said, angrily.
"No, I will!" Another few Amities angrily said. The Amities crowded around her, eagerly seeking her presence, overwhelming her with their incessant demands for recognition.
Luz felt overwhelmed, and slightly irritated with the situation as she blushed harder than Amity. She was only one Luz Noceda...
...Or Should she be one Luz Noceda? Maybe if she puts herself in the duplication goo, she'll be able to with more than one Amity at one time.
"Amity, we need to go to the Duplication Goo! I have an idea that will satisfy all these Amities." Luz smiled.
"I can go with you!" All the Amities said, smiling before glaring at each other.
"I can go with ONLY ONE." Luz said, annoyed. All the Amitys groaned as the real Amity took the chance to leave with Luz, to which Amity responded by sticking out her tongue at them, but the moment when Hundreds of Child Versions of Amelia and Alyson surrounded the Owl House with other Amity Duplicates. "You didn't even notice." Amity commented, amused by her girlfriend's actions.
"Hehe." Luz said awkwardly. "Guess I'm not that great at noticing." She joked, scratching the back of her head.
